Ive taken multiple dogs there over the past 20 years and always enjoyed the experience. And they must give good advice because I have a pretty healthy 13 year old German Shepherd 🙌

I had gone here for 9 years and ended up changing vets due to them deciding to require a deposit without notice and cancelling my puppies appointment only a few days before his appointment due to them scheduling this appointment a month before without taking a deposit. I had missed appointments due to being sick or canceled due to being sick the office manager was rude when I tried talking to her about it and went in for the records for my pets. I recommended them to many friends and family members over the years and will absolutely no longer recommend them under any circumstance due to this.

Great bedside manner ; presents options for services like treatments. I chose shots and heart worm 🪱 medications for safety. And rescheduled chipping and spaying for next month. Very pleased with friendliness and choices 😀

Waited over 2 months to get my dog in. Been going here over 10 years Im done! If you didnt pack us in to tight we wouldnt have to wait so long to get in, Maybe less appointments would be missed. I used to recommend this place even though I was told its more pricey than others.

Been taking my bulldog for skin issues to other veterinarians since January. Finally switched to vvc. The vet was very sympathetic and listened. I also feel they were very thorough in their testing. They even requested his medical records from the other vet.

We love all of the doctors at Valley Veterinary Clinic, from my older hell cat who hates pedicures to the youngest bebe who I found with some respiratory issues. Every vet is awesome, all of the techs Ive met are compassionate and caring. Theyd be perfect if they offered quantity discounts!

My 19 year old cat there several times for Digestive issues. Hes had all the diagnostic tests 3 years ago and I brought him back today for the same issue. They have a great staff good Drs. And they tell you whats wrong and laid out several options for me, not real expensive either Ive been to a lot worse.

Absolutely the WORST vets office I have ever been to. I had a fairly new born kitten that there was something clearly wrong with. So I took her to this establishment and asked to have her be seen as its an emergency. Then to have the front desk lady tell me that because we arent an established patient with them that they couldnt do anything to help us, even though it was an emergency. Not even see her for a moment and decide whether she needed to be put down so she wasnt in pain. They told me to go to the Cottonwood Pet Clinic because they will see her. By the time we got up there she had meowed her last meow and was gone by the time we got her into the backroom to be checked over. Thanks for being the most useless veterinarian office in existence and for ruining my day.

Have taken all of my cats to them for about 20 years was always happy with the service. On Monday they told me they couldnt euthanize my 19 year + cat, but I could make an appointment for next month. When I shared my experience with my mom, she related to me that they told her that they werent taking new patients when she had the same issue with her ancient cat, she had been going there 30+ years. They told her because she hadnt brought an animal in since COVID started she was considered a new client.

The staff here are AWESOME. You can tell they love to provide the best care for your pet. They are very caring and will give you all the information to make the right decision for your pets health. I had to make the tough decision to euthanize my beautiful 9 yr old Doberman, Roxy in April 2018. It was such a hard decision as she was suffering from cancer. The staff and Dr. Fox were so compassionate and caring. Her last moments were calm and peaceful and the staff were so understanding. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a clinic with compassionate, knowledgeable staff and prices that wont break your budget.

This vet is great! I really like them. We just got a check up and shots for our dog there.They were very friendly, thorough and informative. They gave us lots of info specific to our dogs particular health concerns. They have very reasonable prices as well.I also had to have a cat put down there awhile ago. Its how I found them. Im a 200 lb 61 guy, but I still teared up a bit. The vet lady gave me a hug and was sincerely empathetic. We received a condolence card a few days later. These guys really care!

I have brought all my pets here, since moving to town and being referred 3 years ago. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. Im never talked down to, or rushed out. My animals have been handled with care and compassion. The vets and techs are knowledgeable, professional, and quick! I always get into my appointments shortly after arriving, am promptly taken care of and expediently checked out, but never rushed! Theyre always happy to answer questions, even over the phone. My bills are reasonable, Im never upsold stuff I dont need. I love that the couple of times I needed a drop-in emergency appointment, they made room for me with no fuss.Ive had my fair share of shady, rude, sloppy, extortionist vets. I took my friends dog in to be seen and the staff was very friendly and sweet to the animals there. They have a super sweet and cool kitty that roams around and you can pet him. He is a character! Great staff! Very clean office and outside is clean too. They did a wonderful job!

