Nelson was really great, friendly, professional and very efficient. I called to ask how long it would take to get an Apple Watch diagnostic. I was first told 2-4 weeks, but when I got to the location, Nelson was able to look at it, and from the rust coming out of my watch, he could tell it was not turning on due to water damage. And that the motherboard was far gone and he would not be able to turn it on. I just needed the diagnostic for my insurance to see if they can pay for the repair or replacement. This location has been very professional, organized and very time efficient since they moved to the new location a few doors down. I used to go there all the time with many cracked screens and issues with my iPhones. I really appreciate them and will definitely continue to come back and send friends and family to this location.

Told me my phone for a broken screen, will take 4 hours to fix. I get there to pick up my phone and its not fix. Claimed there is screw on the motherboard fine not a they issue, but when the news is told to me, the male tech there said I tried calling you and texting to let you know. I looked at him and told me you have my phone🤦‍♂️, so how would I have known...blank look by him, and just said here we could not fix. Lucky for them its not 1 star since Ausrion the insurance was awesome, them there not at all

Had an appointment to get a screen replacement for my phone today at 4pm. I arrived on time, walked in and the representative came out to look at my phone and tells me theres nothing wrong with it, and cancelled my appointment in front of me. My phone has a small knick in the screen and the AMOLED panel does not light up correctly in low brightness. My time was completely wasted by coming here only to be told theres nothing wrong with my phone and my appointment to be canceled on the spot, Im pretty sure the employee didnt want to do his job. Very unprofessional, and I would definitely not recommend coming here. Also good luck with trying to reach out to the store by calling them their phone line doesnt even work. No idea why Samsung sent me to a store that couldnt even help me.

They were horrible, Id give them negative 5 stars if I could. They did cosmetic damage to my phone repairing it.I brought in my device, initially the guy said there was NOTHING WRONG with the camera but there was clearly something wrong. after googling for a while he told me the parts were to show up on Tuesday and the device would be repaired by then and that they would contact me.Well they didnt call or text and by Friday I called them and they said oh yeah the parts arrived today... and this device would be ready to pick up by 4:30pm. okay fine. it was getting late so I went the next day Saturday to pick it up. but now, a different worker said it hasnt even been worked on yet, and an RMA to google had to be made before try could work on it and that hadnt been done. I asked if I could pick it up Sunday and he was like, eh call first (theyre not even open on Sundays)finally by 6pm Saturday I received a text that said it was ready to pick up and that theyre not open on Sundays.Monday I picked my phone up and at the store I didnt notice this but when I inspected the device at home they made scratches to the aluminum frame where they opened it up.

The main feedback is that I wasnt contacted that I could bring my phone in for repair. I had waited over a month to replace the cracked screen on my Samsung S20FE, since it was back ordered and, was anticipating some form of communication. When I asked about why I hadnt been contacted I was told my phone face plate -blue was discontinued- and they had just, the night before, been given permission to allow different colored faceplates with different colored backing. Can you confirm that?

Got the job done at a good price. These reviews left me with some doubts, but i ultimately said f#ck it and came here anyway. My phone camera glass lens broke, and i came to get it replaced. The price was decent, and it was ready within 2 hours. The guys that helped me out were nice, too. My camera lens looks good as new.

Denied service, wont be back, no stars isnt an option?After taking a moment to cool off, I understand why he couldnt help me under warranty. However, his attitude is what sent me thru the roof, somewhere between lazy and I dont care, even after checking with someone in the back, but mostly just happy that he didnt have to do anything. All I needed was a screen protector replaced as a known issue, and rather than try to assist, or give me a cost, just that dumb look and lame vibe like I cant help you. Take this as you will, Im over it.

I went in to get a cracked screen fixed on my Samsung Galaxy. The staff here pointed out that in fact my screen was fine; it was the clear plastic screen protector that had cracked. They peeled it off, my phone looked perfect, and they sent me on my way at no charge.Since then, Ive used them several times and been very happy. Id recommend them to anyone.

I took my laptop that had an issue with the charging port. I could place the power cord in A certain position and I was able to charge my laptop. I was told that the laptop was open to check charging port and was advice to open a claim. Since I’m a new customer to uBeakiFix and my time to actually file a claim is not till a week from now. I had no chance but to pick up my laptop. I could not charge my laptop. No matter how I position the power cord. I believe the technician made it posible to not be able to charge my laptop since they thought I would open a claim. I decided to open it myself and found all kind of dust bunnies. Guess it was hard for the technician to remove any dust. I’m so disappointed and will not return to this place. I want to thank the technician and hope he can have a little integrity and commitment to his work.

