First drivers test and was a bit nervous. Idk if my instructor was having a bad day or just talks like that but she walked up with an attitude. She was very snappy. She was like let me see ur papers and i was like sure there in the box right here and she was like whys it disorganized and i was like because i tossed them in here and they fell apart ig. Then she was like gimme these 3 papers and was just rude ash. I failed when i got to a light. I thought i ducked my head enough and thought it was green to turn left but she started freaking out saying what are u doing its red and i was like i thought it was green and she was like how old are u.. She made go back to dmv and said u did fine besides that error, handed me the papers and just walked off. I own the mistake and luckily it was a empty area with no cars but could work on attitudeEdit: im tall so thats why i say duck head

Remember when you used to go to the DMV and spend hours in line to get a good number and then hours waiting to be called? Remember when once you got called it felt like there could be no grumpier miserable person in the world? Well, that DMV no longer exists. I went looking to set up an appointment and discovered I could get in line before I even left the house. The system told me I was 5th in line. One mile and 8 minutes later I was finishing my transaction. Nice job Michelle for smiling and taking care of me.

I think most of the employees/staff do the best that they can. The atmosphere is much better than it was some years ago.

No much seating. They tell you to find a seat or wait outside so not good on a cold day. Friendly staff though

Actually no line, or a very short wait upon my visit. I recommend making an appointment and or going during the middle of the day.

The woman at Window 1 was extremely nice and helpful. The young man at Window 1 taking pictures was especially polite. Another customer was upset about something and crying, and the woman and young man at Window 1 consoled her and helped her with her issue. Vallejo DMV has amazing people working there. Ive been there about 12 times and always a good, fast experience, with an appointment.

Surprisingly pleasant and fast! I needed to get a missing registration sticker. The person greeting customers was nice and provided the form I needed. The person helping me process it was really nice too. Though there were many customers that day, I was done in less than an hour. Thank you!

Went for real id. Did the online application ahead and uploaded my documents. Brought the code they gave me with my documents and was in and out in less than 30 mins with a computer system reboot. EXCELLENT SERVICE

I went to window number 3, got racist treatment from the staff there. I tried my best to be polite and courteous since I know DMV is a busy place and politeness goes a long way in moving things along, but the moment I went up to window 3, she was obviously intentionally rude to me. I missed out a few blanks on the form, and she pushed the form back to me with such rudeness and said “YOU NEED TO FILL THEM OUT” as if I’ve committed a crime, and when I am not sure about something and asked her a question, she made me feel as if I am annoying her. She is also leaving out essential information and instructions that should be explained to me such as “your new title will be mailed to my address” etc. the whole time her face was long and cold, I was left feeling confused and hurt.I thought she’s just having a bad day, and didn’t want to bother to leave a review, but to my surprise when I had to returned to the window because I forget something, I saw her with the next customer, her face all animated with joy as if she’s a totally different person, and the moment she saw me coming back to the window her face drew long and austere. Again, during my interaction with her I kept being polite and pleasant, saying thank you to her many times, I can’t think of any other reason that she had to behaved so rude to me than the fact that I am an Asian woman and somehow that makes me her enemy.All the other staffs I encountered there were very kind and helpful though.
