If you’re constipating on getting lip filers… DO IT, especially here at True You Medical Aesthetics. The place itself is VERY CLEAN, very beautiful inside, and have very nice oriented staff working there. I live 13 minutes away so it’s perfect. Everyone I spoke to here made me feel very comfortable and pretty! Any concerns you have they answer. When i texted Rosalie she INFORMED ME VERY WELL of what is recommended to not cause any overflow or migration in my case since I had small lips and M size shape. I got 1 syringe with NURSE KIM, the procedure itself didn’t hurt at all, it’s just a small poke. I do notice a difference in my lips from the side profile, to when I smile and size. I can’t wait to go back to Kim to get another 💉💉💉💉. I will update in 2 weeks to show my lips again.

True You Medical Aesthetic in San Jose Ca. is a great location if you want to get any cosmetic procedures done. I have been going for both my Botox and Lip fillers for a while now and I am always very pleased with the results. The staff is always very nice and welcoming and they always listen to your specific needs. Nurse Jessica did a great job today and she made me feel very comfortable as always. Will definitely come back as always.

I recently got lip fillers done here and I couldnt be happier with the results! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was so calming. The injector took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and explained the entire process to me, which really put me at ease.The procedure itself was quick and virtually painless(3/10). I was amazed at how natural the results looked right after the treatment. My lips are fuller and more defined, but still completely natural-looking. I am from SSF and came all the way out to San Jose to get my lips done by nurse Jessica and it was an amazing experience. I loved her energy through the process and I felt super comfortable the whole time during injections. The location was a very cute office and pretty quick check in! The interior was very eye pleasing and going into the room I felt very prepared to get my procedure done. The service was very good the girls are super cute to talk to and Jessica knew exactly what I wanted my lips to look like. The procedure was super easy they used a topical numbing treatment and the injections barely hurt maybe like a few tiny pinches but definitely easy to handle because youre also numb. My final results they are somewhat still healing but I love them! I feel like I could steal someones rich baby daddy with these lips. Thank you Jessica and the beautiful staff for helping me!! Got Botox done from them over a month ago and I was waiting for some time to check on the results before writing the review. The experience was smooth and the injector did a great job, specially because it was my first time. I was injected 40 units as a Male, age 34 years and the results have been good so far. No side effects experienced and my forehead muscles are definitely not showing frown lines. Other areas are frozen as well. Definitely recommended!!

I had my interaction with kim and doctor tran (i believe)! i saw a promo for $599 lip filler and they got me an appointment right away on the same morning of. i will be back to review fully once the swollen has gone done, but for the most part the procedure was smooth, the numbing helped a lot and the assistant practitioner did my lips with the advise of the doctor and she was super nice! heres a before and right after the procedure.UPDATEHere to update my review! Its been a week since the healing, and I absolutely love the work. I was super hesitant at first because I thought the amount of syringe used would make my lips look unnatural, or it would look botched. I can confidently say, since the swelling and bruising has healed, that I love the work done! Thank you to assistant Kim, she did an awesome job. Ive attached pictures of the healing progress.

The TrueYou location is perfect and convenient in a large plaza with plenty of parking spaces. The inside is clean spacious and comfortable, I absolutely love it here. This was my second time here for lip injections and everyone is just amazing! Great customer service, clean area and consistent service. Throughout the whole procedure from the consultation, the numbing process and the actual injections I felt at ease and comfortable with all the nurses. Jessica has done mine twice now and I love the outcome each time! Of course theyre swollen and sore at first but I know the shape and volume will be perfect after the healing process. Definitely recommend!

My first experience getting lip filler was so good I just had to come back. I came across True You via Instagram. I really liked the before and after photos I saw on their feed. Plus they were offering a special so I thought to myself this is my chance to finally get my lips done. As for the procedure let me first state that I do not have a good pain tolerance so it did hurt when the needle first went in but once I saw the results the pain was definitely worth it. I really loved how my lips came out I feel they are the right amount of plump without looking unnatural. Some people cant even tell I have filler which I love! I would definitely come back a third time once the filler goes down.

