I was having and extraordinarily frustrating experience trying to track down dealers and manufacturers who could help me identify what I need for a restaurant firedoor. USA Fire Door does not warranty any of their items completely. We purchased thousands of dollars of commercial locksets, door assemblies, and closers. And we have fought tooth and nail to gain warranty on these items very unsuccessfully. We finally had no choice but to purchase more to replace the broken items. We will go to CDF Distributors from here on out! They have backed their products time after time!!

Horrible company. Ordered door and had delivered 7.5 weeks later and delivery company drops door off of the trailer and did not wait for signature from my company. Called USA fire door and company does not hold delivery company liable and only gave us partial refund of 800.00 out of 2400.00. Does not want to take door back! They are more expensive then most companies after doing research and super slow production and no care for customer! Production rep that I spoke to was rude and did not care that they directly affected my company and theTaco Bell location we were building! He needs to do some training before he talks to clients. Stay away from this company. Horrible! They are a complete joke! I lost 1600.00 and have a door with no usable frame.

Don’t believe the good reviews they had online. I chose to do business with them because the good reviews they received. Turns out to be very bad and disappointing experience.I was new to the business regarding door, found them online. So I initially trying to get a match fire door for the commercial project I had, I have no previous experience ordering commercial fire door. So I thought I need find a expert like “ USA Fire Door”, The one that helped me is Savannah, she’s okay when I first ordering, I asked her to add “ all the necessary things “ for me to install a new commercial fire door and since it’s customized door, it need wait 1-2 months according to them. I waited 1-2 months, my order arrived.Then turns out they didn’t help me order the door frame which surprised me since I did ask “all the necessary things” for me install a door into a brand new entry. so after couple times to going back forth them. I accepted the result as of accidental mistake and choose to order the door frame with them.Savannah then asking me everything regarding the door frame measurement and door hinges measurement, and I provided everything she asked in order to door frame for the customized door I ordered.Then my second order with them arrived, turns out the door frame is way bigger than the door entry I had. So I personally went to the office location to see if we can find a solution to this order since the door installation has been delayed more than a month.This is when the argument came, Savannah seems very impatient about me and my order. I was there to ask how come I gave you every measurement she asked and you guys still made a mistake and it is possible for them to help me solve the issue of having oversized door frame. She strongly stated this order can’t be returned and ask me to wait. Then a guy that’s around 170 cm with glasses came out, maybe it’s the manager. Not sure cause he didn’t introduce his name to me.At first, he seems willing to help me to resolve this problem. So I lead him to my car where the door frame is, then he’s starting asking question and trying to blame me as customer for this oversized door frame. So I got mad, because the conversation seems not going into the right direction.Then he said: stop yelling at me, I am not suppose to be here to help you.I was shocked he will say that to a customer just because I already paid and got the product they made even though it’s completely not useable for me and they blamed me for the mistakes.Maybe i’m not expert for the door, but as a customer to a business. I don’t believe I should be treat this way.Blaming the customer for the wrong measurement that they asked me to measure. I choose to do business with them because I thought they are expert and will help me for my project regarding the door.Turns out I spent almost $2000 and still not be able to install the door and even got insulted by them in front of their office building.I don’t believe this the right way to do business.I personally don’t recommend you go to them if you are not expert cause their salesman is not professional enough to help you and once you ordered and paid for it. They will take no responsibility for the order and the way they treating their customer is just not acceptable in anyway. I feel very disrespected as a customer.TO RESPONSE to Owners response:I am not out of nowhere, I showed up on the same day after my worker picked up the frame and realized the size its too big. I drove over 40 miles to your office to solve the issue before you guys close at 4PM. Your reply doesnt show you guys as a responsible business, saying I am acted like a child. Even if I am a child, its still a customer to you guys. I feel very discriminated when I saw the comment you made. Alex was very patient in working through the myriad of details needed to get our commercial door replacement details spot on correct. Took some educating to help us get up to speed on some technical terminology, but he persisted despite our best efforts to resist. Started out trying to replace only one door of a double door system, but match-up obstacles with old fixed door became untenable, so we had to go to full double door replacement. Relative to other local vendors, Alex was far more time responsive in providing information and quote revisions. I believe we may have gone through at least 8 quote revisions, before landing on the correct combo of specs. But I feel confident the doors will arrive in Alaska correctly produced, given our efforts with Alex to nail down all the details.

