After residing in the community of Valentia for just a month now; I am very pleased with every aspect from the community, from the atmosphere to my new apartment and the excellent staff. My experience has been great. Jessie, the leasing specialist whose expertise and assistance were invaluable in helping me find the perfect home. She made the move in experience very easy and provided me with some of the best customer service Ive encountered in a while. Additionally, Grace, the property manager, was equally welcoming and available to assist me with any further questions I had. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly will recommend Valentina to anyone seeking a high-quality living experience.

I have been looking for an apartment for about a year and a half now and none of the ones I have seen compare to Valentia apartments. From the moment I met with Rick and was shown the apartments, I knew it was somewhere I could see myself living. Rick made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. I want to start off by saying I highly recommend living at the Valentia apts in La Habra. My move in and overall experience has been nothing short of excellence. The staff was very helpful and understanding. I would like to thank Rick at the leasing office. He not only listened but was reliable and always replied immediately. Me and my wife and 1 year old daughter moved in to our apartment in 2022 and when we walked in we met Rick! He was really nice and super helpful and really friendly to talk to he always helps out me and my wife whenever we need something for our apartment I would highly recommend Rick if u wanna move here he will take care of u and ur family!

My husband and I moved in to our apartment in October. We absolutely love our apartment, but the appliances (dishwasher, laundry) are extremely outdated. The complex is very nice, but tenants do not pick up their dog’s feces and neither does the apartment staff, so you have to watch where you step.While the front staff has been very nice and helpful, the same cannot be said for the maintenance service. One time our light switch broke and it took 30 + days and multiple calls to get it fixed. The next time our dishwasher broke and it also took 30 days to get fixed and multiple calls. They say they will arrive on a certain date or time and then never show. Our washer broke. We put in a request and the next day they said he was going to arrive the following day, since we have a dog we had to make sure we are home all day, but once again he did not show and we still have heard nothing. We called the front office and she said she was going to get ahold of them and call us right back. Crickets.It’s really ridiculous to pay such a hefty price in rent to have to go a month without a bathroom light, another month without a dishwasher, and now at least a week without a washer machine.

The apartments are nice with a big bathroom and a kitchen with an island. The residents all seem decent and I have no worries about safety here. This is definitely a dog friendly apartment complex! Maintenance does a pretty good job about keeping everything orderly and clean. The staff, including Rick (front desk) and Jaime (maintenance supervisor), are so friendly and always willing to help. Rick has a warm personality and will help you with any issue promptly. Rick was able to help me with my key and parking issue right away and was able to balance servicing all the clients/ residents in the office despite being the only one in the office at the times that I’ve been there. Jaime was able to fix my shower drain and sink issue so fast and efficiently. A room for improvement could be with the process of guest parking. Pros: Nice apt, big bathroom, nice kitchen, safe apartment complex, dog friendly, trash valet, nice apt gym; Cons: Guest parking, high rent fee

We moved in about 12 days ago, and we love the apartment, community and amenities. But we had to put in on multiple work orders within the first few days. In all honesty, we were very disappointed, frustrated and upset at whoever did the walk through before we moved in because some of the issues were so obvious. Although, that was annoying, my 5 stars rating goes to:** Jaime ** our maintenance guy.I can be a pain when upset (LOL) but Jaime kept me posted, and replied to my text messages within 5 minutes. He went above and beyond to work with me and to fix all issues in a timely manner. His communication was great, and he is really the reason why my boyfriend and I didn’t escalate this situation.5 stars to Jaime!!!

After having seen several apartments in the area we decided to check Valentia, walked in with no appointment on a Sunday morning and met Rick Frunchey.Our first impression of Rick, very friendly, professional and caring, gave us a tour, he went above and beyond to help us find the unit that best fits our needs and budget, and I have to say, he is the reason we decided to move in and we are very happy with our decision.No community is ever perfect but Rick has demonstrated to be a genuine caring person who will always go the extra mile to accommodate your needs, and always with a big smile, we feel very fortunate to have him.You dont always find good honest people like him, thank you very much Rick for everything you do, keep up the good work!

