Came here because I saw that this dealership has good reviews (which is quite rare to find) and I was interested in getting a Sonata. Terry assisted me with the process and he was nice and helpful. I like that this dealership doesn’t have any hidden fees or extra markups on the sale price and Terry was able to negotiate a good deal for me. It was my first time purchasing a car on my own and I felt comfortable from beginning to end. I’m happy that the process was smooth and overall stress free. I recommend coming here for your next car.

I really have a good experience with Dennis here, when I first test drive the car, he basically walk me through the whole features inside and outside of the car. I didn’t buy it on the first day, because buying a car is a big decision. I text him on the next day, claiming that if he can make some negotiations on the monthly payments for leasing. I’ll take the car. He immediately respond to me and process documents for me. I really like my new car, perfect color, perfect interior. I think the only minor complaint is no wireless apple car play. But overall IONIQ 5 is a really awesome car and I’ll definitely recommend Dennis!

Great car buying experience with Marcos. This dealership doesnt add on a ton of superfluous and unnecessary fees. I liked that we had the ability to test drive both freeway and local street to check the capabilities of the engine and handling. We had a smooth car buying process and I would recommend purchasing at Tustin Hyundai. Marcos in particular was great to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles we inquired about, did a detailed description of the features prior to test driving, and got us a few hundred dollars off a certified pre-owned. I was nervous buying a car because it was a big investment and I had limited funds, but saw a good deal online. I came in on a Saturday and was immediately welcomed by Marcos. After I asked about the car, he handed me the keys to test drive less than 2 minutes after we entered the dealership. We were looking at several vehicles at other dealerships, but we were able to negotiate such a reasonable deal that we bought the car. We didnt feel pressured to buy and Marcos actually worked with us to fit our budget. He was personable and answered all questions about the vehicle. Very frustrating experience. I leased a Nexo nearly 2.5 years ago, and soon after hydrogen prices skyrocketed. Even though I am way under the mileage, I am almost out of funds on the fuel card. It costs nearly $200 for each fuel-up (with maybe a 300 mile range). Hyundai is unwilling to do anything so now I’m stuck with a very expensive car to drive. On top of that, Tustin Hyundai has ONE technician to work on the Nexo, and no other service centers nearby will work on them either. My car sat (untouched) for more than 2 weeks on the lot after my appointment date, before they could start on it. (The problems were NOT resolved but I wasn’t willing to go back again.) They gave me a loaner which was nice, however I have stickers on my car that made it hard to do without. The people who work in service are quite friendly and try to be helpful - this isn’t their fault. Sorry to say it has been a bad experience and I will avoid Hyundai going forward.

Although these minor things were denied, including replacing a cracked vanity mirror (guessing a $25 fix for them which speaks to the dealership, not Scott). I still commend his effort. My sales person Max was terrific. I had my 30 pound dog with me (was only looking, doing research…). I declined Maxs offer to test drive being I had the dog. Max offered to assist me with my four legged sidekick, so I said ok. I test drove an ionic 5. The car far exceeded my expectations. Being Max was not pushy or overly chatty I took a liking to him. And took him up on his offer to show me the incentives and cost. After a quick 30 minutes a deal was completed. No back and forth with the sales manager. No stress.I’ve had my new car 1 week. I went into Tustin hyundai set on getting a certain car. They had just sold the last one that day. But Dennis let me know that there was another option for a limited version of the car that I wanted. He went above and beyond to help me through the process and make it as painless as possible. I almost give up hyundai this brand after visiting few dealerships. I wanted my desired OTD and they said ok, but they keep playing tricks and lie to me until the last step. There was one dealer agreed with my OTD and pulled my score without my approval, then said I only qualify for hyundai T3 and can only use 7% apr (they lied to me). But things changed till i met Scott and his Manager Shawn. It was raining when I first Scott. he spend a lot of time with me in the rain to checkout multiple cars. Shawn is also nice with good attitude and patience, he spent sometime to explain why cant he give my desired OTD, which is few hundred less and doesnt play any tricks on me at all. my real credit score is 755 and qualify for T1 and get the 3.75% for 60 month. which is good deal. I will start out by saying Hyundai used to be great. Any issues I had were always dealt with care and concern. Once your warranty is up though, good luck. I had a catalytic converter replaced in 2021 (through my powertrain warranty). The other day I had it replaced again!! Before I made a decision to have the repair done, I called Hyundai and spoke with a service manager who gave me a year / 80k mile excuse for the convertor. Now mind you, last one was factory and barely made it 3 years, after the first one went at 10! Well, I went somewhere else for this (EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE) repair... and wont buy a Hyundai again.

The only reason it does not get 5 stars is because this dealership charges $50 more for a diagnostic fee, than the dealership in Studio City CA.My 13 Sonata Hybrid Went into limp mode. It had the dreaded, excessive vibration connecting rod bearing.Engine code. SoI towed it into the dealership. After the mechanic.Inspected, I was assured ir was not the known connecting rod bearing problem with my vehicle, and I was told it needed a new intake manifold and EGR Valve. I questioned Alex about why the intake manifold would need to be replaced, asking if it was cracked. I explained to Alex, I live in Arizona, and I was just trying to get home, asking if there was any way that the mechanic could do what he could to get me back on the road, so I could get home four hundred miles away.Later that afternoon I received a call that my car was ready to be picked up.I was relieved to find out they were going to charge me the diagnostic fee, they fixed my car and reset the codes and I made it home just fine.When I arrived at home, there was a notice from Hyundai about an important safety recall about my ABS fuse.I called to inquire whether they had done anything about it because nothing had been said. I was told they took care of it while my car was there. I was very happy all was done!!I wonder if my 18 year old daughter would have been the one that towed the car in there, and wouldnt have known to ask whether the intake manifold was cracked or whether the EGR was leaking, broken or just needed to be cleaned, whether she just would have plunked down Daddys credit card, and been charged over a thousand dollars to replace my intake manifold and EGR. I wonder whether she would have received the same cost effective care that I did, by knowing enough to ask questions. I guess I will never know. But again, I was very happy to be back home with my car taken care of correctly!!!