I made an online appointment because I wanted to get my wife’s iPhone shattered glass fixed. We were running early so we stop by before my appointment and the associate took us early. The fix took a couple of hours but when we got the phone back not only did it look like new but they had fixed the speaker which my wife could barely hear out of. I asked if they would put on a new screen protector that I brought in and they took care of it in ten minutes free of charge. I’m very impressed and satisfied with the attention and service these associates gave us. Be back for all my electronic fix needs. Thank you!

Brought in my phone as the volume button came off. Bought the phone at a major retailer 14 days prior to the problem and would think there was at least a month of not more of manufacturers warranty. Their response was I could buy insurance, and for a 200 dollar deductible and 10 a month they would fix it. For a few dollars more and no on going monthly charges it was fixed in 3 hours. In addition, the folks in the store were friendly, helpful and competent. Used them before, and when the inevitable happens, I will be back!

Prompt and courteous service the two days I came in to the store. The second day, I witnessed a disgruntled customer who was a lot angrier than she needed to be and taking it out on the staff, but the worker handled it beautifully! Excellent patience displayed for a super Karen. Only suggestion: a more efficient pickup process (faster plz). But thank you and Ill certainly return when it comes to phone repairs!

I have insurance on my Samsung phone with the one the company offers you when you buy the phone. I am covered, paying a deductible, in case the screen breaks. Samsung care+ sent me to this company to repair my cell phone. I made an appointment online I went and the horrible guy who attended me, at all times it seemed that he did not care about my problem, he told me that he did not have the screen available and that he was going to ask for it and he spoke to me, he never spoke to me a little more than One week I went to see if I had the screen and without caring, again with the same attitude of a useless, he told me that there was no longer going to be a screen for my phone that I should contact my company to get me another device, and for that I didnt he took the trouble to talk to me, complete waste of time with this useless.

Brought a Google Pixel 4 XL almost a year ago to get a new battery. Everything worked fine in the first few months but the battery quality degraded quickly thereafter. I didnt really care since I knew the phone was older. At almost the 11 months since brining it in the glue they put to hold the phone started degrading and the back was popping out. Phone stopped working shortly after.They refused to honor their 1 year warranty because my water indicator showed that the phone had gotten wet. Even if this is true, water could have only made its way inside because the inside of the phone was completely exposed after the glue came undone.They said that the battery swelled over time and pushed out the screen and thats what caused it to stop working. Keep in mind its a battery they put in. But because they claim water damage, even though there was no other evidence of it, they refused to honor the warranty. Wont be returning here. Brought an Xbox here once already and they didnt put it back together properly.They may have saved some money turning me away but they will be losing a paying customer and hurting their reputation.

Its a simple repair shop. They dont do much except change the battery and determine the issue. You will still have to send your broken device to the manufacturer in cases it is not battery related.

I called several phone repair places in my area. No one could beat their price. The closest someone got was still $60 more than them. They were fast and efficient. They had a great attitude. They didnt treat me as someone who didnt have any technical knowledge. I highly recommend this place

Please beware of taking any of your items to get repaired at this location. I took in my daughters laptop to get repaired. Took in the charger and the accesory (pen) which is inserted into the side slot of the laptop. My laptop was shipped out by the store. I received my laptop fixed a couple days later. I was missing the charger and the pen. Called the Asurion # to notify them and one hour later over the phone nothing was resolved but did recuperate the laptop charger with the help of a store employee the next day. Its almost been a week and no one contacted me back in regards to the missing pen. I called Asurion again and the was assisted by Juan who was the customer service representative. He called the store with me on the line and we spoke to Tyler who I originally left my daughters laptop with. He said in the beginning of our conversation that the pen was never with the laptop but when I told him that when I took in the laptop I showed him the pen by pushing it in and out of the laptop he says yes I shipped it out together. A case has been opened but the store has yet to accept fault. I hope this review is helpful for others and this store gets investigated or even shutdown.

