Dr Takyar Is the best! Trying to figure out the issue I am having he is always available for me. Every time I message him, he immediately gets back to me. He suggested having a small procedure and it turned out great, Put me on some medication and everything is going very well. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

I had a pleasant first visit with Dr. Varun Takyar . I was referred to him by another specialist whom I trust with my health care. Dr Takyar didn’t disappoint me. He was very knowledgeable and professional in answering all the questions I had about my upcoming medical procedure. I felt at ease when I left his office. Actually his office staff and his medical assistant made me feel welcomed. I would definitely have no problem referring my family or friends to Dr. Takyar.Thank youSherry McKinney

Dr.Takyar is hands down one of the best gastroenterologist in the Bay area. Hes very knowledgeable and caring to his patients and is very accommodating. I highly recommend him .

I recommend Dr. Takyar. I like being able to have a video appointment instead of needing to go into the office, if not necessary. Each time it has been an informative discussion and his diagnosis and treatment seems to be working!!! He is very curteious, he listens, and a very much a people person, great bedside manners, even over a video call!

Finally a doctor who listens! I had a surprising experience; usually the doctors come in, look at the computer while you’re talking, prescribe a medication and leave.Not Dr. Takyar, he listens, shared his screen with me to explain what was going on, and then he sat there looking at me while explaining the course of action. I wish all doctors were like that.Thank you doctor Takyar!

I absolutely love this Dr. ! I was mortified that I had to go, however the level of service I received was top notch! The people taking appointments the office staff to the medical assistant to the Dr, my visit was absolutely low stress! If you need a GI DR go to Dr.Takyar! He is thorough and explains everything!! Great Dr!

Dr. Takyar is a great doctor who has gone to great lengths to help me with my GI struggles and symptoms. Hes very patient and thorough and his team of nurses and assistances have spent many hours working with my insurance carriers. He works closely with UCSF doctors for referrals and guidance when needed which has helped me tremendously. We still have more work to do but Im confident in Dr. Takyar and am thankful for his guidance and support.
