My PS5 was repaired 1 week later than anticipated. They put the system console in Chinese and took me 3 youtube videos to revert it back to english. Plus they put the panels on backwards. They were very nice though.

Sam, the repair technician was very accommodating to take my iPhone to replace the cracked glass same day. When he discovered there was an additional technical issue with the home button, he kept the phone to continue working on it. He was thankfully able to repair it to function properly. All of this done for an affordable price, which I greatly appreciated. This will be my go to place for electronics repairs henceforward!

Do not go to them for game controllers. They could not fix a stick drift of an Xbox elite controller (after 3 attempts) and returned the device reassembled poorly. They somehow managed to put the battery pins inside the controller. Never going back to them again.

This is my first experience with this store in Costa Mesa and they have terrible customer service and poor communication and to top it off they only did a quick fix on my Xbox because I was chatting with someone on the Google web about my situation and it had been longer than 3 days so Im sure they called them and they fixed it quick because I was told they would call me to let me know about my Xbox they didnt call or email or anything I just went to the store and all of sudden my Xbox was fixed. But even online you can see the updates and they had not updated. So now I have to take it back so they can fix it properly, I took it to another store on bristol and thats how I know they did a quick fix not properly. For being my first time this is so terrible.

If youre getting service through Asurion insurance, definitely being your phone in here. I was concerned about the parts needed for my cracked screen being aftermarket parts, but Khalil B. Eased my concern by showing me the part that Asurion had overnighted (which was a genuine Samusung screen/housing) and said it would basically be like getting a new phone. He did not disappoint. Got my phone back after the 2 hour quoted wait time and it did feel like a brand new phone; even had the new plastic you had to peel off. A very satisfied customer.

GarbageI paid out of pocket for service replacement of a touch screen and what was supposed to be the entire top of the computer with brand equipment They only did half the repair (screen only and aftermarket parts) and their solution was to up sell me asurion, to wait 30 days, then they would get me an updated and better commuter. When I took the computer in because after the repair the keyboard and mouse pad would intermittently stop working as the computer would randomly go into tablet mode, they did a tune-up and said that they fixed it. The computer still doesnt work and now they magically cant find my computer thats been there twice in their system? At the exact same store? Speaking to the exact same people?They talked me into repairing my computer rather than buying a new one when I went in there. I feel like I wasted so much money and could have a new computer rather than wasted money and months.The repairs also take weeks to do and I had to call multiple times to get any updates or even to find out that my computer was ready to pick up?There was poor communication the entire time and poor service.

Worst UbreakIFix ever. First, they didn’t have the replacement screen so I had to wait 3 days. Then I drop off the phone and they say it’s going to be three hours instead of 2. They give me a time to pick up the phone and when I arrive at the store it is closed in the middle of the day and I wait for 40 minutes for someone to return. When they reopen the store (and though I was told the device was done by customer care) the person behind the desk says it’s going to be another 2-3 minutes. Then he goes to the back of the store and starts talking on the phone with someone and laughing and while I wait. In the meantime another customer arrives and they take them while I wait some more. Worst customer service. Completely rude. never again. Drive to another store

Had my Nintendo Switch fixed here. Couldn’t get it to boot up but they replaced the charging port and got it done faster than Nintendo would have. While it was ready two days after they said it would be, they were super friendly. Good if you are in need of a quick fix fellow gamers!

This is pretty long so for those who don’t want to read, I’ll cut to the chase:Do not get your MacBook repaired here.Im writing this here to talk about my experience at this place to ensure nobody else has to deal with it. I’m not someone that often makes reviews but I feel that my input would be useful for anyone looking to get their services here for the same thing I did.I originally came here to repair my MacBooks screen. It wouldn’t open at certain angles and I really needed to fix it at an affordable price as I am a college student and I want to budget my things. They got it repaired for me within a few days and all was well and good, or so I thought.Right after the repair I got to a nearby Starbucks because I was behind on my work because I didn’t have access to a computer. I found that I couldn’t connect to the internet. I thought it was an issue with the internet itself. I went to my dorm, I couldn’t connect to the internet there, I thought it was my dorms fault. I went home. I couldn’t connect to the internet.Foolishly, I dropped it off, a little annoyed since this isn’t an issue that I cause this time. It took around 2 weeks to get it repaired. For context I need my computer for school to access certain programs for my college so this was a big deal and to this day I’m still dealing with the reproductions of this.I call them and tell them as much and the manager apologizes and even gives me a discount for my troubles, which I still very much appreciate.Unfortunately I still deal with computer issues that I did not cause. My computer screen gets random black squares that flash on, it’s a lot slower than it should be, and the mouse pad at times acts on its own accord, but I honestly can’t afford another repair job and I quite frankly lost my trust in this service to want to get anymore.It seems like from the reviews though, that their specialty is iPhones and other mobile repairs. I also don’t think this was malicious and the person at the front working there was understanding and kind and did everything right since I know he’s not actually the one doing the repairs. I just think maybe repairing other products like MacBooks may not be their specialty and I think they should let people know as such.However, I still feel cheated out of my money and I hope that anyone that needs to fix their MacBook just goes to AppleCare.

