The doctor and the people that work there are so friendly they make you feel so comfortable, relaxed, and I will be using her, them as go to Dr. my experience was really great! And I’m an older person they treated me with Respect, kindness all in all they’re great.

This was my first visit here. Everything looked clean and bright. The wait wasnt too long for a walk in. I had a breathing treatment, swabs done and a chest x-ray. Dr. Reyes was knowledgeable and answered my questions. The staff was personable and professional. I feel like I received great service.

This is my 2nd time coming. I really appreciate the Dr. She listens and is thorough. The staff is very kind and the wait time is not bad at all. I recommend this Urgent Care clinic. If you need x ray or ultrasounds, they are available on site for an additional cost depending on your insurance. The staff is great there too.

This place was anything but urgent... But the doctor and staff were friendly. 🤷🏼Checked in at 430 needing an X-ray. Vitals taken and put in room at 530. Doctor didnt get to the room until 630. XRay tech left at 6. 2 hours (not including drive time) were completely wasted.

I rate my visit very low. The facility lacks the bare essentials for a basic examination . The physician used his cell phone’s flashlight to look into my throat and my son’s. His evaluation was lacking and substance of useful information that I could use for care.no printout of my visit. Staff in front off lacks hospitality. Doctor that attended to us should retire. Overall very poor experience.

It was my first and last time I will be going to this location. I felt bad for the doctor she was by herself to see so many patients. I just feel that the staff can mention about how long your wait could be! First to wait in the lobby for 2hrs then to wait in the room for almost to hours youre left there thinking the doctor will be in soon!!!After inquiring they said oh youre next which us not so!!!I should of left!!! When finally seen by the doctor she recommended getting a xay, well wouldnt you know the technician already left for the day!!! I wished I just would of left like two hours ago!!!I bet I would of been seen in the ER, but my issue was not for ER status.Well, poor other folks I had seen that would be waiting forever. Guess my point is to let patients be ware of what to expect give them an option. Maybe they can go elsewhere!!!! I would of for sure WHAT a waste of time!!!

I waited 3 hrs to been seen by a doctor. I got a 10 min consultation and the doctor never check me. We just got a conversation according to what I was feeling. He never told me to stretch or breath deeply or press the area that hurts. I got a pain relief injection for my lower back pain but it didnt make me feel better even after 2hrs from being given. Nurse came in with gloves to get my payment prior to injection and handle me my receipt and credit card with same gloves. Those gloves that she was willing to use to provide me the injection. I ask her to change them prior to the injection.

Wait time was okay. Maybe a little over an hour but not too bad. I like that the receptionist/MAs explain what they can and cannot do instead of allowing patients to check in and wait to find out they cant be attended. Dr. Shoshan was great. She listened to me, heard my concerns and was very gentle with her demeanor. This was my first time and I will likely be back again if need be.

After vitals were taken i was left to wait for the doctor for over an hour several people had came in and asked the patient name and if the doctor had come which i assume as staff youd know. Doctor then comes in and does the quickest check and prescribes meds. felt like a complete waste of time

The wait time was not long at all but the doctor that I saw was very unprofessional. Rude since the start. Was no help at all in prescribing anything that can help meanwhile I see my primary Doctor. In the illness doctor prescribing he was more concerned about my tattoo and shirt I was wearing than the pain I was feeling . His name is Vinod Patwardhan. I felt very discriminated and disrespected by the way he treated me.

Ive been a patient with AME medical for 8 years the staff doctors and owner are so kind and curitious. The health professionals take there job serious they help me with my diabetes and hypertension its been 2 years with no meds. Fell and hurt my left hand. Could not sleep in pain so I called the AME office to confirm they took my insurance plan and get their address. Ample parking available, there was only one person ahead of me. While she was done art the window, I asked to use the restroom, which was very clean and presentable. Upon returning to auto area, there were 4 more people in line and was told I would be next. Glad I was not sent to the end of the line. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes for x-ray unit to open. After x-rays were taken, I was informed that I ould go home and wait for a call. I explained that I had been told to wait for the results at the wait area. After 15 minutes, I was told there was no fracture, just bruising, and I could take Tylenol for the pain. I would definitely recommend this provider; they were professional, speedy and efficient.

