Ive been looking for a dentist for a while and found Trinity Dental/Dr. Shen on YELP. I am so glad I did, because everything about this Clinic is 5+ Stars.The Clinic is very clean, the staff are very nice and very accommodating as well.Dr Shen and his staff takes their time in explaining procedures that needs to be done without being pushy like other Dental Clinics.They also value your time so there is never a wait time for every appointment.Even on the days they are off and you need someone to talk to, someone is always there to answer the phones and they also have after hours Emergency Numbers.Dr Shen and the whole staff does a superb job and are very highly recommended, if you are looking to switch to a new Dentist, look no further and call the Clinic ASAP!

I was referred to TRINITY Family Dental, Dr Shen’s practice from my child’s Pediatric dentist to take care of a traumatic fracture of his permanent front tooth. As a prior Dental Hygienist i know there are no easy solutions for traumatic dental experiences that are not always cleae cut. We decided to put on a crown until he grows up and redetermine our options. Dr Shen and his staff have been extremely helpful since last March 2022 that we visited him. We were undergoing Orthodontic treatment ar a 3rd location. Yeaterday we came back for a small re-asjustment . When we called Diane was super helpful and fit us right in. I didnt mind driving in the rain. At this point i fully trust and feel lucky to have Dr Shen providi g care to us! I will also become a patient myself.

Best Dental Office Ive ever been to. I personally hate dentist offices since they always seem like they want to take your money and take advantage of you. The last office I went to I ended spending 10k on procedures I did not need at the time due to scare tactics. At Trinity Family Dental the office was clean, staff were super friendly and they make sure you were comfortable throughout your appointment with sun glasses for protection from bright lights and a pillow for your head. This place is awesome. I highly recommend them!

Love getting my teeth cleaned here. Something I always hated before but they take great care of me here. Office has excellent staff that was friendly and took time to answer my questions and give expert opinions. Got x-rays, and a cleaning this visit very happy with results. They took time to review the x-rays with me and explain things to me. Over all very happy with my experience. The doctor also supports military personnel as well.

Such a friendly and family feel environment. They were great. From the tech to the dentist to the hygienist. They made me feel very comfortable and didn’t sound pushy like the last dental office went to. They sat with me and showed every single thing I needed done and put together a treatment plan. I took my 4 yr old to Dr. Shen for his first visit and oral exam for T-K. Last night he was very scared about his first experience. However, he had such an awesome experience today he already wants to go back!I myself am a first time patient after 12 years of not going, they did not make me feel guilty or bad about my teeth health. Infact they made me believe that the dentist doesnt have to be a bad experience and that I can get back to good health with their help. I have been coming here for a handful of years now and have brought some family members over as well.Dr. Shens office took me over as a patient when I had to unexpectedly switch dentist mid-way through my teeth straightening process.He was able to get me set up with my trays again and Ive been on the road to better dental health with him and the rest of the staff since.They are located right off the lake Murray/70th exit off the 8 freeway. I moved from the Bay Area a few months ago and had to find a new dentist. My daughter-in-law recommended Trinity Family Dental. They are so thorough, very professional, knowledgeable and very caring. Marisol the hygienist was fantastic. She listened to my concerns and was very gentile when cleaning my teeth, which was a relief as I have sensitive teeth. I have to take a moment and leave a great review for Dr. Shen. My family and I are new here and he first saw my 7-year-old son and he was extremely pleasant.Then today I had a very small cavity and I was in and out of the office in 12 minutes!!! Amazing. It was actually less invasive than the cleaning I received a couple weeks ago. (A bit rough but that was due to the hygienist and my teeth did feel extra clean afterward!) I am still amazed thinking about that cavity experience. As a person who had a traumatic dentist experience as a child, its really a wonderful thing to see my kids and my entire family have good experiences.Dr. Shen is very gentle, very professional, and just a nice person. He has a combination of everything you would want in a dentist.

Everyone at Trinity Family Dental were very nice. From the front desk to the person taking the X-rays to the dentist himself. Dr. Shen is very patient and answered all my questions. Although I have a lot of work I need to get done, I felt so hopeful after my visit. I heard the doctor say, we can always work from where we’re at. Ive had 3 appointments so far and I feel the team here genuinely cares about my oral health *overall* - not just for the preventive services I usually show up for. If you’re looking for a great dentist and very fair prices, you need to make an appointment here! I’m not kidding. I have had a crown replacement, a dental implant and even a full scaling with Summer, the hygienist. She is awesome too! They are very experienced in giving shots because I can barely feel them! They do awesome work and the whole staff is very friendly and comfortable to be around. After going here, I realized how badly I was getting ripped at the other dental offices. I was impressed with the ease and convenience of getting a very old crown(from a different dentist in a different state)replaced, I was in and out in less than 2 hours with my permanent crown!All of the staff used the safest procedures when caring for me and did it with such sincerity and kindness. I needed an emergency dental appointment to fix a cracked crown. They accommodated me to come in for a consultation within 4 days and completed the procedure the same day I went in! I recently started getting my teeth cleaned at Trinity Family Dental and have to share my experiences. Marisol, my dental hygienist puts up with my idiosyncrasies like allowing me to hold the suction. She happily answers all my questions and is very personable. Dr. Chen is the dentist whom I met upon my initial exam and xrays and cleaning, which were ALL offered for only $89 because I was a new patient. He is very straightforward and explained whats priority and what can wait a little while longer. All the front desk staff are courteous and helpful with any requests I have. The office waiting room has a relaxing fountain and has a warm feel to it. All in all, I feel very comfortable and in good hands here at Trinity Dental.

