Dave and True Care were very receptive to a walk in brake issue on our 2021 Volvo X60. After discussion, parts were ordered and brake job was completed within 24 hours. Great service at reasonable labor rates. I would highly recommend to friends and neighbors in the area.

Scam shop. Mechanics tried to tell me my transmission was completely dry despite me driving over an hour to get to the shop from where I was. This wouldve been impossible had my transmission been dry. They also claimed my car had frame damage from a collision despite having never been in any type of crash or even fender bender in its lifetime. They claimed my A/C system was also severely damaged from the collision This is a scam filled business and they WILL try to upsell you on products and services you have no need for! Never coming back here and I will make sure to let everyone I know about my experience.UPDATE: After the owners reply, I want to clarify that the A/C system has been recharged with no issue and is still blowing ice cold a week later, the damage to the condenser is cosmetic at the worst, and there was NO ATF anywhere under the bumper or anywhere on the car. There WAS oil, which was clearly seeping from the oil filter visually, as well as the dash itself saying an oil change was needed. Somehow this was the only thing the mechanics DIDNT mention anything about! I am upset because everything your shop claimed was beyond repair, was repaired the next day, and the one thing that actually needed to be done other than the A/C recharge was never mentioned. Your mechanics also stated that the transmission was completely dry. 1.5 quarts low out of 5.3qts capacity is nowhere near dry. Either your mechanics were trying to upsell unneeded work, or they are completely incompetent. Either way I hold the same opinion on your shop.

True honest mechanic. If looking for 1 or not happy with 1 you use, this place is perfect. They go over everything with you. Call ahead before before a task. Quote you worst case scenario price. Plus if cant fix it, or doesnt fix problem,they give you a discount or dont charge you. But again just incredibly honest and perform work they say and in timely manner and for great price. Just all around great customer service and honest dependable mechanic.***Update: Had to take my car in again, because trust TruCare, once again didnt let me down, went over all problems, told me what I in a sense already knew, but instead if saying or pressuring me to do it, discussed options, and addressed my concerns. Again truly honest best mechanic Ive come across in long time, even with my family have um take cars their. Will be taking any of my cars here.

For the past two mechanical assistance from True Care Automotive, have been very positive and in both instances minor repairs were made and I was advised to watch if matters got worse. Both fixes are still functioning and the cost for repairs was very minimal. I recommend very highly True care automotive for all of your vehicle repair needs.

The check engine light came on & we took it to True Care to have it diagnosed.What I love about this business is that you can have confidence in their diagnosis. Both times we have been to this shop, they could have told us anything & we would have done it. We are all vulnerable when something goes wrong with our cars.They took in the car right away, diagnosed it, ordered a part, and delivered the car a day early. The price was very reasonable. One less thing to worry about in this crazy world. Highly recommend!

Wow! Best auto shop Ive ever been to. I typically dont trust mechanics, but this place knows what they are doing. They are honest, fair and can figure out and solve the problem quickly. I tried to tackle a maintenance issue with my truck, but ran into some issues and could not complete the job. I took my truck to TrueCare Automotive and they were able to quickly diagnose the issue and were HONEST! I would definitely recommend using them. We plan on taking all of our cars to them from now on. Thank you!

I rarely if at all, trust a shop to work on my vehicles due to past experiences so I would only let my husband or son touch them. Family is no longer available so when I required some work to be done, I was left calling many places for quotes and feeling something was off with each place I talked with. Not so with TrueCare. I knew I could trust this shop when Dave asked that I bring my vehicle in for a quick look prior to committing to doing the work or quoting a final price. He wanted to make sure he could perform the job without any surprises like so many other shops do. Dave then went the extra mile to further investigate current and after market options and the implication of both then called to talk about each one (he also was honest enough to say he would not be able to perform one of the options due to lack of equipment). He then asked me to think through both options then choose the one I wanted to go with (knowing I may take my car elsewhere). I had TrueCare do the work and could not be more pleased.I believe I have found a shop for the first time in my very long life that I trust and will use time and again for all my required vehicle work!

After having absolutely terrible experiences at other auto repair places in the area, and getting ripped-off, we brought our car to true care, and Dave. I wont take our cars anywhere but there from now on. Dave was down to earth, practical, and possesss a rare trait in auto mechanics around here, integrity and honesty. He is straight, and to the point, but you can tell that he understands things from a customers perspective. I am so relieved weve found someone we can completely trust. Not my first review of TruCare, just an additional restatement of what a reliable high quality and reasonably priced repair facility David Long runs. We started getting alerts that the washer fluid reservoir was empty. It seemed strange that this could happen so soon, but I purchased a gallon of washer fluid and refilled it. A couple days later, and the condition recurred. A check of our garage floor showed a sizable blue spot where fluid was leaking. Mercedes makes every repair difficult for the end user, so I once again turned to our trusted TruCare Automotive service to take care of this. After requesting an appointment online, I soon received a scheduled date and time. VM was confirmed with email and text.Mr Long kept us in the loop, letting us know the progress of parts order, estimated repair costs, and completion time. As always, the costs were very reasonable, and the repair completed promptly. I continue to give TruCare Automotive my highest recommendation. David Long operates a quality business that will serve all your automotive needs. Just give him a call.

