Recently, the house buying process has become brutal for first time homeowners. However, Steve Gonzalez made it extremely easy and was always available to walk us through the process, showing us homes, finding out additional details on homes we were interested in, and even writing (many) offers within a few hours of viewing homes. As first time home buyers we were nervous and incredibly picky! We met Shane at an open house and instantly knew he was honest, helpful, professional and most importantly, proactive. Needed to sell our house so we could move out of state to chase a lifestyle change. Covid hit and we were so worried we would have trouble selling. We had used Gail in the past to buy our home, and so when it was time to sell, we knew she was the one we wanted to handle the sale! We cannot say enough good things about Karen Dancer and Gail DeMarco (they teamed up to sell our house)...we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and everyone. From start to finish they were highly responsive and communicative (would respond quickly no matter what time of day I reached out), honest, extremely knowledgeable, and kept things moving quickly and smoothly. We moved out of state before listing the house, and since we didnt have an active yard service, we werent sure what to do about the yard. Karen offered to come mow it herself if we couldnt find someone to do it....where else do you find an agent who personally cares that much?! So impressed with them every single step of the way. We had multiple offers well over asking price within a few days of listing, and from listing to closing, I believe it ended up being less than 3 weeks total. We had some stressful issues from our HOA come up (nothing to do with Karen or Gail), and they helped us solve all of it and had our backs, every step of the way. I worked with Steve Gonzalez on the purchase of my first home. Steve made my transaction a breeze. We were able to negotiate a really great deal for myself and the sellers which was accepted right away. There were literally no hitches in the transaction except for a couple of repairs that Steve negotiated to be done at no cost to me. My wife and I met Steve at an open house when I didn’t yet have a realtor lined up for this eventual purchase. Although I wasn’t interested in the home seen at the open house I liked that Steve didn’t pressure me in any way but offered to show me more homes if and when I was ready to view more homes. Again it was zero pressure and Steve seemed like a great guy so when my wife and I found a home later that same day that we would like to see we gave Steve a call and since my wife and are we’re from out of town he went out of his way to rearrange his schedule to accommodate us. This was in the middle of the COVID pandemic and the pandemic housing boom was in full force so while we made an offer on the home we didn’t end up getting it due to a bidding war that we weren’t interested in participating in. Steve was very patient with us and ended up showing us several other homes over the next few weeks until we found another home we really wanted. Unfortunately when he checked with the seller’s realtor they already had multiple offers and weren’t planning to entertain any more but Steve didn’t let that stop him from trying. He made several calls to friends and colleagues until he found someone that knew the seller’s realtor and was able to get us a last minute viewing. We made an offer slightly above the others that was still within our budget and ended up getting the house. Steve’s work didn’t stop there, he worked diligently to get all the necessary inspections and after finding some issues on the inspections he was able to get the seller to pay for the repairs even in the red hot pandemic housing boom.
