I want to give my highest recommendation to Shahriar Moalejtabrizi and the Tuff Shed company. We are extremely happy with the shed that we received. Shahriar was extremely helpful with our design options making it easy for us to arrive at our final design. He was never pushy as some sales people can be. The crew that came to install it also get high marks. And, the final product is a really great shed. Its really nice to do business with people that you feel you can trust and that live up to those expectations.

Ive been wanting a 10x12 shed for years now and I finally decided to bite the bullet and do it. I searched the basic locations, like Lowes, Home Depot and other spots, but then I drove by this TuffShed spot on Canoga Avenue in Canoga Park and I knew this is where I wanted to get my shed. TuffShed has a strong name brand, I knew that, but I was pleasantly surprised to be working with a qualified and knowledgable individual like Sha. I have to say that he gave me comfort in my purchase due to his professionalism, knowledge of the product he was selling and providing added input on things I can do to make the shed exactly the way I wanted it to be. Sha was constantly answering my questions and providing guidance on what to expect, easing my mind every time. Directing me on what I needed to do for the arrival and installation of my shed. Sha made the purchase easy and gave me the timelines I needed to make changes before the production of the shed. The shed, which I wanted to have done in a way that if I ever wanted to make it into a separate room for my family, I could. The final product for me, was more amazing than I expected. Five stars to Shahriar and his level of service at the Canoga Park Tuff Shed location! He was great to work with from the start, answered all our questions, was extremely knowledgeable, and courteous.There isnt a ton of information or reviews out there on sheds in general but after doing some research, we were leaning heavily towards the Tuff Shed brand. My husband called the Canoga Park location and was very impressed with Shahriars knowledge and information he provided over the phone so we decided to go see for ourselves. When we arrived, Shahriar was very friendly and helped answer all of our questions. This entire process was completely new to us so we had no idea what to expect. He walked us around the lot to show us the different options, models, colors, etc. We then went back to his office and were able to narrow it down to what we wanted and ultimately fit our needs. Although the measurements and some of the specifics were similar to what we initially mocked up on the website, having gone there in-person, talking to Shahriar, and looking through the different options, we were then able to make a decision and decided on a completely different model.Overall, weve been extremely pleased with the level of service we received from Shahriar and I would highly recommend this location and his services if youre looking for a shed or just interested in learning more.

Just had a 6 x 14 Premier Pro Ranch built on the property working with Jonathan Melendez throughout. Jonathan was quick to communicate, set up time to discuss the design/order, walked me through the whole process and had me out the door in less than 15min. Ive been looking for/planning to build a shed for quite some time so that I can move my workspace away from the living room. After costing out a self-build, we decided to go to Tuff Shed in Canoga Park to check out the cost for manufactured units. We got to talk to Jonathan Melendez who assisted us in designing what we had in mind and pricing it out. Since there was not much difference, we decided to go with Tuff Shed and I couldnt be happier. The time from finalizing the design to the actual installation was seamless. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a shed.

We had been considering adding a shed to our yard for a while and designed some options on Tuff Sheds website, but Im so glad we went in person to the Canoga Park store to look at them in person. We worked with Shahriar to create our custom shed and modeled it after one they had on the property that we loved in terms of sizing, color and the metal roof. We went home and made a few design tweaks that we were able to do online and Shahriar stayed in touch with us through the completion of our process. We placed our order and thought it would be a few weeks because the metal roofs usually take a little longer, but to our surprise it was ready for delivery and installation the next week. The crew that came to install was very professional and efficient. Everything was done in one day and now we have a great looking shed!

This was not a hard sell and after waiting for various Tuff Shed offers we made the procurement. Jonathan is to be commended! We placed several calls with questions and made three visits prior to purchase.Our installation was Fabulous. Justin & Ernesto were the BEST!! They arrived earlier. They are a great team. They were extremely neat, organized and efficient.Many Thanks to the entire team.PS VERY IMPORTANT...Make certain YOU know your citys permit information regarding placement near your property line (If you want electrical). Tuff Shed does not do this.

Jonathan was very helpful in customizing our shed. The people at the manufacturing plant need a lesson in reading directions and plans. They put the 2 extra vents on the wrong side. The installing contractors however added 2 vents on the correct side of the shed. We are very happy with the shed.

Overall the experience and outcome was great. My sales rep was responsive and prompt and the team that arrived for the build and installation was so cheerful and nice. They had a few minor hurdles with a damaged panel which they replaced quickly and their compressor which died mid-build/install. I did notice a few minor blemishes/minor fixes that are likely a result of them rushing to leave. But overall I am pleased. Jonathan Melendez was my POC and really the reason why I went with TUFF. Thank you.