To whom this may concern or help,I visited Dr. Thang Tran back in 2021 and settled for his services because nurse Val was not available. I had originally went in for a consultation with nurse Val and she recommended only 1/2 of a syringe on my lips. She was very friendly and comforting; by assuring me I didnt need much filler. Dr. Thang peer pressured me to get my lips, under eyes, cheek bones and chin slightly filled using Juvéderm. There was never a set price for each syringe, instead he asked how much I had to spend or my limit (at that time it was $1,200). I ended up paying exactly $1,200 for two syringes of Juvéderm and only used 1 1/2 of those two syringes. Dr. Tran assured me that I could come back to visit him at ANYTIME to make use of the remaining 1/2 syringe, but that is not the case. Also, a friend went in with me that same day and got the same services done by nurse Val at a $600 cost. Not only was I over charged for my services, but I was lied to about what would happen with my remaining 1/2 syringe that I PAID for.When injected with Juvéderm everyones dissolving process is DIFFERENT, I didnt see a need for a touch up until now . I contacted the office and was told numerous different excuses as to why my syringe was not available anymore.First, they stated they never had a policy for returning customers to use remaining product.Second, they stated every syringe has an expiration date and thats when its thrown out.Third, they stated every syringe is thrown out after every visit.In all honesty, I wouldve NEVER paid for that remaining 1/2 syringe had I not been assured that itd be waiting for me whenever I was ready.Overall, I DO NOT recommend this clinic for filler. Please do your research and look for nurse Val, as she has taken her talent elsewhere.

Do not go here for Botox if you want great results. You will be disappointed!!! I asked the nurse to focus on my forehead area which was my main concern and paid for 40 units as part of the promo. The other places I’ve been to I usually do 34 units and my results last 4-6 months. 2 weeks after getting my Botox here and my forehead looks like I had no Botox at all!!!! It’s so frustrating. If I would’ve known, I would’ve paid more money somewhere else for great results. When I called back to let them know I was not happy with my results, the lady tried to say it’s because of my metabolism speeding up. The Botox didn’t even last 1 week! This was such a waste of money. And a waste of my Allē points. I will never go back to this place. I will need to go to my original location, Orangetwist or Excel Medicine. Where my results have always been amazing. That is what I get for trying to save money but now it will cost me more to fix. I wish I could give them no stars! I will for sure let all my friends know not to come here!

Let me start by saying I didnt recieve treatment here but I wanted to share my experience because I was so appalled. I am fairly young with no wrinkles but started botox a couple years ago to prevent aging in a targeted area. I called and explained I usually get 10 units and it lasts 7-8 months. The receptionist flat out said they never inject less than 20 units and thats the minimum. RED FLAG. She then went on to say 18 year olds get injected 20 units. Despite me explaining my past treatments she kept insisting I need to treat my entire face not just the area of concern. Mind you Ive gotten the same botox treatment for the last 3 years and its been effective. They will tell you under dosing increases your tolerance but anybody with common sense would know this is actually the opposite of the truth. When would a lower dose result in higher resistance to a drug? NEVER. If you want a sales pitch and to be sold lies youll get treatment here.

This is the place to come to if you want duck lips and worst client services. I decided to come here because of the positive reviews, however it wasnt until i realized during my phone consultation that they offer a discount for positive reviews on social media. I came here to get lip fillers in my upper lips two weeks ago from Nurse Thu. I told them that my goal was to get more height on my upper lips. After I got my lip filler, I was scared because my upper lips looked protruded from the side. The protrusion was not going down at all. I tried massaging it, put Arnica, and followed all instructions. I texted Rosalie and let her know and she scheduled me to come in. I went in today. When I told Dr. Tran and Thu my concern, dr.tran said that it wasnt their fault. He made an analogy that its like going to a hair salon & you might/might not like the hair color.... Huh? They took no responsibility and told me that I would need to pay to get it dissolved. They kept gaslighting me that it looked good. My lips look so funny. My friends who had lip fillers all said its botched.

Dr. Tran and Rosalie are terrific people along with their clinic in Vietnamese Town. I came here with wrist issues (De Quervain T) and they did a PRP treatment on it. My wrists felt much better, allowing me to return to daily life much better.For facials, I had some bad sun damage on my face. Rosalie gave me some Vitamin C oil and moisterizers, which helped repair the splotches on my face. I also introduced a friend here for micro-needling and she has much more rosy/ healthy complexion.When it comes to having a family feeling when going into an office and making a friend with the doctor while getting results, I can highly recommend True You!

