While being employed full-time at one job I would always do my taxes myself using free services. I figured its best since I only had one form to file and it was simple enough. But then I moved states and started a couple small businesses, the overwhelming tax filing process was haunting, I knew I needed professional help and started looking for a solution. Dmitriy Velin came highly recommended by a couple of associates for business related taxes, business tax renewal and personal taxes and I contacted him for a consult. This is my second year doing business with them and Dmitriy personally, I cannot say enough good things. They did ALL of the filing for me, made the process easy and stress-free, answered all my (stupid) questions, explained everything that needed to be covered, sent me the copies immediately and forever removed my fear of tax season. I even filed early this year. Which I recommend doing, since they get crazy busy around the deadline for obvious reasons.

The team at Velin & Associates are the best! Dmitriy is a top-notch accountant who really knows what hes doing. Hes personable, easy-going, and incredibly knowledgeable. As a owner of a mid size business corporation I was fortunate to find Velin and Associates Inc. His office is nice and fresh, valet parking right in West Hollywood. The most important thing is these guys know payroll, corporate taxes and individual taxes. Dmitriy is always there to give me solid advice. I can discuss strategy, retirement, insurance etc and he always has a solution and/or advise.

I randomly picked Velin and Associates from the IRS web site because I had a Tax problem and they were close to my home. It turned out to be the best decision I made in 2019. Dmitriy is awesome, really knows his stuff and has given me some great Financial and Tax advice!

I have been working with Dmitriy and his team for the past two years to do my personal and business taxes. As a practicing dentist with a lot of expenses and overhead, its important for me to find someone who is good at communicating and is also efficient and attentive to detail. Him and his team are always ready to answer my questions and make sure I only pay exactly what I need to pay to the IRS. Really good accountant. Dmitry is trustworthy and knowledgeable CPA and tax accountant/tax preparer. I am in the entertainment business and have a corporation. He was very helpful with his consultation and set up of the business entities and in guiding me when my business needs some oversight and help. I am in Hollywood and vélin and associates inc is located in West Hollywood, so it’s very convenient to get there.He is pretty busy so I have to make appointments aahead of time.

Yeah definitely a five star business! My wife and I walked in today to do our 2015 taxes. We came in with just a mess of tax paperwork, we were missing some things, and I had Corporate Tax Paperwork. Dmitriy took the time to sort everything out including some very confusing Stock ownership Documents. We were there for a one hour appointment and ended up staying for three when another appointment didnt show. And Dmitriy worked through Lunch with us! By the time we were done with both our joint filing taxes and my Corporate taxes we went from thinking we were going to owe taxes to getting a refund. All because Dmitriy knew his stuff and didnt stop until we were sorted out. Thats outstanding service. We will definitely be back again and I will give my corporate accounting business. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, friends and family included.

For most, doing your own taxes can be complicated, messy, and stressful. My situation become even more complicated when the IRS began to tax gains made on cryptocurrencies and when I had to sign an agreement with a startup that involved shares I was to own. Thankfully, I found Dmitry to be a tremendous help! Hes very personable and provides a high-quality service I havent seen anywhere else. Solid account office. Dmitriy and his staff are well versed in both federal income taxes and California income taxes as well as multi state tax returns. When I came to Dmitriy for a paid consultation I moved from a different state had issues with prior tax returns and needed planning for the companies that I was a partner in and the new company that I was setting up. He was able to help me with all that came up.He was very responsive to my calls and my emails.
