I have gotten glasses at numerous places over decades. This is my first time at Visionworks and I can honestly say this will be the only place I come from now on. Not only are they professional, which one would expect, but they are reasonably priced and so friendly! Chris helped me first with my selection. Then a week later Kaitlyn was very helpful as well. Today Marcus helped me finalize my order. I could not be more pleased! Highly recommend.

I received a flyer in the mail with some unbelievable sales especially for progressive glasses. Made an appointment online, a week before my appointment I was getting numerous text messages to remind of my appointment coming up, that I can still change the date, time or whatever…day of appointment. Got there early went inside and it is beautiful inside, clean, open and bright! In just a few minutes the Doctor came out to meet me, and he got to work. We talked about the health of my eyes, made a recommendation with my insurance and then the excitement happens! I got roam the floor looking at all their glasses! Sunglasses, designer frames, frames that were included in the sales advertisement. Picked a pair out, Met with Michelle’s, what a great person! Easy to talk to, we chatted, about personal life, work life etc. it was like talking to friend. She was amazing. Made me feel welcomed and important.My thing is even if the store is nice, but you have substandard sales people in your store, your store is substandard. She made the store 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ she even was able to take my sunglasses frames and change out the lenses for me too. Those will be ready Monday. Love this place. Will be back every few years, they are a VSP owned company found out my VSP insurance was top tier, so thanks “JOB” anyways if it’s time to get your prescription to be examined again, better come here and get your moneys worth and get treated like you are important, valued, and an old friend! Excellent Doctors and outstanding customer service! They want to be there helping you. Thanks guys!

I had a wonderful experience here. Staff including Marcus and Katelyn were excellent. There was another staff member who helped me that was excellent as well, but unfortunately I did not grab her name for which I apologize for. Staff took their time with me, but also when a new customer came in they greeted them. They had a great balance managing their customers which many businesses struggle with. Dr. Park is awesome and thorough. And it was truly great having a real person in the room with me not the virtual nonsense like Stanton does where you dont get your eyes properly examined. Eye health is very important and costs shouldnt be cut by doing everything virtually... I truly appreciate Visionworks keeping an in house optometrist. Again I must mention Marcus was especially spectacular. I totally wanted to make friends with him because he made my experience rather fun and he seems like a fantastic person and thats not normally how I would expect an eye appointment to be.The only downside to my experience is the Visionworks website sent my appointment reminder 35 minutes after my appointment time and I was not in the system at all for whatever reason. But thankfully staff were able to accommodate me with ease even with this glitch.I would absolutely come here again.

After looking for quite sometime at several different eyeglass stores, I went to Visionworks - Sunrise/Madison Ave location - and found a very flattering frame for my new glass prescription thanks to Emena and Chris!! It Was a fun, very educational, and wonderful experience and I have to say the Visionworks team made it that way!! They were so supportive and I love, love, love my new glasses!! Came here for my first eye exam and had a great experience! Everyone I interacted with was wonderful.Michelle went over my insurance coverage and explained everything in detail. Her and another gentlemen up front even went out of their way to see if my insurance covered sunglasses.The technician was such a sweetheart and very patient, kind, and courteous.Dr.Park was awesome. He explained everything in enough detail that I didn’t have any additional questions.No one talked down or made me feel judged since I had never had an eye exam before. I felt so welcome. I wish I got everyone’s name so I can thank them. But they were fantastic! Hope to see them all at next year’s exam!

I went to my first appointment at this location a few weeks ago and everyone I encountered was absolutely amazing. The optometrist made me feel very comfortable and he was attentive to my concerns and questions. Kaitlyn helped check me out when purchasing my contacts and glasses and she was friendly and incredibly helpful! I had to come back to get my glasses adjusted in which I was assisted by Marcus. I walked in, on a Saturday (which was busy), he made me feel welcome and made sure to check on me while I was waiting. Not only did Marcus provide me with incredible customer service but I also witnessed an interaction where he went above and beyond for another customer. My every interaction, even with staff in passing, has been nothing short of amazing!

First time coming to visionworks, my experience from start to finish was excellent. I forgot the lady’s name at the front desk but she was super nice and helpful. Dr Park was also nice and explained in detail about my eye health which is something I’ve never had explained. What can I say? All the people here are amazing! I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went. Michelle helped me pick out my frames even before I was seen by the doctor. There are so many to choose from and she was a huge help. The prices are way better than previous places my family and I have been to. I didn’t need children’s glasses this time but they have a really large selection. Anyway, I’m not generally a review writer but I’m overly impressed.

