The people that work in this store are super knowledgeable and helpful. They’ve helped me several times- once when my iPhone home button went out and I thought I’d have to replace my phone- these guys saved it for a fraction of the cost of a new phone! Another time my toddler (who we call the Apple genius for her propensity to get into a locked phone and make calls, send texts, change, delete, rearrange apps and cause all kinds of mayhem) did who knows what to my phone and made it unusable to me. The guy working there knew exactly what to do and fixed it for me in about 1 minute. I’m very grateful to have found this store. Highly recommend!!

These guys are lifesavers! I had an appointment with the Geek Squad a Best Buy planned weeks in advance to change the battery on my iPhone. Then, they call me the day of saying they don’t have the battery I need and they’ll have to order it. Apparently they don’t check what equipment they need until 24 hours before the appointment, even though they know it will take days or weeks for parts to come. So unprofessional! So I was left scrambling to find a battery replacement before my flight out of the country, and these guys came through! They had the battery and they take walk ins and my phone was good as new within about 1.5-2 hours.Thank you guys!

We brought in our Nintendo Switch for an issue with the micro SD card reader, and after explaining the problem to the tech, he diagnosed the issue right away (a small wire had come loose). After he determined it was not necessary to replace any hardware, he called and told us that he would not be charging us for the repair. I am very grateful for their honestly and prompt service, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs electronic repairs!

Incredible service! I had a problem with the disc drive on my Nintendo Wii and they quickly fixed it and now it’s good as new with absolutely no problems at all! The staff was also friendly and communicated extremely well. If you ever have a problem with your electronics you definitely need to go here!

Highly recommend. Scheduled an appointment online, which was super easy. I thought my lightening port for my iphone was loose or needed replacement, as it wouldnt charge and my wired headphone kept kicking out. Turned out there was just some dirt in there that they cleaned out. Nice to see there are honest businesses willing to do do whats best for their customer. Thanks. and I will be back.

This location replaced the screen on my wifes pixel 5a (covered under Google warranty) super quick. Took them maybe an hour to do the physical screen, but they ran into some complications completing diagnostics that required a factory reset of the device. They kept me well informed through the whole process. Great work and super polite.

Came in for a phone that was not charging. They correctly diagnosed that a supplemental battery pack was defective. My company will have to buy a new one but the staff here was instrumental in getting me back in business. I have used them before for personal phone issues and they always perform above and beyond. Having a 17yr old son is wonderful but fixing his phone every month is not. So every time he breaks his phone they have been able to fix it within an hour as long as they had the parts. My son is new driver and he must have communication and I need a way to track him so not having a phone is just not an option. They have always worked with us and we always get the best service. I dont know what I would do with out this place. They are a lifesaver!

Stay as far away from these guys as you can!!! They will lie to you about how severe an issue is to con you into a repair that isnt all that necessary. Part of the sales pitch for replacing a screen with a crack so small it is of no danger to the phone, is to tell you that since its the item being repaired, the 1 year warranty will cover any screen repairs. Then if its time to actually follow through on this promise, they claim its not covered under warranty as listed in the fine print. If you call the corporate office to complain, they will happily admit over the phone that they know no one reads all of the fine print, but its binding anyway! As consideration the corporate office will offer a $50 coupon if you do *another* $300 repair with them. Complete charlaitains. If you need a repair, go somewhere else - dont walk away, run!Edit: In response to the charlatains as they signed their comment, they are skipping over where their employee very specifically told me verbally that because it was a broken screen being repaired, if the screen broke again during the warrantee period, it would be replaced. The owner and I have spoken, he knows for a fact what I was told, all the way down to the exact employee that I spoke with. Since that employee no longer works for the company, he was able to lie to the corporate office and claim that it was the owner that took the order. Since the service they provided wasnt really necessary and was sold based on being told it would create a warranty period, the ethical thing to do would be to either honor the committment, or refund the original repair cost.Side note: NOT accreddited with the BBB. Huge red flag. Since Zach chose to reply to my review here and on Yelp, I decided to go ahead and post a review to BBB also. The business doesnt need to be accreddited for that. To Zach: You know for a fact what I was told, its not too late to do the right thing, but your sleazy used car salesman approach methodology of running a business Im sure will stop you from doing that.

