Absolutely great experience! Staff communicated very well about pricing, wait time, the why and how of things etc. They also helped me take advantage of my insurance plan to get a free, new screen protector since I was unaware and without one. Will definitely come here again if I ever need tech support of any kind!

My switch worked when I brought it in but it wouldnt charge they changed charging port it worked they said it was done. then it didnt work. Then they said it had water damage. Then chips were bad did all this stuff to it. In the end my switch is unrepairable. Now I need a new one. (Eddited 6/24/2024) went to put my SD card in for safe keeping and the card just falls into the device what a joke! Now Im questioning what they actually did. Never again will I bring a electronic device to them

2nd time I’ve broken my screen and used same shop in Citrus Heights, U Break I Fix and the guys were great as always. They had ample staff and had my phone fixed in less than an hour. I needed a repair for which I was informed it would take 3-4 hours. I live far away, so I came in with my phone to be fixed and also with my laptop, so I could sit in the lobby and work while I waited. They gave me the wifi password and I set up to work. Throughout the day I say several people come in with various issues, and saw that each person was given expert advise in ways that they could understand, and everyone was treated professionally and with respect. They did a great job on my phone repair, as well.

Im so impressed with how the staff here, and their equipment and procedures, replaced my broken phone screen! Such a professional job; it looks fantastic, no loose parts, everything fits perfectly, and everything functions perfectly. So very happy with their service from start to finish. I didnt see the name of the attendant who ran the front desk (but he was excellent), I only know from my follow-up email that Mark and Edward F. were part of this great experience. Im so thankful!

Pixel 4A - Jul 23 replaced the battery (took me a month to realize they missed connecting the proximity sensor). Jan 24 (six months later), under warranty, the battery was replaced again. Jun 24 (five months later) the battery is draining fast again but this tone they said its out of warranty and suggested I keep my recents cleared as that is the cause (on my android 13).

Top of the line service. Was referred to this location via my phone carriers insurance and was able to set up a same day appointment. The staff and techs were professional and courteous. My phone had a few scuffs and a broken screen. It came out looking pristine an hour or so later and their techs performed a cleaning on it as well. I will be looking to return to this location for any maintenance needed to be performed on any of my devices in the future and will be referring them to individuals who have devices requiring maintenance.

A few days after getting that done went to the Citrus Heights UBreakIFix store to get tge repair handled. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Came back later in the day to pick-up my phone. Im giving a 5 star for customer service I was impressed with that. Acted professional. Id like to give you a heads up..The stickers they put on the back of your phone when you check in dont come off easy. It took me 2 hrs to remove the stickiness with alcohol pads. Was not happy about that. Just wanted you to know when you take in your phone. Peace

I went to Verizon and they helped me file my Asurion claim, then I went into the Ubreak store and the process was very easy. The manager in the front was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our phone was ready for pickup in 1 hour. Highly recommend!

I cracked the screen on my phone 😖Went into a Verizon store and the only option they gave me was to either pay the balance of my phone or $600.00 or submit a claim. I was pleasantly surprised when I logged in to Asurion and they gave me the option to take my phone to UBreakiFix and they had me all fixed in a little over 2 hrs!

A dishonest company. Asurion insurance set up a claim to have a screen replaced on one our cooperate cell phones. The phone holder call to set a time for screen repair and were told they do not have the part and will need to see the phone in person prior to ordering any parts. A trip to the store resolved to this unethical company attempting to charge the phone holder $125 to order the part. Remember, this is an Asurion claim.. When the phone holder said no then they wanted to make a deal that if they join the monthly club for $25 then they will waive the $125 charge to order the screen. With the only other option to send the phone off for service for 5-7 days the phone holder paid the ransom. Unethical and crooked place of business!

I dropped my computer off at this location almost a month ago. They said to come in the next few days, which I did. When I came, they said it was not ready yet. When we went we made an appointment and got an estimate online. The estimate is what they charged us and the work was done quickly and within the time they estimated.The location is good for having to drop off your phone, in that theres a lot of shopping and food in the vicinity if you happen to have a quick repair.The employees were knowledgeable and polite. I wish I could say the same of the other customers, but thats certainly not the fault of the business.Prices were fair.

The experience was great here! I called in advance to make sure all was well. They graciously looked up my claim through Asurion to verify everything was okay. When we arrived, the line moved fast. They offer exemplary customer service here. Quickly checked me in, offered some pleasant chitchat and gave me a time frame of approx 5 hours bcuz they were so busy. I stopped back in and it wasnt quite ready yet, they kindly explained they needed to test it then the would call me back. Which they did, right on time. The whole process was easy and they were very professional. All of the customers leaving the store looked very pleased with the service they received. Theres a lot in the surrounding area to do while you wait, too.

