Valerie is extremely knowledgeable about housing scene in and around Sandeigo. She is honest, professional, concise, thorough and not pushy. Our house buying process was a difficult one and Val remained with my family throughout the whole process, never once straying away from any new obstacles during our time with her and she found us a house that we wanted at a price that worked for us. When it came to doing inspections on the house Val is very helpful finding timely contractors well connected with experienced contractors. This was our first house purchase and she coached us through the whole process. We had looked at many houses and had few criteria’s in our checklist, Val respected it and she took off time to understand what those are and why we treat them as deal breaker. Looking back now she turned from an Agent to our family, she checked with us multiple times following our purchase to ensure all that was promised had been delivered and although the process is done now she is always available to lend a helping hand. I have never been so impressed by anyone but Valerie Gardner. She is extremely professional, and responsive.I told her what I wanted in my medicare health coverage and she got me exactly what I was looking for, EVERYTHING! Valerie is amazing! She was our selling agent for our townhome in San Diego. She orchestrated everything; from fixes, to paint, to stagers, to photographers… all of it. She even offered to help us move! She kept me updated every step of the way with a quick call or text when she needed to reach me. Super helpful and informed and she tolerated all of my questions as a first time seller. In the end, we got a lot of great offers and I know that was because of what she brought to the process. Miss Gardner really is the best at what she does and not because of the obvious reasons like commissions, price points, or high value clients she is the best because she actually cares about her clients. She was understanding with us being first time buyers. Extraordinarily patient with a unbearable seller and even worse selling agent and still handled our case with poise. 21 years in the buiseness and never having delt with a more difficult seller Mrs Gardner handled our case with knowledge and professionalism. Overall the process with purchasing our first home was unlike anything she had ever seen as a real estate agent and yet she saw the passion that we had for this particular property, put her distain for the duo aside went against her initial instinct which would have been to move on and look for another property and instead dug deeper and ultimately was able to negotiate a price under market all of our closing costs covered and our entire earnest deposit back. Im writing this review while were still in escrow which is a testament to the impression shes left on my family and I because we havent even closed on the property yet and wether we do or not I still would choose Ms Gardner day or night as my real estate agent in the San Diego area. Truly one of a kind, best at her craft.