Came in at 517pm and left at 732pm. I have been here before so I had everything on file and nothing changed so I was okay. Theyve got D+ in the background, it appears you can make appointments for certain things before hand. I walked out of the visit with a doctors note and my medicine being prepared at my local pharmacy. Im certainly happy with the level of service I received.I came in at 3350m and was leaving by 420pm. Use the Solv app to upload all of your documents like medical card etc etc. The only caveat is that they cant check your eyes. I scratched my eye one time and because I wasnt sure if they had the equipment I went to my optometrist first because they do have the equipment and then I went here after the optometrist told me they cant write a prescription. Im glad that its a quick situation.

My mother in law showed up earlier today to see a doctor and she was told to come back at 2:30 p.m. I brought her back at 2:20 p.m. and theyre refusing to see her because theyre booked. This place is a joke! They should have let her stay earlier today but she was told to just come back at 2:30.UPDATE: So were back and my mother in law is inside. Thank you for telling us to come back. There were many other people who were turned away when we were here at 2:20.Suggestion: Why not write down peoples information before you tell them to come back later? Tell them they have to be back at a specific time and you remove their name from the list if theyre late. I get that your business is busy, but your patients time is also valuable and people arent coming to urgent care for no reason.BTW, your receptionist have to work on their professionalism. Being rude isnt going to help the situation when youre turning people away.I will update this review when my mother in law comes to the car. And will increase the rating.Update at 4:50 p.m.: Doctor saw my mother in law and prescribed antibiotics. Doctor was friendly. Upgraded to 3 stars.

Came to this location for my son and as soon as I got there they said they have another location that has a pediatric doctor. I drove 6minutes to get to the other location just for them to tell me they’re not taking any more patients. I asked if they communicate amongst each other and they said they did. However, I got there within less than 10minutes of this location and apparently there was way too many people. I feel like the communication should be way better before redirecting a mother with a sick baby to a different location just for them to not be available.

Im standing outside of my room waiting to talk to somebody after being in there for 20 minutes and doctors are talking about patients as theyre coming in on laughing. The service was horrible and the sick as I was nobody even bothered to check me to see if I had covid or anything close to it. Needless to say Im not interested in coming back to your service again

It was my first time there. The entire staff was pleasant and professional. Doctor was nice and caring. I was happy that x-rays were also done immediately after my consultation. By the time I got home, the doctor was calling me to discuss my x-ray findings. 🩻 I would recommend this UC. Very satisfied with my visit.

I have recommended this urgent care to many people and will continue to do so.I am always grateful because I received a lot of help whenever my children and I were sick.But this evening, my daughter and I were sick, so we arrived just before 8pm. The office nurse said I might be able to see a doctor, but my daughter might not, so she said I would ask the doctor.The doctor said she couldnt treat my daughter because she had treated too many patients and had four more patients to treat.I understood because the hospital closed at 9 oclock. I saw the doctor around 8:20.But even if the doctor had treated me and my daughter, it would have taken less than 5 minutes. In reality, it doesnt take long to prescribe cold medication.I asked again if she could take care of my daughter because she was sick, but the doctor refused treatment, saying she was not a pediatrician. I wrote this because I thought this was not right. She told me to come back tomorrow morning. I dont think she deserves to be a doctor.It seems to be a problem for hospitals to hire doctors like this, and it also seems to be a problem for one doctor to treat too many patients. Please accept the suggestions carefully. I hope the urgent care will develop further

Issue at checkin with clerk that took 1 hour and 35 minutes to get processed to see the checkin nurse and doctor (arrived at 10:45 but could not get processed until 12:20). Very upsetting - learned she was new to the position. Otherwise would be five star.This time - 2 hours before seeing the practitioner who refused to give me antibiotics for the same thing I had two months prior (with the last review in the paragraph above) when I did receive antibiotics that cured the issue beginning the next day - but now I have to live with the misery of these symptoms for at least eleven days before she will give me an antibiotic. Asinine. I have not had antibiotics for years but she believes I will ruin my chances of curing anything in the future by using antibiotics for a second time in years. Ludacris NOT impressed.