We recently purchased a Tuff Shed and Shahriar our sales rep and the team at the canoga park location made the process very easy for us. Shah answered all my questions, multiple times. We didn’t have to pick an install date right away, which was good because we still had to do some yard prep before we were ready for the shed, and once we were ready, we were able to get on the schedule within a week. He was extremely responsive, met me at a showroom same day, and was got back to me within less than an hour by phone and text to answer all my questions leading up to the installation and even after.The installation was extremely professionally done. TuffShed brought a solid bargain to our back yard! All-inclusive pricing and online custom design made it easy to choose this over the short and flimsy junk you find online. We got everything we wanted at a surprisingly killer price. Plus, 10yr warranty and professionals that come in and click it all together in a day or two max because they do this thing evvvery day. As opposed to dealing with missing parts or handyman guys who kinda sorta know their way around these things, but wholl ultimately eff it up (like me!). And our sales rep Jonathan Melendez was patient with the process, knowing we were considering options. He made everything super easy and ultimately, it was one of those rare home improvement projects where it all... just... worked! We call it the Tree House, and the dog already chose her spot.

We purchased our Tuff Shed from the Canoga Park facility. Our first experience was with Jonathan Melendez was great! Jonathan was very professional and helpful with our decisions when purchasing our shed.However this is where the good customer service ended! 2 older men Showed up 1 1/2 hrs early. They were supposed come between 9-11am but showed up at 7:30 am.It was very difficult to communicate with them or at least they made it seem so. They acted as if they did not care what we had to say, they just wanted to get this installation over with so they could move onto the next installation.My husband and I have been having a few projects done around our home and we have a project manager helping the make things run smoothly. Our project manager had to rush over extra early when he planned on showing up at 9:00am. Only for the fact that the men were so rude to us that our manager had to tell to loose the attitude!! I wish I did not have write and explain about there poor behavior, but we hope this will help improve your customer service with the installation portion of your company.Thank you for your time…

The whole Tuff Shed experience was good from start to finish. Jonathan Melendez was very helpful at the Canoga Park location in helping us pick out a shed that would work for us. After ordering our shed, we waited a couple of weeks and then a subcontractor came out and assembled our shed. There were a couple of things that were incomplete (concrete bolting and two missing vents), but a quick call to Jonathan, and someone from Tuff Shed came out three days later and fixed both issues. Overall, we are very satisfied with Tuff Shed and Jonathan went above and beyond to make us happy.

We were asked by the folks at Tuff Shed if we would write a review of the shed we just purchased from them. It was delivered last week.We first met Jonathan Melendez who briefly detailed how their successful business works. He was accurate in his explanation, friendly, open to answering any questions we had, approachable, knowledgeable, and respectful, along with a pleasant sense of humor.We liked what he had to say, so we decided to move forward. We gave him a $1,000 credit card deposit, telling him we’d get back to him within the week.We needed more input, so we invited Jonathan to stop by so he could measure the part of our backyard where it would be placed. We used his ideas about which side the doors would go, and how much space we should leave between the shed and the neighbor’s fence. After all, we had never done this before.We arranged a time to meet in the Tuff Shed office, so we could finalize the purchase. That was about five days later. We selected a matching color so the shed would be exactly the same color and trim as our almost brand new manufactured home. We gave Jonathan a credit card to complete payment of the balance. They could now start building the shed to our specs.Jonathan told us he’d contact us soon as it was ready, before the week was up. He did just that. He asked when they could deliver it and set it up. He phoned us the day before delivery to explain that basic process: delivery, tomorrow, between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.The next day, delivery day, two team members phoned at 8:45 a.m. to reconfirm the address and our unit number, saying they’d arrive at 9:15–which they did. At that time, a pickup truck towing a not-yet-assembled shed drove up. The two fellows introduced themselves, with a smile and a handshake. The driver proudly noted he’d been with Tuff Shed for five years.We had ice cold Coca Cola and bottles of cold water, along with fresh doughnuts and cookies ready for them. We invited them inside so we could show them which restroom to use.They unloaded their materials and tools. We confirmed on which side the double doors should be—which they already had known.They went to work, finishing at 3:00 p.m.They asked if we’d come outside and review their work and walk through the 9’ x 10’ shed, which matched precisely the color and trim of our house. It was right on.On this 95° day, we had them take some additional ice cold drinks and the remaining cookies and doughnuts. Just before they left, we gave them each a quite optional $20.00 bill for which they couldn’t thank us enough.That part was solely our decision, with no obligation at all.We were pleased we’d decided to buy our new shed from Tuff Shed. We made a smart decision. Jonathan Melendez was our sales adviser. We ordered the 10x12 Premier Pro Tall Barn with SilverTech interior lining. On installation day when the shed was approximately 50% complete, we noticed the SilverTech lining was NOT included. After expressing our disappointment and dissatisfaction, I am pleased to report Tuff Shed promptly removed the partially completed shed, and replaced it the following week with the SilverTech lining like we had ordered. Although there were issues, Tuff Shed accepted responsibility for the error and remedied the problem. We paid a premium for our Barn and expected premium quality and exceptional customer service in return. Overall both expectations were satisfied. Additionally, I was very impressed with our installation team. They were professional, neat, and careful to avoid damaging the Trex deck we built around the platform. The installation team worked all day and stayed late in the evening to complete the job. Thank you Justin and Danilo.Minus 1 star for haggling for the desired solution and the inconvenience of 2 install days and a removal day.

