With immense gratitude and humility, I express this long-overdue review for Dr. Chopra, whom Ive had the privilege of seeing for over 8 years. As a young adult patient under his care, Ive felt truly blessed to be part of his caseload since day one. Dr. Chopra consistently explores every option with the patients best interest at heart. Before considering surgery, he genuinely weighs in on the best course of action. What sets him apart is his unwavering care and respect for all his patients; conversations in the waiting room reflect this shared sentiment. We willingly wait for him, knowing hes truly the best. Both recent surgeries he performed on me were not only aimed at addressing vision loss but also focused on preserving my long-term vision. His care and compassion, both before and after surgery, have been invaluable in alleviating my anxiety. I recently was the benefactor of 5 eye surgeries by Doctor Vikas Chopra, a very dedicated and skillful Ophthalmologist and his very competent surgical team at the Arcadia Outpatient Surgery Center, which includes Karen, Michelle, Cherie, Carmine, Mercy, and Karma . Beginning in January 2024 through February 2024, Dr. Chopra and his team inserted 2 stents in my right eye and one stent in my left eye for severe glaucoma. Those surgeries were followed by cataract surgery on each eye on two separate occasions. Following those surgeries, I am now enjoying the positive results of what I understand were very complicated surgical processes.Please accept and convey my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Chopra and his great team of healthcare specialists for their treatment and care of me during this difficult process.

Dr. CHOPRA has been my husbands doctor for over 30 years. He is absolutely a superb surgeon having done four surgeries on his delicate eyes for glaucoma and cataracts and besides that he is always upbeat honest and supportive. We now travel 300 mikes to see him every few months and it is totally worth it even though we have a premier eye institute in our new place of residence. Any wait that we have in his office is 100% worth the gift of preservedvision that he has provided us. We always leave feeling joy and gratitude for his level of excellence.

Several years ago, Grace Wong, my optometrist, identified concerns with irregular visual field testing, prompting her to recommend consultation with a specialist. This guidance led me to Dr. Vikas Chopra, affiliated with the distinguished UCLA Doheny Eye Center in Arcadia and Pasadena.With meticulous attention to a diverse array of test results, Dr. Chopra discerned a diagnosis of low tension open-angle glaucoma. A comprehensive treatment plan was expertly devised, effectively alleviating pressure in both eyes. This plan endured through the challenges posed by the pandemic.Approximately 8 months ago, a significant shift in my vision acuity became evident, necessitating two changes in eyeglass prescriptions. This change coincided with the accelerated growth of cataracts, which had been previously diagnosed.Fortuitously, I was under the care of Dr. Chopra, who recognized the necessity for precise measurements of my eyes. It was revealed that my eyes possessed an extraordinary length, demanding a tailored approach and specialized lenses for addressing the rapidly advancing cataracts. I meet Dr. Chopra in January 2019. I scheduled an appointment for a second opinion, because my current treatment was not controlling my glaucoma. I been living with this condition since age 41.When I the consult with Dr. Chopra, immediately I felt a connection and in my heart, I knew was going to be fine.Not only is he a professional, great at what he does but also down to earth human being. To find these combinations in a doctor is not easy.I have had two surgeries, February and April 2019 and till present my glaucoma has been controlled.With time my pressure will gradually increase due to the aging process but Dr. Chopra bought me time and conserved the remaining of my vision. For this I am so grateful and thank God, I ended up being his patient.

Dr. Chopra was highly recommended to me and I first went to see him a few years ago because I had serious concerns due to my glaucoma. He was professional, yet warm and caring, and he took the time to explain my condition in detail and the best treatment for optimal eye health. He was my surgeon for two cataract surgeries, which were both highly successful and pain free! He is an amazing surgeon and an awesome individual and I highly recommend him for anyone with glaucoma issues. Hes the best!

In 2012 Both my eye pressure was 28 when Dr. Paulina Han (Chopras College student) in Rosemead sent me to. The Best Doctor in the Newer Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery. Dr. Vikas Chopra. Post Surgery every six months Dr Chopra see me to monitor my eyes. Since my surgery my eye pressure have being Normal! I am thankful I found Han and Chopra they are so considerate and care for us human beings.I recommend with the bottom of my heart Dr. Vikas Chopra.Martha Robson.

This doctor will go above and beyond for you. I had seen other doctors due to circumstances beyond my control. It was heavenly for me when i found out that i could return to doctor Chopra. Other doctors were negligent to the point where i would eventually lost my sight completely. They just dont care because you are not their family member. I was just a number. Dr. Chopra is so knowledgeable and competent even his very presence is therapeutic. He leave no stones un-turn and will explore every and all options to help preserve and maintain your vision. He spends time with you and does not go in and out the room like a hamburger as most doctors do. If you want God to preserve your vision through the right set of hands, please go to Dr. Chopra. You will have no regrets. He has no idea that i am writing a review. The fact of the matter is, good and competent doctors should not go un-noticed. They should be esteemed and held with high regards as they are few and few. Dr Chopra is at the top of the chart.