I have recently get a treatment done with Dr Shen! I’m a person with severe dentophohia and only decided to consult Dr Shen based on his amazing reviews!I Must say, I could give Dr Shen 10 stars! My body was literally shivering bcuz of anxiety, and he really gave me the time to be fully relaxed…as soon as he start drilling… NO pressure! NO PAIN AT ALL. I am so amazed I didn’t even feel needle! He also offered magical pill and laughing gas, I have taken both bcuz of anxiety but I truly feel NO need to taking it thru procedure. In my 41 years, of all the dental experiences Ive had, Dr. Shen and the staff at Trinity Family Dental have not only made me feel comfortable with getting my teeth worked on, they have played a major role in ending a phobia to have dental work done. In a little over 2 months, I had 5 appointments to have an impacted wisdom tooth removed, fillings on both sides of my mouth, and a cleaning.Dr. Shen is gentle with all procedures, exudes a positive and calm energy,, and very good at what he does. He is highly experienced and never brought any pain to me during or after the work I had done. In fact, during the procedure to remove my impacted wisdom tooth, I ended up falling to sleep, and the next thing I knew, the whole thing was over.For all of my procedures, I was very fortunate to have Lauren, a Registered Dental Assistant, to be at Dr Shens side. She has been there with me before and after each appointment, speaks in a truly soothing tone, and always brought the energy to make me feel I was in the best of hands. I feel extremely lucky to be a patient to her and Dr Shen.The staff at the front desk are beyond understanding, flexible to your needs and concerns, and always bring a positive attitude.Adding on to the quality of personnel, the new location is a completely renovated office that feels, extremely clean, tremendously calm, and my only choice for having my teeth worked on. The new location is right off the freeway, has convenient parking, and not once did I feel unsafe in the office in my 5 appointments during the COVID-19 pandemic.Im looking forward to my next appointment, and was actually sad when my 5th and final appointment was complete. Like to give my thanks to Letty for her excellent phone customer service and getting me in immediately (Same Day) even during this crisis we are all enduring these days. Lauren the hygienist that took excellent care of me while we waited for the Dr. Shen, she was very professional and took me into the exam room as soon as I arrived and took several X-rays and had everything ready for Dr. Shen to review as soon as he walked in.Dr Shen was amazing took the time to throughly listen to me explain where and what exactly was the pain I was experiencing. Seems as though no tooth extraction were warranted nor any root canals (which by the way I was expecting) merely some gum discomfort which we are treating with some prescribed medication.Seems as though I have found my new local dental office being that I didn’t have one prior to do this visit. My first visit to Trinity Family dentaly today was absolutely wonderful. The waiting room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. There was water and coffee available as well. All the staff was very respectful and courteous. Having dental xrays done is never fun or comfortable but my dental assistant (I forgot her name, my bad) was gentle and efficient.Dr Shen was very thorough in the exam and made me feel at ease. He asked me several times if I had any concerns or questions. I have had many negative experiences with dentists. I had a horrible extraction done 3 months before I came to Trinity Family Dental. When I came here I thought I was going to lose a lot more teeth. Dr Shen was very comforting and gentle and assured me that with regular cleanings I would be able to save most of the teeth that other dentists wanted to pull out. I have anxiety getting dental work done, but Dr. Shen and his staff are amazing!When you walk into their office you feel welcomed. The front desk provided details about what insurance covered and what my out of pocket costs were. Prices were very affordable.I had to get a root canal done on a crowned tooth. They explained every step of the process. All of their equipment is high tech. I was able to get my crown done in less than 2 hours. Friendly and courteous staff. Caring and professional staff. During my first visit I found out I had a couple of issues to take care of. We then agreed on a reasonable care plan. My second visit required me to have my teeth cleaned. Ive always been a little leery of getting this done because I have very sensitive gums. Let me assure you the Hygienist made me so relaxed that I could have fell asleep. These guys are great. Cant wait to get all of my care taken care of.Just had my second visit yesterday. During the visit I had to have a crown removed to take care of a underling cavity. Then have a new crown made to replace the old one. If you ever had the experience of getting a crown then youve probably been through the process of making a mold of your teeth (feels like your choking the whole time while the mold is hardening in your mouth). Then getting a temporary crown, then being told you have to come back in 2 weeks to remove the temporary and replace it with the permanent crown. Well all of that has changed. I was in and out of the office with all of that taken cared of in just one visit. They 3D video your tooth needing the crown then send it to a machine in another room and the PRESTO! in 30 minuets you have your new permanent crown. After they make sure it fits correctly it goes to get hardened and polished (about 10 minuets). Then its time to cement it in. Fine tuning the bite is very minimal due to the high accuracy of the 3D imaging used. I left extremely happy with the care I received and after the anesthetic wore off there was not even the slightest hint of discomfort.Kudos to Dr. Shen and the Trinity Family Dental Team for a job well done!