Oh, it was an absolute surprise which is what I think. We’re always looking for when we use a new business. I have been recently diagnosed with a disease and Dave and Aimee could not have been more kind and helpful through my experience. The biggest surprise was how quickly and efficiently they worked on my BMW And as a BMW owner you’re always nervous going to a new place because they’re not the easiest cars to work on not only did they do a perfect job. The price was very good and the way they communicated with my car needed what they fixed with the technology of text messaging emailing it was an absolute breath of fresh air. I will definitely be back telling my family to use them. Problem needing addressing was an air conditioner that wan’t working in a 2002 Chevy Suburban. Dave diagnosed the broken compressor belt immediately, and fixed the problem expeditiously. He was genuine in assessing the things that needed to fixed on my Jeep Cherokee and he also gave good advice on what may need immediate attention and which components have a lot more life left in them .... thus helping manage expenses. I found him to be very responsive and highly professional and crystal clear in his communication. I was mentally at peace when I found his shop and started using his services for my Jeep. Used Truecare for the first time, had some leaks that were causing overheating!!! I can do a lot of work myself but for some things I let mechanics deal with it. I had been using other mechanics in the area for work on my Acura vehicles but recently the last one was sold and the last quote from new owner was outrageous. Truecare did the work for literally half the amount and completed the work on time. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I’m pretty sure I found my next one!

Best experience Ive ever had at a mechanic. Dave is great -- he sent me a full report of my cars condition, including pictures! Very helpful.He recommended several repairs that were all very reasonably priced, and was responsive via call and text. At one point, after further inspection, he even mentioned that a repair he had previously recommended actually wasnt necessary! Ive never had a mechanic do that, usually they just bill you unnecessary work!Ive been to a lot of mechanics, and Ill never go to another one thats not Dave.

So far Ive gone in for a car inspection to see the condition of my car and etc. It took about an hour for waiting on my car. Everyone has been nice and they were able to provide a list of what I need to fix and the cost which I appreciate heavily considering some places like to charge you for things you may not have needed or up the price for services that may cost a little lower. I found this shop listed as a Lexus specialty shop online. The receptionist Amy was a great first point of contact and was familiar with the 2009 Lexus 460LS front control arm issues to work up a rough estimate. After talking with Amy --I felt the shop would be capable and a good priced shop to perform the inspection, control arm replacements, and 4-wheel alignment so I scheduled an appointment. I had my car towed to TrueCare Automotive for mechanical issues. They could not duplicate the problem once they had it and their diagnostics did not reveal anything causing the mechanical issue. The ran diagnostics as well as doing a visual inspection of the vehicle. Despite all this there was nothing found with regard to the vehicles need to be towed. TrueCare empathised with the fact that I had to tow the vehicle in and did not charge for any of the diagnostics.Fortunately, due the scope of their visual inspection a couple of other issues were discovered. What I really appreciated about their findings was they didnt just tell me about it. They provided photographic evidence in a written report via text and email with hyperlinks to the report so I could inspect the photographs for myself.They didnt just give me a bid for the work, but advised of it and left me with information to decide. I reviewed the report in its entirety and chose to have some of the work completed. Their prices were very fair and they kept in communication as the work was done.I got the car back and have driven if for a couple of days. I am very pleased with the work and have noticed an improvement in the vehicles operation. I would highly recommend TrueCare. I’m not one to typically do internet reviews but I had a great experience here. Our family car died on the freeway on the way up the mountain and I had to find a local mechanic to diagnose the issue. As good as it gets! If you’ve ever wished your vehicle was in the care of a master mechanic, take it to TrueCare Automotive in Cameron, Park. Dave Long or one of his employees has serviced my 2003 Honda CRV since purchased it. Dave is an exceptional automotive mechanic and a real gentleman. Because Dave had not personally evaluated the condition of my CRV for several years, as he transitioned his shop from Mountain View to his new location, I was happy to drive the 5 hours round trip from Palo Alto for a through checkup. Fortunately/unfortunately I was rewarded. Almost immediately Dave sensed a virtually inaudible valve-train noise, calling for a valve adjustment. On further inspection, he discovered a condition never before seen in his 20 years of servicing Honda motors. The hardfacing was completely worn from the exhaust-valve camshaft. A projected $300 service ended at $2076. I had the satisfaction of of knowing that a master mechanic had replaced my camshaft and lifters. Get established with Dave if you love your vehicle.

I had a pretty hefty job. Bought a used suburu outback which ended up having blown head gasket and blown pistons. Very major rebuild. Which wasn’t cheap. But it was fair priced in comparison with dealerships by far. Plus they specialize in suburus as well. Very knowledgeable about my car and how it was made. Was upfront with everything. Before engine was signed off on top of all that. He noticed oil seepage from the machine shop that rebuilt the motor. He told me about it and sent it back to the machine shop to fix before he would sign off on it. Very honest technician. Very glad I chose true care automotive to service my lemon. I will definitely go back for any other major repairs.

Unfortunately I have had to have my car towed to TrueCare Automotive again. Let me start by saying this most recent problem has nothing to do with the work completed at TrueCare Automotive. I have a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Ive had nothing but problems with it since the engine went out 2yrs after purchasing it. I cant say enough great things about the workmanship, professionalism and extra mile that Dave Long and his crew go to for their clients. I wish I had called on them long before I did. Drove by to ask what it would cost to replace my PVC hoses if I brought them parts, was at the end of their day Friday saying I would be happy to come back Monday but he was willing to take care of it right on the spot so I went over to OReilly really quick (felt like it took OReilly longer to find the right hose type) got the hoses and back to TrueCare was done within 30 min overall very reasonable price.
