My daughter in law recommended the Triangle Motel to us. We also have a dog which can complicate traveling. We found the motel to be exceptionally clean and well maintained. It was recently remodeled.The owners are friendly and welcoming. They have a welcome package for dogs: a treat, a dish and poop bags. Were happy to return again and again.

This adorable and unique hotel is right off the freeway in Red bluff easy to find easy to navigate from. But the best part about it is the actual love and care and detail that has been put into the place. Clearly the owners of this hotel care about the little details. And you notice it from the moment you get into the room. I just had the nicest stay with my husband on the way through and would highly recommend. What a sweet family and we wish them the best in this new venture

This place is absolutely charming! Perfect stop along the way on our road trip. The rooms are clean with great ambiance and attention to detail. The decor and theme are modern with an old west retro vibe. Loved pulling truck up to room. It felt safe and peaceful. Close to charming down town. Had a great Mexican dinner at Los Mariachis. Will definitely stay again if we pass through. Easy check in and check out!

This is truly a gem, and easily the best place to stay in the area. I was exhausted after a long drive and there were so many sweet touches. The white noise/blue tooth, ear plugs, and sleep tea were helpful. The bed and linens were so comfortable--I had a wonderfully refreshing nights sleep! Local products and tasty coffee. The room was spotless and the AC worked great. Thanks for a perfect spot to rest!

I was so delighted with our room. They kept a 50s feel, while updating everything. The beds have a personal reading lamp, plus they have a dimmer switch. Each side has a small table . There is a cute refrigerator that also is a cool 50s style. The bed is heaven and everything is super clean . Erin, who is one of the masterminds, is so very nice. We brought our 2 dogs, and we got a room just for dog owners like us. We got a little doggy gift. Make a point of staying here if youre passing through. Well worth it.

This is a special place. The motel has been redone with careful thought to comfort, convenience, and design. The owners have clearly put their hearts into this project. The room was so serene with a super comfortable bed, good lighting, well-placed furniture, wonderfully large shower. The amenities were a luxury: handmade local soap, organic shampoo, etc. Good coffee and teas provided. If I’d brought my swim suit I would have definitely jumped in the pool. The patio was great with a very good grill and comfortable lounge furniture. I will definitely stay here again—right off I-5 and very close to restaurants and good morning coffee shop.

What a treat to find this cute little 1940s motel at the end of the long drive from SoCal. So clean and well appointed!! Loved the fresh linens on a very comfortable bed. Erin shows a love for the community with all the sweet touches of using local soaps, coffee and tea.The only improvement I would recommend would be to have safety grab bars in the showers. I had an emergency visit to the ER the morning we were to leave and Erin was so gracious to give us more time to check out. Hope to get back there soon to use the pool and picnic area.They are wonderful owners who care about their guests.

This hotel is really cool! Thoughtfully designed from the rustic wood headboard to the retro mini fridge, the attention to detail is evident. The room was very comfortable and most importantly …spotlessly clean. Walking distance to shopping and a short distance to a really good taqueria.

The Triangle Motel is being restored. All the rooms are done now and they are immaculate. The beds are top quality, the linens are great and the owners very responsive. I love staying there. The place is a work in progress with the outside upgrades next. I cant wait to see the finished product.PS: For me, staying at the Triangle is a breath of fresh air compared to the usual Brand Name cookie-cutter motel serving plastic wrapped pastries and some corn Cocoa Puffs as free breakfast. Rather BYO breakfast at the Triangle. Lovin it!

Stayed at the Triangle Motel for a night on the way to Lassen National Park from Portland, OR.Wonderful motel with Palm Springs vibes. Completely remodeled and so cute! The bed was really comfortable and loved that they had a white noise machine.Would recommend this motel to anyone who happens to be in Red Bluff!

This is a nice little motel with a great location near I5, the rooms and property overall have been nicely restored. The reason for the reduction in rating was because on arrival we found a dead cockroach in the bathroom, one on the front walk and had another unidentified bug visitor in the morning. Didn’t feel like we should be barefoot in the room. Also the shower curtain was moldy on the bottom. When I informed the staff the next day I got a nice apology…

Ive stayed here 4 times in the last 6 months. Its been an excellent midway point for driving between Los Angeles and Portland, and I wont stay anywhere else now. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. This has everything I want in a motel room and more, and its nicer than nearly any Ive ever seen. The tucked away from the main road location helps me feel safer. I dont worry about anyone messing with my car late at night. There are also plenty of places to fuel up your vehicle and body on Main Street before you get back on the road.Every stay has been excellent and I havent needed anything. This last week I had an unexpected last-minute delay for my trip and reached out to Erin to ask for a change to my reservation. She responded quickly and very kindly agreed to accommodate our last minute changes. I also love that they support sustainable products. I now use the same bamboo toilet paper that they use in the rooms. We love the Triangle Motel!Bonus: If youre Covid Conscious, this is a great place to stay when traveling along I-5. Its a smaller motel, the exterior door opens to the outside, and the AC is a wall or ceiling mounted mini-split so there should be no shared air.

