These guys saw me same day, and even thought they were down a mechanic and backlogged, Joe jumped in to help figure out why my bike was making a weird noise. He asked me to give me him some time, and after 15 minutes figured out the new shimano crankset that was installed last week had its factory set screws under-torqued! I’m so happy I’ll ride this weekend!

My daughter loves her new Trek Marlin 5 (azure color) bike. Great value for a bike with disc brakes and front suspension. The tires are also perfect sized for dirt trails. The Trek Team at the Dublin, CA store is really friendly, and Jake did a nice job explaining all of the features on the bike. My daughter (11) tested the bike outside before buying the bike and did not feel pressured. It turns out the bike also comes with one tune up, to be used within the first year. I have also had two bikes serviced at this location and they did a great job tuning the bikes (shifting is back to normal!). Thanks for the great buying experience.

Had the worst experience ever walking in this store with my 9 yr old daughter today 12/9/23 to purchase a bicycle! The employees in this store along with the general manager are not looking to work with customers in any way to sell bikes. The sales manager walked away from the area we were looking at the children bikes and was hollering from across the store in manner that seemed he was trying to shame us for asking and was hollering from over 20ft away that there is no sales/discounts. The manner in which he did it made it seem like he wanted to shame us for asking or inquiring. The store manager called me later to act like he wanted to sell me a bike, but again was not motivated in any way to make a sale especially after the horrible service we experienced inside the Dublin Trek Store 👎. They mention the listed prices are the listed prices and that they cannot throw in any accessories and also mentioned no sales/discounts especially around Christmas time. I would never spend my money with such arrogant attitude customer service.

I forgot my charger, after purchasing an e-bike. One of the managers called me, and set up a time, at my convenience to deliver it. When he came to the house he also had a gift from the store (a headlight that I mentioned that I would purchase later). He should me how to use the charger, installed the light..WOW.. I feel that there is no training for this kind of passion!!! The service is that of being family.

Great service from the store manager (Joseph) as he was extremely knowledgeable and absolutely gave me no sales pressure which I greatly appreciated and ultimately led me to come back and purchase the bike. It was also very good to see his rapport and how he treats his employees, with respect and trust in his interactions that I can see very clearly as a customer. The service manager Jake was also very professional, knowledgeable, attention to detail, and friendly and was able to assist me with questions as he prepped the bike for delivery. Overall Im very impressed with the store and the people that work there.

The repair shop is great. Brian helped me out replacing brake rotors today and he was extremely helpful. It wasn’t a difficult job for him but his free help saved me a lot of time and money that I would have spent on new tools. I’ll be coming back here.

The staff were very accommodating. They set up two bikes for test rides with only 30 minutes until the store closed. They never rushed me. They looked up wheel weights at my request. Checked inventory on the bike I was interested in. I only bought a tire today, but they were really helpful. I will buy my next Trek bike from this store.

Excellent service. I left it way too long to get a tune up, but Jake returned my bike to me looking brand new as promised, he even stayed late to make sure I got my bike back before Monday when they’re closed. Jake also went the extra mile to do a quick repair on a second bike that received less than stellar service at a different bike shop last week. Highly recommend the service dept at this location.

My son broke his frame on a Roscoe 6. Trek stood behind their lifetime frame warranty and provided a new frame and Trek Dublin moved all the components over to the new frame. My son was working a summer job at a bike camp and with no bike ne was out of a job. Although Dublin Trek didnt have any loaner bikes, I explained the situation to them, and the manager agreed to let my son demo a comparable bike while they worked on moving the components over to the new frame. When moving the components over to the new frame they cleaned, tested, and calibrated all the components, so everything was in better shape than when we brought it in. They replaced minor parts such as a broken derailleur hanger without charging us. Everyone at Trek Dublin was super friendly and helpful and they really went above and beyond by providing a demo tor our specific situation. Trek Dublin is truly a great bike shop.

I am very pleased with the quality of service at this shop. They are very courteous whenever I come into the store and their turnaround time and quality of work is excellent. For example, I brought in my new road bike that was having issues with the hydraulic disc brakes, and they were able to evaluate it and determine that it was eligible for a warranty replacement. I had purchased the bike at a different store but these guys were still happy to help me out. There was a labor fee but it was very reasonable and well worth it, given that I had read they do excellent work. When the replacement parts came in, they fixed my bike right away and its currently functioning perfectly. Now I get to enjoy my new road bike and its thanks to this shop for taking the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue and provide quality repair work. I also want to mention that this shop has worked on my backup road bike. The bike was making some noise in the bottom bracket area, and the shop determined that it was due to some roughness in the drive-side bearing. They replaced the bottom bracket and now the bike is quiet again. The turnaround time was very prompt, too. I now have two bikes that are dialed in and am very confident that this shop will help me ensure that each bike stays that way. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for efficient, quality bicycle repair and maintenance service.

