Front office staff member explained everything before any procedure was done, great service and clean front office. The dentist staff was friendly to my daughter, they explained the procedure, made her feel comfortable and the dental doctor did a great job cleaning up those cavities. Rooms are clean, and the equipment as well. For my follow up appointment, they were able to plug us in with no problem. They were honest with what my insurance covered, and I appreciate that. A+

First off, I cannot say enough great things about this office and their team.Whitney helped us from the very beginning and was so informative that I felt comfortable from the beginning.Office was extremely clean and new, no ugly smells or dirty floors.Dr. Mand was so direct and answered all my questions that I was comfortable enough to say lets do this today! He performed the lip tie correction and was so precise that he got it done the first time. Our daughters lip tie was thick and he got it all done. Gave us after care instructions and gauze in case of bleeding. As of now all is great! So happy we chose him! Would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone!

Whitney and Dr. Mand are incredible! ((So was his assistant but I didnt get ger name - so sorry!)) They are genuinely a peoples person. Very welcoming and inviting. Almost had a family feel to it. The views of the garden in the window were a plus - very calm and relaxing feeling. EXCELLENT bedside manner. Patient. Informative. Thorough. & extremely helpful! Whitney sat down in the room with me & let me air out my grievances with all the hoopla weve been dealing with to get my daughter treated and the mama bear came out of her and she was picking up the phone and making calls to help us expedite things that were needed! Incredibly thankful to have found their office. Definitely gave me a sense of relief that there are still practices out there that truly care for their patients and dont treat you like another number. Dr. Mand knew we drove from far & was able to accommodate us & provide my daughter with services she needed the same day. Highly recommend their office!

We brought my infant son in for the lip tie laser procedure and we were extremely happy how quickly the procedure was. We just had it done today so I have not seen much of a change in my infant after getting it done but he seem to do really well and I don’t feel concerned about the healing process. I would definitely recommend upland laser dental to anyone looking to fix their child’s lip tie. Thank you again!

The dental work was good which is the only reason Im giving it a star .The billing is horribly as they refuse to send over the treatment plan to my insurance to cover my dental work unless I agreed to get more work done . Upfront when the work I previously got covered wasnt done because they didnt send anything over to my provider . Please dont go here unless you want to be screwed .

I went to Upland Laser Dental Center for the first time last week to get fitted for an oral sleeping device. I was very impressed with the service I received from making the initial appointment to the in-person visit. Everyone in the office was extremely nice and explained everything to me thrououghly. I was explained all my options and the best procedures for my personal situation. I was given plenty of time to do some of the work needed. I had an amazing experience at Upland Laser Dental Center. The staff here makes sure its not your typical dentist visit that many people dread.Getting an appointment was a breeze. Once I got there, everyone was professional and friendly, and made sure I was comfortable and quickly taken care of. Ive been going to this great facility for a little bit over 5 yrs. The atmosphere is great, customer service is great, and they always work with me on prices. They make it feel affordable, not like any other office when they hit you with number. The hygienist Paola is great, also Arlene always breaks everything down by detail. Last but not least Dr. Nguyen. Great Dentist, he really cares about his patients, I cant tell he loves what he does.

I had to cancel two appointments before they fit me in with little notice today. From the moment I walked in everyone made me feel welcome and in good hands. All the staff are very knowledgeable and they listened to me. They even adjusted my treatment based on my suggestion. The Dr. Is confident and capable putting my comfort first. The procedure was painless and surprisingly quick. They have earned my business and will use them for all my dental needs.

This is a great office! Everyone is so friendly! The parking is very convenient and Dr. Nguyen is very knowledgeable, caring and patient. Everyone took their time to make sure I was comfortable with the procedure and they have the most up-to-date technology. I really appreciated the appointment reminders and I was shocked when I got a text the following day from the dentist to see how I was doing!!!! No Doctor or Dentist has ever done that before! I couldnt be more impressed with Dr. Nguyen and his team and I have recommended them to all of my friends and family. I have been driving 50 miles from Irvine for these appointments - I like them that much. Convenient Saturday appointments really help too.

As a new patient I absolutely loved my experience. I went in to get my wisdom tooth extracted and ever since I went in to make an appointment the service has been phenomenal. The receptionist is extremely nice and very genuine. Dr. Nguyens work is excellent, he is very efficient, quick and really put effort into making sure I was comfortable.The procedure went great! I would definitely recommend this dentist to others. Keep in mind that they use laser technology and everything was very updated. I have a PPO insurance plan which I do believe is generally what they accept beside of course cash patients.

Super friendly, I always feel at home. Experienced staff with up to date equipment. I also like that there is minimal wait time. The last dental office always had a long wait time and specialty dentist only came in on few days out of the month. With Upland Laser Dental there is zero to minimal wait time and Appointments aren’t extended based on specialties. Everything you need is already in-house.

The staff and dentists here are amazing!! Very friendly, they take the time to discuss procedures and answer any questions you have. Both my 7 year old son and I have had to have a lot of work done on our teeth, and both experienced NO pain from shots or work done because of special lasers they use! For anyone thinking about getting Invisalign here, do it. I have always been so self conscious about my teeth and I always wanted to fix them but being 19 and a full time college student can make getting braces difficult in many aspects. However, they have such amazing payment plan options that it made it easy for me, and they had a special for $500 off (they have specials a lot so keep your eyes open!) Appointments were easy and they worked around my hectic college schedule which was so great! The staff are so kind and extremely informative (as a 19 year that was important to me). I could keep going on, but if you’re looking at reviews thinking is this place worth it for braces for me, my kids, etc., I promise it is.