This hotel was the cleanest I have been in recently and was a great value. The owners were very accommodating and have done a wonderful job renovating the site. My room was quiet and totally what I needed for my private retreat. The grounds had a comfortable patio and I was able to walk for anything I might need during my stay. I give this place the highest marks and will stay again.

What an awesome place to end a long day on the road.I got the information about the room and more a couple days before arrival which was very helpful. Legit zero questions needed to be answered when I arrived - it was ALL there before I could ask.The room we were in was cozy, squeaky clean, and beautifully decorated. I especially the design of the bathroom, which was fully tiled with a flush shower that seamlessly blended with the rest of the floor (ADA room). So cool I want to steal the idea for my house.The bathroom featured great local and eco friendly products. Bonus points to the owners for getting the good TP from Who Gives a Crap! Its not cheap, but it vibes well with their eco conscious values.We loved the pool. It was quiet and shaded in the hot late afternoon. So refreshing and so close to the rooms.We didnt have time to check out any local recommendations but I appreciated the owner sending those too!!Would 100% stay again!

Erin and her family have done an incredible job with this Darling Motel! Great outdoor gathering space for hanging out or socializing with others you’re traveling with. The rooms have been reinvented so tastefully. We sat out on our Front porch each night. Beds were super comfy and d’lish in-room coffee. We WILL be back.

We enjoyed our stay at this charming place. The vibe is cute and 1940s retro, harkening back to old-fashioned motor lodges. A refreshing change from so many boring chain motels, which cost significantly more than the Triangle. Easy, contactless check-in with a door code that was texted to us well before check-in time. Our room was very clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The room had a darling retro mini fridge and retro electric kettle, with thoughtful amenities like complimentary earplugs and a white noise machine. (However, we werent disturbed by any noise at all, so didnt avail ourselves of them.) Air conditioning, large-screen TV, good shower, small table with two chairs. The location is right off of Highway 5 and within walking distance of a Raleys supermarket, a Walgreens (right next door), and a Starbucks. There is a pool on the premises as well, which we didnt use, due to our limited time there. We met Erin, one of the owners, and she is delightful. If we ever need a room in Red Bluff again, we will stay at the Triangle Motel for sure!

We came straight from three nights in the Aria in Vegas (a 5 star hotel that was 3 times the cost of the Triangle Motel), and honestly, this motel was nicer. I know, you cannot really compare these places, but for example:The fridge at the Triangle was actually usable, and not full of over priced junk. The bathroom at the Triangle had beautiful hand made soap, and refillable shampoo/body wash etc, not plastic throwaways. Our car was parked outside our room for no extra charge, not parked 20 minutes away for $18/night. And so on...

We travel all the time from Canada to the States for work, and this has to be the best Motel we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in many! Beautifully renovated, lovely design touches throughout, pretty exterior and wonderful interior design. We met one of the owners and they are doing a great job! We loved this place. The room was perfect in every way ! What a wonderful renovation. I had actually booked our room for the wrong night and the owners helped me straighten it out. Whew! I had booked a room at the Triangle Motel as it looked locally-owned and really quaint… plus it was halfway between our travel destinations. Unfortunately, I had gotten into a vehicle accident on the exact day I was to check into the motel. The owners graciously offered and provided a full refund, which was totally unexpected and came as a much needed relief… especially since I was also traveling with my fur baby. We truly hope there is another opportunity to stay at this motel and to support this locally-owned establishment.

I have stayed at the Triangle motel twice in the past two weeks. I had a very positive experience both times. The rooms were clean and the owners of the motel were a pleasure to work with. Good beds and wifi. Plenty of hot water in the shower.I would stay here again when passing through Red Bluff.

Found this wonderful little Gem in Red Bluff! This family owned 1940s motel is getting a complete remodel. We loved how clean and fresh the room was. Its very convenient right off the freeway and has grocery stores and restaurants all very close by. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower that was very nicely tiled. We had a king bed, which was comfortable, and we loved the massive homebuilt headboard with a built in shelf on both sides for a water bottle and phone. Nice large screen TV and a nice retro fridge. Theres an outdoor area with BBQ and picnic facilities. The price was good and the owner, Erin, was GREAT!!! If youre ever passing through Red Bluff and need a place to stay we highly recommend it. We will definitely be back!