I brought my iPhone 14 Pro Max in for a full screen replacement, they noted it would take 45-60 minutes to repair. I left, stopped at the store and went home to do a few things, and sure enough right around 40ish or so minutes after dropping off my phone, they called letting me know it’s ready for pick up. I was blown away honestly, 5/5 stars for quick and honest work. And another 5/5 for a clean finish, I can certainly say I’m IMPRESSED with the results!!! Today is 01/04/24, I do not remember the employee who was working when I was there at 4pm, but he was very friendly and I walked out of the store with a smile!!! Another satisfied customer 😎😎

Sadly, this place didnt deliver to the level that the other reviews eluded to. I brought a Pixel 2 XL here for a screen repair on a cracked screen. The phone was only 12 days old. When dropping off the phone I was immediately weirded out after seeing the level of damage that was reported. According to this company, a 12 day old device had scratches in more than 5 areas. The device was visually perfect other than the screen.The screen repair was complete and I picked up my device. I told the team I trusted them when I picked it up. After booting up the device, I noticed there was something putting pressure on the screen from below. This was certainly not there prior to the screen repair. And, obvious enough that anyone who turned the device on would have noticed it. After a few hours went by, the pressure turned into an area of broken pixels in the screen. For a company certified to perform Google device repairs, Im less than impressed. At this point Id rather go to another company, or do it myself, since they cannot replace the screen without creating more imperfections. Ive given the company an opportunity to refund for the repair, which they have declined. They have put the blame on Google even though this is obviously the fault of repair.**UPDATE**Disappointed with the response to my review. Clearly they are trying to put the blame on me as to why my screen had an imperfection. I have timestamped photos to prove that this was due to their repair! This company is an absolute joke. They even told me to bring it in for them to replace the screen. I declined. Spend your money elsewhere.

My Iphone 13 stopped charging. Went to Verizon store, and they told me I was eligible to “upgrade” to a newer model. Not interested in new model or paying more. I have insurance so I could have easily gotten a replacement, but didn’t want a refurbished phone if possible (plus it’s a pain in the A setting up new phone). This place was right across the street. Walked in and Gio took care of me. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Plus, they didn’t charge me because it was only a clean out. I’m so happy that I saw this place and HIGHLY recommend.

I have used these guys twice now. They fixed my MAC that everyone said was un fixable, and Felix was able to recover my sons phone after he locked it out. I went to the cell phone store and on the phone with tech support for over an hour with now fix. Felix had it fixed and out the door in mins. If you want your stuff fixed the first time then this is your place. They are outstanding at what they do.

Fantastic and speedy service. I brought my Pixel 7 Pro here two months after cracking my screen when I realized I was paying Googles monthly preferred care (including accidental damage) all along. They repaired the screen within a couple hours and threw in a screen protector all for no more than the cost of the deductible ($29 in this case). I was served by two different guys and both were knowledgeable, attentive and professional. I was also informed about the Asurion home electronics insurance program they offer, which is a really great plan to consider if you have a lot of home electronics.

We had been dealing with a phone that was having issues charging for the past few months. Finally I decided to seek professional help. I went online and found that there was a ubreakifix store located close to our home. I was even able to schedule and appointment online. We took the phone in this morning and in just a few minutes Felix was able to assess and fix the problem. Dropped off a phone that was boot looping and was told I couldnt get an estimate for the cost because it depends on parts (makes sense). They said I would get it back in a week and get a call a day or two later. A week later I call and they say tomorrow Ill get it back. The next day I call and they say theyll know by tomorrow. The next day I call and they say that the parts arrive tomorrow. The next day I call and they say they cant fix it. A waste of almost two weeks and a lot of driving and calling. They also didnt pick up the phone on five different occasions on different days during their operating hours. A generous 2 stars instead of 1 because while they were disorganized and unable to fix it, everyone I talked to was polite and competent, and I didnt have any major problems, just an unsuccessful visit and series of calls.

