This is my honest review of Ultimate Staffing Services in Irvine, and specifically my representative, Whitney OCallaghan.Our firm occasionally hires temporary administrative staff, and we have used a handful of different companies over the years. The results have been mixed and the process was generally a bit of a headache. This time, I was looking for a different staffing company to help us find an Admin/Receptionist and came upon Whitneys name, so I gave her a call. Whitney was immediately responsive, energetic and helpful. I had a good conversation with her about what my concerns were based on temps weve had in the past, and also what we were looking for in this 1-month, full-time position. No joke - I had 5 excellent candidates to review in less than 24 hours. Each person I interviewed, I think would have been great. The person we ended up choosing for the 4-week position was terrific. She dressed professionally, she learned the tasks quickly, she worked very well independently, she was good with our clients, and she was such a pleasant person to have on our team. Whitney is an absolute pro - I learned that she has been in the industry for many years, and it was no surprise to me. Its refreshing to know that when we need a temp or temp-to-perm position filled, we have a true staffing professional to work with.

It’s been 13 years since I last used a staffing service to find work because of the major negative experiences that I’ve had. This staffing company is the best one I’ve worked with out of the other 22+ staffing companies I’ve tried. They are usually very responsive, and if they aren’t then sister branches (I.e. Ontario or Brea) can be called and then redirect you to the appropriate branch. They work tirelessly to get you a job, and they will personally guide you through the onboarding process. Also, they are very efficient and straightforward - I got a job about a week after calling them! I simply explained my situation (needed a temp job for ~3-4 weeks only), and seemingly off the top of their heads they recommended me several different positions, from which I picked one. As everyone has experienced, navigating the adult world on my first big girl job search was a very challenging experiencing. One night, as I was scrolling on LinkedIn for the 30th time that hour, I came across a job posting from Ryan McCray at Ultimate Staffing for an HR position. I must say that this was the best decision that I have made career wise in many years. I had the privilege of meeting Andrew Yi through my daughter who was searching for a job. I was working with another agency, that undercut my pay by 25%, but I needed the job and we could barely live on what they paid. So I called Andrew and asked about any jobs he might have in the cue.
