I’m very reasonable and easy to please. I gave my item for repair. They gave it back to me filthy with dirt marks all over it. To put it into perspective, I’ve used like Ps5 10 times Total since day one release. They aged my items as though I’d had it for 5 years. And the response I got was, “I don’t know the condition it was received in, so I can’t say anything”…at the very least the employee had the decency to take the item back and clean the grime off the unit. And this review is before I’ve had the chance to test it they actually made the repair. Very disappointed. (Photos attached are after they attempted to clean the PS5 but there was still damage) keep in mind he went back twice and the blackness/dirt surrounding the unit literally covered the entire PS5. Luckily most of it came off. As I mentioned before, easy to please. Just give it to me in the repaired condition that It was dropped off in. Lesson learned, TAKE BEFORE PHOTOS to compare.

Where do I start. I’ll just start by saying that Kevin is the best and most honest/friendliest person I met at any electronics repair store. I had iPhone insurance through Verizon. I ended up canceling and signing up for Asurion insurance. They replaced my iPhone charging port, screen and my daughter’s tablet screen and beats headphones. Please talk to Kevin about better options than paying full out of pockets prices.

All fixed in 3 hours, even without the parts in stocks!After a friendly greeting, we soon found the parts were not at the location I visited. Still, a nearby store (20 miles) had parts, so they were couriered over, and repairs completed same day. Phone is as good as new now.

This person cheats, my phone had LCD not was loose and this guy touches the phone and then says it will be $25. Then he did something and screen was not coming up. Then he says we have to replace the LCD else its useless. Or I still have to pay $25. Or I can replace it for $140. Later on he calls and says its microphone dont work even though it was working when I gave him. Then he replaces the screen and no microphone function. Then he said he can charge $40 more to fix that. Today I notice my speaker phone not working that he may have kept it loose. So in simple dont go this guy, he will be rip you off and make your phone not usable at all.

Is hard to believe this phone to have come back from the dead as I ran it over with a 4k forklift. I didnt have much faith, but in under a day, the staff here was able to replace the screen, and it was like brand new again. Since then, I have learned my lesson. It was maybe $100 to fix and super fast.

They fixed the broken screen fine. I had two issues with my experience.When I went to collect they gave a phone with zero charge in it. I would think basic courtesy to charge phone to 10% at least.The person who took my initial order made me run around calling Google customer service one more time and then she found my order, she gave all kinds of story on it takes 24 h for an order to show up etc. If it was so, she should have said it right away or her colleague who sent me to her store would have mentioned it. Felt like experience was very robotic.

Took my laptop here in hopes to improve the temps. Not sure why they agreed to doing what was asked as it was executed very poorly. The only reason I took it here was to not void my warranty. Instead of making my laptop run cooler, it ran worse. I knew I should have just done it myself. Thermal paste wasn’t applied correctly to the cpu, gpu, vrms, and gddr chips. If you’re not comfortable performing the task requested, don’t accept to do it.

After contacting Verizon regarding my cracked screen, I was referred to UBREAKifix. I walked into the Fremont location and I was assisted promptly. The intake process took less than 5 minutes. The young man who greeted me was pleasant and explained that the repairs could be done in a few hours.In less than 2 hours my Galaxy Note was repaired to complete satisfaction. My phone looks brand new and performs fine.I would definitely use them again and recommend this location highly . Just got my Google Pixel 8 Pro phone repaired by Tai (who I scheduled my appointment over the phone with) and got the quotes and got my questions answered by Anthony Dao at the front desk. Both were super courteous in their customer service and comprehensive with what my options were for repairing the screen, replacing the back casing, different levels of diagnostics that I could do, etc.I also really love that uBreakiFix is one of the only authorized Google repair stops, so I feel more confident that the parts that Im getting and the repairs that are being done are Google authorized

I sent my pixel 4a 5g for a battery replacement. The work was completed quickly. The phone was serviced with no additional damage and the issues I was having with it before the battery replacement were resolved. The shop technician was accommodating since I had no backup phone to use. I was able to communicate through someone elses phone and through email. The total cost was $110 with tax. An authentic battery was used for the replacement. The whole process took about 5 business days.

Called ahead to confirm availability of parts. Came in right way after they confirmed and only 3 people in front of me. Then was stuck in line for 45 minutes while the employee at the register would walk into the back constantly to chat with the technicians. I could hear them chatting about non-work related topics. By the time it was my turn, the employee said they reserved the part I called about for someone else while I was in line. Would not have been an issue if employees stayed on task. Disappointing.

