Horrible service experience. The staff told us we cannot take their carts out of the store but we had two carts full of items and no reusable bags on us.Our car was park on the parking lot. We tried to picked a box out of store to carried our paid items in order to transfer to our vehicle. The security guard kept yelling on us which puted a lot of us. Actually he heckled us when we were in line even there were no customers in line. It is unbelievable that the staff in store proceeded to yell, nitpick, and pressure us without offering any solutions. Do not shop here any more.

Amazing place to buy dried chinese herbs and imported snacks and foods. I started coming here as a kid with my mom, and now they’ve expanded to a fresh veggie section. You can do a Chinese medicine consultation (TCM) or acupuncture in the herb section in the back of the store.They also have lots of grains that are used by western people, such as quinoa, oats, barely, millet, sesame, packaged unsalted nuts, etc. Great prices compared to the big fancy markets.

I ordered some bird nests and herbs online . The shipment came very quick, and was very well-packaged; They wrapped a few layers and placed it in 2 boxes. The quality is very good and fair for the amount of $ that I paid. Ill definitely repurchase again.

This location is smaller than all the other TS Emporium and carries less items. I love to go shopping there (not saying about this location but just in general) for their vegetables, its cheaper and fresher than supermarkets.

An herbal store and grocery for dried Asian goods ..also a whole aisle devoted to ancestral worship items. Also, an aisle devoted to tea. And an aisle for kitchen and lovely teacups with covers...I come when Im looking to buy red envelopes and Asian themed gifts in bulk.

I have purchased rice cooker here! I have bought herbs and teas, great quality. The market friendly and if you want some education, try the Chinese herbal consultation. The doctor will prescribe a herbal mix for common maladies, for reasonable price.

General Chinese dry goods grocery store located in Monterey Park.It is down the street from my aunts house.I go there regularly to pick up Best Peanuts On Earth for my friends and relatives when Im in LA.Also check out their can abalone section for the best prices in Southern California.Canned abalone is used in stir fry recipes, soups and congee.My San Francisco friends fill up everytime they come down to LA.Its the best kept secret ever.

This is a mix of market and Chinese herbal medicine and remedies. They actually have a doctor inside the store with many patients waiting to be seen. Parking could be a problem during busy hours although people move in and out very fast so you dont have to wait too long.Isles are very narrow. People with mobility issues may find it challenging to navigate inside the store. If you cant find what youre looking for please ask. The store is packed with all sorts of things.

Neat store with lots of eclectic Asian items you cant find anywhere else. The store layout is a bit chaotic though. Ill come here to find those things which I cant get elsewhere (dishes, spices, pre-packaged foods) but for regular Asian market shopping, Ill stick to 99 Ranch.

I don’t know where I found a young female cashier. I came first and let the people behind me pay first, so that’s okay. What pissed me off the most was that among the items I bought on the same day, I bought the wrong package and needed a refund. I took the invoice and the product, but they refused to let me return it. As soon as I entered the store, I explained my needs to the salesperson. Finally, I had to ask their supervisor to come out before the refund was successful. This salespersons service was terrible.