Brand new remodeled motel. Super clean and fresh throughout. One thing I love about this property is the the road only goes to the motel and it dead ends at the motel and theres really nothing else around it. This adds to a feeling of security unlike most motels that share space with gas stations, fast food spots or other hotels. I commend the business acumen and drive of the owners to raise the bar for motels in this area.

The Triangle Motel could not have been more convenient. From the location to the beautifully designed rooms, its quite easy to forget youre staying in a motel. This place is, in no way, your standard run-of-the-mill motel. First off, the owners are such great hosts, and what theyre doing with this place should be recognized for its hospitality and modernity. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was fabulous. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for budget-friendly accommodations in/around Red Bluff, California. I would certainly return should I find myself in the area again. For its close proximity to the highway and a trailer park, its incredibly quiet. If you need a microwave during your stay, let the staff know; theyre happy to accommodate such requests.

The motel is about 30 minutes from Redding and is right off the freeway. Great rest spot with plenty of parking. We also had forgotten our dog bowls and were able to have them mailed to us. Erin with Triangle Motel is fantastic. Super easy to communicate with.

I don’t know who or where the other reviewers have stayed before or if they were fake BUT this place gave me the creeps. Felt like Bates Motel or something from IDTV. Clean yes, if you just need a place to sleep and a pot to piss in, shower, you’re good. Gave it a 2 star for rooms ONLY because the bed was good. Water pressure was good. Response was good. Turn on the light for the bathroom? Lights up whole small room. No local cable!A.M./P.M. across the street. Nothing else close.Definitely a NO GO!

My grandparents live in walking distance to this motel so I chose it for location while I visited for the holidays. I was on a motorcycle ride. I prefer motels like Triangle where you can ride in and park right in front of your room.This place is definitely on pace to redo the entire property. There is a row of rooms that are obviously to be don next as they were in the process of being renovated. Dont be put off by the parking lot. I imagine that will be the last thing they take care of. It is rough and has a bunch of potholes but nothing that will bend a rim on either a car or motorcycle - just a nit pick.The rooms are really well re-done very recently. The bathroom is spacious and the shower facility is really nice. The room was impeccable. The bed was comfortable.One thing I really like is the check in process. You get either a text or email with instructions on opening your room with a code. No nee to stand in line or wait for a clerk to come to check you in. The TV is the latest technology. The heating (I assume air conditioning would be as well) was very good and easy to operate.The location is good - right of the highway and within walking distance of a fast food restaurant, a drug store, a 7-11 and a gas station.Im keeping this place on my list of places if I find myself running through Red Bluff.

It was a quick but great stay. Stopped on the way between Portland and Los Angeles for the night and Erin was quick to help get me booked and into my room. Great location, close to the downtown without being in it, close to the highway without hearing it. Nice updated rooms and amenities. The King Room was comfortable with good space for a solo traveler or couple. Plenty of parking, and a nice looking pool I didnt get to try out. Would definitely stay again.

A real gem in Red Bluff, we really enjoyed our stay! The room and grounds are completely remodeled, modernized but in a thoughtful way that honors the cool vintage style of the motel. Spotlessly clean room (and Im picky). Very comfortable, and I love that theyre using a lot of local, organic, and environmentally friendlier items (right down to the compostable waste basket liners). The location is easy on and off the freeway (and I personally didnt notice the noise that some reviews mentioned, but there is a white noise machine and even ear plugs provided). Really well designed, great service, good location, we will definitely stay here again! (We do visit the area regularly, and usually stay in one of the chain hotels, but so glad we found the Triangle!)

This place was a breath of fresh air! After a long day of driving in cold weather, we arrived to a warm, cozy, clean and tidy room. The room has everything you need for a good night’s sleep.The online check-in process was seamless. There is plenty of parking, blocked off from the main road. Food and coffee options nearby.This is a pet friendly hotel. Their pet fee is so reasonable compared to other hotels nearby. And they are a true pet friendly hotel. They don’t just tolerate pets. They had doggie bags, a towel and treats ready for use! We also met the family that runs it on our way out. So lovely. All in all, a great experience.