I was told about this company from Samsung Customer Support, due to having to unlock a phone where the previous owners Gmail and pin # were still associated with the phone. Ubreakifix informed me that it may take up to 2 days for completion. I left the phone there and within the hour I was notified that the phone had been restored and ready for re-deployment.

WORST PLACE TO GET YOUR PHONE FIXED. DO NOT GO THERE.This is the second time I am having an issue with this company. Last year I went to the one in Decoto and received no service. This year i decided to go to a different store. I took my Samsung Z fold 3 as the Folding mechanism had an issue and my phone was not fully opening. When I went to pick my phone, the hinged was fixed and functioning well but my from screen was full damaged. They was a luminous vertical line from top to bottom. The guy said that because my outer screen had a minor crack at the bottom that caused that and that I should pay 120 to get a new screen. I told him my screen has been functioning well and thats not what I brought the phone here for and that now my phone is actually worse than when I came in. He even had the audacity to say that I still can use my phone as is. I went back to the store the following day and I met another employee who now directly blamed it on me and even gave me a quoute of 181.90 to get my screen fixed. I asked why they attempted to fixed my phone if they knew that the minor scratch could cause damage. All he could say is theres nothing we can do They even let my phone on repair mode and when I asked to fixed that too he said I do not know what that is DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Especially if your phone is under warranty they will make sure you end up paying for something. Now I am here with a phone glowing like its from star wars and I been asked to pay 181.90 to have it fixed and I DID NOT DAMAGE IT. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM U BREAKT IT IFIX IT. DO NOT GO HERE.

This electronics repair store is great - clean, fast, and staff is friendly. I scheduled an appointment in two minutes online, and I dropped off my laptop the next weekday morning with no wait. They did a free diagnosis for me, and called me that evening to explain the issues and answer all my questions. Anthony did a thorough job handling my case. I had first taken my computer to Apple, who seemed to misdiagnose the issue. I showed it to a friend who is an expert then brought it to UBreakiFix, both confirming that the Apple diagnosis was incorrect. I picked up my laptop the next day and Anthony gave me some suggestions on what I could do next in terms of fixing, reselling, or just buying a new one since the damage was extensive on the logic board. Thank you Shaik for going above and beyond to get it fixed.From 6 months ago..We got the pixel 5a cracked phone screen fixed for slightly more than the cost of getting a refurbished phone online. We opted to get the phone fixed because it would save us the trouble of data and app transfer.This shop makes it super easy to get an appointment online. The price is communicate upfront. It is really easy to interact with the friendly staff. The device looked like new after being fixed.Slightly pricey but worth the extra for simplicity and quality of work.

I went to uBreakiFix because I couldnt transfer my data from Pixel 3a to 6a. Google support asked me to take my phone there to get help. In their 1st attempt, they concluded that the phone was defective and its motherboard needed to be changed. So, they got Googles approval to install a new motherboard. I still had problems after a new motherboard was installed. So, their technician transferred the data from the old to the new phone using another method. Everything is working nicely now. They were very helpful and get the job done promptly.

I am not sure how this place even does any business. If you call the store no one answers and there is no way to leave a message since their voicemail is not even set up. I showed up to the store today because I had an appointment at 10 AM, which is crazy being that the store is not even open even though it’s supposed to be according to their business hours, door is locked and lights are off and no sign of anyone being inside. There was also another customer who said he has been waiting outside for over 40 minutes. This is a sign of poor management or lack thereof.

The biggest issue was that it seems that only the Fremont and Union City locations are able to work on Samsung Galaxy flip phones, which for me required driving 45 minutes or more one way. Those two locations are fairly close together, and UBreak should try to spread this capability more around the Bay Area.

Very good customer service. I brought my broken Samsung fold phone here and was expecting to spend $600 on a repair today. When speaking with the front desk worker, they mentioned that next time I should get an insurance plan. I mentioned that I did have one through AT&T but I wasnt sure if I should file a claim for the issue; they encouraged me to file the claim because it would save me a lot of money and headache. I did file a claim and am getting a replacement phone through my insurance instead of getting the inner screen replaced, as planned... so it seems to be a net positive. I appreciate how honest and forthcoming the front desk worker was, and will definitely come back if I need repairs to my electronics in the future.