Consider this a 10-Star rating!!! These folks were on lunch break and yet helped us with an emergency. We were traveling through the area when we discovered our dog had a tick buried into her shoulder. We sort of freaked as we have no experience with this. They helped us right away by extracting the tick (head and all) and applying a topical antiseptic. The cost was minimal. We wish they were in our town, they treated us so well!

After back and forth three years with this vet, I eventually changed to another vet, as pet owner, three years my dog has the same sensitive skin issues all year around, I know what works for his sensitive skin after giving him with all your prescription medicines since 2020. But they wont listen to the pet owner, they just do the same checking and prescription again and again for every time I took my dog there for the same skin issue.One way, they are doing their job, on the other way, as pet owner, I want a more efficient and affordable vet for my dog.

What can I say about the best Vet in town? They are caring, loving & compassionate. They help think about our pets needs & our own needs. 10 years ago, they saved a beautiful abused dog from death row & helped us to adopt him. Thats a love of animals, they truly care!! One night our other dog became extremely sick after hours & was dying from some type of poison or something & they worked so very hard & saved her life. They love our animals & treat us as family whenever we visit. They will be our Vet for life!! We love the entire Valley Vet staff. They have very big hearts!!

Our experience with Valley Veterinary, the doctors and the staff has been nothing less than exceptional in the 10 years we have been taking our pets to their Clinic. We feel like we are regulars. Our Spaniel/Dachshund mix, Reggie, was up there in years when we were first referred to Valley Vet, and now, I cant imagine taking our Pomeranian, Kurbie, and our rescue Pom, Tillie, anywhere else. The care they receive is outstanding, they go above and beyond, and we always feel like our needs are met as well. Everyone is always attentive, kind and compassionate. Like an extended part of the family.

Went here for my cat and hes been sick for a while. He had a very big rip on his upper gums and they didnt seem to notice at all because they didnt say anything. They did give him all of his shots. You cant go inside either, you have to wait outside or go somewhere else. I dont trust these people anymore for not noticing the injury. In an emergency, I might. But only if it is something that doesnt require surgery as they seem careless. They should be embarrassed for missing the injury. Not noticing an injury this bad can be the difference of not noticing possible abuse of animals which should be part of what a vet should do. These doctors have to take more school than it would to be a doctor for a human. Something as simple as a mouth sever should have been one of the first things they noticed. Will not waste our money here in the future even as nice as the staff were.

The staff here are wonderful, caring people who truly love animals and it shows! Our 8yo Lab/pit mix, Lilly, required emergency surgery, actually life threatening. They worked with us on payment arrangements and took wonderful care of Lilly.. She came thru it all just fine and is better than ever physically. I have taken my animals to Valley Veterinary Clinic for years. The staff is very welcoming from the moment you enter the building. They truly care about you and your furry family members. The doctors are wonderful and highly skilled. They practice the most recent medicine from studies and bring it down to a laypersons level. They give you choices and recommend what will work for your animal from a practical standpoint. They dont order and run tests, labs, and x-rays that are not needed. The doctors care about their patients and love what they do which is evident from the way they practice. I can recommend these health care providers for your pets without hesitation.

They have always been correctly diagnosed and treatment started right away...in some more critical illnesses, or injury I have received calls from the Vets to see how our animal was doing, making sure the treatment was working well.. My diabetic cat had seizures and I knew he would not recover from them. I did not want him to suffer anymore and drove the 50 miles to end his suffering. From the call to confirm they were open and all the time I was there before and after his passing I was given such kindness. I felt they made his comfort a priority and explained things before and during. The young lady at the front desk gave me a hug and brought me a glass of water. I was so heart broken to lose my wonderful cat Tater, my constant companion if only.12.5 yrs.Thank you VCA for your help and kindness.

Dr. Fox was compassionate and empathetic with the extremely hard decision of having to put down my dog that Ive had for almost 13 years. It was a complete shock to me and everything happened so I fast. She was patient, understanding, supportive, and most of all treated my baby as if it was her own. Getting him euthanized was the hardest thing Ive ever had to do and Dr. Fox understood my rollercoaster of emotions and me losing full control over keeping myself together. She even had a few tears during this process. Dr. Fox thank u so very much for taking care of my baby Yako. U were a big part of me being able to work up the strength to get through it. Please dont ever lose your passion for these animals and that big heart u carry on your chest.I highly recommend Dr Fox to anyone that loves their animals so much and only want the best for them.

