The ordering and delivery process was great. The shed is exactly as I had hoped. Customer service was a little hard to get ahold of, but everything showed up on schedule.

Ulrich Barns is a fraud. Upper management should definitely go to prison for defrauding customers. They collect initial fees and then forget about your project. They have no knowledge of local permitting process, cannot add up numbers to calculate correctly the sq footage of the building, have delay after delay for no good reason, do not respond to communication. Do not work with them. They are fraudsters.

Ulrich is amazing! Wonderful customer service, beautiful sheds that are high quality and built sturdy, customizable, and competitively priced.I have used Ulrich for my shed purchase and also for a shed move.Both experiences were seamless and easy. I would highly recommend Ulrich.

Dont use this company if youre looking for a shed in a professional or timely manner! (See updates at the end of this review).We ordered our shed in early September and were told it would be about 9 weeks to delivery. Its now February (5 months later!) and we still have no sign of it. After being left in the dark for months, the owner said he would personally see to it that our order was taken care of properly and efficiently.They are currently working on their THIRD attempt at getting the permitting paperwork correct for the city. (This last time they forgot critical documents).The owner promises to contact us with updates at certain times and never does. We always have to track him down for answers. We have never received an apology and there is no sense of urgency. The customer service is non existent.When youre spending top dollar on a shed that costs over $16,000- the very least you would expect is customer appreciation/care. Its infuriating.Small delays are understandable- this is carelessness.We are disappointed to say the least. Will update if the product ever shows up.Update! Its been 6 and a half months and still no change. They still cant seem to get permitting together.After several more failed attempts to get an answer from ANYONE at this place- weve decided to pull the plug.(Check out the yelp reviews youll find more unsatisfied customers.)We put a $1000 deposit down so Ill let you know here whether or not they have the moral standards to give that back.Almost 7 months of waiting and zero action. What a waste of time and frustration. Go elsewhere!Update.....we canceled the contract over a month ago and Ulrich promised to return our deposit. Still havent received. The most dishonest and unprofessional company Ive ever done business with. Continues to give us the run-around. Unreal.

Tuff Sheds cant compare to the quality, selection, service and versatility of Ulrich Barns, Garages and Sheds. The customer service I received was only matched by Michelles professional knowledge of their product lines and pricing. Even though my landlord wouldnt approve my shed project, I got far more than a place to store my stuff, I got a job working there as a Sales Consultant for Barns and Garages.I was so impressed with the companys product lines and core values for how they do business, I did even more research to find out their back story is one that inspired me to join their cause. I will do that through providing quality lifestyle structures, helping families live more memorable and organized lives, by being a world class organization with an eternal focus to serve over a million families in the next ten years.With new locations opening every year, do yourself a favor and stop by one of them to see for yourself how their living their dream by helping you realize one of yours.

I had been over to their Paso Robles display center several times to research all that was needed to have one of their Utility Sheds delivered to our home. We had already researched TuffSheds and found Ulrich Barns to be superior in their construction, customer service, selection, onsite available inventory and pricing. They even offer a Rent to Own purchase program to make the purchase options for homeowners seem almost limitless. Michelle has been fantastic each time we have come in. Great customer service Michelle.Review update:I wanted to add an important change to this review. I actually went to work for this company last year, but after only a month I decided to quit due to the poor training or lack thereof that I didnt receive. Thats because even after asking the Sales Director on three different occasions to provide me additional training or should I say initial training on the software needed in order to provide potential customers a bid for a new garage or pole barn. That was my assigned product line I was charged to sell.The software used was Quickbooks Professional. This software is not something you can learn overnight. In order to build a estimate you must input key words that in turn will bring up a list of pricing items that could be selected to be added to the line items used to total up all the standard and optional features wanted by the potential customer.In short I was unable to properly and efficiently generate a bid for my potential customer as a result of not knowing what key words were needed to access the coded features in the software. Based on this critical necessity of understanding needed to complete an estimate for getting a customer to be willing to commit to making a purchase, I gave my notice to leave and find work elsewhere.In addition to this I stopped by recently to get an update on ordering a shed for my home. The original bid was approximately 4k.Now I was told that the exact same shed that I had received an estimate on prior to being hired was now going to cost me 16k because of price increases. I said how could the cost have risen that much in just under a year. The only answer given was due to materials cost increases. I of course declined and asked how many sales had taken place since the price increase. I was told a figure that was a mere fraction of the original quote. Its important to remember that I was ordering a shed that was 10 wide x12 deep x 7 height without windows or interior insulation.I would not recommend this place for anyone, not even someone who has the money. Hire someone to build it onsite. Call another company, or build it yourself. Any company thats not willing to properly train their sales staff or must raise their prices by over 400% in less than a year isnt a company thats going to be there down the road when I may have a problem. There FOCUS IS SOLELY ON PROFITS NOT SELLING AT A FAIR MARKET PRICE BY A QUALIFIED AND WELL TRAINED SALES PERSON.

The sales staff, Michelle, was incredibly helpful and help us organize to put together the purchase of our shed. Alejandro and his working mate Did a great job putting up the structure in what I would consider record time. They look for all the small things so that I didn’t have anything to complain about.Zach did a great job of making sure that they were coming at a convenient time in a timely manner to build my shed.

Although I havent made any purchase, their prices are reasonable their quality above average and her customer service is excellent. When Im ready, Im planning on using them.

Need to vet their recommended sub contractors; check for a contractors license before hiring anyone they recommend!