Being new to the cycle world, he rode around the parking lot with me to get me comfortable. Service and care like no other. Joe is great too, very service cycle oriented team. Rep there was very friendly and never once pressured us into buying the bike of interest, answering all the questions junior had. He is also very knowledgeable and explained to us what it takes to maintain. Having an in-house service shop makes it very convenient for maintenance. I bought two bikes from this store, the manager Joe said is free of charge to make any adjustment within the first 30days, when i call back to ask for adjustment, a service manager said that will be a charge for $9 and ask me to come back in other day when Joe is in store. On Friday, March 31st my club (Vally Spokesman Bicycle Club) started their ride from the Trek Dublin (California) store. I had done full tune up on my bike (Trek Domane) earlier in the week somewhere else in preparation for the upcoming Cinderella ride. But my bike wasnt shifting properly - it was missing some shifts and double or triple shifting on others. I stopped in to purchase a new rear derailer. I connected with a tech who said he would look at it first and try to adjust it before I purchased a new one. He made some adjustments but when I took the bike for a test ride, it was still happening. Then the Dublin Service Manager, Jake Bye, got involved. He test rode my bike himself and then tried to make some further adjustments, but the bike was still not shifting well. He told me he thought I did need a new derailer and offered to install it for free because he knew the gentleman who had done my tune up. After installing the derailer, the bike was shifting much better but there were still some gears slipping. Jake then did a further test on the cassette using a special tool and determined that the edges were too pointy. So Jake also replaced the cassette. He then did another test ride and then I did a test ride and it is working really well now. I thought Jake went way beyond the call of duty, and I was so impressed with his patience, knowledge and professionalism. I am a ride leader for VSBC, so I will be sure to encourage riders to seek out Jake when their bike is giving them trouble!

Thanks for all the effort, even if it took 5 days (Sunday buy, Friday Pick-up, previously gone to the store 2 days for free) before I could ride my bike. On the weekend around Dublin, Livermore war´s perfect! The adjustment on it I then had to have fine tuned again in Dublin, the other Trek store in the near from my hotel, but so this is a perfect bike for the purposes I want to use it in the next few months, (even if it is more than 100$ expensive than in Germany....)thank you, it was after last time in 2019 again a good buying experience with you!

I don’t know why I’m only posting a review now...I met David this spring when I started looking for a TREK after having ridden only specialized for many years. He was super helpful when I started calling around, so I decided to visit. I had called and visited Local shops in Pleasanton, Dublin, and Livermore... even San Ramon and Danville. Nothing....Everything was sold out, difficult to locate any bike that I wanted during COVID, but he answered my questions and as soon as my size came in, he called, remembered my name and my size/needs, and also for my daughters... he gives me a one hour time window to show up and purchase... he has this “little black book” that he writes notes in and really goes back and follows up. Haha. We’ve purchased two Marlin 5s here, multiple accessories and have had only the best experience here. The store is smaller than the Livermore shop, but parking is better and the location feels safe and bright.

Bike needed derailleur adjustment before a long training ride. Chuck quickly assessed that the hanger was bent and that my cable and chain were very worn (which I already knew). In no time I was all fixed up and my bike runs great! This shop works on all levels of bikes including electric bikes.

New to cycling and walked in with my preschooler. We were completely ignored by the guy at the counter who appeared like he was having a conversation with an a buddy. Another guy was helping a customer. Walked around for a few minutes and wasnt sure where to look. No acknowledgement from either staff or ask if I needed any help. Walked out of the store, and the guy at the front counter still completely ignored me. Worst customer experience. My derailleur has been very finicky lately and despite trips to the LBS not getting any better. Today as I was riding sweep on a group ride, my chain dropped and wedged so deeply in my cassette I couldnt budge it out. I was SO LUCKY because it happened right in front of the Livermore Cyclery. They guys in the shop worked on my bike immediately and had me back out and riding 20minutes. They were very kind, offered degreaser for my hands and adjusted my derrailleur so perfectly that bike is now humming like it was when it was first new.THEY WERE AWESOME and I am so grateful for their service today!(My fellow female riders enjoyed shopping in the clothing section while waiting).

I ride Specialized!I am a road cyclist that may ride over 1200 miles per month. Been to this shop twice. Both times the kid at the counter behaved as though it was a bother serving me.Upgrading another Specialized frameset this Winter, be sure i wont be shopping here.

Guys sold me the wrong size bike I am 506 and they sold me a Small size my knees hurt when I pedal, I called them right before hitting the 30 days and associate told me manager was not in store I finally got a hold of him today and said there was nothing to do, he never let me tried a medium size just straight sold me a small size, now Im stuck with a small size bike it seems like all they care about is money and not safety.
