First time here and the food was very good and the service as well. There was a long wait for the food to be served due to kitchen rush hour but we got our food. The restaurant is very clean. They have outside patio seating and bar seating as well. I love the decor inside and its a lot of history into this restaurant.

I was blown away by the food. It is delicious! Ive had plenty of omelettes in other restaurants but this one takes the crown. I got the South Pasadena omelette and it was amazing. It is packed with cheese, mushrooms, and perfectly folded. Every single bite was packed with the main ingredients. The eggnog french toast with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries was to die for! The decaf mocha was spot on and the coffee was amazing. Finally, we also had the Sunrise Burger, which was so yummy. I had to take pictures of every single plate just so I can look at them and share about how wonderful this place is. I will keep coming back to continue making memories here with my family. This was an unforgettable first meal of 2024.

We walked down from Raymond hill to Twohey’s one Sunday morning. After a 30 min or so wait, we were taken to our table. I have to admit that this is the first time we’ve been to this location since it opened and had no expectations. We looked around and noticed some delicious looking plates being delivered to tables around and were hopeful our selection would be just as picturesque. After a brief deliberation we settled on a few favorites. First was the short rib hash. The short ribs and potatoes sat in a wonderful au jus type gravy and the eggs on top rounded out the dish. The short ribs were tender, the cherry tomatoes provided a refreshing pop of palate cleansing goodness, and the toast provided a vessel by which all of these wonderful ingredients could be married together. Next was the Napa omelette, bursting with vegetables and perfectly complimented by the crispy home style potatoes. Another must order was the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy rich and hearty. The side of hash browns and eggs paired perfectly. Of course, since it was also lunch time, someone had to order the everything burger with a side of onion rings. The burger was juicy and toppings piled high, while the onion rings were freshly battered and crisped to perfection. They really know how to make a good onion ring. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we were pleasant surprised at the overall vibe, atmosphere, and attentiveness of the staff. The music was great and our meals came out of the kitchen in a timely manner. We look forward to returning again soon, they have such a large menu you can come several times before having the same thing again.

Took my girl to dinner last night decided to sit at the bar. Pleasant surprise. We can actually be served dinner there.The service was excellent. The food was good and we had a wonderful time.

Lovely restaurant with a great menu. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I got the eggnog French toast. I’m not sure what about it made it ‘eggnog’, but it was delicious and beautifully plated. I love that it had a generous amount of berries on top. The restaurant had high chairs available, was clean, and we didn’t have to wait for a table.

I was seated right away, the server was super attentive and helpful with menu suggestions. the food and drinks came pretty quick too. the bathrooms were well kept. there was also plenty of seating. It didn’t feel crowded at all, and you can choose indoor or outdoor seating. I ordered the mimosas, and they were strong and delicious! I’m definitely coming back and recommending this place to friends and family.

There were a lot of people when we came here, so the wait was long. But, it seemed like it took as long to get our food. We would have liked it if our salad came out first. But, they waited for all the food to be ready. By this time, we were starving!The service was not bad. But it could have been better. Our server checked back with us only once. At some point, he had to go on his break, which he kindly told us after introducing us to a new server. But she was never seen after then. So, we had to ask another server for our check.The mediocre service and the smell from the inside of the restaurant—which was that of ketchup of some sort—was a turnoff. But, the food was not bad. The fish n chips wasn’t a big portion, but tasty. The pulled pork sandwich was on the small side, but they gave us a lot of fries. And, the chicken piccata had the right amount of zest.

I was actually surprised by the food here. I had a patty melt and it wasn’t too greasy, the garlic fries were delicious, and everything tasted fresh. The outside seating was nice and the service was pretty fast. Recommend for brunch or a lunch meeting.

First time here, I found it on google maps. We got there at 8:15PM and it wasn’t crowded, we were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were out of soup so we had breakfast for dinner. I had South Pasadena Omelette with hash browns and sour dough toast. My wife had a Denver omelette with hash browns and sour dough toast. The meals were both flavorful and delicious! The eggs were moist and packed full of ingredients! I thought I tasted cheddar flavor in hash browns though waitress said there was no cheese in them. After breakfast for dinner we shared a banana split. The prices were reasonable. Very nice diner vibe with all American menu! It’s a really old restaurant in a new location. The building is modern. Outdoor seating is available. I recommend this place!

First time at the new South Pasadena location and the food was just as delicious as before! The servers were all polite and they have lots of free parking in their lot. Highly recommend their World Famous Hot Fudge Sundae!