Last September, my daughter had her iPhone 11 back-glass repaired at this shop. Very poor service and customer service. Ok, no problem, I can handle that. Here is the problem. When she got the phone back, you could clearly see there was damage done to the frame of the iPhone where it meets the edge of the glass. It was all nicked up. After MUCH communication back and forth with UBIF, they provided a refund of the back glass repair cost. I appreciated the agents communication - it was very good. But the resolution was horrible. The iPhone was still damaged and they offered nothing to compensate for it other than reimbursing me for the cost of the service they provided -which damaged the phone.But hold on, there is more.9 months later - the battery in the iPhone exploded. My daughter took it to the Apple Store, and after examining the inside, they concluded that the inside of the phone had been damaged by the person (UBIF technician) who replaced the back -glass. (Of course, Apple was unable to repair it because a third-party did the back glass repair - I get that.). I contacted UBIF immediately and asked for their assistance, and to compensate me for the damage, but no reply at all.Dear UBIF, I am very disappointed in the quality & the integrity of your service. It has been very costly for my daughter who is a college student. Would you please consider compensating my daughter for the damage that has been done? Thank you in advance for making this right.

This review is about multiple experiences with the same device:My first experience was great, dropping off my phone and having it fixed promptly. It was a screen replacement so simple enough. The price was reasonable, I think around $150 for a Pixel 4a.A few months later, the screen went black and started lifting from the frame. I brought the device in, and the screen was replaced again, all seemed well. Fast forward 2 days and the screen was lifting from a corner. I brought it back in and it was re-adhered. Fast forwards another 2 days and the same thing happens. I take it back to the shop and speak with a worker there. They take my phone back and come out saying “sorry, it’s bent and there’s nothing we can do”.Important points: I’m not sure if the bend was there originally as nothing was mentioned the previous the times I had been there, and no compensation was offered. I am now left with many gas miles accrued and a phone with a lifted screen.I am aware this could have been a simple oversight, but even still I cannot recommend this shop for the experience I had. I drove a cumulative 4 hours and still have a less than good condition device that I cannot even trade in due to the screen lifting.

They chipped my phone during the battery replacement but they would not tell me honestly, they told me that phone was already chipped before and the reason for me not to see it before because the screen protector was holding it. I looked carefully, the screen protector was sitting on display, quite distance from the frame, so what he told me was not right. Not only I lost the screen protector I got a hole on my side of the phone now. If he was honest with me that he chipped my phone perhaps I would accept that but he wasnt....from being happy to being dissatisfied.So I called the number on the reply and they actually answered me and escalated the issue to a manager. Few days later a manager called me and assured me that they would replace the chipped mid frame. I was hesitating to bring my phone back. Finally the screen repair business has moved from a back-alley business to a professional and well run predictable process. I had my Samsung Note 20 Ultra screen replaced, which is a fairly involved process under the Asurian warranty. The entire process was smooth, but the best part were the folks at this Fremont branch. I do not recommend this place and here is why:This is the closest location to me (40 miles!) where I can get a replacement battery for my Pixel phone, so I scheduled an appointment for their Sunday opening hour (noon) and received a confirmation email with the estimate of $79 plus tax. There were 3 walk-in customers in front of me. Appointment did not matter, I had to wait in line behind the walk-ins. At 12:30, I finally was at the counter. I was told that it takes 3-4 hours and it would cost $99 plus tax - thats 25% more. I was disappointed because someone who had the same operation done at the Santa Clara location told me it took under 2 hours. Where do you go in the empty mall for 3-4 hours? I asked if it could be expedited since my home was an hour drive away. The woman at the counter explained that it takes 4 hours. They charge $50 for 1 hour of labor, but it takes 4 hours? I was back by 4:30 and was told that my device was not ready. It took them until 5:15 before my phone was ready. There were several people ahead of me picking up their same day orders. Guess what, none of those people was in front of me at noon. They clearly got there after me but were taken care of before me. I suspect that my phone was not even touched until 4:30 when I got to the counter. The woman at the counter (Sheree) was slow and unhelpful.There are simple things they could do instead of blaming their sloppy service on COVID-19:1. Confirmation email should warn that service is slow, so the customer would figure out how to find a public restroom in the mall where everything is closed and maybe bring their own food for the 5 hours of waiting.2. Instead of giving the customer an unpleasant surprise of 25% price increase, just tell them to inquire at the store about a cost.3. Do not lie to the customer that a 1 hour labor to replace the battery takes 3-4 hours when in fact it takes almost 5 hours.4. Just stop the fiction of appointment-based service - it only sets false expectations that you would get any advantage by scheduling it in advance.

