I had a great experience upgrading my equipment. The store was busy upon arrival and the staff acknowledged my presence and assured me they’d be right with me. Ultimately, I had Alma help me. She was very professional and went over all options and costs. Following decisions, she was able to migrate all my data even after an initial snag. After migration she took me through new features of my phone. Overall, my situation took time and, even with a busy store, I received amazing, straight-forward customer service. Very knowledgeable and results oriented staff at the Hollister Verizon store.

We were very impressed the minute we walked through the door. We were greeted and helped immediately. Special kudos to Paul who is very personable and helped us every step of the way. Terrible service. I am not happy with any of the service members at this store (except for Paul). I had a simple issue with my phone, they couldnt figure out for 4 weeks. I ended up solving it myself on YouTube. The manager Alma is absolutely terrible. No customer service skills whatsoever and definitely no rush or priority for business accounts.

Im guessing its not your fault but youre still selling the phones with poor cell service. Why is my phone getting one bar of 4G in the middle of a parking lot in the middle of Hollister? I pay for 5G all month I never get 5G then most the time Im lucky if I get three bars of 4G and then the GPS on it sucks pretty much everything about Verizon in this town is horrible. Do you notify your customers before they buy a phone that Verizon has horrible coverage in this town?!

If you need someone who is patient, diligent and takes ownership of an issue, be sure to ask for Paul Gonzalez. Not only did he do all of the above but he stayed well beyond his shift to work on a system glitch that had us there over 3 hours.I could not be more impressed with how well he kept his professional composure (he really got the run around from Verizon) and continued to be pleasant and patient even when directed in circles.The next day he jumped right back on the issue and had it resolved for me by the morning.True customer service at its best! We had a wonderful experience at our local Verizon store yesterday. My fiancé and i had just got on our own plan together and it was one of the easiest things thanks to Paul Gonzales. He was extremely helpful for us and answered our gazillion questions the whole time. Definitely makes the process so much easier and hassle free when you have a knowledgeable efficient sales representative. Not only that but all the other employees and manager were also very helpful and able to help when transferring phone numbers.

A big thanks to Alma Leal. Thanks to Apple’s latest IOS update, my iPhone locked up and was a brick for 5 days. I restored it from a backup, but the cellular function was locked. I tried to reactivate it online but finally gave up. I stopped by the Hollister Verizon store and Alma had been fixed up in 5 minutes! Thanks again!

I started a new plan with Verizon at this retail store and purchased a prepaid phone that was inoperable due to battery issues. It had to be replaced through the manufacturer and the phone company made it very difficult and stressful to replace it with a new one. The reason I give this Verizon store 5 stars is because every one of the staff members were not only extremely professional and courteous with me, but they went above and beyond to solve my issue even though it technically wasnt even their responsibility as opposed to the manufacturer which I was having difficulty with. They did everything in their position to make sure that I as a customer was capable of using my service and I must say that no other cellular service retailer has given me the same amount of attention and assistance as that which I received at the Verizon authorized retailer in Hollister. If it wasnt for the staff there Verizon wouldnt have retained me as a long term customer.

Just moved to Hollister and I had to upgrade a few phones in various times and I can’t begin to tell how great this location is. The customer service is always welcoming, even if they’re busy, I’ve never had a bad experienced here. Every time I call they always pick up and provide the proper information that I’m looking for. The manager, Alma makes the phone transfer time(30 mins) go by super fast, she’s professional, courteous, and knows how keep the customers entertained while we wait to get our phones updated. I highly recommend anyone to come through this location!

