I have been a patient at VOI since 2009 when Dr Taylor did surgery on my broken femur.Dr Taylor is not only very competent, knowledgeable and professional, he is also very friendly, really interested in his patients and a kind human being.Dr Shah is very helpful, patient and takes his time to answer questions and address concerns. He did surgery on both my hands and I am very happy with the outcome. This is a doctor you can trust.I recommend this office and its friendly personnel to anyone who needs orthopedic services without hesitation!

I had a great experience with Dr. Shah and his office. I was on time for my appointment and only had to wait a few minutes in the waiting room before being called. I was in the exam room for less than two minutes before Dr. Shah came in. He was very professional and took the time to answer all my questions about the issue I was having and the treatment he proposed. I highly recommend Dr. Shah !

Doctor Shah was very kind to my 3 year old son who fractured his radius mildly. He showed me the x-ray and explained it a few times as I wasn’t seeing anything. The staff was also welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic staff and Dr.! My little one broke her arm and they squeezed us in same day and were so gentle with her so that she wasn’t scared of the process. I had to have more than one Dr. note for school with specific verbiage, and they accommodated each time so she could get back to school. They went above and beyond! Thank you Valley Ortho!

All I can say is WOW! Never have I been to a doctors office on time and the doctor was ready for me as soon as I checked in. I was filling out my information on a tablet as I was prepped for the x-ray. Usually you have the initial meeting to discuss the issue and they set up another appointment for the procedure. This was my first visit to VOI, we discussed the issue and the why and now what AND then they did the procedure. A wonderful new experience. If I could give them 10 stars I would and will highly recommend them to family, friends, and everyone.

I have had multiple appointments at Valley Orthopedics and have always had a positive experience. Dr. Taylor has been my doctor for my knees as well as shoulder or hip issues, he is always so personable and gives you time to ask questions. I highly recommend Valley Orthopedics! This surgeon was highly recommended to me, not only by friends- but also by my regular doctor, Deborah Rice. He is thoughtful, friendly, evidently genuinely concerned for the whole patient. When I came to see him for an issue with my hand, I was still recovering from internal injuries from a car accident. He had me wait until completely healed, so that the injection would not slow down my recovery. Yesterday I finally took care of it. I appreciated knowing exactly what to expect and even had the option to watch via ultrasound screen. Dr. Shah is an expert without being an egotist.

Preparation for the surgery was minimal. I had to keep calling myself to get information and pre-op instructions. Once I called, they were very helpful however. On surgery day, staff at Oasis Surgery Center was wonderful. Dr. Taylor is an excellent surgeon.

Treated for trigger finger and arthritis. Nothing major but Dr. Shah administered cortisone to my knuckle multiple times with no pain and it works like magic. Drastic difference before and after so I hope it lasts. Ill definitely be back.

Dr. Shah is a very personable, honest and skilled surgeon. I’m still recovering but am quite happy with his work on my massive rotator cuff tear repair. The VOI front office and support staff are very friendly and attentive. They communicated clearly with me throughout the process and worked with my schedule to make everything work for me. I arrived early and started on my new patient paperwork, before I was even half way through I was called back to the exam room. Dr Taylor came into the room a minute later and started his examination of my shoulder and reviewed my x-rays and MRI. He was able to determine quickly what was needed to repair my shoulder. I highly recommend Dr Taylor and Valley Orthopedic Institute.

I have been suffering with both left and right knee issues. Torn meniscus on right knee and 20 years of bone on bone left knee. Dr. Taylor and his staff have been the most professional caring and most knowledgeable in treating my issues. All options have been explained and understanding my concerns has helped me decide what is best for me with Dr Taylor’s expertise. I can’t say enough about his nurses the front staff always communicating and helping me. I’m 64 years old have had a very active life. Hearing from Dr. Taylor that I needed a hip replacement was a total shock for me. After my Physical Therapist reassured me that surgery was inevitable, I called his office in total Hysteria and this beautiful Angel, Melanie took the time to hear me out and calmed me down. She made sure that she talked to the doctor and called me back to give me an answer within minutes. I was so grateful for her kindness towards me. She changed my demeanor completely. I was running a bit late for my appointment, and the young lady at the front desk was so very nice and reassuring that I calmed down right away. The rest of the staff was so very professional, as well as efficient, kind and compassionate. When Dr. Shah came in to see me, he was also very caring and gave me a couple of options for treatment. In my opinion, he is one of those doctors that really cares for their patients, which put me at ease and total trust . I believe that Dr. Shah. and his staff definitely deserve 5 stars.

Dr Taylor and Jonathan are awesome. Everytime I go in to their office they always remeber me on whats happening other than my knee. They are personable, and I am VERY happy with my surgery results. Taking a little but to recover but I had 18 years of injury in there. All of your staff is very attentive and willing to help. I “celebrated” my 60th birthday by stumbling down my residence stairs injuring my neck, shoulder and back. I was referred to VOI (Dr. Taylor) by Urgent Care for evaluation and treatment. VOI staff is awesome, PT staff included. Dr. Taylor evaluated me, even conducted an in-depth inquiry into prior medical history to ensure he provided the best treatment. My condition improved significantly and while I’m still undergoing treatment I’m convinced I’ll be 100% before Dr. Taylor releases me.I would definitely recommend VOI and Dr. Taylor to anyone requiring the care of an Orthopedic specialist and their team.