I worked with Alex at USA Fire Door. He was very meticulous throughout the entire process. He recommended the proper type of door for my application, and walked me through measuring and provided me with install instructions for the doors we purchased. I still have about a month to wait for delivery. Hopefully that works out as well as everything else.Post Script.The order arrived a week earlier than I expected. The issue was a missing hinge leg from my order. Again, Alex headed that off at the pass and got me a support ticket. I worked thru the rest of the issue with Eddie. The entire issue was resolved within an hour and a half of delivery and I have a tracking number for the missing part. To me as a site superintendent, I think the speedy action to get the order straight is as valuable as perfection. I realize mistakes are made sometimes. Having a simple process ro rectify those mistakes is important. I will definately use this company again.Jim H

I have been in the facilities management profession more than 40 years. Ordering steel emergency exit fire doors from USA Fire Door was fantastic. My contact at USA FD, Justin, was an expert on door sizing, code compliance, etc. He helped me address concerns that I or my team had not even considered. I am a GM for a newly purchased hotel which will go under renovation. We ran into roadblock with a Door vendor when going through the process of purchasing new doors for our hotel. Somehow, USA Fire Door came up as a possible last minute option. They say, things happen for a reason. We are so glad we ran into a roadblock with our former Door vendor. Because that gave us the chance to work with USA Fire Door. We started the initial process at the end of March 2021, and by the end of April we were closing our purchase process with them. Our Account Manager was Ms. Savannah Loverde. What a professional account manager! She went into details of my purchase like no other vendor had before. She asked multiple questions, just to make sure we were buying and considering everything needed for our Doors/Hotel and she even contacted other of our vendors (Dormakaba- Door locks) to make sure we were not missing anything. It is very reassuring when vendors go out of their way to ensure you know what you are buying, but more importantly, to make sure you are buying what you need. Although there is still a process ahead of receiving the finished product and installing them, needless to say we are very confident of our purchase and very satisfied of the service provided by Savannah, our Account Manager. But my windo glass was lost in Shipping after I waited 7 weeks for the door and then waited another month for a replacement glass. My customer was not happy! I really think they need a new carrier service.

I needed a Fire Rated Steel Door. Michael Sinaga helped me out and he did a great job understanding what I needed and even helped me fill in some blanks that I would have never thought of. Savannah LoVerde made all the difference, she stayed with me through out the whole process, my knowledge in this field was limited and she expanded my horizon. I was surprised to see that the door was made in China and I was confused that I paid extra to have a smaller delivery truck bring it to my house with a lift gate when in fact it wasnt. But I got the door and it looks great and all is good.

I just called to get a quote. Basic window lite kit. They require all your information to give you a basic quote for a standard product. Why? When I questioned that the guy simply told me to call someone else. They collect your information and then you receive junk mail. No, thank you. Edit. Or is it just a game to draw the patriotic part of our society to your business? You really drew a beatiful analogy here- the high school level at least. I am inpressed. A potential client calls to inquire about a price for a basic off the shelf product( why not price it on line so I can simply click and buy it without wasting anyones time? ) and in order to get that he needs to give away all his information down to his email, address, last name etc. And when he questions that interrogation he is called unhinged... Well, I took your advice and went to Grainger. I couldnt care less about $10 saving if I can simply click and get it the next day right next door. Good luck my soldier friend. Keep up the good fight. I wouldnt recommend this company. Our experience started off good but then everything took a turn once there was a mistake on a door that they manufactured for us. Once, it was brought up to USA Fire Doors attention they were rude and handled the situation very unprofessionally.