They did a wonderful job with my phone. Its a Samsung S23Ultra and the screen was cracked which caused a blackout on half of my phone. 3 hours later, the phone is as good as new. I did not like the fact that you have to wait in a slower than molasses line to drop off the phone, and then wait in a line to pick up your phone once repaired. The pick up should be a different line, and without having to wait for problems being solved by people dropping off.

They do a good job fixing your devices. BUT. They put these annoying labels and stickers on them that are really difficult to take off. If they at least lightly put them on there it would be fine. But it seems like they’re pressed down onto the device, so much so that simply peeling it off is not always possible. Devices often come dead as well, meaning I can’t really test them in store to see if they’re working properly.It’s the little details that make a great business. UBREAKIFIX on sunrise is missing them.Again, no complaints about the working quality of the devices. Turnaround time isn’t bad either.

We had a screen get cracked on our Pixel 6 pro and brought it into the store to get it fixed. They had the part on hand and handled the repair for my wife the same day. Unfortunately during the replacement of the screen the phone housing was damaged. My wife was in a hurry when she picked up the phone and was distracted by the kids. When I saw the damage to the housing I was quite upset and called the store. In all honesty, the phone call did not go well and I was told sometimes scratches happen and I would have to bring the phone back in. Upon arriving in the morning the following day we showed the store the damage and explained we were not happy with the service. They offered to replace the damaged housing and put on a new screen because the first replacement was not working well either. We left the phone with them and within 2 hours they were calling to let us know it was ready. While replacing the parts damaged and not working they also replaced the battery for us free of charge. Picking up the phone went super smooth and screen is working great with the new housing looking even better. I am so glad they took great care of us and honored their mistake by correcting the issue and throwing in some free service as an apology for the inconveniences, they truly do care about their customers and reputation. I was also very thankful to not have to go through a big argument in order to resolve this issue. Even with a mistake on the initial part I would still highly recommend this place based on their level of service and professionalism.

Very confused on what they actually fix here! My husband took in his phone because he was having an issue with connecting his Bluetooth. Got his phone back and theres more issues with it. He also took in controllers instead of just saying. Hey we cant fix this They took everything apart and damaged his expensive controllers for his console. Cant contact the store unless you go in because they never answer the phone. I would definitely consider reading reviews before taking anything into this company.

The small shop seemed busy, with 5 customers. I waited about 15 minutes before being helped. The technician looked at my phone, hooked it up to a device, checked the IMEI number, said that they couldnt fix it and indicated that it was under the Google extended warranty and I would most likely get a replacement in 3-4 business days. Entry into the system seem quick. I was disappointed because I was told from the shop the day before that they had a replacement there but that was not offerred.

Set an appointment for 5-530 pm through Samsung. Called the store ahead of time asking if theres anything else they might need or if the repair will be on the spot. Was assured it will be on the spot. When I got to the store I was told that I will have to leave my phone for 24 hours if I want it repaired under warranty or I can pay out of pocket $50 and have it done on the spot in minutes. So why did you need my phone for 24 hours? You didnt, you just say one thing over the phone and once I get there and already took time off work youd expect me to just pay the $50. No thanks. Im filing a complaint with FTC, BBB and Sacramento County for unfair business practices. Hope the $50 is worth it.

I been to 2 of these locations the 1 on arden and this 1 citrus heights. I never had an issue with arden until i purchased the z fold i was told by the location in arden that i had to order a new 1 because they can not fix the screen. No was not about having the part in stock. He just flat out said they couldnt repair it. I called citrus heights just to see and they told me yes they could have repaired it. But i needed data transfer from my phone and laptop. Let me tell you they will give you plenty options and are very experienced in tech. This 1 is out of my way but definitely coming for all repairs.

I was told Id receive an estimate in 2 days when I dropped my laptop off. I called twice, was routed to voicemail, left a message and got no return call. On my third call, I reached someone who gave me incorrect information on the status of the repair then hung up on me when she tried to transfer me to a tech. I called back and spoke to a tech who acknowledged I hadnt been called with an estimate as promised, and therefore parts hadnt been ordered yet. The estimate he gave was twice what I was told to expect. He called back later to say Id been charged double for parts and labor by mistake. I authorized repair and received a call a week later that the laptop was ready at the quoted price.If not for the lack of communication, miscommunication, broken promise, errors in estimate and service delay, Id had given a high rating because the work was done correctly and at a fair price. Citrus Heights store staff were very helpful and professional in person also.

