Michael & Rosa, founders and principals partners of Van Parys Architecture + Design, are expertly versed in all the timeless classics of architecture and design, yet they skillfully balance sophistication and trend, remaining subtly elegant at all times.When I first arrived at Van Parys Architecture + Design, I questioned how one firm could do more than one thing well (the old adage). As I familiarized myself with their studio, it became apparent that they do, indeed, do many things well - multifaceted; with integrity and without compromise. Their skill, artistic insight and capabilities are outstanding; ready to promote our initial ideas, take them to the next level, be the innovators that they are and that we need, or delicately suggest ways to scale some of my overreaching ideas back into the budget.We have never felt like ‘just another client’ with the Van Parys team. They have taken the time to know us personally; a bit of our history, our family, our passions, and our experiences. Their genuine interest fuels their creativity and vigor for the project and the take away is clear, from design to execution. Disclaimer: COVID has kept our plans from reaching the ‘execution’ stage, but with patience and their drive for solution, Michael and Rosa are helping to reimagining our project, realign it within our needs and reassess without hesitation, all while continuing to generate excitement, inspiration and options.Importantly, I have had the pleasure of working with the entire staff and of meeting the Van Parys extended family. I’ve seen that Michael & Rosa, like us, consider family sacred. We were already almost one year into our big remodeling project when we realized that it was not working with our current architect and decided it was time to reconsider things. It was stressful period because this experience told us that choosing the right architect partner is instrumental for the success of such sizable endeavor. We were incredibly lucky to be referred to ‘Van Parys Architecture + Design’ and we realized that as soon as we pushed the door of their office. During our first meeting with Rosa and Michael, we were impressed by the positive energy, the sheer design vision, and the constant creativity. We, therefore, decided to hire ‘Van Parys Architecture + Design’ to manage our remodel from cradle to grave, i.e. from first architectural drawings to final interior design. And I must admit that this experience is second to none. Throughout the process we realized ‘Van Parys Architecture + Design’ global vision and followed all their recommendations. It has been a constant flow of creative design solutions, which makes our house uniquely fitting our personality and so different from anything we have seen so far.We were also pleasantly surprised by the knowledge of the whole team, always providing great feedback or advice.I wholeheartedly recommend ‘Van Parys Architecture + Design’ for all the architectural and design needs.

Rosa Van Parys and Diane Amirian have been directly responsible for several professional projects in our home as well as my 9,000 Sq Ft Office Space. The design concepts and schemes have been beyond innovative and simply magnificent. As a Business Manager my office needed a unique concept. The design implemented a fusion of all areas within the Entertainment Industry that accommodated my various and diverse range of clients. When clients come in for meetings they tend to walk the entire office to view the entire concept. The same innovation and uniqueness has transcended to our home as well. So many are in complete awe when they visit our home and enjoy scrutinizing the detail involved in the overall design and contents. Thank you again Rosa and Diane for the vision that you possess. My experience with VPA+D was fantastic. Im writing this as a vendor, which is a bit different- although, I tend to think how people do one thing-they do everything. I worked with Riley and Diane on a pretty demanding project that required lots of communication relative to complex design. They communicated their/the clients needs very well, making the process very easy and really helped during difficult moments to keep us in the project. Great team. It has been a pleasure to work with VPA&D on two remodels in the past seven years. My family and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Rosa and Michael are a dynamic and talented couple with a creative team that transformed our dated houses into stylish, timeless, warm and comfortable homes.Our renovations were quite extensive involving kitchen remodeling, adding a master suite, adding and redesigning bathrooms, replacing a staircase and fireplaces, raising ceilings, opening up rooms, leveling floors in addition to decorating all these spaces. Their designs were artistic and innovative, contemporary while keeping the integrity of our homes and always addressed our budgetary constraints.Rosa is not only a gifted designer, she is a personable and genuine individual. Her ingenuity, creativity and vision are beyond description. She listens and tailors her unique designs to meet our needs and lifestyle. She and her team are always flexible and able to adjust with alternative plans or resources if needed. She seamlessly incorporated many of our furnishings from one house to the other even though the styles were quite different.There are so many important decisions to be made when remodeling...it’s very reassuring and gives me peace of mind to have professionals I trust to guide me in the right direction saving time and costly mistakes. It’s really quite an exciting and rewarding experience to work with experts like VPA&D!

After 15 years of living in our home (built in the mid-90s), we decided it was time to remodel. Our goals were to update the interior decor/finishes, add or increase the size of some rooms (e.g., add a gym and office, increase the size of the master bedroom closet, add a bar and wine wall, etc.), and create an indoor/outdoor flow since we live close to the ocean (e.g., disappearing walls, floors that run from inside to out, etc.). After talking with several designers and architects, we went with VPA and are very happy with our choice. We are close to finishing the design phase and soon will be applying for permits, HOA approval, and so on. The design came out much better and different than we imagined going into the process. Through the initial consulting period we realized we were drawn towards a warm contemporary style (i.e., modern but not cold). VPA helped us achieve this design both on the interior and exterior in a way we believe will be modern but timeless. Each room is designed to our specific needs and will enhance the way we live. We love working with owners and thats what we get with VPA (Rosa and Michael). But they also have a terrific staff that helps with different aspects of the project. We are more excited now than when we started. Once we get through construction well post again. Stay tuned!!!

I chose Rosa Van Parys and Van Parys Architecture to design the interiors of my home. They were incredible to collaborate with and my home is stunning ! Everyone who has come to my home comments on how beautifulit looks and it is especially comforting to have a beautiful space to enjoy in these trying times !