👎Poor follow up customer service! Beware of this repair shop!! I called this shop based off, what looked like good reviews for them. I asked if they repaired Sony PS3s and I was told that they absolutely do. I already knew what the problem was and informed them when I dropped it off that the blue ray disc drive wasnt reading the discs when inserted. Everything else was working on it and I even updated the latest software version before I dropped it off. I left it and a few days later I got a call from them letting me know, what I already knew, that the blue ray drive wasnt working and they needed to order a new one. I agreed to move forward and was told that the repair should be done within a week. Well, that week turned into almost 2 months later. In that time, I was the one calling them every week just to be told every excuse in the book. I was told that there was a delay in the part being shipped, that they got a defective part on more than one occasion, that the wrong part was ordered and even the owner was blamed for not placing the order for the part at all. I know I spoke with Kevin, Michael and Tim and others that I didnt get names for. Not one of them ever called me back when they assured me that they would and kept apologizing for the delay. I was even told that they would reduce the cost of the repair because I was so understanding and patient. I feel that they had no idea what they were doing and wasted my time. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am considering contacting my connections in TV, Radio and Social Media to let them know about this place and to warn future customers of what they can expect. Nothing but lies, unprofessionalism and no respect for your time wasted. I picked up my sons PS3 2 months later and it wasnt repaired. Im sure glad that they got no money from me.👎

The estimated time for the repair took 2.5 hrs. I was told it would take 2 hours, but besides that the place and staff are very professional and they did an amazing job on my screen repair. They used original brand new Samsung parts which is a total plus! Love their work!

Brought my phone in for a battery issues. They diagnosed the problem quickly and, even though they were short staffed, were able to fit me in same day. They were very courteous and friendly and made the whole process as easy as possible.COVID Procedures: Because the storefront is small, only one customer is allowed in at a time. Also they are not open on Sundays at all while COVID procedures are in place. Masks are required (as is state law) and all the employees were properly wearing facial coverings (over both mouth and nose)

Beware of the unethical tactics. They make their money by eorbitant billing to uninsured individuals who are not protected by a Carriers insurance plan which limit the amount they charge. But in the event your phone is not covered they are free to charge you whatever you want and even denying warranty claims on devices still in warranty if its in their best interest to be able to charge you instead of a discounted warranty repair Build to a phone manufacturer. They just denied a warranty repair on my Samsung because it had a small scratch on the back of the case that had nothing to do with tje phones problem. If they do the work for Samsung theyll get $75 if they do it for me The same job will cost me $275. You ask yourself.

Service shop said they could fix phone in 1 day. It took them 3 days. They also scratched the edge of the phone and left fingerprints on the glass of the camera lens. Then they didnt disclose to me it was not covered under warranty. Pasadena store has much better service and communication.

Completely unprofessional and neglectful when addressing the immediate issue of a water spill on equipment. I brought in my laptop immediately after a water spill on Saturday, and was told they would complete a diagnostic that day. They also acknowledge how important timing was in dealing with these types of issues and I believed that my laptop was in good hands. On Monday, I tried calling the store for an update several times with no answer, so I drove over there to speak to someone in person. When I arrived, I was told they had just done the diagnostic that day and that “there was some corrosion”. Not only was that not the plan they had communicated to me, but they had not provided me with any new information, and in the process, had possibly worsened the condition of my laptop by delaying work on the water damage. I expressed this and their only response was “uh okay so do you want your laptop back?”. I did.

Serviced on 09/22/19. Repaired Pixel XL battery in 2 hours. Worked through a problem with Verizons extended warranty program, which wasnt even their fault. Transparent about screen fix options and pricing while my battery was being serviced. Eric was great at coordinating the process, Tim for handling the scheduling, and Michael for fixing the battery and applying the cellhelmet screen protection. Will definitely be coming back to this store for my phone repair and screen protection needs in the future.

Swapped a Pixel 1 motherboard, one that had a class action suit issue. Got a new one with a defective GPS, wont update in Maps - stuck on Searching for GPS. 3 times had it in for repairs, they couldnt identify the problem or replicate the issue. Gave them a video recording I took showing the issue. Got them to do it after a month of back and forth emails with Google. Yeah, I had to do that. Finally they changed it even though I pay for it. Now the battery doesnt last but they wont change it -Google wont allow it, because... they had to swap 2 motherboards.Last Google Phone I buy and will never use uBreakiFix.My worst customer service experience, EVER.