Fast forward to this afternoon and I walk in the store and my new homie Carlos literally says I got the perfect phone for you. This is one of the reasons I always go to Verizon here in Hollister. Every time I go in I get friendly and fast help with my issue. He carefully went over options. He told me I have several options, to either use my insurance or to take a great deal on a newer better phone. He was so honest and paitent. I decided to go with the new phone and he was amazing setting me up and getting me in and out very quickly with everything transfered and working. UPDATE: 6/ 14/19I needed help with my phone again. I believe the store manager helped me this time. Again the service was amazing and so fast, even with a software system not working(out of their control) I was still able to have what services I needed help with completed. This team is great, thank you for saving the day again!----------------------------------------------------------------Hayley is the absolute best! I have had trouble with my phone for months and she spent over two weeks helping me to find the solution to the problem. She is friendly, caring, and determined to help the customer with whatever their needs are. I hope I dont have to go back anytime soon for my phone however when I do I know I will return here and make sure Hayley is the one to assist me. I went in a few days ago to get details of plans (changing to Verizon from AT&T after 15+ years). Jasmin Caldera was very helpful. She took the time to explain the differences in plans, the specific phones and features I was looking for and let me see/touch/try some of the phones that were not on display. She has been great to reach out to via text even though I did not purchase anything in the store. Thank you Jasmin for the help! I will definitely ask for Jasmin when I need to go back into the store. (Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because of the terribly uncomfortable seating the store had. Let me start off by saying I had originally written a horrible review while waiting in line since me and 4 other people were waiting for about an hour and no one, not one person acknowledged us with even a Hey, well be right with you. Two more people walked in and out while we were waiting and also never got acknowledged.My long, original rant got deleted when I accidentally backed out of the review.However, my day was saved when a young lady by the name of Haley (I believe) went above and beyond to help me resolve my issue (which she couldve easily passed me on to over the phone support)I dont know where she stands on the management ladder but if she isnt up there already, I highly suggest they consider that.Only 3 stars because the customer service couldve been a lot better by just acknowledging and assuring the people waiting that we would be seen soon.But without the help of Haley it wouldve easily been a 1 star.

What a plesant store to go into i was greeted as i walked into the store and taken care of almost immediately. Luis G was awesome he was helping me guide my way through the phone reps at the main offices where every they may be located. They proceeded to tell me that i had to use my assurion to get a new phone when i had just gotten the phone less then 6 months ago he then told the lady on the phone that no this was a factory defect and that he needed someone else to help us. All told we had 3 different agents on the phone with us that day and im just glad Luis G was there to help with some of the frustration i have gone through in the past. I would recommend this store to anyone that asked me no its not a main hub for verizon but they still care about the customer.

Representatives are incredibly unprofessional, do not care to comprehend demands, and provide little to no assistance. I wanted to upgrade my phone, so I stepped in. The representative with whom I spoke seemed to be attempting to dissuade me from upgrading, as he kept expressing negative issues with the phone I wanted to upgrade to. I ultimately decided not to upgrade because of this. When I also asked him to update a line on my account, he told me to call Verizon at *611 rather than assist me there. Due to this experience, I became interested in moving to another provider as soon as I walked out of the store, despite being a long-time Verizon customer.

Horrible customer service. They would not install a warranty replacement screen protector claiming they dont install screen protector they dont sell. I bought the phone with the protector there a year ago. Go to another Verizon if you want service and courteous staff.

My phone was dying. Quick update. Got offloaded and backed up before it died. One issue: Kamana said he would give me a car charger for free since I had bought two accessories and the phone. I got home and discovered there was $36 I didnt need to spend. That sucked for a fixed income retiree and for working folks, 3 extra hours to work. Otherwise he was very helpful.

My phone started going haywire at 7:30 at night. I showed up at the Verizon store 5 before 8:00 not sure if they would help because they were just about to close. Not only did they help me but they went above and beyond. Tyler is the regional manager and he was the one that helped me. He was able to save everything on my old phone and transfer it plus get me set up with the new phone and showed me how to use my new phone since it was so different than my old phone. I didnt leave until 9:40 and they were still helping another customer when I left. I cant say enough great things about them.

I recently had the best experience here with Steven the manager. He was very helpful on my recent visit to just get help setting up some phones I ordered online and didnt even buy from Verizon. The fact that he took the time to transfer all of my data and showed me how to use my new phone and I dient even buy it there says alot about the level of service here. He also got me a great deal on accessories for the phones and showed me all of the discounts I qualified for on my plan. The other staff there were very helpful as well and since I was in there for a little while while my data moved to my new phone, I watched as all of the other associates we very nice and helpful to each customer that came in. I would rate the service at this store 10 stars if I could ! I will defenatly buy my next phone here as they showed me quotes with diffrent phones and discounts I qualified for and they didnt even have to. Best Verizon store I have ever been to.