I’ve been a resident of Valentia for only a short time but my experience has been wonderful. From the first meeting with Rick Fruchey he was awesome! He was so pleasant, professional and just genuinely kind. He was so great at making sure we had all our questions answered as I was a little nervous about the move. Rick has gone out of his way many times to follow up on things for us which is so appreciated.This is a really nice gated community and feels safe with good amenities. It’s surprising how quiet the apartments are. I love the valet trash service. Their maintenance team is awesome too. Requests are handled right away and everyone is super friendly.

Rick F. Has been AMAZING. The move in process was fairly simple. The computer stuff was for the birds, and I wish that we could do it old school. But, That being said, the staff, they have been so wonderful. The day after we moved in, we had tragedy strike family, and we had to put our beloved pup to sleep. The day after, was a cinco de mayo party that the apartment held, and we were encouraged to come. I’m so glad we did. Getting to know our community and the staff on a personal level has been really good for us. Everything is clean and fairly quiet from what I can tell. I look forward to the year to come. Living at Valentia has been a great experience! We have lived here for 4 years and have been so pleased with everything the propery has to offer! The property management change recently, and the attention to detail has really improved! The office and maintenance staff are terrific. Rick is always so helpful, attentive and extremely professional. Windsor should be proud to have him in his role. We recently purchases a new home, but would recommend Valentia to anyone. I first have to give credit where it’s due... Rick Fruchey is AWESOME! His knowledge of the property in and out is phenomenal. I loved that when I was touring the property with Rick he didn’t have the trying to sell me a car approach. He asked what was I looking for directly and showed me units that matched what my needs were exactly! He also has been following up with me to keep me updated for any availability so that I can become a resident. It’s leasing agents like him who allow residence and future residence to feel comfortable living at a place that they can call home. The Valentia apartments are a great place to live. Rick, the manager has been highly accommodating and goes above and beyond to assist to the best of his abilities. I am well pleased with the management and the cleanliness of the complex. The only con is the limited parking spaces for visitors - if all spaces are taken up, they must park by the CVS near by and trek over to the apartment building. Aside from that - its a comfortable place.

There are many great communities out there and it might sound foolish that my husband and I decided to move to the Valentia Community because of Rick Fruchey our leasing consultant. Why foolish? well what will happen if he decides to change careers or goes on an missionary trip to India or something? I guess we will see.In the meantime knowing that a person so friendly, caring, someone who will take care of our needs in a prompt manner, someone like Rick is in the office gives me peace of mind.He made us feel so welcome since the first time we set foot in the office and showed us the apartment we live in now as many times as we needed until we were certain. I have been at Valentia for a short time but it has been a fantastic experience so far! To put in a nutshell, big floors plans, beautiful landscaping, fantastic amenities, safe, and quiet! Compared to where we were before, this place truly feels like a resort. We looked around many different apartments but ended up choosing Valentia due to the great location and proximity to my work. There are lots of restaurants and places to shop nearby which is a big plus.All of the staff weve encountered have all been courteous, friendly, and professional. I want to give a shout out to Rick Fruchey in particular, who has made our move-in smooth. He was very patient (emphasis on the patient) with my many questions and made sure I had everything I needed upon move in. He has a genuine way about him and he was one of the major reasons why I felt comfortable moving into Valentia. Rick is an asset to Windsor and I hope they are recognizing and rewarding him for his contributions to Valentia.I also want to acknowledge the rest of the amazing staff. Kelly Melone has also been great in answering our questions and helping us with various requests. There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed upon move in, but Jaime and his maintenance team were quick to fix and rectify the issues. All in all, I am grateful to have such great staff on site!Overall, Valentia is probably some of the nicest apartments youll find in La Habra. I truly believe you get what you pay for and for me, Valentia has been worth every penny. I hope to make this place home for a very long time!