You get what you pay for with this place. They pre measure out the filler and put it in smaller needles so you have no idea what or how much they’re actually injecting. I got their 1ml filler special and my lips looked less full than they usually do when I get that much. I personally would not come back here or recommend them, but they’re good if you want your lips done on a budget

So in love with how my lips came out I went in Saturday at 10:30 for lip filler, I was a little confused on the office location so I called and one of the lovely ladies in the front desk helped guide me on the phone to the door the inside was so cute, and clean! The lady at the front desk checked me in fast! I only waited about 5 minutes before i was called inside for a room. The medical assistant and nurse had amazing communication and went in depth with how i wanted my first session and what my outcome would look like. they made sure i was comfortable at all times. the pain level was very minor since my lips were numbed i love my results and lm extremely happy with the service and experience, will definitely come again!

Went today for another round of lip filler. Originally came in September 2022 for 1ml and then another 1ml today. My main focus was My top lip as it disappears when I smile. The first time I think made my lips look a little better but today after another 1ml I literally am so blown away. I feel like I have the lips I always wanted. They enhanced my Cupid bows which I love. They are so nice and always ask if it hurts throughout getting the injection. I finally decided to get my lips done after seeing Nurse Valerie’s amazing work! I booked my appointment about a month and a half in advance since I knew they were going to be busy around the holidays. From the moment I booked my appointment to the day of my appointment, Rosalie did such an awesome job providing information and answering all my questions/concerns!! Rosalie and Nurse Valerie are so kind, professional, and welcoming. I had my first lip filler ever at True You Medical clinic located in the center of Vietnam Town. I have been wanting to enhance my lips but never really looked into until I saw the Russian lips technique. This clinic is the only one near by that specializes in this technique and I was so excited. Luckily, Rosalie is patient and explained the entire process with me and instructed on how to maintain my lips and the healing process.The clinic is clean, well kept, and glamorous, with Beverley hills vibe. I was numbed with lidocaine cream for about 15 minutes and then Nurse Val came into my room and asked which kind of lip filler I wanted. I had little knowledge going in but she asked me what kind of look I’m going for and helped me decide on what brand best suited the look I was going for and I ended up getting Juvaderm plus. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and luckily the injections felt like a minor pinch. The second day definitely swelled more and my lips had minor bruises, but now by the third day, my lips look like the perfect size and shape to me, I finally have cute little upper lips. Tips to decrease bruising is pineapple juice and drinking lots of water! I’m looking forward to coming back for my follow up appointment.

I really wanted to like this place, but I am definitely not coming back.The staff is nice and the Dr also. After getting Botox I have a droopy eyelid (my pic is on Yelp) I was reading that this happens when they inject Botox into the wrong area or use a dose that’s too high, which leads to muscle weakness and droop. I don’t even want to go out in public like this… I’m so frustrated…I actually made the follow up appt also because I pay more than $1,600 (plus $399 for Botox) for fillers specifically to target my dark circles problem, and after 3 weeks I was not happy with my results, they told me that I needed to pay $900 extra to fix it. Are you kidding?on top of what I already pay? I appreciate they gave me extra Botox on my forehead for my lines but I’m not happy with the results obviously with my eye and my dark circles are NOT better. I’m definitely not coming back to this place. Other places are more expensive but totally worth it. Think twice before coming here do more research. You lost a client and I was going to recommend this with my friends, but after this bad experience obviously not!

Trash bins were full and Dr. Tran would walk in sandalsWhen I brought up the issue to them, I was told to wait 4 weeks 🙃 so crooked smile for a whole month. Im embarrassed to even smile cuz it is obvious of the type of work I got done. Then Dr. Tran tried to sell me more botox when he had already injected so much on my forehead without accomplishing what I went there for.Very contradictory to wait 4 weeks to add any product yet, filled you up with botox (which then you could develop resistance) so you pay more.

It was my first time getting lip fillers and everyone was so nice and attentive . I had no pain at all, the nurse was so sweet and gave me all the information needed. I will definitely be coming back .

I absolute love my lips!!! Nurse Val was great!!! She answered all of my questions and was so precise.i had gotten my lips done before else where and did not get the results I wanted but Val was able to not only fix My lips but completely met my expectations

This place is so nice & clean! Rosalie is the sweetest. The girls at the front counter were very helpful as well. Nurse Val has the best work I’ve seen in the Bay Area. Will definitely be coming back here again!!

Val was amazing! She talked me through everything and confirmed I was comfortable consistently throughout the lip enhancement. Rosalie was very helpful over the phone! Will be back :)
