I went to Verizon today to get my flip phone hooked up correctly I was having a misfire with receiving text messages Jacob was so kindly helping me resolve the situation at hand however it took longer than what we both thought it would be Jacob was exceptional, nice, polite. I came in to the Verizon store in the Home Depot Shopping Center in Atascadero and experienced great customer service! Jacob Rivera, upgraded me to a new iphone 15 and was so knowledgable, patient and kind throughout the entire process. Jacob even helped me to activate my Bluetooth in my car. In my many years, I have been to many Verizon stores; but I have to say the customer service was off the charts. You can tell Jacob enjoys his work and hes very good at it!! Thank you again Jacob!!

Painfully slow employees, these two guys had the work ethic of snails. Zero efficiency, and simply couldn’t do anything. Watching them made me want to go straight to att or anywhere else. I basically worked a shift with them, it was that slow.

The only Verizon retailer store we go to on the Central Coast. Ive been in this store numerous times and every single time immediate service and assistance. This time Zach helped me pick out a new phone, get it setup and had to teach this old dinosaur a couple of new tricks ;p He also assisted my husband with a phone transfer and was just an absolute pro with everything.

Ruth at the Atascadero Verizon office went above and beyond to help us to get what we needed at an affordable price! Never have we ever had such an informed, attentive, patient Verizon employee assist us, and we have talked with many over the years. We were just passing through Atascadero on a trip - what a great experience. A few weeks later I had some questions about my bill, and I was able to call Ruth, and she stayed on while we worked through the issues with a National Verizon rep. She is truly an exceptional, caring person, and they are lucky to have her.

My husband and I recently bought new android cellphones from Verizon, first for my husbands phone at the downtown Atascadero store and mine at the Verizon store near Home Depot. Our experience at the downtown store was less than satisfactory, mostly because the girl there (cant remember her name) charged us for some type of Verizon insurance (she said for water damage??) without telling us, requiring me to go back and demand a refund. When it came time for me to replace my cell, I went to the Home Depot location, first calling to ck out options. I spoke to Marcus Velasquez who was a joy because he quickly got me a trade-in credit and then set me up with a new phone and protective cover, easy peasy, and it was almost exactly what he promised in our phone call, without trying to sell me other things or adding charges. Exemplary customer service! Later I couldnt get my voicemail to work, after working for an hour plus with an online rep who failed in the end to remedy my problem, so I went back to the HD location. I talked with Damian, another very wonderful employee. Damian tried and tried unsuccessly to get my voicemail working but explained that Verizon no longer permitted him to do what was necessary, telling me i had to go online again, ugh. At the last moment, however, he had an idea and by taking out my 5G sim card and reinserting it he managed to get my voicemail working!! No online rep would have been able to solve this so many cudos to Damian!! Bottom line, if you need Verizon help in Atascadero I urge you to visit this HD area Verizon store and not the downtown one.

My son & I went in to swap one phone out for another family phone AND to get me a new phone. Justin (from Santa Maria and Bakersfield) was kind, patient, and had a wonderful sense of humor throughout the entire two hour process. He also let us know that our phones were worth quite a bit of cash towards a trade-in on phones I was interested in, and was very knowledgeable about the features said phones. He took great care of us, and I could not have been happier suffering in his presence. His manager & his other co-worker were also taking excellent care of their customers during our visit (I was there long enough to stalk them throughout their entire check-out, too). All in all, this store has a great team to take care of anyone who walks in their doors.

I’ve been to quite a few Verizon stores, but never have I experienced this level of customer service! I came to the store on 6/19/20 with a smashed phone, needing a replacement. I was helped by Charlie who was very knowledgeable and helped explain the conditions of my previous warranty. Unfortunately my old phone was no longer under warranty and I would need to buy a new one or upgrade. Usually at this point I would expect sales pitches and pressure into buying a top shelf phone that I didn’t really need, at a premium price. Charlie asked me my budget and what I was looking for in a phone. He showed me all of the less expensive models and their pros and cons as well as other customer reviews. Ultimately I was sold on the IPhone SE, which I felt fit my needs perfectly. I was very happy with my purchase and the level of customer service I received! Charlie was great and the rest of the guys at this store were super friendly and professional as well! Would definitely recommend this Verizon location to others!