Honestly one of the best experiences in a customer service setting. Mason handled my claim so wonderfully. My phone screen went pink yesterday & I couldn’t get it fixed until this morning. I originally had an appointment in Santa Ana but they’re closed on Sundays so they called me and told me that they were hung to be closed so I called Verizon support to change my claim to Costa Mesa so I did, which was very easy & was able to get my phone fixed by mason today. Seriously he totally inspired me by his customer service skills. He fixed my phone in less than an hour & mind you they were extremely busy & he was the only one working. I highly recommend Asurion in Costa Mesa for all your needs. Just follow proper protocols & submit a claim & ensure you’re setting yourself up for success so they can properly help you. 5 stars hands down, this place is legit, see Mark he is the best!!!! Mark showed me the inside of my phone and explained why certain features (camera Face ID etc) did not work. Mark you earned my business for a lifetime thank you for being so helpful and informative! Very great place! 👍 my Galaxy 4 flip phobe was fixed in 2 1/2 hours and i am sooo blessed for them! I did nt have to pay for a new exsoensive phone at my phone place! I paid twice less than i would to oay off my phone and then have to start all over again with a new phone pament costing me over 1100! Very happy with the service! The service was professional and prompt. I was quoted service on my Samsung S21 Ultra and the team here at Asuion/ubreakifix was significantly lower... not cheap, but less than competitors. I was surprised to find out that the availability for replacement screens were becoming scarce. They (I wish I got their names) did a great job, just wished they were open on Sunday as that is when my phone took a dive and I need it for work where we rely on 2 form/multi form authentication to access our resources.Bottom line, I am happy with the service, the phone is basically new, I am mad at myself for letting the cracked screen linger as long as I did. Lesson learned.

I found this company on yelp and decided to bring my iPhone 11 to them to fix the cracked screen. The gentleman at the desk told me it would cost $170 to fix. I came back 1 hour later and the phone was fixed. Fast forward 3 weeks later and the iPhone screen had spider webbed. I brought the phone back and they wanted to charge me another $170 to fix. The warranty on the receipt claims they have a 1 year warranty for everything except liquid damage. I was told since the screen cracked they could not cover it. So the 1 year warranty is completely useless for a cracked screen after 3 weeks. Come to find out they put on an aftermarket screen. I was never given the option to put on a real Apple screen or an aftermarket screen. If I knew there was a difference I would have bought the original Apple screen from the start. I never use after market parts. They are cheap and break easily. I would not recommend this store to anybody. There are other stores in the area that have much better customer service. What a rip off!

About a week ago I came to get my Galaxy A52 fixed due to a broken port. They told me about a week that they could get the official part, and I was fine with that. Until I checked back with them about it about a week later, and they never ordered the part in the first place. 😑 Had to get phone serviced somewhere else or wait another week to get something someone else could do in a day

So this is gonna be a weird.. but true review. I took my Samsung Fold 4 in because it had things I have never seen a phone do before. I had the sound go out, then the temperature warning, and then the phone just died. Im usually a very tech savvy person myself since I do dev work and etc. but to no avail, I could not get my phone to come back to life. Took it to T-mobile and they were morons just trying to sell me a watch. Took it to uBreakiFix and they were very cool, thurough, and competant. They realized and told me with clarity how rare my issue was and how long it would take to fix and how it would be actually in my best intrest for Samsung to fix it. I spent about an hour with them watching them go through trouble shooting and what not, none of which I pushed for but they did on their own accord and with percision. At the end of the day I took thier advice and reached out to Samsung and I never had to pay a dime to anyone. These guys are honest and pros. I reccommend you go to them, respect thier honesty and you will be satisfied even if they cannot help your issue.

First, they gave me a discount to fix my pixel 6 pro screen. I did this by signing up for the family insurance plan. When I made my first claim it was super easy. I got an ipad screen replaced for $106. Mason was great! I think as long as you make claims on a consistent basis it is worth the monthly charge. I was satisfied.

