In my 30+ yrs in the Bay Area I have not met a Dentist as good as Dr Joe (and I’ve had a few)In addition, speaking as a Disabled Vet, Dr Joe (really) honors all veterans which is rare these days.I call on all my fellow veterans to give Dr Joe a visit and see for yourself.His work has far superseded any dental work I have had in the past and his office is the friendliest office I’ve evr been to.

I have been to many dentists over my lifetime. Some were good, some were not, but the care I received from Dr. Joe at Tri-Valley Aesthetic in Livermore was excellent. His staff is personable and professional, always pleasant. He is compassionate, has a real awesome personality, great customer service, extremely thorough ...but best of all, the work he did on my teeth was flawless... beautiful. I used to dread going to the dentist but not anymore, there was no pain when he worked on my teeth, he was very gentle and there was soft music playing in the back ground, creating a calm and peaceful environment. His prices were amazing. I have no dental insurance so that was a real plus. I was so impressed that I am recommending him to all my children, my family and all my friends. I have had an absolutely amazing experience here!! I’ve had severe dental anxiety over my lifetime and I needed quite a few treatments done from root canals to dental implants. I will say their front office staff, Jenni is very warm and personable. Dr. Joe and his amazing assistant Jennifer made me feel so calm and comfortable, that I felt very at ease!! Dr Joe and his staff are so easy to work with. The Dr listens to what you have to say and answers all questions. You will never feel rushed. He explains everything that he does so that you understand. I can’t wait to see the finished results. He had a lot to do because of the prior work that was done by another dentist that was done poorly and causing me other issues. So far I feel much better. You are always greeted like you’re family. I’ve been seeing Dr. Hwang for a few years now and he is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. I’ve never felt more easy at doing dental work and even my daughters and friends who usually get very anxious about dental work go to Dr. Joe and have found themselves overcoming their anxiety and getting the work done with a lot of ease. Disappointed. I was a new patient, diagnosed with a wisdom teeth, immediately after that the doctor went on a vacation, called so many times with pain to get a referral, no one would attend the call, even the front office. Now even after weeks, called again today for a cleaning, then again no reply. Would be great if at least there is a voice mail which says we are closed. This seems to be unprofessional.

After many years of unsatisfactory experiences with dentists, I can honestly say that Dr. Hwang and his staff are the best! They are honest, trustworthy, very knowledgeable, and to top it off they have great personalities! Dr. Hwang does not push unneeded work on teeth, he gives a truthful assessment and a detailed plan to correct any issues. It is a nice and clean facility and the chairs are comfortable as well. If you have children, there is a little area in the patient rooms for kids to sit and read books, play with toys, or watch tv right in front of the chair you sit in.Really enjoy this dentistry!

Dr. Hwang is great! My 78 yr old mother-in-law had not seen a dentist in many years and needed cleaning and work on some of her teeth. He was very through on his examination and explained the issue with each damaged area. He and his staff are very professional and helped us with scheduling the dental work to get the best coverage through her insurance.I would highly recommend Dr. Hwang. If I lived closer, he would be my dentist too!

First let me say Ive never been a good dental patient. My mouth is small and its always an unpleasant experience no matter what Im having done. Until now. Dr. Hwang is so conscious of his patients special needs and takes the time to really make it as comfortable a process as possible, while ensuring youre procedures are completed precisely but in a timely manner according to your schedule. He truly cares about, not only your teeth, but you as a person. Hes real, and personable and makes you feel like an old friend. His professional knowledge is impressive. Hes stays on top of his research and keeps himself abreast of anything new in the dental world. This was very crucial for me particularly as he was able to identify an allergy I was having to some old procedures I had done years ago that were causing me a lot of difficulty. He makes it easy for you to relax and just let him do what he does. My teeth look amazing and feel great and I know hes helping me to have the healthiest dental hygiene Ive ever had! Then theres Jenna, one if his dental assistants that Ive become very familiar and fond of. She always has a smile on her face and never fails to make you feel like youre the most important person in the room. She helps make taking care of our teeth an easy flexible process for my husband and I, really doing her best to accommodate our crazy schedules. If youre looking for someone who actually cares AND is awesome at what they do, this is the place to go. We couldnt be happier...or healthier.

His work has far exceeded any expectations I had for what dentistry could realistically do for me. I have all sorts of negative associations with past experiences with dentistry but Dr. Hwang and his staff put me at ease. I was very pessimistic about my situation before I visited his office, I thought Id go into debt working with different specialists and using different appliances to open up my palate and straighten my teeth in order to undo the damage done by impacted wisdom teeth and restore my old smile. Dr. Hwang has helped me with this and taken me far beyond just restoring my old smile and bite but instead began working to improve them to be far better than they ever have been. I am now expecting to attain a much more aesthetic and functional smile than I had ever considered possible without drastic surgical intervention and the process has been pain free.

I’ve been going to Tri-Valley for several years now and they are the best. I’ve had my share of complicated dental work and Dr Hwang always does a superb job. I wouldn’t go to anyone else and recommend them to my friends.