I was referred to upland laser dental center by a friend, I was taken care of right away. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. In the past when Ive went to the dentist I would often be surprised by extra cost that I didnt expect, but not this office they were upfront with all cost. I am sure a lot of you can agree with me about hating going to the dentist but let me tell you that since have been coming to this office for about 3 years now and since my first appointment I dont feel that way any more. The staff here are very professional and so friendly. I wont stop coming here just because one employee is rude or unprofessional they all dont have to pay for one of them. The Dr is super nice and the dental hygienist is super nice and gentle. My husband got treatment for the sleep apnea and again all of them were very supportive and helpful. Before finding Dr. Dat Nguyen I was terrified of going to the dentist. Not anymore! Everyone at Upland Smiles Dentistry is so friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. Dr. Nguyen is quick and efficient with all his services, he explains everything he is doing clearly and makes you feel comfortable and prepared for everything. I have been going here for about 3 months now, have had a cleaning and X-Ray, and cavities filled during two different appointments and every time I have experienced no discomfort during or after my procedures. Id like to start this one star review by saying that the one star has nothing to do with actual dental assistants and or dentists in the office (all of which were extremely professional and courteous.) I had switched to Upland Laser Dental last year because they were closer, and the service I received on my previous visit made me want to stay with them.Three weeks ago I scheduled an appointment on a day that was convenient with my work schedule (the closest date available) and I had made it clear that I wanted a full yearly checkup and also mentioned that I had lost a cap on one of my teeth that I wanted to take care of. Two days before my scheduled appointment, I was texted that there was not a doctor scheduled to be in the office for my appointment, so I would need to change the appointment. I asked for the closest date, which was 3 July, not a convenient date for me, but I texted my confirmation for 3 July. I then received confirmation that I was booked for TWO July. Eventually I was able to take care of this, no big deal.3 July comes, I take a half day off from work (the appointment was for 2PM), I arrive at the office and wait for 50 minutes to be taken in to see the dentist. The dentist then asks what I am there for, which I explain is for my yearly checkup as well as fixing my cap. I was then told that my appointment was only for the tooth and I would have to make a different appointment for my yearly exam. At which point, I decided to leave as I felt the office was wasting my time.I write this review more for the office than for anything. It seems abundantly clear based on my own experience as well as now having read the many reviews on Yelp and other rating sites that you have a reception problem. I hope you are able to fix this problem for your other customers, however, I will not be returning.

I have been coming to this dental office for years... Before he gave referral to young kids my daughter also came here. Basically everyone in my family. I recently switched insurance and never felt so under mined by someone (Michelle) the receptionist. She kept telling me she cant verify my insurance. And they way she told me was like I was lying about haveing insurance. Then she told me I gave her my medical card not my dentist card. Everything in a very sarcastic attitude. But then doctor called: and she was like yes doctor have fun doctor we are very busy doctor 2 very different attitudes... So they couldnt verify insurance and we rescheduled. Well I get a phone call today, asking if I am make it to my appointment, well I dont think so since I got a text message from MICHELLE on May 26, saying she still had trouble verifying insurance. She claims she never text me. And always so rude on the phone, arguing with me. I asked to speak to someone else and told her I cant deal with her and I would take my business else where. Its very unfortunate because I really like it here. And have been coming here for years. I gave it 2 stars because of the customer service I was offered by Michelle... But Dr. Nguyen is actually really good...

My son is very scared of the dentist and getting filling. The whole shot and drillong thing. Well since this office used the laser there was no pain and no shots. Also dr and assistant were amazing at helping him stay calm and explain what was going on. We have to go back for another filling but this time he should be ok to jump in the chair and zap the sigar bugs with the laser again.

I went into upland later dental today and from the moment I entered the establishment the staff made me feel like the most important person in the world. I was immediately greeted by none other than the great Dr. Nguyen who in a form of great respect shook my hand. After that I was bisked away to the lovely waiting area the looks as if it was designed by a famous designer. The arraignment! the colors! The aroma, simply breathtaking. After only waiting no more that 2 minutes I was escorted to the exam room. On The walk to the room I felt like a celebrity,I was greeted by the other staff, I could have sworn someone took my picture. I thought it couldnt get better, then I stepped into what could only be compared to the Garden of Eden.There are no words in existence that can justly describe the view out the window, such a tropic beauty I was waiting to see Muana walk by. Then I was treated to best cleaning ever, it was as if 1000 little masseuses where massaging each of my teeth with silk gloves. It was amazing thank you to the ladies of laser dental and thank you to the great, the mighty, the cleaner of teeths, the destroyer of gum disease, the fixer cavities and the crownputter DR. I have been following this Dentist since 2015.Finally I am his patient. For dental work. And Snoring. It is funny. But I feel Dentist Dat NGUYEN is saving my life.He recommended Sleep Study found out I wake up or stop breathing 23.5 an hr. My oxygen too very low. Have Sleep Apnea.I had my first treatment. No pain. No blisters. No disconfort. All affordable insurance covering some of the costs. I am so Thankful to Dr. And Staff.

I have a phobia of the dentist, that would make a 5 year old look like superman . so I have avoided it at all costs my entire life, due to my experiences as a child . Dr Nyugen and his staff are miracle workers. If I had them as my dentist when I was a child Im sure that my intense fear of the dentist wouldnt have occured! They are all so kind and understanding.
