I got the char-broil chicken sandwich combo.(total $15.42) It is good! The chicken was very juicy. Tons of yummy fries. It’s my new favorite item to get at VJ‘s burgers.(Half way through I decided to take pictures) Love the cheese burgers and chili fries too.

Wanted to try something thing closer to my house. Seen this place had good reviews. The wait was long and then when I got home my 3 Hamburgers were burnt. My fries were super cold and the cheese looked like it had been sitting as long as we had been waiting for our order to be ready. Did 5 orders and only one came out okay! Noted we live about 7 mins away.

This place is wonderful its like a cross between a hole in the wall burger joint and Dennys I mean they actually serve you your food but it has the Great taste of a very neighborhood burger joint 😊❤️🤣The prices are great 👍.. they even have Patty melts.

Wanted a breakfast burrito so found the closest place to where I was at. Place is clean, lots of parking, and staff was friendly. Breakfast burrito was a good portion tasty but potatoes just need alittle more seasoning. French fries were cooked well and tasted really good. Would come back here.

Hole in the wall place, staff is so friendly. The cook Carlos is amazing and makes sure to get your food right! Portions are more than generous and food is delicious. I even had enough fries with my burger that I could share with my son. Burgers have that nice charbroiled taste, burritos are stuffed and the club sandwich was good. They offer inside and outside seating. Prices are pretty decent for the amount of food. Overall really good Mexican/American joint.

Personally I love mom & pop burger joints. This spot is fast, clean, and great customer service. Their breakfast burritos are great and will fill you up. Pair them with their salsas, all are good. Their burgers are also good, I personally do not like shredded lettuce but taste is still great. Also, their fried zucchini is the best around here.

If you are looking for an all American cheese burger, than this place will hit the spot. It is very small, so plan on take out. Ive only had the double cheese burger, so I cant speak for any of the other food. I do see a lot of people going in and out. I noticed because I work down the street.

Hungry for quick food? This is the spot for a good value for your buck. I believe the serving is more for 2 people. Burgers are big, any way you like it. My favorite is the chicken salad with ranch and some red hot sauce, giving it a spicy kick to a chick salad 🤤

Whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner always great food and prices. One of the rare places who can cook eggs over medium correctly. Their Socal burger is the best ever. 2 patties, cheese 🧀, bacon 🥓, grilled onions, avacado, lettuce, tomato 🍅 and 1000 island dressing. In a combo with great tasting fries and a soda its sure to be your last meal of the day.

This place used to be great but over the past few years it’s gone down hill. They continually raise the prices, decreased the portion size, and even skimp on ingredients (single cheese on double cheeseburgers). The are extremely overpriced in general so their family meals were the only way to go but they keep hiking up their prices. They say support local business and I’d like to but they aren’t doing their part in the deal.

Order from door dash from their menu and was overcharged for one of the items.They do not have a steak sandwich dinner as listed!! Just ala cart sandwich. So ended up paying almost $2extra for the same thing.When I called the restaurant they had no satisfactory resolution and they did not compensate me for their mistake.Since I am a care giver for my daughter who has cancer and staying at city of hope I could not leave to go to VJS to resolve as staff suggested. Never again!!! Too many choices to deal with this kind of overcharge!!!

Best burger. I ordered the two patty half burger. No pickle no tomato ni onion. Ordered extra sauce. Got back on the road the 210 I mean and enjoyed every bite of that buurger. I live 60 miles away and it was dinner. I will be stopping there again. Many times.

I use to go there but now they have new cooks and cashiers. The food doesnt taste the same, my fries tasted like they refried them just to warm them up, the cook was cutting chilli and our burgers were spicy guess he didnt wash his hands.

3 out of 5 at best. Very friendly service and clean Semus, the burgers are just too overcooked and saturated to compete with the likes of all the other Tommys knockoffs. This is not meant to compete with in and out its a whole different type of eating experience and there are many places like this most notably Norms on Whittier Boulevard in Whittier that are five out of five in my book. However if you can find the place cuz its sort of attached to the back end of a strip mall like a postage stamp that fell off a letter, then you certainly can find some other Alternatives which Im sure judging by the smiles on other customers faces exceed the scrump-dilly-icious factor of the burgers. Maybe Ill be back if Im in this neck of the woods again maybe not