I have been coming here because they used to do a good job.Long story short. My daughter usually takes her phone to the shower and sings while showering. Never had an issue even after Iee fixed her other phone. It was still good to go for the shower. My daughters screen cracked. She is 9 years old, and I told her that she could pay half and I would pay the other half. I wanted to teach her a lesson so she could be more mindful of how to take care of things. I came over 1 week ago to fix her phone, paid over $200 with a new screen protection. Yesterday, while she was in the shower, it stopped working. I came here to let them know what happened and spoke with Brian. I asked the manager because they wanted to charge another $200 to start. They didnt give me the managers name, nor did they let me talk to him to fix this issue and see what if they could do to solve this problem. ( bad business )The parts that they use were not original apple parts. Today I ask them, why didnt they offer the originals parts? He said: its usually reserve for insurances. I said, what? So you are putting parts that are not original? And Brian said yes, because its a lower price. I said: why didnt you offered the original part. And the excuse came around. Bottom line. Disappointment at this business; I couldnt talk to a Manger, they do not offer original apple parts, and they want you to pay again for a diagnostic. I will not recommend them due to the fact that they dont use originals parts as well as you cant talk to a manager when a problem occurs.Updating my review. I have the new samsung flip 4, I called so many places and none of them were able to fix the Flip 4 screen/hidge issue I was having. I ended up going to the Samsung + care website and it listed places of certified Samsung repair shops. This happened to be one of them near my job. Sure, they had to order the parts for my phone and was left without it for about 3 days, I did not mind at all. They kept me updated about everything and when I got my fold screen back it looked brand new ! So glad I found this place. Matt was great! And staff was so kind, got my moneys worth thats for sure.

This place is really good. Usually takes 45 minutes to fix and they don’t lie about what you need. I suggest you call and ask if the screen you need is in-stock, they always have been for me but doesn’t hurt to call, and they’ll give you the honest price to fix. I had an excellent experience with my technician, Jon. I need my data transferred from an old phone with a broken, unusable screen, to my new one. The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable as they walked me through the whole process. They took my concerns seriously and made sure I was satisfied with the outcome before returning my phones to me. The price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend using uBreakiFix in San Marcos. One side note to be aware of, they occasionally do have a long wait time and no real queue system, so you will have to wait, in store, if it is busy. I would just gage the wait time once there and return another day if it seems like there are many people waiting. Luckily, I had the whole day free, so waiting wasnt an issue, and they had a Disney movie playing for my child who was accompanying me. :)

I had a simple crack on my screen with some LCD damage. I had taken my phone to an Asurion location in Carlsbad where they kept it for 8 hours and did absolutely nothing to fix it. They actually discouraged me from fixing it and told me to just get a total phone replacement. So frustrating. I call my insurance again and they send out Ariel from this San Marcos store. This guy comes in and in 40 minutes fixes my phone like its nothing. No problems. No hassle. Im never taking my electronics anywhere else again. Im glad I didnt give up and buy a new phone.