On 9/6/20 I bought a iPhone 11 in Watsonville. The Verizon store sold it to me said its easy to activate and transfer my information from my old phone. They have a hands off policy due to Covid. They wont touch your phone, meaning they wont help you! On 9/7/20 I went to the Verizon store in Hollister, as I couldnt get my phone to activate, with the limited information I had received the day before. I walked in and was met by Isabel Villagomez she was the most helpful and understanding employee my wife and I have met in a long time. She got my phone working in a short period of time. I then purchased a iPhone 11 for my wife based on her knowledge and helpful nature.

She is an awesome agent, knowledgeable about the products, set me up with the phone of my choice, made sure I got any discounts available, allowed me to go to dinner while she transferred data from my shattered phone to the new one and answered every one of my questions. Next morning, I encountered a few new issues/questions and Verizon representative Joaquin was just as professional and helpful. He ended up not putting me on the Bogo deal and put me on a higher plan than he promised, also charged me for a third line I never had. Ive been with this Verizon store since it opened. Ive always gotten excellent customer service. My son came in from SC where the salesman wouldnt even talk to him about the prepaid plans. He was sold a plan that was too expensive and it took them 2 hours to activate the phone. We went in here and with in a short period of time they explained the prepaid plan, activated his phone, gave him the sim card for free and told him to call customer service for a refund on the other plan. Now he and his wife have service and a data plan for both of them that costs less than what the other guy sold them. Kudos Hollister Verizon!

Not happy at all. I went in to buy a Jetpack and they sold me three-generation old technology - a model thats listed as no longer available on the Verizon website. Fortunately a friend pointed this out to me. The store manager claimed that hed never heard that, and that the old model is better than the new one. They agreed to sell me the newest model, of which they only had one in stock. Weirdly, it wasnt even in Verizon packaging, and it also didnt work when they tried to set it up, so I didnt buy it. The guy who I got, unfortunately, went in the back with my phone for a second. When he returned he said the charge portal was damaged and it would cost about 200. I said Did you check it? I wrote an unfavorable review on 12/30/19 and it appears to have been taken down.I purchased a Bogo deal from Tim M on Black Friday and was promised 3GB, and $400. In gift cards for switching carriers. The next day I was told by Tim M, no Bogo, and no $400 in gift cards. I felt somewhat trapped because they would not return my old phone to me.After spending several more hours in the store, I was told I would get the Bogo but no $400 in gift cards. The store manager Thomas C said he would take off the $40 pp activation fees and he put that in writing.After speaking with customer care I found out that Verizon does not even have a 3gb plan and I needed to pay more for data and pay the activation fees on my bill or lose service. I would have to get the promised fees back from the store.I have visited the store with my written promise from the manager, called and spoke to Thomas C. on 12/21/19 and he said check is in the mail. As of today 1/11/19 still nothing.My experience makes me suspect that all of the glowing reviews are not real

For under 700 (i was having a work emergency and work had sent me to go buy a phone that wasnt a smartphone and was on the Verizon network, just to protect a property out in the mts ) i left . went to target bought a actual verizon phone 45 dollars 10 dollar SIM and 40 dollar activation . 95 dollars plus tax in and out of the store and activated faster than the time I spent here waiting to be turned away. Lets hope this is a results may vary case . Ill never personally return

Ok so let me explain my situation - I switched my mothers line from a business account she had to my personal account. I wanted to upgrade her phone (android to apple) so thats what I went to go do. Two weeks ago I went into the Verizon store in San Jose - they said because it was a a contract that priced the phone at a low rate they couldnt NOT terminate the contract - EVEN IF I PAID FOR IT. Mind you the contract is over next month. It just didnt make any damn sense to me. They Said I either had to WAIT or buy the new phone outright, no termination option. Yesterday I went into the Verizon store in Hollister and Hayley Coulter helped me out. I told her my situation and she said well get it done. WOW, as a GM and business man thats how you take care of business. We sat down she called to get the line terminated and the representative that terminates lines was hesitant and unsure about the process so Hayley and I called again hoping wed contact with a different rep and we did. Within 5 minutes she was able to explain to the termination rep and they were able to cancel the line with ease! NO early term charges because the contract was over in a month and I was upgrading a new phone on an installment plan. I was able to get my mother a new apple XR and a 40mm series 4 Apple Watch (happy mothers day, right?). Plus I got myself a series 4, 44mm stainless steel Apple Watch. THANK YOU HAYLEY!!! SHE IS FREAKING AMAZING! and to the reps at the San Jose Verizon store... HOW BOUT DAT!? Yall need to learn a lil something from Hayley and the team.