I would like to say this place is great..If you get there early enough,you will be the first one out. For example, I went to urgent care on the Dec. 2nd. I was out of there before an 1hr. This is the best ever!!! Loved the Dr. as she took the time to listen to my concerns. The receptionist girls behind the desk were prompt as well! The Dr.’s assistant that took my info was very cordial & friendly which is always a plus for me. Also the X-ray tech was so sweet & even gave me helpful info on how to properly lift my body after laying down. I must admit I was a little skeptical bc of the appearance of the walkway area up to the doors but when I got into the actual reception area it was very clean & the rooms where exceptional nice & very very clean so don’t pay attention to the walkway up to the entrance. Was a very very good experience for my first time at an Urgent Care!!

Took 6 pregnancy tests Thursday 3 6 days sooner First Response Tests and 3 Walmart tests the 88 cent ones in the morning and tested also at night and all of them came out positive within 1 minute so I came to AME the next day to request proof of pregnancy for work and after giving the urine sample the doctor came in and said my test is negative and they tested it twice so I showed the doctor pics of all my tests and he said the 2nd line looks faint on all my tests so I requested them to test it again and one of the medical assistants made a comment saying the pregnancy tests they use are the most sensitive and basically made me feel like I was crazy for saying all of my tests were positive from home but their’s isn’t so I said I’m going to get my blood drawn at the hospital because I’m not going to take their word for it and when I got my HcG back it was 20. Low since I just missed my period but still pregnant. So if their tests are the most sensitive how could they not pick up my pregnancy like the ones I took at home? It doesn’t take someone with a degree to see that the tests I took at home were all positive I’m just so confused on why the doctor would say they are only faint lines smh

Ive gone to different AME locations but the information is different. I called the main AME line and tried to get an appointment. I was assured I could walk in and this was around 11 a.m. on a weekday. I get to the Lynwood location and am told by the front desk staff they reached their limit of patients for the day. This was not the first time this type of thing happened there. I ended waiting for the next day and went to the Downey location. I did wait but thats expected. Staff was courteous and professional. Doctor was attentive and kind. I would recommend the Downey location.

Staff was very friendly and they were all masked, which is hard to find after most cities got rid of mask mandates. As a trans person, seeing a new medical provider can be anxiety-inducing but nobody made me feel weird or say anything inappropriate in regards to my gender. It didn’t take as long as I anticipated. The doctor that seen my son today was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She was extremely friendly and listened to his concerns. The only downside after being a patient for many years is that the new doctors dont read if the patient is there as their primary provider. They always refer to him referring to his primary provider for more questions. I have to remind them that hes being seen as primary not urgent care. I love that whenever hes sick I can always walk in as for other providers they schedule you whenever theres an opening. Especially, Dr. Kenia Watkins feels like family. She knows my sin since he was 6 and whenever he needs treatment or counseling shes always understanding and super friendly. My children love her. Thats one of the reasons I stay because of her. She has a special heart.

Arrived at 8:50 PM to have my 14 month old seen and as we walked in a lady said that they were not taking patients after 830 pm that they were closed already! Didn’t care to ask if my daughter had any serious problems or not. If the website says that they close at 9 pm, they should be seeing patients until that time especially if someone walks in with a baby for urgent care!The staff is very rude and careless.I would stay away from this place if you want a caring staff to attend your urgent needs!

AME Urgent Care was open and available to give me quality health care when I was suffering from back pain in December 2020. I was able to get an XRay and a urine test and be seen by a doctor for my back pain. The staff is very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this urgent care. I came again today April 7, 2024 for knee swelling and pain. Dr. Alessandra Adamo was fast and professional. She ordered an X ray which is on location. She gave me very good care as well as the medical assistants in the office. I still highly recommend this urgent care.

Unfortunately the AME in lynwood was close. I hate that it took for me to show up to get the notice. They referred me to the location in the Downey. The doctor in there was super informative. The staff was cool. I mean this is an urgent care, people should expect different. Not having time to see my primary care and this is the second time I’ve been able to rely on AME. If I need urgent care I’m just honestly happy that I can count on AME. They give me a peace of mind. If I have no need to go to the ER I know AME can take care of me when necessary. First off, they give you a free shirt if you leave a 5-star review. Second, I feel very annoyed that I waited over an hour just for them to tell me they did not have the equipment they needed to help me. Receptionist was not polite in her tone, however there was a very sweet girl with curly hair that took my vitals which kind of brightened the environment. Right off the bat I can say that empathy/compassion is lacking, especially with the doctor I saw. Overall not a great experience, I do not recommend this place.