The Verizon store sent me to get my screen fixed. I drove an hour to get there an hour before they closed only to be told it would take 2-3 hours to fix. Went in because my daughter broke off the tip of her IPad charger in the charging port of her Ipad. The salesperson made it clear that this is a long lasting screen protector and that the 1 year warranty will cover issues that may come up shortly after the installation.Well, everything was great at first but after a few weeks the protector started to come off and I came back to the store and waited an hour and they reapplied it and charged me for that.Now, a few days after that last application, the protector is coming off again and I called the store and was told they cover it only for 24 hours. I cracked my screen and needed a replacement and an LCD fix on my Google Pixel 2. I visited their website which was very straight forward and easy to navigate, to set up an appointment. The next day (Friday) I got a call from them to follow up the appointment I made. I came in right when they opened at 10am and dropped off my phone before going back to work. They let me know the phone would be finished in 1-2 hours. I was in no rush since I did not get off until 5pm. I came by after work and my phone was fixed! Try to get there before closing (7pm). Its a very easy process and their customer service was great. Id say call to make sure they have all of the parts needed to fix whatever you need first. And also make sure to check the stores hours. In a desperate rush to switch out of my horribly cracked and now broken phone I headed home to find a place online, fortunately out of the corner of my eye I spotted uBreakIFix. I have a Google Pixel phone that is under warranty and having battery problems. Google tech support sent me to this store to perform the warranty work on my Pixel. I called them to find out how long the repair usually takes so that I could make arrangements for another phone if it was going to take very long. I use this phone for my business, so I cant be without a working phone for very long. I was told that the battery was in stock and could be replaced in 3-4 hours. When I dropped off the phone, the guy at the counter again told me that it would be fixed in 3-4 hours, but if something came up that caused a delay, he would definitely give us a call and let us know. They close at 5 on Sundays and I dropped it off at 12:30.At 4:50 we still hadnt heard anything, so I called to check on it. I was told that because it was their short day, they hadnt gotten to it yet, but it would be done first thing Monday for sure. At 1:30 on Monday, still no call, so again I tried calling. The first 3 times I called, it went to voicemail but the mail box was full, so I couldnt leave a message. The next few times I called, it rang busy. I finally got in touch with someone, who told me that it would not be ready for about 48 hours.I would have been fine with 24-48 hours if I had been told that up front. I could have made other arrangements for a phone.

This place has good reviews, so I was excited to have a reputable place close by to get the cracked back glass on my Google Pixel 3 XL fixed.Well, they did fix the back glass, but that was the only thing that they got right. Up until they worked on my phone, it has been flawless. The tech who returned my phone to me didnt even notice my screen was partially covered with some sort of adhesive. My screen protector was trashed in the process of them trying to clean it. Sloppy workmanship!Worse yet, I realized later that day that the phones camera no longer worked. Once I got them on the phone to tell them about the issue, they were quick to deny any responsibility, washed their hands of it in a matter of minutes, and recommended I pursue a warranty replacement with the manufacturer.Is it possible that they werent at fault? Maybe... but what do you think the chances are that my camera stops working due to a motherboard failure (their over-the-phone diagnosis) during the same span of hours that they worked on the phone?At best, they do very sloppy work (re: my trashed screen protector), and quite possibly, their careless workmanship resulted in a phone that needed to be entirely replaced.After my experience, I would certainly not recommend them for anything other than a last resort fix. Brought my Pixel 3 in for a boot loop issue caused by a faulty power button. I was a walk-in with no appointment, but they were able to right away give me a quote for potential repair costs depending on what they found during their inspection and an estimate for how long it would take, the same day. TL:DR - honest business people that seem to genuinely care about helping people.The long version is I walked into this store asking to get my screen replaced after I botched up a diy project. After looking into, they said that the screen was fine, but there were some minor fixes to be done. I brought my phone in and described my problem. I assumed I would need parts replaced but that wasnt the case. Devin had the solution for my problem immediately. I am not particularly savvy when it comes to technology, especially phones, and so I was worried about being sold things I really dont need. He could have easily oversold me but instead he took care of my issue in a few minutes for free (a port cleaning). I asked about things/services (ie battery replacement, charging port replacement) that I may need and the future and he had the information right away. I will be returning in the future for any other of my electronic needs. Its a great location and customer oriented. There was a Pixar movie playing in the lobby when I came in, so if you have kids theyll be distracted while these very professional folks take good care of you. My phone was under warranty with 9 days left when it needed a new battery. Which they said would take 3 to 5 days. They held on to my phone for 11 days and finally called me to say that they got in the battery but because it was now out of warranty they would not repair it. I had brought this up when I dropped my phone off and when I called on day 5 and I was promised that the warranty would not be an issue since the problem started before the warranty was up. On day 11 I was told there was a problem with their system and they had to make a new ticket for the phone but now its out of warranty so I either have to pay them or send my broken phone back to samsung and wait another week. They took zero responsibility for what they promised me or for the hiccup in their system and I am still phone less. Save yourself the grief and go some where else.