I moved in about 4 months ago.I stopped by to inquire about this location. I was greeted by Rick Fruchey he was very professional and very welcoming. After a tour I decided to move here. I love having all the amenities this location has to offer as well as being pet friendly. There are food truck nights and since Ive been here 1 community social night that the Staff organized with food, DJ, drinks etc was very enjoyable, nice to see and meet other Residents. Location is great walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is for the most part quiet, grounds are very relaxing. People I have encountered while out walking are friendly. I like the fact that there is Security doing rounds in the evenings.Rick Fruchey has been the best. He is very nice, extremely helpful. If we are out and about and cross paths he always says hello and makes sure to ask how we are doing and if there is anything he can do. Love that.So far we are enjoying living here.

I have been here for over a year and things are getting better regarding cleanliness, trash, and property maintenance. It still needs some work and consistency. I can not express how professional the management staff is when it comes to handling the above issues. The facility and Porter staff are also amazing and they fix everything in a 24hr period. It will be nice to see Windsor invest a little more into keeping this propert beautiful.

At around 12:30 AM, my shower faucet decide to break and the water kept running. I gave a call to Valentias 24-hour emergency service. An on-site technician was at my door in about 20 minutes.JP came in and fixed the faucet in no time. He even helped me put my shower head and filter back together. I was really impressed by his service and professionalism.

Loving the Valentia apartments. I have a valet that even picks up my trash. The amenities are terrific, chef quality kitchen with its own washer/ dryer and garage. The staff is fantastic!!!. The grounds are clean and quiet. The outdoor amenities feel like a resort.

All of the $500 deposit plus extra fines were charged after moving out for painting, carpet cleaning, and janitorial. We were told before moving out that we wouldnt be charged for painting because we had been there over two years and it needed to be painted anyways. We were still charged however. The apartment was spotless when we left. I have never not received my deposit back. Our friends recently moved into another apartment here and said it was filthy when they moved in so obviously they arent cleaning them like they say on the charges. They dont care about their residents or retaining them they just want to squeeze every cent they can out of you since they know you will leave anyways. Not to mention the employees cant even speak english every email I have received from them has grammatical errors and typos. If you get their mailing list about events they are extremely annoying and sent out multiple times even after the events have already occurred.

Was a model tenant in terms of cleanliness and keeping quiet. Always took shoes off, didnt leave a single mark on the paint, never hung anything on the walls, and vacuumed the carpet on the way out. Scrubbed the bathroom and kitchen clean. Always paid rent on time. And they still took most of my deposit on carpet cleaning, janitorial cleaning and partial paint. All charged on the date of my move-out. I get that a place like this would extract every dollar out of its tenants. Just dont call it a deposit. And please dont leave another one of those corporate BS responses here.

After looking at several apartment buildings and a few houses for rent, my wife and I decided on Valentia/La Habra. Price, Facilities, proximity to my work, commute, available shopping, all came into the mix. Even the fact that we are able to have a view of the hills in the distance. It is an apartment and we will not be there for ever. They are new so no one can say how good the maintenance crews are or will be. The only thing that would have made it 5 stars for me would have been closer to work and better commute but that is a trade off for the rest of the above items. The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful. They deal with every kind of person and keep a smile and respectful approach. Something I would have to work at in some cases.....