LOVED this place. Got last minute and on a whim - just liked the vibe from the photos and needed a mid-way point for my travels from Oregon to Bay Area. I do this trip fairly frequently and its the perfect mid spot. So grateful to find a place that really DOES feel like home. The rooms are modern and efficient and bed is comfy with soft white sheets. Room is beautiful in that spare, hipster, Portlandly way. With a touch of California ranch on the side. LOVED the local toiletries (would buy them) made from natural ingreds and refillable (so no plastic waste). I appreciate those details coming from an architect dad and artist mom with earth-loving values. Favorite thing: I ran into two of the partners in the morning and they felt like FRIENDS. No joke. We even exchanged birding info (Im studying ornithology). This is my mid-way hotel for life! Only reason why not five star on room rating: loud location next to busy highway (not their fault and they provide ear-plugs and white noise machine). And I needed microwave (but found out later that can be requested). Teapot is great and tea provided was excellent. I dont drink coffee so didnt try that.

Great stay at the Triangle Motel. Sometimes hard to find a clean place to stay, and this place is notable for its cleanliness. Bed linens and bed were very comfortable. Rooms are newly refinished with cute decor. Nice coffee for the morning. Had a cute patio and pool but didn’t have a chance to use that. Would definitely stay again if passing through.

My in-laws live in the area and we usually stay with them, but this Thanksgiving there was no room, so I found Triangle Motel online and the rooms looked so cute and a decent honest price too. We checked in yesterday 11/23/2024 at 3pm and the room was so cute and clean. I didnt get any pictures unfortunately. I loved the decor and the bathroom tiling was very cool! Room came with a mini fridge, tea kettle along with tea and coffee, TV with lots of channels, a cool little Bluetooth speaker/white noise sound and remote controlled heater/cooler. I notice they only have half of the motel renovated, Im sure once its all done they will be just packed! There is also a pool in the center of the property which will be nice in the summer. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to stay again when we drive up to visit!

This is a GREAT place! We dont like staying in chain hotels and found this gem searching on line. We liked it so much that we changed plans to stay another night on our way home.Extremely clean, smells fresh and new with great décor. On a weeklong trip it was the best nights sleep we had. On a spontaneous trip to OR and ID I stopped in Redbluff CA for a look around the town and ended up staying the night at the Triangle boutique Motel. Erin has done a beautiful renovation with the strong old bones of this quaint motel. My room was fresh and bright. With everything modern and new. The shower with convenient wall mounted soap, shampoo and conditioner was luxurious. I slept so well in the most comfortable bed, pillows and linens. For summer visitors the pool is large and attractive. Nearby you will find a well equipped BBQ and seating. Erin was very pleasantly responsive and communicative by phone and text. Book your stay! The price is right.

This classic motel - completely and recently renovated - from a bygone era, before air travel dominated domestic transport, is both stunningly contemporary (spotless, bright, quiet, excellently appointed interior furnishings) and also lovingly tipping its hat to a time when the car was king, and youd have probably arrived in a Ford Thunderbird. Fabulous communications and help from the staff, and excellently located. This is a must-visit motel!

I am so glad I came across this awesome Motel on Google! This is the classic roadside Motel updated with clean modern touches but has not lost its vintage charm which I really appreciate and love. It is cozy like an airbnb and has some nice local bath products and decor touches and has a great common patio space to sit and lounge. It was a bit chilly to try the pool but it was also a cool area to lounge as well. The rooms are well appointed and super affordable. We actually rented 2 rooms.The owners were working on the property when we arrived and they were able to take time to chat about their project they are so excited about! Mt Shasta is nearby and is a great place to explore and check out cafes!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Triangle Motel. The renovated rooms are so beautiful and clean. The property is nice and quiet at night. They also have the coziest sitting area outside with a grill! The cherry on top is the incredibly kind and caring service. Highly recommend! My partner and I stayed here on our way to Lassen NP and it was perfect. The motel is off the I-5, but tucked away off the main road which makes it feel more private and quiet. Excellent Motel! Quaint & cozy environment with obvious attention to detail. The setup is so unique compared to the larger chain hotels which makes the experience all the better. The owners have put a ton of thought, personality & nice touches into the exterior, grounds & the room(s). It all comes together to make it feel very comfortable & relaxing. There is even a patio with an outdoor kitchen, BBQ and cafe lighting. Everything appeared newly remodeled & the rooms are some of the cleanest we’ve seen. The little extras include locally sourced soaps & coffee. The only reason we rated slightly lower for the location was the road & train noise, however it was not that big of a problem, and there was a nice little sound machine provided that really helped. Overall an amazing place and we would definitely stay again.