Went to this location with difficulty breathing and a pain in my right side. Sign in was simple and electronically. Was seen relatively quickly, and since their x-ray machine was not working, the doctor said I should go to the ER, because she did not like what she heard and saw in me. I went to the ER as suggested and found that I had pneumonia. Thank God they insisted. Great job!

Extremely cumbersome check in process, and when trying to get help at the desk saying excuse me, excuse me, a doctor or staff member walks right passed making eye contact with me and keeps walking. Not just that, but I waited over an hour in a doctor’s office and I can hear other adult patients that arrived after me being seen in the next rooms. A staff member says they’ll see me soon and then 15 min later they say the doctor that sees adults left and I have to wait for the new doctor to arrive. A ridiculous experience overall.

Went there for the 1st time on 11/10/22 and it was faster than the standard practice. Came in, signed in, filled out paperwork total of 3 pages because the 4th was in Spanish, so it didnt matter. Everyone was courteous. Got checked out, got the information we needed, easy peasy. Staff was excellent. By the looks of it they need a raise, more than the burger flipping kind of raise at that. If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place closes at 9. We took my son for a cat bite on his leg and got there at 7:55- checked in and then was told by the front desk that they needed to check with the provider to see if they would be able to see my son - the lady in the front didnt even know how to explain herself when I asked why.So we waited...15 min passed and again I asked her if my son would be able to be seen since, she said the provider was seeing patients and was busy.During this time another patient walked in at 825 and was denied service because they take their last patient at 830, even though she had called ahead of time and was told she would be able to be seenFinally after 30 min the lady says because they have reached capacity they would not be able to see my son - since a report to public health was neededFirst off- Im a nurse and have made countless reports to public health- during after hours all you need to to do is leave a message. They also have different timeframes to report depending on what is being reported. Im 100% sure a cate bite did not need to be reported immediatelyFirst it was due to capacity- then she said it was because they needed to report to public health and I needed to come back tomorrow.We got there an hour before closing- I have worked in urgent care before and know that they should have been able to render services to my son. The fact that they are lazy and dont want to leave past 9pm is not my problem.The lady in the front was too busy talking about the days she was going to have off and her sons birthday partyWe wasted almost an hour there and had to rush to another urgent care.For reference the new urgent care we went to closed at 9. we got there exactly at 9 and they happily took us in and NO REPORTING WAS NEEDED.

I think seeing a Physician that is around the same age as you, the patient, can be a significant difference in the care you receive. Being in the late 20’s/ early 30’s demographic you should be able to find quality care with physicians that will actually take a seat and take their time to care for you during your visit. I was able to find that here and I’m so glad I decided to come in. I’m definitely going to switch my PCP to someone in my demographic as far as age goes because the younger demographic physicians will be more in touch with current issues that we are facing that other older physicians don’t understand like mental health. For a busy wait room and 12 people ahead of us, the visit did not feel like it took that long. Staff were professional and very friendly. Would recommend and we would come back if needed. Thanks AME team in Paramount/Downey!

The nurses and NPs are very kind and efficient. Wish the front desk had better people skills and were a little more professional. Not too long of a wait time to get seen as a walk in. Would return.

The Medical staff here at AME Urgent care are very helpful and caring. My daughter was freaking out about getting a shot and one of the young ladies talked her all the way through it. Wonderful staff love coming here I am always welcomed with a hello.

I am always treated with kindness. I love my primary care Dr. Watkins. She knows me by name and understand me. Thank you always for your time and treatment. I highly recommend everyone. She is the best.

Had to go a different location today & just loved my visit here as well. I was a mess this morning and didn’t have my insurance for my daughter situated and the front desk lady was so patient with me. My doctor, I can’t remember her name tho I wish I did, was so helpful and answered my million questions. She didn’t make me feel like I didn’t know what I was walking about. Thank you so much !

I came here on a Sunday afternoon. They were very helpful, very friendly, and saw me quickly. All of the staff were knowledgeable and answered my questions quickly. I definitely recommend this urgent care. I took the bus from Long Beach to get there and I was happy enough with the service that I’ll do that even on weekdays when there are other facilities open that are closer to me.