I cracked my screen and was not able to transfer my items from the old to the new phone. It took about 2 days for one of the gentlemen trying to retrieve my items. He finally did some magic and was able to save half of my items due to the findings of how damaged my phone really was. He was patient and he was very professional and letting me know on what was able to save and transfer. I really wanted my pictures but he did what he could but mostly got my contacts. I appreciate all the effort and time he put into in my phone while still working on others. Thank you so much and I would recommend them to everyone. They even put a movie while I waited.

Extremely good service. Very friendly people. I was able to arrange a time to drop off the phone. They gave me an accurate pick up time later that day. Completely replaced a shattered screen on my Pixel 3a in one afternoon! Their price point was excellent and matched many places online for just the screen (youd have to do the repair yourself)! On top of everything, they are Googles approved repair center so I know that I got an OEM (i.e., actual Google screen) Pixel display. The screen looks as good as it did the day I got it. I also thought I should mention that during Covid, they limit their small lobby to a single customer at a time. I totally appreciated that. Completely recommend uBreakiFix in Duarte!

Terrible customer service, they dont stand by their work. They claim 90 day warranty but when I brought the phone back the next day the Manager Tyler says theres nothing he can do. To make matters worse as im having a heated discussion, after he tells me my $1300 phone wont turn on... One of the associates comes from the back trying to be intimidating. I dont recommend this store.

After spending $350 plus tax to fix the Note 9 screen. Once I got the device back the charge port no longer worked properly. Only one side of any c- cable would work with fast charge. So I took it back in. First the guy said it was my charger. I told him I only use official Samsung Fast charge and officially licensed C-type cables and I tried more than one and all of them did the same thing. He then said I must have gotten it dirty. I informed him I just had it repaired by them and it was only after they replaced the screen that the issue started occuring. He then became defensive and said they fixed it perfectly and nothing they did could cause that. I asked if they had to pull the front and back off when they replaced the screen as I was familiar with the procedure, he said yeah, but he knows they fixed it perfectly. I then asked if he was the one that repaired it. He then stated no, in fact he didnt even work at this store normally and they he was filing in for someone. I then asked how he knows they fixed it perfectly and they didnt cause the issue when replacing the screen. He said something like because they dont make mistakes. . This was a couple of months ago, but since the phone is still doing it and it frustrates me daily i figured I should let others know before they spend small fortunes to repair their devices here. Also the replacement S-pen cane in bulk packaging and Im not positive it was official samsung since it snapped in half within a week of purchasing it. Warranty apparently didnt cover the s-pen either. This is the first and likely last time Ill ever go here and would rather pay almost anyone else to repair my devices in the future.

Found this place off Samsung.com and I made an appointment. I received a phone call asking about the damage to my phone and I provided detailed information. I was quoted $109 for the back glass replacement. I agreed with that price, but when I get to the store, suddenly the chubby girl at the counter says they have to replace the camera as well, because they are a Samsung certified repair shop. They want an additional $169.I asked why they couldnt save a me a trip in traffic and she replies that they cant disclose that information over the phone. 🤦🏽‍♂️Walked out. These guys were quick and precise with the repair to my old phone, which had its screen broken. The reason Im rating it two stars, is because I am now extremely hesitant to go back to them for future repair jobs.I brought in my original Xbox (a retro console from my childhood) to be inspected and cleaned. The console worked almost perfectly, aside from the disk reader not reading disks properly. I bring it in and they do their diagnostic. I wait a couple weeks, and my mother hears back from them saying that the console was unrepairable and did not say why.Im like Okay, maybe the laser lense got damaged or something. I get it, its a 20 year old console, and the parts are hard to find. I come back to bring it home, and ask what was wrong with it, and they mention roaches... naturally to my utter shock. So I bring it home, and open it up outside to scavenge the HDD for the memory inside it... and find absolutely no evidence of roaches whatsoever.This was the first red flag. It gave me the impression that they didnt want to do the work, which yeah I get it. The console is 20 years old, parts are hard to come by. But I still felt deceived by them. So I decide to follow a guide online and go through the delicate process of making the repair myself. All it needed was a cleaning of the laser lens, which on inspection was intact and almost like-new (expected, since disk readers and HDDs are sealed units to protect sensitive components from dust contamination).I do the repair, and thats that. Except they also somehow *misplaced* the A/C adapter for the console, and gave me an incompatible one. How the actual heck did they manage that?! As I read the other reviews just before making this one, it looks like th training, professionalism and attitude of this companys employees are woefully inconsistent. This is why I am so hesitant to come back to them, as I worry they might make an excuse not to want to repair other electronics... or possibly even damage other electronics further and find some way to blame it on us.I urge customers to use caution, when coming to this place.