The Triangle is an oasis when you want a spot for one night, or four.My dog Ollie and I checked in for four nights. The self check in was super easy. I booked the King dog friendly room and it was beyond my expectations.They made sure Ollie had a yummy treat, poop bags and a cool, plaid kerchief.The bath products were all natural, but smelled really good.The King bed was a bit firmer than I’m used to, but the four gigantic, long pillows were amazing.They offered tea and coffee using a retro tea pot, and that retro small (not small) fridgeHeld my egg salad, tuna salad and a dozen water, sodas.The swimming pool was my favorite thing. I could cool off and swim daily with very little noise.This family has renovated an old, rundown space and created a welcoming, adorable, calm place to rest your head for a night or four.

We had the pleasure of being one of the Triangle Motels first guests in June 2023. Erin and her family have made this the cutest place to stay when you are in Red Bluff. The rooms are easy spacious and the bathrooms have walk in showers which we prefer. The wifi was excellent and the place was so clean and fresh! The little details like tea and coffee were enjoyed. There is even a fridge in the room which we find very helpful when staying multiple days in a location. The Motel is situated perfectly to grocery shopping and other activities in the area. The next time we are visiting Red Bluff this is where we will stay.

This place was a surprise. My husband wanted me to change our reservation after I made it because he thought it looked like run down trailer park...or at least near to a run down trailer park (it is not always easy to tell On Google Maps). I assured him that I had done my research and that he would be pleasantly surprised. I was right...AGAIN.The keyless check in process was so easy. The room was meticulously clean. The bed was super comfy and the reading lamp perfectly placed. Minimalistic and perfect. It had all we needed for a quick stay on our road trip. The price point was also nice. I tried the pool in the morning and only dipoed my toe in because it seemed cold...but it is a cute little pool-surrounded by palms. I thought there was a hot tub and there wasnt...maybe the owners will add one some day. There is a community outdoor space with an outdoor kitchen that we did not use, but it would have been nice to if we were staying for more than one night.

Driving from Portland to SF in one day is possible, but why would you when you can easily stop at the Triangle Motel for the evening? Convenient location off I-5, near gas, food and coffee. Online booking was a breeze, got texted the room entry info, texted when checking out.Clean, no frills, and felt very personally/thoughtfully decorated.We booked the dog friendly room, great for our 30lb pup - even had some extras ready for her, which is a first for me!Can get a little loud with the road/train, so thankful they had earplugs. Triangle Motel is an adorable roadside motel updated to a chic boutique. Erin communicated great over the phone and via text. Once on a bustling highway in the past but now this place is a quiet, serene location off the main drag.Soaps and shampoo are locally sourced. Having lived in Red Bluff when I was younger I always saw this hotel as an eye sore and now it is such a cute little gem! I’ve been watching the renovation on Instagram and knew I had to stay there the next time I was in town visiting family. Even though we have plenty of family to stay with my mom and I decided to book a room for the night so we could check it out. It is so clean and designed so well! We spent the evening in the pool and even though it is right off of I-5 it was like a quiet little oasis. If you need a stop on your next vacation I would highly recommend booking a room here!

This was the perfect roadside motel. It’s just been renovated and updated, everything is brand new. The theme is kind of like California minimal, which makes use of the cinderblock walls (which are great for keeping down noise; although we were the only people there that night I think so that wouldn’t have been a prob anyway). Erin was extremely welcoming and nice. I left my pants behind by mistake and she made sure I got them back on my way home. Great experience overall, we will definitely be back.

Recently renovated, and they have done a great job! The rooms all have a very minimalistic design, and they look beautiful and modern. The rooms all come equipped with a small electric kettle and coffee bags to steep. Other amendments include a mini fridge, an A/C, a TV with some streaming apps, and a small pool!Other people have included pictures of the rooms, so I wont do that to avoid redundancy, but I have included an image of the pool. I might also suggest to the owners that they install a door guard on the inside of the doors because its kind of hard to tell if its locked from the inside. I dont know if other people feel this way though, might just be my own paranoia!Thank you for the stay, though. We had a great weekend.

Love the Triangle Motel! It was perfect to stop at on our way from southern CA to Washington. It was beautiful with nice amenities, easy to check in, and super convenient location. Though its close to the main road, its very quiet thanks to the cinderblock walls. Which also makes it a perfect stay for those traveling with dogs! My dog is super reactive and has a hard time at hotels, we couldnt hear any of the guests in the rooms next to us and got a great nights sleep.

Its very clean (like brand new), and I like that its close to the highway but tucked a little bit away so you dont get all the traffic noise. The location makes it safe even for a lone female traveler. We found and booked this motel through Airbnb. We decided to book it because we had a gift card with Airbnb and a discount on top of that. We arrived really late due to a long road trip but it was easy self check in. The place was very simple, cute and modern. Feels nice and renovated.