Maybe also have a multi pup discount as well.. at other vets they do things like 50 for first pup 25 every other pup after that.But they do know what theyre doing, and they are very professional!

I have used different Veterinarians with the dogs that I have owned. My current dog developed an eye problem, and I took him to Valley Veterinary as they were kind enough to make time for him. I can not say enough about the staff and doctor who treated my dog. Valley Veterinary Clinic goes out of their way to make sure your animal is treated as if they owned it. They listen to your concerns and will answer any question you have. I have taken my dog to them several times and each time, it is the same. I just feel so at ease there. I can only say that I would highly recommend their service and as long as I own animals, they will be my first choice for providing medical care for my animal.

Actually, for me, one of the ladies is family, and I am proud of her. She fits right in with the Valley Vets family. Doctors Hill, Fox and Hamilton have always been concerned, compassionate and professional, dispensing advice and answering questions freely with every visit. We have been going to Valley vet for years, I am beyond dissapointed/mad right now. We have a dog that got stung by a bee on the roof of his mouth and he collapsed and lost bowel function as well as throwing up. We live right around the corner and decided when he lost bowel function it was serious enough he needed to be seen. We were sitting outside and he couldnt even stand up. I called and was told that they had appointments back to back and couldnt see our little guy, 10lbs btw. Wouldnt even come out to check on him. Said we needed to go to a walk-in or emergency clinic in anderson or maybe Redding! We live right around the corner in red bluff. Needless to say without their help he is doing okay now, but seriously, an appointment couldnt be rescheduled. I know if it was me with an appointment for one of our pups, if there was an emergency with someone elses dog I would have given my appointment up in a heartbeat. I guess now I will be getting all their records and finding a new vet!!!!!To whomever wrote me back,Please dont use Covid-19 as a way to make this a reason why no one would come out and look at my pup. The fact is I seen another employee come out and get a dog that was walking and seemed 100% okay. As for my perception it was an emergency and I was sitting right outside with my pup who couldnt even stand up and the response I got from the person on the phone was that I needed to go somewhere else because they had appointments backed up. This was not a perception but in fact the reality of the situation that happened. I already called and asked for both my pups records to be sent to Red Bluff Vet and I would appreciate that being done immediately so I can get my pup tested for allergies to bees since his reaction was not a normal one. I have a cat who doesnt like people and is scared of everything and they dont treat her any different than my overly friendly cat. If you have a pet, Valley Veterinary Clinic is the place for you. From the staff to the doctors everyone is pleasant, friendly, loving and compassionate. We have been clients of Valley Vet for 10 years and have always been pleased. The doctors thoroughly explain any procedure they will be performing. We recently lost our German Shepard which they had been treating for many ailments. As much as we were devastated, they too were upset with his passing. These are the types of individuals you want treating your beloved pet.

He was having some problems, so I did some research on the internet and read about Valley Vet and all their staff and decided this is where I want to take him. I saw Dr. Hill..she was great, very caring and totally committed to helping Joey. I could not have ask for better service..from the time I walked in to the time I left. Our recent trip to Northern California included two vet visits. This one was due to our dog eating something like 3/4-lb of mint chocolate fudge - oops! We were passing through Red Bluff and called Valley Veterinary, which I chose because we got off I-5 on Antelope. They met us at the door and took her back to make her vomit. They took wonderful care of her and of us and did a followup call a few days later. If we lived in Red Bluff, we would definitely make Valley our vet.

We have been going to Valley Vet for around 18 years. They have always taken great care of our dogs. It became even better when Dr. Fox-Chow joined the staff in the late nineties right out of UCD Vet school. Shes the brightest most dedicated DVM we have ever had. We went through some difficult times with a Dogo Argentino who got cancer at 7, but Dr. Fox took great care of him and he lived to be 12. A Great Dane we had only lived to be 2.5 years old and had to be put down due to a rare neurological condition. Dr. Fox spent here own time researching and trying everything she could to help Mojo, but nothing could be done.Fortunately, Dr. Fox-Chow purchased Valley Vet several years ago and has made many improvements to the practice. Ive been using them for several years now and they have always been courteous, caring and professional, and their fees are reasonable. They have at least three doctors on staff and several technicians, and they are all very knowledgeable. On several occasions, they have responded to my emergency calls in the middle of the night - even on weekends - to do surgery or whatever was required.
