Plenty of parking. Its hard to identify the main entrance. Homeless around and under the building. Although they mind their own business it deters patrons. The library is large and has lots to offer. The librarians were not friendly but the lady in the makers was great.

This is the only public library Ive visited that has paid parking lots, with no free parking available. Additionally, many parking spaces are reserved for employees. Its clear that this place prioritizes its employees over the general taxpayers.Additionally, the nearby streets are littered with abandoned cars, and there are suspicious individuals roaming around. I don’t feel safe parking there. Very disappointed. Just stay away all together.

This library cares about the residents of Vallejo even the homeless who live down below the library. They are welcoming to all who do business here.

A well organized library with friendly staff, good light, and comfortable seating. I appreciate the free wifi from time to time when I need a quiet place to research.

We LOVE the library, and once you get inside this particular one is fabulous. However, getting into it is where it loses a star. The entrance way smells strongly of urine, and there are usually 3-5 homeless people hanging around outside. It doesnt feel safe, and we have started avoiding this library as a result.

I love this library. They always have great activities for my toddler. Even during the pandemic they were able to get some fun activity kits to us when we would come and get holds. Really personable librarians. Great selections because the network of locations are all connected. I love the new seed library, and will probably contribute to it. One of Vallejos most valuable resources.

Very nice atmosphere. I wish there were more books by Sarah J. Maas here. For anyone looking, her books like the Throne of Glass series is located in the young adult section. Love her novels!

If I could give 6 stars I would. They always have the books I want and will gladly hold one if you need it. They also have sooooo many activities for children in the summer. Also, during the year every week on the dot they have story time for toddlers. Its always clean and the staff friendly. Yes Vallejo can be perceived as a bad place but this place definitely punches above its belt when it comes to standards.

JFK library purposefully keeps building chilly, offers its an old building but the jerk who keeps programming the temp to 66* obviously doesnt adjust to blend the air conditioner to gently cool the place, so everyone gets to wear a thick coat just to use a PUBLIC library. Shameful! You can view the temp by the door. 10/9/21 the thermostat CLEARLY READS: 64*. There is no excusing this form of CRUELTY and anyone putting up with it, is obviously indifferent and uncaring. PERIOD.

Very spacious and has lots of computers. They just let every and any one in here, I really wish they DIDNT allow homeless or crackheads just sit in there all day and sometimes they are sleeping in chairs. Other than that its okay library

Love our JFK Public Library and love our librarians! Theyve worked so hard to keep us supplied with books, movies, and information throughout pandemic and they continue to work now that things are opening up.

I moved here a few months ago and visited this library in December and i have to say they are most welcoming compared to other libraries i have visited. Please continue, despite all the anger thats in our world today. Dont loose that kindness it is so needed now a days. Thank you📚📚😊😊

The parking is quite limited and the library seems dated both in building and reading material. Parking on the designated library lot is one hour if you can get a space.

Storytime on Thursdays at 10:30 am I bring my 9-month-old baby and I love this program, my baby is encouraged to crawl when he sees more children his age and on Saturdays Family Storytime my 7-year-old daughter loves playing and living together, it is more useful to them I really recommend them and have a nice time with the children.

Service by appointment during the pandemic by phone. Friendly staff willing to help if you dont understand how to locate something you need. Parking with electric charging for hybrid charging cars is not available at this time.

I bring my baby to family storytime. It is very useful for him. I love it because he has a lot of fun and has learned to live together a lot. They are on Saturdays at 10:30. I recommend them.