I brought a non working phone in and wasnt sure it would be financially smart to repair it. Your tech let me know the phone was still covered under an extended warranty. He explained he would replace the screen, which is what I thought was wrong, and that it would be no cost to me. The replacement didnt solve the issue and, before I even received a call back from the store I had already received an email from Google regarding the replacement process. I returned to the store to pick up my phone and will have a replacement by tomorrow, only 48 hours after I walked into the store. Very pleased with the staff, their knowledge and their help.

If I could leave a 100 star rating it wouldnt be enough! Daniel is the most considerate, knowledgeable and helpful person I have dealt with to date! The store was incredibly busy the entire time I was there. Daniel and Tim were working at the counter. It was amazing to watch them interact with each customer as though they were the only one in the store. They listened to each customer patiently, they were efficient articulate and kind. I did not see one customer leave there without giving a sincere thank you and a smile to Daniel or Tim. Imagine walking into a small waiting room where theres standing room only, people lined up from the counter to the door and no one looks upset or frustrated! Although each one of us had a broken or non working cell phone in our hands those two men maintained a positive environment. My daughter and I both had work done on our phones. They kept us informed throughout the process. If all that is not enough they did great work too :) Any company could take note of how this store is run if they wanted to be more successful.

TLDR: 20-25% more Expensive, does not honor corporate policies and discounts, unprofessional.Came to repair a cell phone screen on the basis of referral from cell phone store due to its use of genuine parts etc. I do not have insurance on the phone so this was an out of pocket expense. While I expected this to be an expensive repair (about $350), I did not expect the difficulty nor the shadiness of the experience.The MULTIPLE visits required over 8 days (when advertised to come in and have a same day repair):1) I made an appointment online for my model of phone and the repair needed. They had no idea what inventory they had and had to check in the back. They did not have the screen to fit my phone in stock. Someone could easily have checked that prior to me driving all the way to the store and called me to tell me that they couldnt help me. They told me to come back in a few days and they should have the screen.2) I return 4 days later, sign in, and they have not ordered the screen and when they tried, there is a shortage of the particular screen I had and they were unable to order it. They were able to find the screen from a different store so I will credit them for finding one.3) I come in when the screen comes in and drop off my phone. Tech says itll be 3-4 hours. I return 5 hours later and they need me to unlock my phone and run some tests for 15-20 mins. They take my phone and arent finished with it for AN HOUR with no updates or explanations as to why it took so long.Payment:Witnessed a different patron (during my hour wait) asking to use a discount code. Tech said they do not usually honor discount advertisements from corporate.Also, website states We’ll match any local competitor’s published price for the same repair and beat it by $5. Would not honor the price match. Best buy was $289 vs. $319.Plus, a 2.5% cc fee. Felt a little nickel and dimey for a more expensive service.After all this, I did have an odd feeling unlocking my phone for them.Screen is fixed though.

I debated about posting this review but I decided that my experience should be shared.I live over an hour away so I opted to ship my Xbox One X to them when it had an issue powering up. It is not an uncommon issue and it is well documented on the internet.Ive taken very good care of the console and owned it less than one year.After receiving my package, the tech who worked on it called me and said the Xbox was really dusty, and there was rust, water damage, and some kind of black liquid sprayed on the inside of the Xbox?Very confusing to me, as it was less than a year old (refurbished from GameStop), never been exposed to water, never had black spray near it, and kept in an area that isnt overly dusty and is well ventilated.I pressed him on the dust issue, he backtracked a bit and said it was actually more like a normal amount of dust. I asked for pictures of the inside for my records and he said it was against policy to send photos! I pressed him again, asking how can I know what is going on if I have no pics. He started telling me they cant send pics, its policy, then someone in the background interrupted him and said they actually can send pics. He verified my email address and promised to send some. I had to call back days later and ask again for the pictures because he didnt send them.Later he called me back and said they couldnt find anything wrong and they had been running the console successfully for hours. They shipped it back to me, no charge.A few days later it arrived in a large box with a single sheet of bubble wrap. I had shipped it to them in a box filled with styrofoam and cardboard, safely protected. And they just tossed it in a random box with a piece of plastic?! Absolutely unacceptable.The Xbox turned on with no problems and we discovered that the techs had installed a new game on our system, which we felt was inappropriate. Did they play the other games or use our apps on there? Our account was still logged in and it felt like a major invasion of privacy. We turned off the Xbox and turned it on again, but nothing happened. Weve tried many times since to get it to work and it has not once turned on.After all the time and energy spent, the console was in the same (if not worse) condition as when we had sent it to them. Im glad they didnt charge me for their services because that would have added insult to injury.I dont know if this is a location issue or if this experience reflects the chain as a whole. I have a smart watch that I was planning to send to them to repair, but after this experience I will look for other options. After a week I returned and they told me it’s outside the warranty window and that I have to pay a deposit. Note 20 Ultra (curved screen). My original screen broke a few months after purchase WITH A PROTECTIVE COVER ON IT at a time when I accidentally hit it (not too hard) on my wood desk... it was still in my hand at the time. I was hesitant about getting it replaced. The replacement was very quick and they came to my house to do the repairs. Ive had the replacement screen on for over a year and a half now, WITHOUT A PROTECTIVE COVER ON IT, and it hasnt cracked yet. I have dropped it countless times on hard surfaces to the point where one of the metal corners gashed over the edge of the glass, yet the glass didnt crack. The quality of the glass is excellent. Im very surprised by its durability.