This review is long overdue for Marcos and the Patterson Hyundai team. We have bought 2 cars from this dealership and from Marcos. Tough these days to find a trustworthy dealership with sales people who have your best interest in mind vs their own numbers and objectives (of course everyone has a job to do and goals and numbers are the lifeblood of all business) being a business person myself, I can appreciate all the customer service and transparency.In 2021 my wife and I purchased a new Palisades with no mark up. This is when many dealers where asking for 3-5K more. Of course, during the shortage there was no wiggle room so didn’t bather trying to get a deal. We just wanted the car we wanted! Marcos expedited the process and kept the communication as the Palisades was sitting out in the bay of Long Beach somewhere waiting to pass the port authority!Just 2 weeks ago we purchased a Tucson and quickly becoming a Hyundai family. We went to Tuttle click in Irvine and they tried to hard sale us but we were highly considering the Tucson and we decided to give Patterson and Marcos to earn our business yet again. Needless to say we got hooked up with specials for being returning clients and the February special (I won’t say how much) but it was worth our while. And I really appreciated Marcos going to bat with us for a sales price within our budget.Anyhow this is of course a nice love story of Tustin Hyundai, but check it out for yourself. And if anything else go on Saturdays and get hooked up with a Chik-Fil-A Sandwich. My wife and I purchased an exceptionally well-kept, used 4Runner. The day I found it on the internet and called, Marcos Rodriguez from sales took my call and reported that the car was being readied for sale. Marcos was professional and politely said the car was being prepped for sale and that he would call me back as soon as it was ready. He kept his word and promptly sent me photos of the car a few days later on the morning it was ready for sale. We ended up driving about an hour to the dealership and purchased the car that same day after the used car manager, Gary Bagby, was willing to discount the price to help us meet our budget. The car had been detailed inside and out and the engine bay looked very clean. The interior smelled great and still does! The whole buying process went very smoothly. We left very happy. About 3 weeks later, we discovered that all four tire pressure sensors needed to be replaced. I was afraid that we were going to have to make the 1-hour drive to the dealership and then have to argue why not just one sensor needed replacement but all four. I called ahead and spoke with Martin Aguilar, the service manager, and explained what Pep Boys and Costco Tire had told me about all sensors needing replacement. Working with Gary, the used car manager, Martin allowed me to get the sensors replaced close to home, saving me the drive to the dealership and reimbursed me for the cost of replacing the sensors. They kept their promise of honoring the 30 day used car warranty without any hassle and they made it very convenient for me to get the repair done close to my home instead of using up what would have taken at least half a day had I been required to take the car back to the dealership. Thank you Tustin Hyundai and especially to managers Martin and Gary for your great service from day 1 to day 30!

1- Dont buy a car from this Hyundai dealership because their after-sales service and repairs are neither skilled nor responsible!2- If you have to buy from Hyundai, dont buy a hybrid car because they have terrible problems and the uneducated specialists of this dealership are not able to solve the problem.3- It is better to buy a trashcan than to buy a Hyundai Elantra Hybrid or a Tucson Hybrid!4- My wife and I bought two new 2023 hybrid cars from this dealership.Apple CarPlay and Android CarPlay keep disconnecting, no matter what brand of phone we use to connect to it, we gave up using CarPlay any more because of this problem from using CarPlay. We went to the dealership several times, and they could not fix the problem!My cars electric motor broke before 17,000 miles. I had to keep my car in the service department for two weeks to fix it.My cars USB port and everything I connected to it broke after a while and stopped working!The car horn broke after seven months of using the car!!! How many time do you have to use a horn in seven months to broke horn, especially if you drive around Irvine?!!When Im at a low speed and I brake, sometimes a strange noise comes from the engine. I believe this noise come from regen motor.When I dont move and turn the steering wheel to the left, I hear a strange noise from the floor of the car under my feet and feel something hitting the floor of the car. And many other problems, but the service department does not want to do anything for any of these problems!When my cars electric motor stopped working, the gas pedal and brake suddenly stopped working, I was lucky I wasnt in the middle of the highway! But this time when I see exactly the same symptoms as before the electric motor failed, they dont want to do further investigation. If the electric motorcycle fails again and I cant brake, whatever happens, it will be the responsibility of the service department of this dealer, who didnt care about my words at all.I asked to talk about all these issues to the manager or supervisor but they didnt let me talk and forced me to sign check-out papers!Dont waste your money and buy a hybrid car from Hyundai.

This review is regarding their service department. Overall their service website for making appointments is similar to the other dealers. Main issue is lower service quality such as not picking you up after oil change is done (this is $15 Uber cost to me; other dealer picked me up), saying oil change will be done in 2 hours but it actually took 45 mins (could have just waited at their room): agent cannot tell you if oil change includes brake inspection or not (other dealer includes inspection); and if there was a brake inspection it was likely incorrect as I cannot have 6mm of front brake pads since earlier inspection said I had 3mm left. Overall I would not trust this dealer to take care of your vehicle as others can. Lastly I can distinctly feel Hyundai is right and you are wrong feeling after my first and last visit to this place.