I contacted Valentia to lease a 2 bedroom apartment on Friday and it was absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. The leasing agent Jessica was rude, condescending and least interested in listening to our requirements. Despite multiple requests and emails exchanged, she sent us incorrect videos of apartments (1st floor unit when we clearly mentioned 2nd floor or higher and 1 bedroom instead of 2 bedroom). When we requested seeing the actual unit to make sure we fill out the application with the correct unit no., that request was rejected as well. We understand the current situation and the restrictions on showing apartments but how can we fill out the application (for a specific unit no.) when we haven’t even been sent the correct videos despite multiple phone calls and emails exchanged. We also shared screenshots of the video she sent (to show it was first floor unit as clearly seen in the video) when Jessica continued to argue with us about the video she sent. If this is how the leasing agents behave PRIOR to signing a lease, I shudder to think of the difficulties that residents will face once they start living and are bound by a lease. I will not rent at Valentia even if it was the last place to live in Orange County.Also, I did some research on the community post the rude and unpleasant encounter with Jennifer and noticed many horrible reviews about bugs in the community, low water pressure, bursting water pipes and worst of all the pathetic customer service, callous and condescending attitude of the leasing staff. Please read the google review and yelp reviews prior to moving here, and if you don’t, your experience with the leasing staff will be a lesson learned.

Probably the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. I’ve lived in 2 other apartment homes and never have I been treated worse or had more problems with the staff. For one everything is always broken and is not fixed in a timely manner, when I moved in the pool and the jaccuci heater was “out of order” these problems weren’t fixed until 5 months later there are also several issues with gates that fail to close and paint chipping on the hall way walls that still fail to be fixed even after 8 months of living. Second the parking is terrible. When I first moved in there was free parking for residents and plenty of parking for guests. When I signed my lease the staff mentioned “parking will change” and told me I could pay $100 dollars a month to “reserve” parking. I refused because parking was fine. But about 7 months into me living at this complex they did not allow residents to park on site anymore, which meant resident had to crowd the guest parking area which basically meant none of the residents where able to have guests over. On top of that they continue to change the parking to make it more inconvenient for residents and guests alike. And when asked to purchase a $100 a months parking pass they stayed “were all out” however there continues to be apx. 40-50 empty parking spots behind the gated area at any given time. Third the staff, most of the staff is professional but unhelpful they are not able to answer basic answers related to the complex and prefer to focus on gaining new tenants than pleasing tenants who already live there. However the manger “Lauren” is very unprofessional and inconsiderate she is rude constantly rolling her eyes when I voice a complaint and providing rude unprofessional and un knowledgeable answers when asked to explain reasoning behind changes in the complex rules. At one point when asking what my parking options were after the parking changed she told me to “ welcome to apartment living, figure it out” this is not how you treat people who pay over $2200 a month for a “luxury” apartment experience. She also constantly dresses like she’s going to a club rather than working in an office. Just very unprofessional. Also I have had problems with homeless and drug user types loitering to the front of the complex due to it being on Beach Blvd right in front of a bus stop area. For the price you will be paying there are certainly better apartment complexes with more helpful staff and in more desireable areas.

What a scam this place is not what its advertised to be. Staff does not know the layout of their apartments, they tell you one thing and a few minutes later its something else. Supposed to be a smoke-free zone I saw tenant smoking, kids are supposed be supervised in the pool area no supervision kids are not allowed to be in the weight room there were kids there. The answer they gave me was nobodys perfect. I brought this up to the manager Lauren and she told me maybe this is not the place for you. wow!!! Management is willing to overlook the rules just to get tenant in. I sure hope these children do not get injured because of managements Mistakes. If you your looking for luxury this is not the place for you!!!!!

Still a tenant living with my girlfriend. They promised to give me a parking permit but still havent given me one despite the fact that I got my car towed before in our parking lot. They offer only one parking space for a one bedroom but what do you expect couples to do? You want one of us to uber everywhere? Today my car got towed for the second time. Valentia management has CHANGED FOR THE WORST.To “Fairfield Residential” to “Windsor”Prior management was on top of EVERYTHING.This management has a list of bad changes.-Dog park is not maintained properly with enzyme spray that Fairfield used to use. Windsor does not pay for those supplies.-Windsor does not pay to have enough maintenance, gardening personnel. “Overworking” the personnel and it’s not their fault. It’s windsors standards.-Low staff, including office staff. There is only 1 person as 4 positions!!!!!!! I CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH. poor women does not have help and cannot assist residents since she’s acting as a leasing consultant as well, vice versa.-Hallway floors are dirty. They used to be power washed every week and now the 1 maintenance person has to much on his plate to get to it. A TON OF LABOR!