Appalling service, destroyed my property and took 6 months to process claimI recently had the misfortune of filing a claim with Asurion Home Plus, and I have to say that my experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did they take an unconscionably long time to process my claim - a full six months - but they also destroyed my $5000 computer without my consent.Throughout the process, I was treated with nothing but disrespect and neglect. It was clear that the company was more concerned with protecting its profits than with fulfilling its obligation to me as a policyholder. It is simply unacceptable that a company of this size and reputation would treat its customers in such a callous and unprofessional manner.I would strongly advise anyone considering doing business with [Insurance Company] to steer clear. They do not care about their customers, and they will not hesitate to destroy your property and leave you high and dry when you need them most. If you do choose to do business with them, be prepared for a long and frustrating experience that will likely end in disappointment.In summary, I would not recommend Asurion Home Plus to anyone. Their service is appalling, and their treatment of customers is nothing short of disgraceful. As we enter into a new year, there are some people who like to bless you so it starts off right. That’s what Khalil did for me these last two days. Firstly he keeps his store immaculate. I wish to let you know that I came into this store with a totally unanticipated and severe problem created by the nursing staff in the Hospital where I just had my open heart triple bypass surgery. They accidently fried/ totally destroyed my phone. Right in the middle of a $30 million dollar closing!! I became cut off from my outside communicational world. So upon advise from AT&T - - I came to this shop and a fine gentleman named ROMASH & AND HIS TEAM, went to work almost immediately on solving the complex problem of retrieving all my original info data, which I needed to re - connect to my $$$$ financial allies to move forward and complete the large and complex transaction. ROMASH DIDNT KUST GIVE ME AN HOUR OR TWO (2) -- HE AMAZINGLY STAYED WITH ME ON & OFF, INTERMITTENTLY. AND LOYALLY PERSISTED WITH ME UNTIL 4-5 HOURS LATER THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!!!! I was having trouble with the charging cord making a connection. I was expecting to drop it off and pick it up when a part was replaced. The technician told me to hold on a second and took it in the back to do a quick cleaning. Then he checked my phone with a charger and it was working. I am really impressed with this organization. Ive been having problems with my phone battery. The phones customer service was useless. Out of frustration I contacted this business. I was helped by an employee named Daniel (both on the phone and in person).Not to brag but I have broken quite a few phones and taken them to be fixed often. Went today for an iPhone 6s repair. They took my phone in for a charge port that wasnt working. When I returned they said that it was only a loose wire. They reconnected it and it works perfectly. To my surprise there was no charge because the didnt have to replace my port. I was extremely impressed by their honesty. They could have told me that they replaced the part. I just wasted 45 minutes of my lunch hour to visit this location. The camera on my Samsung phone was not focusing so I called Samsung to initiate warranty repair. They told me this chain was an authorized repair center and it would be quicker to get the work done.I explained the issue to the technician and he was able to replicate the problem. He went away for a few minutes and came back with a few bags containing camera modules. They were all labeled with part numbers and descriptions.The first problem was that he did not know which camera was the main camera. I asked if he had a repair manual to look it up, but he didnt answer my question and just said they dont get many issues like this. Since he was having an issue identifying the main camera, I took the phone and used my finger to block each lens to figure out which was the main camera.Once I identified the camera, he started virtually comparing the modules he brought out with the main camera.Wait, what?All the parts are labeled and finding the right module should be as simple as reading the description.I took my phone and left. It was clear that they are not qualified to work on Samsung phones. I dont know how theyre an authorized repair center if they dont have a repair guide, even a simple one that lists the parts and their corresponding numbers.