We were sent to Visionworks because my son broke his glasses RIGHT before we were leaving for a trip! Marcus saved the day!! He was so helpful and took the time to find frames to fit my sons existing lenses...which took over an hour and we were never rushed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The office was clean and well organized with a great selection of frames. The level of service that was provided has convinced me to change our optomistrist to Visionworks! Great experience. I last had new lenses more than a handful of years earlier and was in dire need of new glasses. I was able to schedule an appointment within the hour by booking online. Dr. Park answered all my questions during the eye exam and was very thorough. I did not feel rushed at all. I got a lot of personal help with choosing new frames. Highly recommend!

I tried Visionworks because they were covered under VSP. The Madison location was so friendly. The staff was so polite and courteous. I was in and out within 30 mins. Dr Parks explained everything so well and helped me pick out new lenses that were cheaper than what I had been paying before. I was pleasantly surprised and will continue to come back.

Making an eye exam appointment online was easy and convenient.I was pleasantly greeted upon entering the store by all staff. Check in was quick and easy. The eye exam was one of the best and most thorough I’ve ever had. The optician was friendly and explained all the test details. The doctor was very friendly and professional. He explained all the imaging results and gave me a very thorough eye exam. Michelle V. Assisted me with choosing the right frames, the right progressive lenses, lens coating and bifocal needs that I wanted and needed at a price I could afford. She was very pleasant, friendly and delightful to talk to. No one tried to pressure me into buying something I didn’t want and that’s important to me. I would definitely recommend shopping at this store for your eyewear needs and an eye exam. I will be back for all my eye exams and eyewear needs in the future.

I needed glasses bad. I went to this office and they tested my eyes immediately. I found some nice frames and bought two pair of glasses. Marcus Acosta helped me and he did an excellent job. Unbelievably great deal two pairs of gorgeous progressive gold rimmed glasses bling for 99 dollars I m far sighted can’t read worth a darn and grabbed this deal added 100 dollars for reflective anti glare lenses and out the door! The service and the product received from Visionworks were both exceptional. I decided to give this place a try after receiving a flyer in the mail announcing they were now open and offering a special. I ended up purchasing 3 pairs of glasses and am very happy with the product received. Michell was great to work with and when I checked out she explained to me why I would want to get the anti-glare on all my lenses. I work on computers all day and have multiple monitors and a window in my office. I put the anti glare on just one of the pair of glasses. When I brought the glasses home, the 2nd pair purchased for work were pretty unusable because of the glare coming from monitors and windows! Michelle was right. I made another trip down to get this added to the glasses. Its not an upsell, this is real, Both Marcus and Michelle are great to work with and I highly recommend Visionworks on Madison Avenue in Citrus Heights.

I made the silly mistake of leaving my daily contacts at home and just one phone call to Dr. Park and he helped me with some trial lenses at no cost. I feel such gratitude toward VisionWorks in Citrus Heights! Everyone is friendly but Michelle Valencia & Dr. Arthur Park really stand out. Michelle is knowledgeable, solution oriented, can explain well, gives pertinent details, and is very helpful overall. Michelle truly cares and wants to help people! She didnt mind my multiple questions and the time it took to answer them. She is also exceptional at adjusting eyeglasses!I liked that Michelle could explain why my high end progressive lenses from V.O. were causing me vision problems. She encouraged me to speak again with V.O. who had redone my high end progressive lenses multiple times. Michelle spoke with Dr. Park about my issues and Dr Park was able to solve or end the slant problem in my progressive lenses.Dr. Parks new Rx in my new progressive lenses that I got from VisionWorks dont make things look slanted and visually feel comfortable to wear when I go out! I appreciate Dr. Parks knowledge and his ability to address my vision problems!I also love their 100 day policy if Im not happy with my new progressive lenses that I can change them to single vision lenses at no cost to me. This policy and Michelle made me trust Michelles advice to get a new Rx and lenses from VisionWorks, and now I have the best progressive lenses Ive had in many years, and a new Rx I can trust. I dont recommend this place if your children are neurodivergent. My child has adhd and autism and was doing his very best. He was doing quite well and trying hard to follow directions. 2 male employees kept getting very visibly frustrated, and kept loudly whispering SH!+ while leaving the room. I heard them say it around 6 times total. I guess they thought I couldnt hear or didnt understand, as Im also neurodivergent. But I heard them. It was a disheartening experience. One female employee did an amazing job with him. Props to her.

