After 9 months at UEI College, I can say for myself that this institution is disappointing. There are plenty of ups and downs. The administration itself is more profit inclined than the welfare of their students and the instructors.This institution has no representation for the Veterans and this is highly disappointing.The Technical Students are neglected from the focus of the administration. The Technical Students are receiving 75% of the GI Bill. To receive full benefits the student has to record 22 hours to be considered full benefits, the students record 20 hours. The administration has mad no attempts to accommodate for those 2 hours. I am confident with a VA representative, as Veterans we would not be neglected from utilizing full benefits from the GI Bill.I entered the Automotive Technical program and lucked out with some passionate and experienced instructors. The whole course needs to be restructured, I would say 60% of the modules are irrelevant to what is current day mechanics. I understand that the basics are needed but practical applications are as important to ensure that the students are getting what they are paying for from this school. Thankfully this college has Joe and Gabe, without these teachers their knowledge, expertise, and passion for the trade I dont believe this college would be worth the time and effort.With the knowledge that I have gained from Gabe. His mantra is to always adapt to the ever evolving field of auto mechanics. His highlights would have to be when he utilize his own tools; especially the Pico Scope. This equipment work wonders in dissecting a automobiles issue and pinpointing the diagnosis to better understand the methods to find the source for the problem. The point is Gabe is the solution for the outdated curriculum.If the administration for this college truly care for the students and their instructors: take the time to listen to their instructor. The sale is good for the profit of a business but it takes a lot more to prove quality service throughout the process.

I really enjoyed my HVAC class because it provided me with practical skills and hands-on experience that are essential for the field. The course was engaging, and the instructor made complex concepts easy to understand. Additionally, my career advisor, Melissa, was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She guided me through career options and helped me plan effectively, ensuring that I could focus on my studies with a clear career path in mind. Melissa’s support and expertise were invaluable, and I am grateful for her assistance in making my education journey smoother and more manageable.

I am beyond grateful for the chance to finally pursue my dream of furthering my career after 15 years of being a wife and a mother to three children. Thank you Career Services for bringing Dr Mostafian to speak to our MA and PT students today. She was great and let our students know what expectations she has of her medical assistants. Ms. McCoy, Mr. Pontius, and Mr. Yanez also asked great questions too that helped further their students understanding of what to expect out in the field!

All I did was request information on the school and literally within 4 seconds I hot a phone call... and another.... and another... and they literally have not stopped harassing me at least 16 - 26 phone calls a day. The only day I dont get calls is on Sundays. Its been 2 weeks now and they still wont stop even though I have told them I am not interested and asked for them to please stop calling me. They use multiple phone numbers and have caused me a lot of grief. DO NOT HIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER. YOU WILL REGRET IT.I just got another call and I will post every time I get another call until it stops.

Currently a student at UEI Oceanside. I’m attending the Electrical program. Looking forward to graduating in October and getting to get to work in my career. The hands on training is really cool and helpful for those of us who prefer to learn more hands on/in person. My instructors, as well as the front office are all super helpful. Would recommend any of their programs to anyone wanting lower debt and the opportunity to get into the work force and paying down your debts sooner than the traditional college route.

It’s barely my first day and I already feel so comfortable and connected with the staff and students here. There are so many great opportunities here and so much help for anything you’re interested in. My professor Miss Q is super awesome super helpful and very engaged with all her students. I can’t wait to finish the rest of my academic year here.

I’ve only been here for 4 weeks and so far it has been good. I wish there was a more in depth class on how to use the website because I was confused for the first two weeks of class. Other than that Ms. McCoy has done a great job at lecturing, keeping the class running and sharing personal experiences that make me excited to be out in the field.

Everyone at the school is friendly and helpful, the courses are hands on and easy to follow along with at a good pace. My teacher Mr. Axel Benitez is providing real world experience and constantly providing positive guidance and motivation to encourage me to succeed.