I brought my iPhone X here to replace a cosmetic crack that was bothering me in the upper left hand corner. My phone worked perfectly fine other than I didn’t looking at the crack on my phone. The fixed my Pixel 5 a few years ago, the experience was fine. Just cracked the screen on my Pixel 6, made an appointment to stop by, drove over only to find out they didnt have the parts. Seems like UBreakIFix CORPORATE needs to upgrade the appointment website to ask your type of phone and direct you to the closest store with the parts OR have the store let you know they dont have the parts so you dont drive all the way over and wait. PLUS, since the stores are franchised, only the franchisees can check their own stock, not the stock of surrounding stores, so you end up calling every franchisee in the area to check stock.Come on UBreakIFix Corporate! One was a laptop which took them almost a month to fix due to them purchasing the wrong screen ( this laptop is also my school laptop which heavily impacted me in class). On top of the elongated wait time for the laptop, i had received the laptop with a new issue: the bottom frame keeps popping off. For the other device, my Iphones screen was chipped which was causing the phone to glitch. After receiving the phone back, there seemed to be chip on the left side of the screen but it was so little that i ignored it. BIG MISTAKE, within the week, the same glitching began again. Wasnt happy with the lack of customer service in the store, or the wrong info I received on the phone.They were very helpful with giving me instructions on what I can do to attempt resetting my phone and when that didnt work, they said I could come in and they would run a free diagnostic test, to let me know what was wrong, and how to fix the issue. I informed them that I was about 90 minutes away from the closest store, and that I would need to make a special trip just for this purpose, they also said the test could be done the same day. So a couple weeks later I made the trip, when I arrived I was the only customer, I explained the situation with the phone, and the gentleman behind the counter said oh, its probably the motherboard., So I asked if we could run the diagnostic to know exactly what the issue was so I could decide what I wanted to do with the phone. He said, Sure, it will take 24-48 hours to get the results for the test. We then had a conversation about how I had driven almost 2 hours, based on what I was told by customer service when I called, expecting them to be able to run the test on the same day, he then repeated the 24-48 hour requirement. Personally I have no idea the next time I will be anywhere near the store, and to make a second special trip to the store to pick up my fixed (or still broken) phone, without any idea of what might or might not be wrong, and couldnt believe that I got either bad info from customer service on the phone, or the gentleman behind the counter had something better to do as again, I was the only customer in the store.Well I hope you have a better experience with uBreakiFix than I did, but I cant recommend them based on the customer service I received.

I probably just had bad luck or something, they were the only location nearby who had my parts for my phone had in stock. paid nearly 300 for screen repair. when it was picked up my phone had no service, i called and they lost my sim card. every attempt to inquire was met with the same answer. they would look and call us back. never called back. kevin i believe was the boys name who was helping us. After purchasing a new sim card they covered the cost of the sim card fee. However my phone wasnt able to receive service at my home since. Yet another visit, they were supposed to call me when it was checked out and repaired to pick up. they never did and had to face dreaded hwy afternoon traffic because they never called. And the phone remains in the same state, no signal in certain areas. The repair was well done though. Unfortunately I will be visiting once again because my phone may look new but it cant function in certain areas such as my work and home when it did before the repairs, im expecting to take a leave february and cant have my phone with dodgy signal. Also they found my sim card which is too little too late. In total this will be my 5th visit and the place isnt exactly close, consuming far too much fuel going back and forth. Im extremely unsatisfied.Edit 3/8/18: during my time away, my phone somehow returned to its normal signal strength. 4g LTE all around like it used to. The problem fixed itself and although I wouldve liked to have known the cause i am pretty happy i can call and text without wifi again. and during my time away i was contacted numerous times by customer service and even the owner. I really felt the genuine care for getting my phone thoroughly fixed and the owner was very courteous throughout. Although there was no need to visit the shop again since my phone regained its signal strength on its own i greatly appreciated ubreakifixs efforts. Well deserved reputation 5 stars.

I experienced some major dishonesty with this store. I was told my phone would cost over $300 to repair the front and back screen. At another uBreakiFix in LA I was told the same repair was $30 less. The 17th street location said there was a higher cost because of the location. When I went back to the LA store they said Samsung fixes all the prices so there should be no variation. Since these stores appear to be franchises, I would steer clear of this one.

I went in to get my battery replaced and when opening my pixel xl they broke my screen. That wasnt a big deal because they have the screens on hand. The problem was that they only had black screens and my phone is white so now it doesnt match. A wrong size screwdriver I used damaged two screws on a firewall. Then I began searching the internet for all possible ways. I tried to use rubber band and glue, but I didnt have a soldering device, nor a screw extractor rotary tool. If you are in a similar situation and searched, you know what those things are for. FYI for the iphone to get the actual apple glass you might as well go to the Apple store because it is CHEAPER!!! YES!! CHEAPER! Also, they cannot do the apple glass because only apple can... so dont go here to get your iphone screen repaired it doesnt make sense. Also, the guy who answered the phone was snappy and rude!

I call these guys asking if they can give me the part, they said no they have to install it themselves, so i go okay they need to make money. So I go down there after talking to them saying they had the part, they dont have it......Im going okay so not only did you not give me the part you lied saying you can have it ready. Its 2 teenagers running a shop which doesnt mean much, but they are dumbasses because they pretty much made promises they couldnt keep.
