I needed to replace carpet in the whole house so I began visiting all the top rated shops in the north county San Diego area. When I visited Unique Flooring, I explained what I was looking for and Erika helped me narrow down the best options for price and quality. Throughout the process Tony worked to get me any samples I was looking for, got me the best pricing on what I needed and worked with me during installation even while my schedule was changing. Juan did an amazing job on installation. After comparing the whole process with all the top rated flooring vendors in north county San Diego that quoted, I would say Unique Flooring had the best quality product for the price, the best service, and is the best of the best flooring company in north county.PRO tip: Never, and I mean NEVER use Home Depot flooring installation services to save a few bucks! I tried them for a small laminate area. You will regret it like I do. Just stick with Unique Flooring for everything!See my before and after pics...

Tony and his crew that replaced our aging downstairs wooden floor with attractive luxury vinyl planks were accommodating, knowledgeable, and efficient every step of the way. Each time a potential glitch appeared, Tony and his experienced father-son installation team knew how to handle it. Tony was flexible with installation schedules, and the job was finished a day ahead of the anticipated completion time. When the crew said 8:30 a.m., thats what they meant. Before the vinyl flooring job began, another of Tonys workers replaced a wooden bathroom floor with ceramic tile, with equal efficiency. It was a pleasure to have them working in our home, and Unique Flooring has our highest recommendation.

I had Unique Flooring install all new Vinyl and carpet in the house. The flooring was fabulous and the installers were highly skilled and easy to work with. The owner (Tony) came by the house every day to check on the progress and to see if I had any concerns. I really like this family owned small business. If you are looking for new floors, I highly recommend Unique Flooring. My wife and I were in the middle of a kitchen remodel and decided that we also wanted to replace the old carpet and vinyl we had in condo. We decided to check out Unique Flooring since it was close by and had great reviews. We first worked with Erica, who was very helpful and polite. She helped us find the luxury Vinyl we were looking for. Then we worked with Tony who help us through the rest of the process. Tony is the owner and was beyond professional and helpful. He gave us a great price and was very honest throughout the whole process. The crew that came out that installed the floor was very efficient, fast, and clean. They were also very polite and did a great job from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Unique Flooring to anyone that is looking to get new floors. We just had our flooring installed in our 2 story home and they also had to do quite a few repairs to our concrete from cracks in the foundation in 2 rooms (the price for that was disclosed up front since you never know what will be under the carpet when you pull it up), plus a holiday weekend and rain and they still had it done in just over a week. It took us over 2 years to pull the trigger on this, I really wish we hadnt waited so long. Were still moving our things in and everythings a mess so our pictures arent that great but the flooring is perfect. The carpet guys went above and beyond and moved our kitty litter box and filled the cats water and food when they put it all downstairs when they got here. Our carpet is so plush and the transitions and baseboards are perfect. The workers were definitely experts at their craft and the showroom to pick everything out was perfect, Im super indecisive and was able to choose both in 15 minutes. I know this flooring will last for many years, I highly recommend this company and just getting it done- it has made a huge difference in the comfort and peace level in our home. Ive used Unique Flooring twice now, for replacing carpet with laminate flooring in my townhouse. The first time was to do the downstairs and they did a very nice job. Enough so, that I recently called them back to do the two bedrooms upstairs. Both times, the work done was of good quality, their installers were courteous and cleaned up after the work was done, and my floors look wonderful! Tony is great to work with and stays in contact with you throughout the job. I am very satisfied with the work theye done and highly recommend them.

Tony and his son and team at Unique Flooring did an absolutely fantastic job on our brand new home in Oceanside. They were very quick to reply to our initial inquiry, worked with us to build out a quote that worked within our budget with top of the line materials, and were extremely detailed with outlining the install process, steps, and possible variables we might encounter so there were no surprises upon install.Incredibly, they were able to pull up the carpet, grind even the concrete slab, and install the full first floor with luxury vinyl within 4 days. They even reinstalled our stove and bathroom sink complimentary.Lastly, even the attention to detail on our baseboards was fantastic, they look even better than the brand new boards our original builder installed.