I brought my Pixel 3 XL in for a battery replacement because my battery just wasnt lasting as long as it used to. Batteries degrade over time, so this is expected. They quoted me $99 and it ended up being a little bit cheaper. They even finished in about half the time than they initially said it would take.My battery life is much better now and they did a great job replacing it. Without exaggeration, that was 4.5 hours of my time driving back and forth to get there.I should have just left because when they finally did the repairs, they did them in record time IE they did not do a good job. Whatever parts they used to do the repair or whatever shoddy workmanship they did has left my phone unable to hold a charge.When I talked with other staff at a different Ubreakifix location, they said it should not have been such a fast job and that a solid repair takes at least twice as long if not longer. Within 2 weeks the screen protector began to lift off the glass in multiple areas. uBreakiFix says there is a 90 day warranty. When I brought it back to have the screen protector properly attached, I was told that is not covered by warranty. Clearly, they did not make sure the glass was perfectly clean before installing the screen protector. If their poor workmanship is not covered under warranty, why would you get any repair done here? I also doubt that the replacement screen protector meets the Samsung standards.Notice how the owner responds only to positive reviews and does not acknowledge any of the negative reviews. That is very revealing about the owner.

Friendly people, customer service oriented. Did a great job fixing my pixel problem after negotiating a deal with Google after the warranty had expired. And they were thoughtful enough to call and ask if I wanted to buy a new battery at a reduced price because the phone was already open. My pixel has functioned beautifully since the motherboard and battery replacement. They are also very fast. Even though they are not close to where I live I would gladly drive there should I ever need another repair.Wish they would open a branch in Oakland.

I have been trying to fix the back camera for my pixel 3 for over a month and a half now with this place. The first time I went in, they did not have the part which is, well, fine, its an older model. The staff said they would put in an order and got my contact information. Well, I never got a call. A few weeks later I called in myself. On 7th attempt throughout the day, someone picked up the phone. They assured me they got the part. When I came in, it turned out it was the front camera they got. Very professional front desk person took my information, claimed there will be an order. So I waited, and waited, and waited. But guess what, no one called again. I tried calling a few times throughout the day to check in on the part, but no one picks up the phone. So dont have your hopes up.

They say what they do, and do what they say. UBIF did a great job replacing my Pixel screen after an unfortunate drop on a concrete floor. They had a 2 hour turn-around time, and while it was a little spendy ($150 out the door), they did a fine job and my phone is like-new again. Hope to not return anytime soon, but if I need to, I will come back.

Id never gone to get any electronics repaired before so I wasnt sure what to expect, but my visit here was surprisingly pleasant. The workers were all so friendly and finished my phone repair fairly quickly. The bottom of the receipt also provides a way to track the status of your order. I hope not to need their services again, but would certainly head back here next time

My mom accidentally dropped her phone on the street pavement and the screen shattered/cracked in different places and we needed a trustworthy place for repair.Found UbreakIFix through the Samsung website, looking for a reliable mobile repair shop for her Samsung S10+. My repair unit was in the shop for 3 weeks I had to call several times to get an answer on the phone neither of the phone numbers were answered. I finally got someone on the phone she could not give me an update so she said she would call me. No call, went to the store it was closed until further notice .. there was an email to locate the manager on the door . I was able to get the store hours for Saturday and went to get an update. For several weeks their website showed the parts needed to be ordered. Come to find out the parts order had been cancelled. The tech said he could not give me a time frame for the repair and I should take the unit elsewhere. I took the unit and went elsewhere for less cost. The communication was non-existent

Came in to have my Samsung GS10 screen replaced (apparently, this device is one of the most expensive to have a screen replacement on and takes very long to run post repair testing. This is a Samsung fault and has nothing to do with whomever fixes the phone). Even though it was 2 hours before closing, the team assured me it would be done (they also were the only dealer in the Bay Area to have the parts in stock, everyone else needed to order). Arrived at closing time and was told it would take longer as Samsung has a very long test process for any work being done at this authorized dealer. I waited as the team here knows what quality is and went out of their way to stay after closing to make sure the job was done. Huge thank you to Eric and everyone else who worked on my phone as it was done same day as promised. Hopefully, do not need to use this service again but will gladly recommend that all my friends and coworkers do. Cannot stress enough, quality of work is perfect, easily 5 stars across all categories.

Replaced my pixel 2xl screen, one of the speakers stopped working afterwards. Company not willing to offer an appointment or guarantee of priority to correct the issue.Edit: After bringing my phone in to be fixed after they broke the speaker, they proceed to break the motherboard and just like that I had no phone. They offered me a pixel 1 loaner (which didnt have an e-sim), so I had to go buy a sim card just to have a functioning phone. A month later, and a dozen calls, emails later they finally agreed to replace the phone...Absolutely horrendous experience in which not only did they never fix the problem, they destroyed my phone requiring dozens of hours to get a new phone up and running
