This was a pretty cool exhibit! We werent really sure what to expect, but it turned out to be really fun! Pay the $5 to do the virtual reality at the end, it was worth it. We went on a Thursday at 7pm and there were only 4 other people there, it was great!

I have been wanting to go to this exhibit for a while now and I am glad to finally have experienced it! The main room and show was amazing. I went on a Saturday where there was maybe only 10 other people and at one point had the showroom to myself to enjoy. The VR experience was absolutely worth the additional $5!My only complaint was allowing children to freely roam, run and scream throughout the rooms.

Really cool exhibit with great information on Van Gogh but it definitely was a lot smaller and more underwhelming than I expected. The immersive areas looked much larger and cooler in photos. There’s a lot of art and interesting information on Van Gogh, but it’s a bit overpriced. We liked the 3D effects of his art. We got through the entire “experience” in less than an hour.

Beautiful exhibit. I thought the team that put the digital imagery together with the sound tract should win an award for creativity. Spectacular experience. We had lots of room to move around to view the exhibits. Plenty to watch, read and interact with. The video room was very large with chairs, benches or round rugs on the floor to watch the art come to life. Nice gift shop with reasonable prices on all things Van Gogh.

If youre looking for an incredible, art-filled excursion that will leave your head spinning and jaw dropping then Van Gogh Experience in West Sacramento is the place to go. Wander through walls of artwork with projected sculptures of his paintings adding extra sensory dimensions while marveling at a spectacular wall featuring intricate sunflowers. Dont forget the immersive room where visions of van Goghs works cycle across every inch - truly mesmerizing! And if all this isnt enough there are still options available such as coloring activities (with those creations getting blasted up onto screens!) or virtual reality experiences too ($5). No need for VIP tickets here either because lines typically don’t form around this entrancing exhibition – just pure unadulterated enjoyment awaiting inside!

It was really cool to see and learn about the famous artist. There’s statues with projections on them. There is also prints of a lot of his famous works as well as plenty of information about pieces and the life of Vincent. There’s a replica of his bedroom also based of the paintings of course but it’s to scale and you are permitted to walk inside and look around just don’t touch anything. There’s also a VR experience at the end but we didn’t do that and also a gift shop and a room with chairs and cool things to look at. They offer a 15 dollar valet service but there’s parking close by as well.

What a well put together exhibit. We spent a couple of hours browsing the artwork, reading the history, and sitting in a chair in the immersion experience- which was very cool. We got the VIP tickets and did the VR at the end, and that was just over the top. It was like stepping inside of some of Van Goghs most famous paintings. A must see!

Awesome place! Its small but if you give it a chance and immerse yourself with the history and art it has to show its actually becomes much bigger than before. Truly enjoy yourself here and take your time going through everything. I loved how much I learned about Van Gogh & seeing into his mind. Id go again so I can relive everything. It was very therapeutic and relaxing.

I give them an A- for ingenuity & imagination, but a C for execution. There are segments where audio is spoken simultaneously with text, and theyre unrelated to each other. It was hard to decide which to pay attention to. Plus, the audio voices were too low in volume to break through the music. (Wonderful music choices, BTW.) Lastly, I couldnt use the APP during the tour. It said my phones version of Android was incompatible. And my phone isnt very old.

Well done although Im not much for art. easy to get to and a large buliding so theres plenty of room, not crowded at all and we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Interesting story of a great talent trapped with a tortured soul. Parking is really poor, valet is convenient but $20 😖 yeah it was pleasantly cool inside on nice day.