I went in there and ordered a part for my broken phone with Nelson on a Saturday, who told me that the part would arrive sometime the following week. I phoned on Thursday and someone who answered said rhe part had arrived on Tuesday but they didnt notify me because it was my job to check. So I went in the following Saturday only to find out, the part had not been ordered and consequently was now out of stock and back ordered. Something shady is going on with how the business is managed. To provide some background: after a month of struggling to fix my Xbox they threw in the towel and declared it irreparable. I told them they can go ahead and recycle the Xbox, to which one of their employees said he would mark it as abandoned. Then came the struggle of getting my $75 deposit refunded. Basically only the managers have clearance to issue refunds and they were extremely difficult to reach. Only by the good graces and persistence of an employee named Ruben was this eventually resolved (after several days). Then came the clincher...Three days after receiving my refund, an $800+ fraudulent transaction appeared on the credit card that (for the past year) I basically have only used on that Xbox. The charge was listed as a Microsoft Store purchase. Whats crazy is that I already deleted this credit card from my Microsoft account before going to Ubreakifix. Additionally, there are no recent transactions listed on my Microsoft account. Someone who is somehow associated with Ubreakifix was able to still extract the credit card information from my Xbox and commit this crime. Either it was a Ubreakifix technician, or Ubreakifix didnt wipe out my hard drive and someone unauthorized got access. Either way, this incident has completely obliterated my trust in their technical expertise and integrity. Future wayfarers beware!

Called (3) different local phone repair companies UBreakIFix were the only ones that had the LCD replacement for my Galaxy S10 in stock. Not to mention they were the cheapest and by far best to speak to over the phone. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Tim, super informative, nice and very helpful. You Definitely get what you pay for. If you buy a $90 screen replacement you get exactly that. I replaced LCD and screen on my galaxy s10 plus and it was pricy but they renewed my manuafacture warranty through Samsung itself. My phone is having issues with the screen lighting up but since I still have it under warranty im just going to get a new one 🙃 fast service and they do great work

Went to this place with high hopes and left severely disappointed. I had called the Pasadena location the day before to make sure they take Google phones and they confirmed that they do in Pasadena. When I came to this Durate store, they refused to help fix my phone or even look at it. Because of the water damage they said they were legally not allowed to look at or touch my phone or it would break their contract with google... WHAT?! I insisted that it was okay for about 10 minutes before they completely refused to service my phone. After I left I got on the phone with google and they said I was supposed to go there to get my phone fixed. Although I must say the staff were always friendly when i visited the shop, my experience with them was a nightmare, I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and the battery wasn’t that good, so I decided to get a new one, I had discovered online that there was a possibility that the screen would get damaged while changing the battery, but I was okay with that, what really upset me was that there was absolutely no communication, I never knew the status of my laptop, and that it took over 2 months to get my laptop back, in between I had visited the shop several times (I had too because there was no communication), and while there I was told several different stories, worst one being that they could not repair my laptop, it was unrepairable, so I took a completely functioning laptop there and get a broken one back, then it should be called ufixibreak!!!! I was on a business trip for the 3 months, and that was my only means of answering E-Mails, apart from my cell phone, which was what I had to use for all my business corresponding’s. As I came to the end of my business trip i finally got a message from ubreakifix to say that my laptop was ready to be picked up, i had already said i wanted a sensible reduction in the bill for my laptop because I had to wait for such a long time, all I got was 30$ off my bill, not to say I was more than disappointed and disgusted with everything to do with this shop, like I said when I was in the shop everyone was friendly, but having to wait over 2 months for a battery change, and with the complete lack of communication on the part from ubreakifix, I will definitely not be going back there again, and would advise anyone against going there.

What bad service from this store, I called for an appointment to fix my Xbox series and they assigned me an appointment, I bring the equipment and they tell me that it will be ready in a maximum of 5 days, but after 5 days I call and they tell me 3 more days, years I called for 3 days and they told me to go through it, but big surprise, they didnt even check it and they made us lose 2 weeks and round-trip transportation, so I dont recommend this place at all.