No charge! Really! My older model laptop went wonky when Microsoft tried to push Windows 11 during a supposedly routine update. Moreover, I was afraid Id clicked on something I shouldnt have. After backing up my data and restarting the laptop, they found that it was still running Windows 10 and nothing had been updated. They monitored it for an extra day. When I picked it up, they said no charge because they didnt change or fix anything. But they did fix something: my peace of mind.Also, this is the place for Samsung phone service, including warranty service. Dont go back to the phone store where they dont fix anything thing.

I arrived with an iPhone 6 charging port problem, looking for a repair. Chris checked the inventory for the parts availability, which they had in stock. But he insisted on cleaning the charging port first and after doing so, charging the phone was no longer a problem. My phone had a dust bunny preventing charging from taking place. I was extremely impressed by the service I received at uBreakiFix. I was originally turned away from Best Buy, but they recommended uBreakiFix and I could not be happier to find this gem! Every employee I spoke to was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. I was originally quoted almost $600 to the LCD light/screen in my MacBook screen fixed by another company. uBreakiFix took one look during the free diagnosis and informed me that cord for the LCD light was just loose and that I did not have to replace my entire screen it was just one cord and was only $20 to fix. Brought my Nintendo Switch in which was having issues with the SD card reader. They kept in touch with me every step of the way. At first they thought it was my SD card slot and after calling me to approve the replacement they found out it was a software issue. Worst customer service I have experienced. Brought my PS4 in to have the disk drive repaired. They said if the one they have in stock didnt work they would have to order 1 and it would be 1 week. Well they kept ordering the wrong part and the repair took over a month to get done. When I went to go pick it up they took no responsibility for the length of the repair and were unwilling to compensate for the time they took to get it done. All they would offer me was $10 off my next repair, which is pointless because I will never use their service again.Update after their response. I brought my PS4 back to this location only to be told Id have to pay full price. This is horrible customer service and will be telling everyone not to bring their devices to this store. I was very frustrated because I could not transfer my photos from my old phone to my new phone. It was suggested to me to go to this store. Normally, it costs $49 to transfer photos, but since I only had 150 photos or so, Matt didnt feel right about charging me because most people have hundreds of photos on their phones & it takes hours to transfer them. Stephanie was so nice and took care of my broken iPhone 5. The battery needed to be replaced and my home button was broken and missing. After an hour, she and back with my working phone! Originally batteries are 39.99 and I only was charged $10 because I have been a customer for awhile. She also didnt charge me for the home button itself. Everyone at uBreakiFix was friendly and professional and took the time to explain the diagnostic process and the cost and discount options. We returned to this business with our laptop after they quickly repaired our Pixel phone screen. Their diagnosis is free and their prices were very reasonable. They rehabilitated our very expensive, 4-yr-old Macbook Pro from unusable to working great. It was overheating and slowing to a stop, and after diagnosing it, they explained the 3 possible fixes and gave us the options, costs and recommendations. They started with a cleaning and thermal treatment to see if that would be sufficient and when it wasnt, they replaced the fan and discounted the cleaning. This took care of the problem and its working great after continuous and rigorous use a day after, and they guarantee their work for 90 days. We will continue to bring all our electronics issues to them before replacing, and we highly recommend uBreakiFix.

The company name should be We break it you fix it. A simple screen repair forced us to purchase a new phone. The technician, who came to our home, took the phone to his vehicle and 30 minutes later returned with the phone and new screen. The phone doesnt work; he apparently ran a test on the phone, which caused the phone to lock up. We contacted his supervisor who said he never heard of the tech. Longer story shorter (5 hours later trying to repair the phone) we tried to repair through Apple and Verizon, who could not remedy the issue. We were forced to purchase a new phone. We later learned the company runs a software test through our insurance company, Assurion, which causes the issue. I strongly suggest this company provide a disclosure of the risk when servicing a phone. If we would had known of the risk we would not have had the phone serviced. It was not worth 5 hours of our time, $29.00 fee for the screen replacement, and $160.00 for a new phone.

They saved an 2nd iPhone in our household w/ water damage. Dont be fooled by Apples claim that the iPhone XR can withstand 30 min in 1 meter of water without damage. It cant. My phone went into water for about 2 seconds and my screen went black. Second time customer and thankfully they were able to save my iPhone.