My experience was very positive. I met with Dr. Taylor. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and explained everything to me. He took the time to show me some different exercises to alleviate aggravating my problem area which I found very helpful. The wait time was really minimal. The little time I was there I manage to hear her complain about patients, getting very angry, I also Hurd her give out personal information of patients out load. I heard her give out a patients name & social security while myself and other patients where in the waiting room. She doesn’t know how to speak to people she talks over you when you’re trying to explain yourself if you miss an appointment she gives you attitude and tells you “ you missed your appointment so know you have a late fee” Im sorry there is other ways to talk to people. She’s very load and obnoxious as well as unprofessional. After I’m done here I will never return for any future surgeries.

Severely broke my wrist in 2 places, and also did some challenges to the smaller bones in the hand itself. ER stabilized the damage, and sent me directly to Dr. Shah.Outpatient surgery, excellent stitch work by Dr. Shah, no scar. Excellent follow up, outstanding physical therapy. 4-5 years later, full strength, no pain, full mobility!Now I’m starting a physical therapy program regarding the damages done to my neck, from years of injuries; just living life to the fullest. I was seen very quickly, first by an xray tech who was very nice, a person taking info from me (not sure if she was a nurse) then a PA, and then the Doctor and PA. My only complaint is that they talk too fast and give you too much information all at once. Also, no one came to the room when all was done, and I could have used someone to help walk me out. I do feel better after starting the steroids, and look forward to PT.

I was so surprised and appreciative of how my appointment went. Generally one sets the appointment. As expected for being there for the first time, I had to submit all my pertinent medical paper work. But this time it was all done on an I-Pad that already had information in it. My expectations was once I submitted my paperwork, I would wait and to be seen by Dr. Shah. Go over my issues then getsent out to get x-rays. Then setup another appointment to evaluate my issues.Instead as I was filling out my information, an x-ray technician asks me to come with him. He takes the X-rays and then takes me to Dr. Shahs office. Within a few minutes of waiting and finishing my paperwork Dr. Shah comes in with x-rays in hand. We go over what issues I have and the options for treatment.I was literally there in and out within an hour and treatment was performed. He was very thorough on what what my issues were, and made my treatment choices very easy to make.The organization and process were extraordinary!!

I had a total knee replacement 8 weeks ago. I am so pleased with the results. I have had no complications. The communication with Dr. Taylor has been above and beyond. Main management has been effective, but responsible. Dr. Taylor is an outstanding orthopedic surgeon. I drove from the Inland Empire, so Dr. Taylor could do the surgery. He was well worth the drive. He would listen to my problems first and then he would give me suggestions or options and explain thing in a simple way what its about to happen in order for me to get better. He is extremly helful and I can trust him 1000 %. Im very lucky to have him as my surgeon for my hands. I dont know how to express or describe how nice and helpful he is in words. I’ve been a patient of Dr Shah’s for over three years now with numerous injuries due to one unfortunate event. The staff is super helpful with scheduling and there’s never a wait to be seen beyond a few minutes. Dr Shah has offered various treatments (when there were options) and I’ve never felt pressured into one treatment or another, including surgeries. He’s patient answering the many questions I’ve had and has continued to work with me to find a way to get me as back to normal as I’m going to be.I’ve also used VOI for physical therapy throughout this process. Valley Orthopedics gets a 10 out of 10 star recommendation from me!!! The staff in the front, behind the counter are always friendly, courteous, kind and professional! All of the nurses….the same…going above and beyond! Several years ago I nearly severed the first finger of my right hand….Initially I saw a fancy pants, egomaniac Orthopedic down in Los Angeles (who was a jerk) and told there was nothing to be done to fix my finger. Thank God a friend recommended getting a second opinion from Dr Shah! Dr Shah was easily able to identify the existing fracture and the severed tendon, scheduled an immediate surgery and thanks to his expertise saved my very important first finger and giving me full use of it!! CURRENTLY I have been under the care of Dr. Taylor…as a newly retired RN with almost 30 years of Nursing, I suddenly lost function of my left knee! I was in severe pain and unable to even stand from a sitting position. Instead of recommending a surgical repair, Dr Taylor’s recommendation was to try the least invasive treatment first…I have just completed treatment and am happy to report at least 75% improvement and am continuing to be seen by Dr. Taylor. Please excuse my very long narrative but I really wanted to convey my highest recommendations for this practice!!

I first saw Dr Shah after my injury in Dec 2021. My injury was Oct 2021. After getting xrays my thumb wasnt broke. I actually tore a ligament and needed rushed UCL repair. He had me do an MRI and rushed the surgery as I was close to 6 weeks and after that its hard to repair once healed. He was great and very tentative. I also did physical therapy and the staff were very nice. My son broke his Humerus bone over long weekend and now I have to get him into an orthopedic doc. I hope he gets treated the same.

Went in to see Dr. Shah yesterday 7June 2022 with my right thumb dislocated. In less than 5 min my thumb was almost as good as new. Just a little bit of pain and Dr. walked me through the pain. When called to make appointment I was told they take Tircare insureance, but what they failed to inform to me was they are out of network with my insurance. Instead of having to pay copays I have to pay 25%. On top of all this Dr. Taylor was the most arrogant Dr. I have ever met. I tried to expain my situation and he cut me off and ddi not let me say anything. I doesnt matter what I had to say i need Phyical threapy for my knee. DUHHH, he would not let me explain I can not do Physical threapy for just my knee it will impact many of my other problem. He inforamed me he only cared about my knee and my other problems did not matter. On top of all this I asked abouyt pain Managment for my knee and I got a lecture on the opiod problem in america. He treated my like a junkie!!! this was truly unacceptiable to me, I spend 20 years in the militray and have many injuries because of it!!! I hope Dr. Taylor can learn form this and treat othre paitens with the respect they should recieve! I will never return to this office and have hesitation for anyone else needing an orthopedic!