This place officially opened on April 1st. Only had a 1 bedroom model available to view when I went. I have tried SEVERAL times to reach the office to see if the 2 Bedroom model is available yet, and I keep getting routed to a centralized leasing line where all they know to do is set an appointment. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!! Do they want to lease their apartments or not?? I guess you are supposed to lease a 2 Bedroom, sight unseen.I know it was mentioned that they are way overpriced because they are new, and I tend to agree, but am a firm believer in you get what you pay for.

The apartment itself is amazing but the staff not so much I was quoted a 3200 for a 3 bed 2 bath apartment when we went to look at it it was exactly like the picture and it was ground floor just like we wanted Jessica was selling us this particular apartment because it had wood floors and an attached garage when we went back to the office she wrote everything down for us but forgot to tell us that the apartment we saw isnt the one we were going to get instead it is 2 floor with no garage and no wood floor but still at the same price. This isnt what was shown or sold to us now none of the workers want to honor what we were qouted for for the apartment that we were shown at first because someone had already applied for that particular apartment and for some reason they were still showing it but I called and showed up about a week later and, was told I the application process for that apartment was abandoned and it would go back on the market so Jessica was going to give me a call to set what could be done about my situation but its now Sunday and still no call and I havent even moved in yet...I can just imagine how it would be when I do.

Stairs in j building are dirty. Neighbors making noise at all hours of the night when people are trying to get sleep. Pets doing there business on sidewalks and plant areas

After applying and giving our deposit everything as ok we never got a call from anyone in the office to keep up make sure everything in fact was ok the out if the blue I get a VM that if we dont take certain documents they will cancel our application (needless to say I had sent several emails asking if we needed to take anything in at the time or if it would be closer to the time of moving) we tried calling with no luck of getting a hold if anyone, then when we finally did we were told our apartment had been rented out before we knew any of this WTH?!?! Jessica was amazing very nice girl but its not worth the hassle they put you though way to expensive for a 1 bedroom and the location, its been close to a month now since this happen we have yet to recieve our deposit back when I called (today 7/26/17) I was told our check out be in with 7-10 days yet the assistant manager said it would take 21 days and another employee said it be returned to my card.......get it together people, its like no one in that office is aware of what happening

The community is well kept and you are very interactive via email and social media. You host many events, such as receptions (mixers) and Food trucks.

Moving to Valentía has been one of the most wonderful experiences weve had. From day one, Rick welcomed us with incredible warmth. He is one of the kindest people weve met, always willing to help and make sure we feel at home. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, which has made our stay even more enjoyable. My daughter and I rented a year and a half ago with the previous management, they were very friendly.I sincerely prefer to discuss important matters in my language (Spanish), since my English is limited and I express myself better in Spanish. (And even more so when it comes to signing important documents).With the last administration, there was a young lady named Erica with whom I dealt with any matter through emails, it was not necessary to go to the office, she answered any concerns or problems I might have, and all the notices and information were sent to us at two oclock. (to my daughter and me).Now everything is a disaster, my daughter does not receive the notices, even though we already went to the office and asked them to please send the emails and notices to both of us, they have not done so.I cant communicate with anyone, since the people in charge in the office are so apathetic.Now that I tried to see what the terms were to renew my contract, they made me talk to the maintenance person, although he was a very cooperative person, I feel that he is not the person I have to address.Anyway, they have not sent any invitation to renew my contract like the last administration used to do.Its really disappointing.I have no complaints with the maintenance people, it is clear that they do the best possible.But unfortunately this administration does not have enough staff or handles it in another way, which definitely does not work.