Have been here twice and love it. First was an emergency root canal i needed taken care of since it was causing alot of discomfort and distraction in my daily routine and sleep, also being 6 months pregnant i wasnt able to take pain killers. The dentist that takes cares of root canals wasnt available but dr shen (sorry if i spelled that wrong) was able to take me in quick and drain out the infection, put medicine and temporarily close it until my next appt. Before my first visit here at trinity dental, the first dental clinic i went to was la maestra since they took my insurance i was hoping they would be able to relieve me. Waited over 2 hours just to be told that they couldnt help me. Frustrated, in pain, tired i yelped other locations and found trinity. Just had my second visit with the root canal specialist, quick and felt no pain completing my procedure! I have a fear of feeling anything so the dr numbed me up very well. They offer payment plans for patients without insurance, i almost had to reschedule because i needed more time to gather funds but the receptionist was very sweet and heard me out and worked with me. Thank you guys so much. Everyone here is very sweet, love the cleanliness and relaxing atmosphere. They deserve the recognition.i will be continuing my dental work here.

This is my first Google review, but with such a positive experience, I had to write this review. The first thing that comes to mind is the clean, courteous, and top notch grade-A professional service. As soon as I stepped through the front door, I wanted to do a double take on the name on the door. This is because I saw all the cozy amenities and thought I was walking into the front desk of a fancy health spa, rather than at a dental office.I know a lot of people (even myself), have some kind of phobia/paranoia about visiting the dentist. This is usually from some childhood trauma, creepy movie horror stories, or just bad dental service. Trinity Family Dental is far from that. I actually left with a smile vs the typical dentist visit with a sore/numb mouth, a bewildered what the ef just happened to me attitude, and an empty wallet, or crazy payments. Thank-you Dr. Shen and all of the staff. You got a patient for life who plans to refer anyone and everyone I know to come here.

I reached out to Dr. Shen because he is knowledgeable with military, veteran, and reserve. As a veteran, Dr. Shen understands the needs of service members and his staff are knowledgeable with Tricare and United Concordia Insurance. I drove 87 miles for my appointment. The staff accommodated me by making sure my paperwork was completed ahead of time. When I got to the office, I gave Dr. Shen my dental records and the night guard I had been using. He took the records and studied them while an assistant ushered me to the exam room for a full set of x-rays. When we were done, Dr. Shen asked me what I expected from the visit, and we proceeded to form the goals for the visit. With the aid of an assistant, he conducted a comprehensive exam. He presented his diagnosis and treatment plan based on my dental history, x-rays, and information gained from the examination. He then worked with his office to figure out how much my insurance would cover. He came back shortly with a very good price for services. The price was so good that I ended getting everything repaired in one visit. Six of my silver fillings were replaced with resin composite, a worn-out tooth was covered with a crown, and I was fitted for a new night guard. Everything took 3 1/2 hours. I probably would have left sooner, if Dr. Shen wasnt such a nice guy to talk to. I credit the whole office for the professional service and environment. But, I believe Dr. Shen deserves credit for his servant leadership. He showed up to the office at the same time, if not earlier than his staff. He treated his staff as equals and listened to their input. In turn, his team sought to educate me with their procedures, equipment, and dental health. They were attentive to my needs especially when I needed more anesthesia for pain. The whole experience made me feel like things were done right, for the right reasons.

I had my orthodontic work done here with Dr. Tsoi and am currently finishing up dental work with Dr. Shen. My whole life I was unable to find a dentist office I can trust. Therefore, my oral hygiene was never a priority! After I had started my treatment plan at Trinity Family Dental, I gained a lot of trust with this office to take care of my health. Theyve helped me come such a long way with my teeth that now my oral health is a huge priority. I actually like going to the dentist. My orthodontist, Dr. Tsoi is amazing and was so sincere throughout my whole orthodontic treatment. Dr. Shen and the hygienists here are very gentle with my teeth and respectful! This office is very to the point regarding scheduling, payments and fees; Ive never had any issues or miscommunication. Ive relocated about 2 hours from this office, but I still commute to this dentist office because I cant find service elsewhere that compares.

I was blatantly lied to over the phone about what precautions they are taking in response to COVID 19, had to wait in the waiting room full of people while they are taking people back one by one before me when I had purposely made the first appointment of the day for health risk reasons. Waited over a month to have my morning wasted, thanks.They screwed up another customers appointment while I was there too, canceling on her and not even telling her when she failed to confirm via text--youve got to be kidding me. No one likes having their time wasted like that, do yourself a favor and avoid it.

Dr. Shen is gentle and caring. I appreciate his conservative approach, and he lets the numbing gel sit longer than other dentists so the novocaine injection doesnt hurt at all. I would recommend him to a friend looking for a dentist.