This is my second Tuff Shed purchase. I had them do a 14 x 24 workshop 9 years ago and it stands tall still. I needed more storage space so I designed and had them install a 10 foot by 4 foot lean to shed. It looks amazing, is Tuff Shed well built and I love it! They matched the color of the house and it is watertight. Jonathan was responsive and kept his commitment on the installation date and time. The crew was amazing!

A Dream Come True! In February, my husband mentioned wanting to purchase me a she shed. We searched the internet to view a variety of sheds, each one offer custom designs and were pricey.Who would have thought, my visit with Jonathan Melendez at the Tuff Shed located in Canoga Park would lead to installing a beautiful She Shed in my backyard. Jonathan, an informative and a very talented salesperson with much patience answered ALL of my questions with much respect and understanding.After numerous visits to the Canoga Parks Tuff Shed location and multiple changes to the original design. We finally placed our order for a personalized she shed measuring 10x12 feet. A week prior to delivery, we were informed that the double doors were unavailable resulting in a delayed in delivery. James Brown, not the singer, but a member of Tuff Shed customer service staff contacted me to let me know that the doors for my shed were delayed due to back orders. The Tuff Shed customer service staff sent a driver to San Diego and retrieved my beautiful double glass doors. Keep in mind, the location in San Diego was more than 300 miles round trip. James Brown, is a super star and I would like thank him for ensuring that my delivery would not be on-time and without delay.On May 28, before 10:00 a.m. the team of installers Saul Gonzalez and Jose Benitez arrived with everything needed for a timely install. Both Saul and Jose were professional and practice exceptional customer service throughout the day by answering every questions. Around 3pm, the installation teams supervisor Gabriel Moreno Lopez arrived at my home to inspected the project. Gabriel provided assistance and support until the job was completely done. What an exceptional group of installers. The group of installers had amazing pride in their work and practiced outstanding team work. Tuff shed doesnt have their own installers, they use independent contractors. Mine was not professional enough. I asked him to shorten the corner trims to match the back and he replied really?. I asked him to at least cut them to a matching length, really?Tuff shed teaches the independent installers and the tuff shed warranty employees to install the door hinges offset. My door closed itself due to binding hinges until the warranty installer centered the hinge at my request. That was the 2nd warranty person after the 1st time out, another warranty person kept installing the hinges offset and didnt fix the problem.The 1st installer(independent) installed the ridge vent the lazy way instead of according to GAF. He used a nail gun wherever he wanted. Its supposed to be hand nailed into the nail slots with the provided GAF nails. He also used oversized ridge cap shingles and covered the venting gap. Why even have ridge vents if you cover the vent? He also barely overlapped the cap shingles at the split between 2 ridge vents. That would be a roof leak in the rain. He also forgot to seal the door cap. The door cap meant to prevent rain from onto the top edge of the door. Again pointless to have the cap if its not sealed. He also didnt remove the leaves and twigs under the wall panels paint and didnt touch up overlapping paint. I did the touch up, I cut the corner tims.The first warranty crew of 2 guys, didnt have a ladder, it was buried under their supplies, used mine. They showed up at 4 instead of 2 and didnt have time to finish. I had to put everything back into the shed, total waste of my time and their time. They didnt know what was supposed to be done. When I began telling them the list, each time I spoke guy #2 would speak in Spanish to guy #1. So much so that after 5 or 6 times, I told him not to speak when I spoke.Other minor issues, the window was in the wrong location, the added a 2md where it was originally supposed to be. The door paint may have gotten wet, it was yellowed, I repainted it. They dont secure the wood shims to the steel base and the shim job wasnt great. Earthquake s might be a reason to do so. I secured the base to shims while they took a break. Took me all of 5 to 10 minutes with Tek screws, pathetic.Warranty installer #2 (Rico)was great and fixed it all.

The installers were quick, courteous, and professional. The only thing I wished they did was ensure proper sealing at the bottom wall/floor connections. I could see light coming through at some locations. I had to seal these areas with caulk to avoid infestation of spiders, ants, etc. I would still recommend Tuff Shed to friends and family.

Jonathan at your Canoga Park location was a pleasure to work with and recommended items to add and remove to stay within our budget. Paperwork was easy since it’s all electronic online. Installers arrived on time on the day of schedule were friendly and overall did a very nice job assembling the shed. That said, when finished I wish they would have swept the inside and around the perimeter of the shed to remove small nails and wood dust. Drips of paint were found over sections of paver stones and grass area where they painted the shed prior to installation. The 4” eave upgrade in the lean too which I purchased, does not extend around the entire roof perimeter. The high wall side is flush with the roof. I’ve sent a message to Tuff shed about this and I’m awaiting an answer. Overall the shed is heavy duty and look great and I highly recommend it.