I made an appointment online and immediately after I confirmed, I received a text saying i have a $25 savings from the service because I made an appointment online. My iPhone XR slipped out of my bag while I was getting into the car. As I was backing out the driveway all I heard was cRuUnch! Luckily my case protected the back of my phone and only my screen was damaged (a lot of broken little bits of glass). The worker gave me a reasonable estimate similar to the estimate their website gave me (~$90 - $160). ONLY my screen was damaged, keep in mind. The guys fixed my phone in under 2 hrs. Really good service and super nice! My major recommendation is go out shopping or take care of errands while you wait for your device to be repaired. Also consider that they have other customers. Technology is not the most predictable thing, so the time frame they give you is not going to be exact. Definitely wait for them to call you when the phone is ready to be picked up. This store is small and there isn’t much room to wait and sit around. Definitely plan out your day before heading over!

Service was nice - went in for a screen repair/replacement and took maybe an hour or so longer than they said it would, but they got slammed with customers two out of the three times that I went in, so thats understandable. I also went in the afternoon, so take that into mind.Guys working were knowledgeable and I learned a little about my own phone while there. I guess the only thing I would say is if you dont want to make multiple trips or sit/stand there waiting, give them a little extra time on your repair, find something to do and dont be impatient.Side note, a customer next to me claimed that he was getting duped from the website misleading him, but everyone else there was happy to get their stuff fixed, and really I couldnt sense anything shady going on. I reached out to Samsung because I had a manufacturer defect on my screen where there were dead pixels. My phone has never been dropped or broken, samsung gave me this address to come speak to one of the representatives. I went in and spoke to Andrew and he told me I was in my warranty and could get it fixed but the part he needed has to be shipped so I got a quote from him and came back in a week later and spoke to Edward. Had my inner screen protector replaced here for my Samsung Z fold 3. It was done pretty well. The alignment and look was just like factory. A bit of glue residue at the edge but I was able to rub it off. So just a heads up to Z fold or Z flip owners. The guy at the front initially said they could do the replacement but it could take 6 hours since they had to do it under samsungs free screen replacement warranty cause of extra steps for diagnostics since samsung requires it for some reason for a screen protector replacement. The guy at the front told me I could get it done faster if I pay them 30 bucks and have it done out of warranty. I decided to have it done under warranty but then the guy went back again and suddenly says they couldnt do the replacement under samsungs free screen protector replacement warranty despite samsung listing it as one. They told me I had to send it in to samsung if I wanted it replaced under warranty. I didnt want to wait weeks for samsung to do it so I decided to pay the 30 bucks and have it done out of warranty. They need better customer service or training for the front since it was a lot of back and forth between the front and back people about their own policies. Felt like I was getting scammed because of it. Its been about a month since the replacement and the protector has held up well with no bubbles. Im definitely satisfied with the job done and will probably get my phone fixed or screen protector replaced here again.

I imagine it would be longer if many customer were ahead of me.I took a four hour chunk out of my day and took the forty five minute drive to the store. I was checking in with a person at the front desk and asked if they had a narrowed down time estimate. They said three to four hours. Then they went on about the work taking one to two hours but needing to have my phone for an additional one to two hours just in case.A couple of things.. First why no appointments? Works for both side of the customer/business equation right?Let me argue a stores side. “We don’t take appointments because people don’t show up!” Yeah but what about the customers that do? “it’s to hard” Harder than what? A store can make a system for appointments from super easy to stupidly time consuming.Second, train your people. One or two other employees saw me come in and saw me leave. If the norm is three to four hours, shame on the rep that talked with me on the phone.If the norm is one to two hours, shame on the two or three employees for not taking care of my phone.I have Asurion insurance and my deductible is 29.95 and at this point I will pay the full 300.00 for Samsung to swap the phone out. I’ve been building my own computers for 35 years and this was the first time I needed outside help with a problem with a notebook 2in 1. They ran a tech diagnosis and examined the internals of the system and luckily there was no major internal damage. They gave me a summary and suggested a plan to remedy the problem and happily there was no cost for the diagnostics. The people at the store appear to be very knowledgeable and courteous. Brand new phone and was extremely disappointed after spending so much money that it stopped working.. they made me jump through hoops to file a claim to get a replacement phone sent to me in 1-2 business days. Running a 60 million dollar business from home, 1-2 business days was not going to cut it. I filed the claim anyway and went home for some research, found that uBreakiFix right in the same parking lot as AT&T is an authorized dealer with Samsung and could fix my phone. Scheduled my appointment at 3pm, got a call at 4pm that the LCD went out and was fixed and ready for pick up. No charge to me due to it being under the 1 year warranty. They were quick, professional, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! Thank you again for making my life a little less stressful 🙏

