I am so glad I got this reminder with a link because I could not figure out how to post a review. I am extremely pleased with my experience with Trustlane. I don’t drive a lot, but for good measure I take my car to the dealer for a service once a year. Last year, even though, the car had no issues, I was overcharged. A couple of days after that service warning lights started flashing. I went back to Toyota and they told me they would have to charge me a diagnostic fee (about $300). I was sure they had disconnected something and refused to pay that fee. On the advice of someone, I took my bill to Trustlane to have them give me an evaluation of what was done. As it turned out, most of the things for which I was charged were complimentary.When it came time to take my car in for a service, I took it to Trustlane. It was a totally different experience than at Toyota. Of course, they did not remember me, but I was able to make an appointment for the next day. When I got there, the reception was very warm. There was no wait time. Someone attended me immediately, asked if I had any concerns and listened. Based on what they needed to do, they told me it would be about 1h1/2 and I decided to wait. At one point, they noticed that my tires were wearing unevenly. They consulted me and recommended an alignment. I agreed to it. My total bill was a fraction of what I paid last year. Best thing, after a year of warning lights, nothing lights up on my dashboard. I will definitely go back and will recommend Trustlane to all my friends!

Fast efficient service with superior customer service. I needed a smog test on a new to me vehicle. They accepted me as a walk in. And from the moment I arrived, I knew they were top notch! I was welcomed with a friendly smile, patient demeanor and offered coffee, cold water, and even snacks! The waiting area was clean, comfortable and inviting. The chairs were so comfy that I wished they would taken longer! 10/10 across the board. Will go back and have them do future work and inspection without a doubt!

I brought my truck into Trustlane to have my brakes checked and to do a few other regular maintenance. The crew at Trustlane was very helpful, Brenda was the rep that attended me and she was very knowledgeable in the subject of vehicle mechanics. I’ll be sure to come back to Trustlane and I’ll recommend it to my friends and family.

I received a flyer in the mail for a discounted oil change around the time I needed one, so I scheduled an online appointment. Which was quick and easy.At the time of the oil change, the techs let me know I needed new brake pads and I had damage near my wheel that was causing a leak. I was hesitant to have them both done there until I looked around for pricing. Without having to ask, the techs took me into the shop and showed me exactly what they were talking about, which made me feel more comfortable and like I wasnt being scammed lol I could visibly see the damage, along with the leak (I noticed a leak a few weeks before bringing my car in) and they explained why I should have it fixed, but didnt pressure me to have it done with them if I thought I should shop around.Julio at the front desk was very patient while I figured out while if I was going to have the work done through them or go somewhere else. He was wonderful throughout the whole experience and deserves extra praise for that.In the end, I ended up having the services done through them and I dont regret it. It was affordable and quick - they also offered financing options if needed.The staff are all wonderful and welcoming - they care that you have a pleasant experience and that everything is done efficiently.Will be back for my next oil change :)

Update:Thank you to the owner Juan for helping correct the situation. I appreciate your help in this matter.First experience with this shop. We brought in my sons first car. Its older, needed a new motor for windshield wipers. I also wanted to get some other items looked at, so wanted some estimates. Well the front desk was amazing, I really liked their customer service. Waiting area was clean, and there were snacks and water provided. We waited to hear what needed to be done, were told to come look at the car with the mechanic. He pointed out there was some leakage around the valves, suggested fixing. They said to leave the car until the next day to get the part for the wipers. I told them go ahead and fix the valves and put in new spark plugs. I thought (my error) the estimate for these items was $1k. We were given a loaner car (nice!) for the night. Called the next morning and got an estimate on items they suggested fixing after doing an inspection. For everything they suggested fixing now it was over $7k!! Um no, the car wasnt worth half that! So i told her just take care of the two things we already agreed to. When we came to pick up the car, the bill was $1,800, not $1,000 like I thought (again my mistake) but it was still a shock. The lady at the counter lowered it a bit an gave us new windshield wiper blades.The same evening we were doing some practice driving in a parking lot, and it appears the transmission shifting cable went out. We had to have the car towed home because we could not get it back into park and the car wont start if not in park. Im not blaming Trustlane, but I paid for an inspection, and this was not on their long list of items needing repair. 😑Last weekend my son put wiper fluid in to the reservoir and pushed the button, only to have all the fluid pour on the ground! When we looked for the issue we found half of the hose for the wiper fluid is missing/rotted away. Um, again Im not blaming Trustlane, but I paid for a new motor and the labor to install it, and they didnt fix the hose for the fluid? Or tell me it needed fixing? I would have paid for that!So, yes they have great customer service. Thats worthy of two stars. But they (in my opinion) way overcharge, estimates are really high, and they missed some major items. Id keep shopping around for repairs, and just go there for oil changes.

This was my first experience going outside my usual mechanic. I call expecting to schedule an appointment a week and I was surprised they took me in that same day. While I there, I was greeted by friendly staff members. They offered coffee and snacks. The waiting area was very clean. I had a break fluid flush the lady was very knowledgeable about the procedure and also advise me of their process of what mechanic does.I recommend this place not only for their knowledge but friendly environment.

Very quick turnaround! I needed the alternator replaced on my 17 year old beefy Sequoia and they got it done in one (1) day. Everyone was incredibly kind and professional. They have a great system where they can text you the quote, which is very convenient. Shop is also very cute (love the mural on the wall!) and clean. They even have snacks and water. Definitely one of the best mechanic experiences Ive had :)

I heard about Trustlane through my brother who had axel repairs done for my mom’s Honda accord. Brenda, Juan, and Cindy have all been amazing, communication has exceeded my expectations. I had brought my car in for numerous repairs, what I love about them is I get a full detail report on my car including pictures to support findings. They do not do any work on your car unless you approve it so there are no surprise when you go to it pick up. In the event that repairs costs are far beyond what your pockets can afford, they do offer financing and the process is painless and quick. They’ve always respected my budget and never felt like they were bleeding me for money. They respect my vision on rebuilding my car and have certainly gained my trust.

We have been using Trustlane Automotive for several years, since being let down by other mechanics in Salinas. Today, I brought my vehicle in for an inspection prior to making a long road trip later this month - just to make sure everything was in good order. I fully expected to pay the diagnostic fee of $175, however when I came in to pick up my vehicle, I was told there would be no charge for the inspection.

Great service ! The team members and the mechanic were professional and discussed the issues the car was having in an informative educational manner . Best service we have received from any car repair shop .