Although the deal was based on the least expensive frames, I managed to find a couple frames that I really liked. I came in for an eye exam and left extremely pleased with my experience. Kaitlyn did my pretesting and she was very friendly and professional and made the experience very quick and easy. She took a scan of the back of my eye to look at it’s overall health which was very unique and awesome to see- I didn’t know until then how many different things could affect the health of the eye. Dr. Park was very thorough and educational during my exam. He was very friendly and again, made the experience quick and easy. Michelle and Ximena were very nice when it came to picking out which glasses would be perfect for me. The overall experience was great and quite honestly felt like I was just hanging out with friends! I am glad to have them in my area for my annual eye exams and will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family as well as anybody considering coming in!

My partner & I came in for an eye exam on 11/21/23. This was probably the MOST personable and inclusive experience we’ve had at any optometrist (I went to LensCrafters, not anymore!). Kaitlyn was awesome, we reminisced about the time Rachel Green went in for an eye exam & she spent time/effort helping my partner choose her frames. Dr. Park was informative and made that awkward silence not so awkward. Michelle was not only helpful in figuring out my insurance plan, she was relatable and provided us some sound advice. When picking up my frames, I had asked Marcus if I can pick up my partner’s too. He replied with, “Absolutely, ” then couldn’t find it. He was searching under my last name. My partner & I aren’t married (yet) but I’m too old to be calling her “my girlfriend.” LolThank you for such a GREAT team. We’ll see you next time!

I honestly chose to come here because of all the previous good reviews and it was the best decision ever! Right when I walked in, I was greeted with smiling workers who were happy to help me. I had an appointment at 10:15 and didn’t have to wait at all to be seen. The doctors were super nice and really listened to my concerns involving my eye health. I work at a desk staring at a computer screen and the doctor gave me a prescription for “computer” glasses. There were many choices to choose from when it came to the frames and I can’t wait for my new glasses to come! But I highly recommend this optometrist for anyone looking for glasses or contacts ☺️

The entire staff was really great and knowledgeable which included the tech that helped from the moment I walked in, the Dr who was really cool to chat with about pizza and soccer as he explained what we were looking at on the screen, to the GM Marcus who helped me when I picked up my new glasses and explained the modern capabilities of my new lenses. I recently visited Vision Works with my toddler son and had a great experience. The staff was extremely patient and kind as my little one was a bit restless being in the store. Ximena and Kaitlyn were so wonderful with him and helped keep him entertained while I discussed options with Dr. Park. He took his time to explain everything clearly and answer all of my questions. I appreciated how calm and reassuring he was.The store itself was also very clean and well organized, which helped make the visit less stressful. Ximena helped fit me for glasses and was great with my son as well. I really appreciated how attentive everyone was to both of our needs. Michelle also helped tremendously by finding me an amazing deal on frames and lenses.Overall, Vision Works provided an excellent customer experience. I have now been to two stores since they opened in Sacramento: Arden and Citrus Heights. They have the BEST COSTUMER SERVICE! I just bought my second pair of glasses. They made sure I had the best quality and best fit, and they went out of their way to ensure I had what I need at a price that works for me. My only regret is not remembering everyones names. Wonderful staff and you can use your in-network VSP benefits! Kaitlyn was very friendly helping me get my retinal photos and some eye exams done. Dr. Park made sure my prescription was perfect and went over the images with me. Michelle helped me pick out some cool frames for both regular glasses and sunglasses, as well as helped me understand what was covered under my plan. When I came back to get my glasses, Ximena was great with adjusting them to make sure they fit. They all deserve five stars!

I unsuspectedly walked into this OPTICAL store last Friday with the intention of purchasing a new pair of glasses, but instead walked out with a headache, swollen eyes, ears and throat, due to the overwhelming smell of fragrance pluggins; and I was there for only a few minutes. Then on Saturday, I woke up with a sore throat and an earache.I asked the man that was in the store if there were pluggins present because I have severe chemical/fragrance sensitivities. He seemed unsure, but finally located the culprit and turned it down.While literally holding my nose waiting for an estimate for the cost of progressive lenses, I also noticed what looked like a fragrance diffuser on the other side of the customer counter.There are A LOT of people who suffer from chemical/fragrance sensitivities/asthma, and this store isnt friendly to those who do.There are many other options out there to choose from, and every other optical store Ive visited was fragrance free.

This is my 2nd time seeing Dr. Park for an eye exam and I will be returning every year. Ive struggled with glare for several years which made night driving unbearable. Dr. Park gave me a new glasses prescription and recommended anti-glare and polarized sunglasses which helped reduce a lot of glare. Dr. Park explained that a lot of my glare symptoms are caused by cataracts and he even found sun damage on my eyes which was not discussed by my previous optometrist.Ximena was very friendly and patient and helped me decide on progressive glasses so I can see both far and near. My wife did not get an eye exam but Ximena adjusted her glasses for free. I highly recommend this Visionworks location.
