Hired on 6 month contract temp-to-hire with Intel in Folsom CA, but was let go after only 4months without any clear reason being given aside from one of my co-workers who was not my manager, didnt care for me too much because I, an English speaking US citizen, could never understand his heavy Chinese accent and always had to ask him to please repeat himself. Furthermore, UST did not try very hard to place me with any other team within Intel that I would have qualified for, nor any other company that they have contracts with. They simply dropped me for no reason. no loyalty whatsoever. All that on top of an insain hiring process and background check jumping through hoops that included having to retrieve physical copies of my high school diploma and complete college transcript even though the position didnt even require a degree. I would stay away unless you have no other choice to land that dream job testing video games all day.

During the initial conversation about US openings a Recruiter will ask you for your date of birth and last four of your social security. At best, it’s age discrimination in US. If you refuse to provide information you are suddenly no longer a fit or you don’t hear back. BEWARE!
