2024-05-02 03:55:52I purchased all of my appliances for my condo remodel at Universal Appliance. Shawnie was my dedicated salesperson. There was an issue with the older model refrigerator that I had purchased at a discount. Universal Appliance replaced it with the most up-to-date model at the same price. It took a few months to get everything installed due to an issue with the refrigerator which was a manufacturing defect. Shawnie went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. If youre in need of new appliances, I highly recommend Universal.

2024-05-19 16:00:44I bought a wolf oven from US via Darren. It was not a cheap item to say the least. I had a lot of issue with the oven and unfortunately universal appliance would not help. Darren pretended he didn’t even know who I was when I eventually had to walk in and demand assistance. Now I am basically stuck with a 1/2 workong range. Everything he told me was a lie. Do not trust him or this company. Do not buy anything from universal appliance.

2021-12-14 20:46:09Bought all of my appliances from MD at the Calabasas store. Got me the best deal from all of the appliances stores that we went to, they set me up with a great package. The only down side was shipping timelines which I dont hold against the store of MD. Ultimately, everything worked out and looks great. Also, very happy with Thermador, they make a great product!

From answering my numerous phone calls, to staying past closing time showing products and comparing possibilities. He helped us leave with the best appliances and we couldn’t be happier and more excited for our home to come together. Thank you so much!

2022-12-10 06:10:06Terrible customer service! I purchased a Big Green Egg Barbecue and pretty much all the accessories that I really love but the fire ring cracked after about 2 years of use. I contacted Big Green Egg and they said they would honor the warranty claim but I have to go through the dealer only.I called Universal Appliance and the sales person said he would have my salesperson get back to me. It has now been a month! I have not received an acknowledgment or a call! There has been no help from them. I do not recommend this store for their poor customer service.I just purchased about $40,000.00 worth of high end appliances for my kitchen remodel from WDC instead of Universal because of their poor customer service. I do not recommend this store.

2023-03-14 06:13:39We love this place and especially love the help we’ve gotten from Darren and Jesse!!! We were able to get hard-to-find pieces, and although they had to be custom ordered, we knew well ahead of time how long each would take to come in. On top of that, we looked up all of the appliances we bought from Universal Appliance, including sinks, a grill, a clothes dryer, clothes styler, refrigerator, kitchen stovetop range, and more,… and each time we found that they gave us a better price than we could find anywhere else online!!!! So that says a lot. That says it all, really. But that’s not even the best part to us. The best part of all, is that the people there help you get what you are wanting and looking for. We have gotten and will continue getting all of the appliances and plumbing fixtures for our new home from Universal Appliances with the help of Darren and Jesse. They have not only found us the best prices, but they have also helped us pick out the type of appliances perfect for us. When I mention something, like the fact that I want unique fixtures and appliances, they come through with different colored sinks for us to choose from, shower fixtures that are now all the thing on the HGTV shows, and even our grill is literally one of the most fun and awesome things in our new home!!! We are very happy with them and would recommend them to friends and family and anyone looking to be happy with new appliances!!!

2021-12-14 20:24:26Worked with MD in Calabasas. He was able to get me the best deal of all of the places I looked and worked a good package for us. Only issue was shipping delays, but we have most of our appliances now. Very happy with Thermador!

2020-05-20 00:37:34Darren was my sales rep. He is extremely knowledgeable and was patient and detailed in helping my wife and I decide what built in refrigerator freezer would best fill our needs. His prices were competitive and everything from sale to the professional delivery and installation went very smooth. I would definitely recommend.

2022-07-09 19:16:28AVOID THIS PLACE!! Our salesperson Darren has been nothing but problems. Our emails and phone calls are never returned, and we still haven’t received a delivery date for our range hood we ordered in Oct.2021. The fridge we bought was delivered with a broken handle.We have made multiple attempts to order a new handle for the fridge and never heard anything. After three weeks of trying to contact someone to resolve the issue we finally called Thermador directly and they shipped one to our house. The customer service at this place is HORRIBLE!!!!

2021-10-01 00:07:55Bought a Wolf Range and Viking Downdraft from Tim. the purchasing phase went smooth, the delivery phase just as sooth. however, when the downdraft was to be installed, we noticed it came scratched, and ultimately missing parts necessary for its function. We notified Tim of the problem which he said he would reach out to viking himself to resolve it. we waited 3 weeks for him to get in contact with Viking, every time he said he was waiting. I understand they are difficult to get a hold of but I dont believe they are that hard for a dealer to get in contact with. I only say this because after 3 weeks of us waiting for Tim to hear from Viking we decided to reach out to them ourselves. we got an answer within 24 hours. like cmon, how do we regular customers get an answer in 24 hours but a salesperson cant get one in 3 weeks? makes me believe he never reached out to them in the first place. well Viking sent us replacement parts, however there was miscommunication and they sent us the wrong ones.This entire time from February until Mid September I have been nothing but patient, understanding and cordial towards Tim. I finally reached a breaking point on 9/19 and emailed him to resolve this issue ASAP. I was expecting him to at least acknowledge my request, but he has still yet to return my email. he said to me when I purchased the stove that the customer service doesnt end here, and we see youre happy till the end. well im not happy, a 20K investment I wish I would have bought anywhere else. Tim if youre seeing this, you should return my email and resolve this blunder on your end asap. Horrible customer service.