5 months ago Hector was very helpful, but I am moving my rating down now. Went in today needing help with an account and was not even acknowledgd for 15 minutes. When one representative finally walked past me and asked if I needed something, I got nothing but but attitude. Was informed that, if I didnt have a simple question, then he would have to go into my account, which he, and I Quote, did not have time for, and then walked away from me. This representative whose name I did not get, spoke to me as if I was a child. All other employees were busy talking to other clients about their family planning classes they had taken or old buddies they knew. Place had been very good, will not be going back again.

Dont Trust this place.I went to get an upgrade and I was told I was getting a certain amount for my trade in phone and I didnt I got way less and I was not informed.I was told there was a promotion where they wouldnt charge me activation fees and they did.I was told that with the money that I got for my trade in I could I apply it to a phone case and that didnt happen. I got charge for the phone case.I ask to speak with the manager but I was told they dont have one, that know one is in charge and they couldnt help me.So finally I called the 800 number to reach out to Verizon and I got the help that I needed.They also told me that they were having alot of issues with the store.Careful with this Verizon store, Do Not Trus them.

Atascadero has more than one location for Verizon. Because Ive had a bad experience at one of them I wont recommend it but the one I will recommend is the Verizon store located near Home Depot on the north end of town. It was time to upgrade my phone and the customer service I received at the Verizon store near Home Depot was excellent. I purchase my new phone there and I have had it for a few weeks now it is one of the LG products and has different applications and ways of functioning over my old phone. I had a few questions so I went in today and JR helped me out answering all of my questions in a very friendly and professional way. The two visits have both been excellent and so I would have say that if you have had unsatisfactory service at other Verizon stores try this one out and Im sure you will Come Away as a happy customer.

Went to get a phone activated from Christmas. The salesman, (he said he was one of the managers) started tearing my old phone apart. He took a razor blade to the screen protector and then he informs me hell give me $80. trade in. Now I never asked for trade in value on my old phone, he just did it without asking. I informed him I didnt want to trade it in. His response, snotty, well what are you going to do with it?Ive been into this store before and had a good experience. Having been their twice recently I can confirm their staff is both extremely helpful and determined to answer your questions. Tedrick was very Pleasant, Patient, and Helpful with my Husband and I. He helped us work through an issue that was keeping us from proceeding with our upgrade. Tedrick got on the phone with a Verizon customer service representative and they worked through the problem and got it solved. Our experience didnt feel like the normal car salesman situation. Tedrick informed us of their top sellers and then allowed us space and time to decide what we wanted, and did not try to talk us in to what he thought we should have. We were in there for 3 hours (due to the problem we had to work out) and left feeling like Tedrick was family and are now enjoying our Note 10 Plus & MotoZ4 THANK YOU TEDRICK ! My husband bought me a new Verizon cell phone online. We went to the Atascadero Verizon store on Sat July 27 to have it activated from my old phone to this new one. An employee named Greg questioned me in a curt manner Where did you get that phone? I answered him and then at first he said yes he would switch my old phone to the new one. Then he said no I cant do that. I asked him why and told him I had done that before but he just said no youll have to go to a corporate store and they may not do it for you either. Then he looked at his phone as if I was not there. There was another employee working that day but he was busy helping the other 2 customers in the store. The people at this store are amazingly helpful. I was shopping at the nearby Home Depot and cut myself on a piece of sheet metal. When I went to the Verizon store to pick up my phone, one of the staff asked why my arm was wrapped in paper towels. When she saw my injury, she told me she had a nursing background. She sat me down, went into the back room to grab the employee first aid kit, and then fixed me all up. Verizon not only fixed my phone at no charge, but gave me better care and at a lower price than I wold have received at the local emergency room!

First off, I want thank Santina Carillo for the amazing customer service she provided me. My iPhone crashed while I was on duty at my fire station and the morning I got off shift I had to head out of state to attend a family member’s funeral. I was pressed for time and showed up to this store a half hour before they opened. To my pleasant surprise, Santina opened the door with a friendly smile and offered to help me right then. I have been to other businesses (Verizon stores included) prior to officially opening with workers inside just staring at me and telling me to come back later. Stopped at the Verizon store in Atascadero, CA, for help with my Pixel 3 Android. I was getting a phone message that my camera roll was full and I was unable to take any more photos. Tried several times to delete uneeded files to free up space but was unable to fix the problem. Asked for Courtneys help and within ten minutes Courtney had back up all my precious pictures on Google photos and she showed me how to access these on my Gmail account. Courtney gets an A+ and is a wonderful person that k ows how to handle complex Pixel 3 issues.