They really need to work on their quality control. I took in my Pixel 4a for a screen replacement, left it with them and came back after the 2 hours they told me it would take. I came back, my phone was not fixed because their one replacement screen was faulty. Fine, that stuff happens. After waiting 2 days for the new part, they call me back in to pick up my fixed phone. I bring the phone back home before noticing that the screen is not flush against the body of the phone which could result in dust damage if I didnt notice it. If youre going to be an Authorized Google Repair Center, having spare Google Screens and better quality control is not a large ask.

Great service and work! I broke the screen my Pixel 2 and was given the option to have it fixed locally through the Google protection plan. This was Googles contracted repair service. They had great service, quicker than estimated turnaround time, and use factory parts. If the situation arises I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

My iPhone 8 had trouble charging thru the charging port and the technician knew right away that the port had to be cleaned. She then spent the next 20 minutes cleaning the port and all the speaker ports. Now phone charges fine and speakers work great. A true lifesaver. 5* service. And the cleaning was no charge. Such a great place to get your phone repaired they said it would be 3 hours and 30$ and got it back about a hour and a haft well clean and taken care of was worried but they did a fantastic job and was so happy they got it fixed then having to get a whole new phone. Worst service ever. Tech lied about my phone not having an SD card installed when I dropped it off even though he opened and SAW the SD card. The manager was useless. No one was willing to acknowledge their mistake. They acted like I was lying. Why? I have nothing to gain. I just wanted my SD card with my young girls photos back. They straight up stole the pictures of my young daughters!! So gross. Dont use them.

He gave me an expected repair time and cost, which, in this world that expects you to ALWAYS have your cell phone, helped me to calm about this. So i posted a review about the bad customer service earlier, but now Im going to post a review about bad customer service and bad log keeping i have now brought my phone 4 times the first rude and horrible customer service 3 time great service 4 and final time because i will never be coming to this location again. Not only do they not keep accurate longs of when you came in, they like to push the blame other staff members for mistakes that they made themselves. Also i have been trying to use my warranty for my phone and 2 of the time i tried they push it off saying if it does it again come back. this last time i finally spoke with the manager Gabriel who was pretty condescending and was clearly not trying to help told me i had to go directly to Samsung if i would have know that i would had my phone fixs a long time ago.

I have been back twice since my original visit, and the quality of service had definitely dropped. Excessive wait times seem to be the norm. Quoted 3 hours, took 8. The last time I brought in a phone for screen repair and when it was returned the vibration didnt work. The tech said I should submit it under warranty for repair, even though it worked when I dropped it off. Will not be back.

Kinda costly without insurance but I believe they replace the battery and thoroughly check all the functions of your phone to make sure everything is working as designed. I needed the screen replaced on my samsung s8. I filled out their online form and came in the next day. They were great. I didnt like that they tried to upsell me, but when I said I just wanted my screen fixed, they were cool and didnt push. Came back in two hours like they said and my phone is as good as new. Put in a claim drove an hour to the store just for them to tell me they might be able to get it done today and that it will most likely be done tomorrow. Whats the point of having this insurance if you cant get what it says it provides.

They do EXCELLENT WORK but management doesnt hire enough people to finish the transactions.Sometimes 10-15 people waiting to turn phones in or pick them up with a 2-person staff trying to do that.They try hard to do it but people get frustrated.Only suggestion, add more help on the floor, your tech work is GREAT!

Called ahead and the guy told me he was new, and he couldnt find the part I needed to fix my phone, but he may have just been looking in the wrong place. Instead of confirming with a coworker, he told me to go ahead and come in. Drove 30 minutes to get there just for them to tell me that they did not even stock parts for my phone and would have to order it, which would have taken several days. I ended up ordering the part and doing the fix myself.