First let me start off by saying that Tony and his crew are the perfect example of what customer service is suppose to be. From our fist interaction and impression we knew they were going to be the company we would work with.Even though they’re a small family owned business, they have a gargantuan selection of product. We just used Unique Flooring to install our hardwood floors. We had carpet in our living room and had left over wood from years ago, when we did the rest of the house and now wanted to put in it place of the carpet and they did a Great job flowing it in with the existing wood that was already there.It looks like it was all done at the same time!I would definitely use them again, it was all done in a day and they did a good job cleaning up afterwards too, which I appreciate. We had new carpet and vinyl plank flooring installed throughout our home. Unique Flooring has a nice selection, and we found what we wanted there after visiting at least a dozen flooring businesses. Everyone we spoke to was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive, and they were able to schedule both jobs to be done soon. The jobs were completed in the time expected. The quality of work was excellent, and we were highly pleased with our experience as well as our new floors. We highly recommend giving them your business if you need flooring installation.

Amazing and awesome floor experience, from beginning to end. The owner Tony is very nice and knowledgeable. He gave me vinyl plank flooring samples to take home, ordered the floors, and had them installed by his very hard-working, efficient, friendly crew in only 3 days! His crew arrived on time every day and cleaned up after themselves. Tony even came to our home to check his teams progress and kept me informed of any additional costs for the concrete required to level the surface before the VPL could be installed. I was under a very tight time schedule due to my job, and the floors were done 2 days early which made me very happy. We had new flooring installed in our living room, kitchen and the master bathroom in October 2022 by Unique Flooring. The work required installing of about 1,000 sq feet of vinyl tiles in the areas that abut carpeted areas or stairway and three steps. The whole process of purchasing and installation was much less seamless and painful than I anticipated based on other expenses that I had.Tonys team of estimator, installers and also the carpet installer at the end to troubleshoot the carpeted areas that abut the newly installed tiles was all efficient and excellent. There were no delays of any significance, and everything was done to the highest quality in timely manner (5 days total!).Looking at the whole installation process and the customer experience I had with Unique Flooring two months later, I would recommend his company to anyone looking install any types of flooring. All of the special care they took to make sure all of the steps, transition to entryway and stairway, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities was exceptional. Even the areas that had to be caulked because you couldnt put any transitional pieces looked perfectly matched with the newly installed tiles. I believe their brand service is very hard to find anywhere.Without a doubt, I would recommend Unique Flooring for anyone looking to buy and install their flooring.

I cant say enough good things about our experience at Unique Flooring. From the time we first walked in, we were treated with great respect, and all of our questions were answered. We were able to take multiple samples home over the weekend multiple times while we tried to narrow down what we wanted in our home. Once we nailed down the scope and got the carpet and padding ordered, we were installing within 2 weeks. Tony was very helpful in scheduling our 3 day project (we had a lot of tile demo). He was extremely flexible to make sure it worked with our schedule as well. It turned out we had a few hiccups along the way (no fault of Unique Flooring). Our first hiccup was the tile demo. Nearly 2 full days of demo were required as the thinset was rather thick. Miguel and his crew were able to tackle it head-on. Hiccup two was when some mold was discovered. Unique Flooring was able to work with us and with the mold remediation team to handle that as well as another contractor to repair the wall. Even though it delayed Unique Flooring, they were able to work with us on it, never complaining once to us. Our final hiccup was our doing. Once we got the new baseboards, we talked with Tony and Miguel about changing the size over the existing tile to make it look more uniform with the lower carpet. Without questioning, Miguel ended up driving out to the vendor and picking up what we needed and got it installed. Even with the hiccups/audibles, Unique Flooring finished after the 3 days, right on time. We are so beyond happy with the team. We have zero complaints, and we look forward to hiring them for every flooring project at our house. Hands down the BEST contractor experience we have ever had. Go with Unique Flooring. They wont let you down.

