Went to get my hair done with Katharine Solis, she said she could do platinum blonde like I asked, she wasn’t able to color my roots the first session so she told me to go back the next day to finish her work, I did as she told me, everything was okay. But then next day I went and she did highlights on my roots with bleach and then left me there for more than 40mins as she went to her break and left me alone, it seemed that she wasn’t in a good mood.When she came back she put more bleach on my hair and then said it was getting gummy so she had to quickly rinse off but my hair was so processed it started to FALL OFF. When she was washing my hair I heard her say something along the lines of “this was bound to happen” and went to the trash to throw away chunks of hair that had fallen off. I wanted to cry when she started to brush my hair and she told me it was very delicate and that I shouldn’t even brush it, as I stood up I saw the floor covered in my hair and I touched my hair and as I smooth it out it wouldn’t stop falling. There was another client there and she was also surprised on how long strands of my hair were falling off from the root.I told Katharine and she said it was normal since she had bleached it, I was so mad that I wanted to leave, but she kept saying that it was completely normal but I’ve had my hair bleached before and it is not normal, I use to have a lot of hair (I remember Katharine saying how I had hard strong hair) but now pieces of my hair are missing around my temples (my hair now parts from those sides as you can tell from the picture) and my hair volume is so small.She over processed my hair and now I can’t even brush it because it breaks from the root or even straighten it since it looks so little hair. I never write reviews, especially bad ones but I’m so disappointed because my hair has NEVER been this damaged and thinned in my entire life. I left crying, please save your money, because they charged me almost $400, and go to another salon.

The store is clean and new… but the staff really are lacking in customer service. I picked up orders two days in a row, and I was not acknowledged by anybody at the register for minutes BOTH times even though I was the only one waiting. I had to walk over and ask someone else for my pick up order and it took them forever to get it to me. It would’ve been faster for me just to buy it in store. It was a big waste of time to purchase online and took away the whole convenience of it all. Also, drive up was not an option. It doesn’t take much effort to acknowledge a customer and say, “I’ll be right with you” or to explain that they don’t know the system yet.

Every time I come here I regret it. I usually only do returns here. I refuse to do business here. The sales people are always huddled together talking. When you ask for help they look at you with attitude, because you interrupted their conversation. They are rude, and there is only cashier. Yesterday I was there and the line was long and only one cashier. There was a girl behind the counter on here phone. I ask if she could help, she said she can’t ring right now. But then rang up an employee who didn’t wanna wait in the long line.

This place is a toy store for women, killer selection, if you need anything in beauty makeup, perfume, hair color...etc, etc...you name it, they got itFast and friendly staff, even when it was super busy, they have many check out clerks, 😊

Went to Ulta in La Habra and Katherine helped me today. I love coming to her because she ALWAYS delivers. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair care and colors. I LOVE the fact that when I show her a picture of what Id like, she goes above and beyond to match and even gives it her own Lil flare and ends up looking better than expected. Katherine truly shows her interest in your vision of what you want your hair to be and love that she is totally upfront and honest. It truly shows that hair care is her passion and it shows in her work. Will definitely be recommending her to my family and friends, I Even got compliments from people before I left the store! Give her a try, youll be glad you did!

Is it really necessary to ask 5 different times for phone number or email? I said no thanks just the items.At the end I was asked if i knew someone with a phone number for rewards. Why was my first refusal not enough? The customer next to me gave his number for my transaction. Management ought to have less strict metrics so the cashiers dont have to continue asking when the customer declines.

One thing that really upsets me is this store Never answers there phone!!!! Looking for new Elf products, Well you need to drive there and then the product isnt in yet!!! Thus happens all the time!!!

It is a very clean and organized establishment. Shelves were stocked and easily accessible.The ladies who worked that night were very nice, accommodating, and attentive. Normal foot traffic during business hours but at night it is fairly slow.Im sad they ONLY had freebies if you opened a credit card - Ive never experienced that ☹ and they didnt have the brand I originally went in for but, nonetheless, good experience.

Outstanding Service, goes above and beyond to insure that my hair looks fabulous!!! I’ve been getting my hair done by Katharine for over two years she is a professional that explains in detail the process/procedure. She always has her clients best interest in mind.