We had a slab leak and had to have all our flooring replaced. After visiting 4 different flooring stores/installers, we decided on Unique Flooring because of the excellent customer service, fair prices, and prompt scheduling. I am SO glad we went with them. Tony, the owner, is so down to earth and friendly. He genuinely cares about each customer and made sure to check in frequently. If I had any concerns or worries, I could reach him easily and he always made sure everything was taken care of and done to my satisfaction (which is no easy task!). His crew that installed our engineered hardwood was Fred Herrera and his team. They were AMAZING. They took great care with my home, and went above and beyond to help with even the little things. I was so pleased, I again went through Unique Flooring for having my glass tile backsplash installed. Once again, I was not disappointed. We are very happy with our experience at Unique Flooring. We were able to bring home large floor samples from their showroom and actually see how the material would look in our home. They were easy to work with so much so that we used them to install the material we chose. We have a two story home and they worked with our preference to split the job into two jobs months apart to work with our schedules. The crew that came to work on the upstairs was an awesome father-son team named Celestino and Alex. They were kind, professional, and explained the work they were doing as they did it. They also worked with us to make it as easy as possible on our toddler and he only had to sleep out of his room for one of the five nights of the job. They were considerate of our family and respected that our first priority while they were working and after they left for the night was safety for our son and our dog and went above and beyond to make the house as safe as possible during renovations. Unique provided a wide variety of options for us to replace the 30 year old flooring in the home we purchased in July 2021. Had majority of our 3000 sq ft flooring re done by Unique Flooring. It’s pretty straight forward; showroom is great with a ton of options and Erika is very professional, ordered our floors which were on back order but ended up coming in early so they started and finished the job about one month ahead of schedule, then the actual install by Javier and Juan was pretty much flawless. Took a week and a half to do the job which was pretty quick, Juan and Javier worked their asses off. Really just so happy with everything all together. Our kitchen and dining room will be next and we will absolutely utilize Unique Flooring for that. We recently purchased a house and wanted to remove the carpet upstairs and on the staircase and replace with vinyl plank and add all new baseboards throughout the entire house. After researching and receiving multiple quotes, we chose to move forward with Unique Flooring for a few reasons. They provided us with competitive pricing where the estimate provided made sense, great customer service from the beginning from the owner himself, Tony, they didnt try to upsell us into a more expensive vinyl plank option and were respectful, responsive and reliable. The flooring install did take about 2 weeks but there was a lot of work to be done; the contractors worked as fast as they could. I always suggest doing your research, reading reviews, asking a lot of questions to make sure youre comfortable but we were content with our selection of Unique Flooring. I dont think any install work can be 100% perfect but the flooring and baseboards turned out really great and we are happy with our experience. We plan on using them again in the future!

Working with Unique Flooring of San Diego to tile the three rooms in my house was like working with family. Theres Tony who is like the hovering parent, always there making sure all your needs get met, doing the impossible. There is Pablo who actually does the tile work. I felt sorry for how hard he had to work, but I felt grateful when I saw how the floors turned out. Theres the baseboard guys who did such a meticulous job making everything look perfect. Tony and his crew installed about 1300 square feet of wood floor, new baseboards and tiled my fireplace. I wasn’t living in my house yet and lived about 40 minutes away, but I never had to worry because Tony either called me with updates or was extremely easy to reach. They came to the rescue when the installer we hired had to leave town unexpectedly, and our furniture was going to be delivered. I just bought a house with 80% carpet and as a pet owner this wasn’t ideal for me. I wanted to redo everything fresh and new which can become pricey especially with replacing carpet with laminate. Unique flooring had the best prices out of all the companies I contacted. I searched with over 5 companies and had them give me quotes but unique flooring had them beat. I’ve had a lot of work done lately on my home but the crew of three: Lead Celestino, Francisco, and Alex laid the floors and were fantastic on the detail, the communication, and their downright hard work! I would like to say that my mother Dora Kelly is very pleased with the job and care that Unique Flooring has done here in the Oceanside office. From picking out the carpet for her living room, hallway and bedrooms to the kitchen flooring they take the time to see what kind of carpet fits for you. She has a house dog so they suggested a carpet for pets a water and stain resistant. Their price was very reasonable. Even the men who come and install your carpet are very helpful and friendly. I was getting lunch for my mom and my hands was full, one of the men was very helpful in giving me a hand in bringing the drinks in which I thought that was excellent service. Over a year ago we bought a condo in Oceanside while living out of state. After closing, we wanted to have the carpet replaced with vinyl before we moved in. I had read the great reviews for Unique Flooring and decided to go with them and their bid was best. Tony Oliva was wonderful to work with. He helped us find the flooring right for us with high end looks and wearbility of dogs in mind. We looked at floorings in our nearest city and talked them over via phone with Tony. You get what you pay for. While I didnt walked away feeling like I scored a major deal pricewise, Ive had my floors for a year and a half now and can fairly comment. They were prompt, professional, and timely. They recommended things against our ideas, which we accepted, and they have proven excellent. Tiles were flush, grout finely sealed, and edges meet well wherever they connect. Anyhow, were going back to have our upstairs done and are willing to pay for what we want: lasting quality.

We recently had new laminate floors installed by Unique Flooring. The process was seamless, from start to finish. Shaun came out and measured the same day I talked to him. It was a Saturday, and we got the estimate from Tony the next business day which was Monday. We put our deposit on it Tuesday, and had the floor installed on Thursday and Friday by Francisco & another guy (Emilio?). I like the fact that they have their own employees who know the product.
