First impression during check in, I was told theres a $200 security charge. Thats half of what our 3 night stay was. Ive never even had a security charge that high in Las Vegas.Dont expect normal sized pillows. Both of our beds had these half sized pillows kind of square in shape. Like couch pillows but flat.The bathroom door had a hole in the top corner, and rubbed all over the door frame. The door handle and striker plate on the same door are not secured and are extremely loose. You have to shove the door to get it back open.The bathroom fan is just about dead. After 2 of us had took showers in the morning, the entire room was extremely humid, and all of our clean clothes ended up smelling moldy from the humidity. Keep in mind, this was with the bathroom door being shut.Our room had 3 pairs of outlets you SHOULD be able to use to charge a phone or laptop. I say should, because only the outlets next to the bathroom sink worked. All others would not hold any plug in the outlet.

This is our second time staying here and I gotta say, people give this place such a bad rap for stupid reasons. Y’all are way too snobby about stuff that doesn’t matter. The rooms are clean, it’s close to LAX, they’ve got wifi and the AC/heat works great! Sure it’s not like some crazy luxurious suite, but what’d you expect? You get what you pay for. And considering how overpriced everything in LA is, I’d say this place is a pretty excellent deal all things considered. Idk about you but when I come to LA it’s because I have plans that involve me NOT being stuck in the hotel room all day so what does it really matter? Give me a clean, decently comfy bed to sleep in at night and I’m happy. If you wanna pay like $400 a night to stay at the Hilton Doubletree in little tokyo be my guest, but personally I’d rather save that money and put it towards some good food or something else while i’m here. Hotels are a necessity, not a luxury.My only gripe with this place the first time we stayed here was that the pillows felt like they were filled with deer ankles, they were lumpy as hell. But this time around (one year later) they must’ve invested in new pillows because they were soft and squishy and felt sooo much better.Aside from that, it’s good to note that the rooms don’t have a mini fridge or anything so if you’re planning on bringing leftovers back to your room after eating somewhere, maybe bring a cooler or something.Other than that, travelodge lynwood rules. I’ll probably stay here every time I come to LA because it’s the only hotel that’s not ridiculously expensive.

Room was dirty, really dusty with hairs on sink and tub and really dusty. 1st night had to go around killing spiders in room (3 total). And pillows definitely need to be replaced. I like the area thou lots of stores nearby

Absolutely horrible service, car crashed into the room below us and nothing was done, then our room starts leaking from the ceiling as we wake up we went to the front desk and they were absolutely rude as hell saying they could move us rooms but nothing else, as they said this we told them todays our check out date and they wanted a refund already. The Indian man (owner) walked away from us as we were talking and threw his hand in the air, said it will be fixed and left a garbage bin in our rooms until we left and after the rain stopped, I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE AT ALL!!!!!! WORST HOTEL I HAVE EXPERIENCED!!!!

I had already made a reservation for a week, paid, and when I get there, the room wasn’t ready. Check in time was 2pm and it was past that. They also tell me I have to make a $200 deposit. ??? When i have already paid for the room. I had requested a microwave earlier and was told it would be provided shortly. We come back (it’s 2:30pm already) and the room doesn’t have the microwave i was promised. I go back to the front desk to ask and I’m told again it’ll be there shortly. I get frustrated and ask her when because it’s about to be 3pm already i just want to eat some food and shower. No instead I get my reservation cancelled and treated disrespectfully. I got a full refund without fees because even the agent I talked to (Expedia as thats where i made my reservation) agreed it wasn’t my fault. Tldr: i got my reservation canceled all because i kept asking for the microwave i was promised and the manager on-site allowed it to happen. Watch at the end of this review, Travelodge is gonna reply with empty promises on how they’ll make sure this never happens again. IT HAPPENS ALL THE TIME AND THEY D O N T CARE. The women at the front especially Sally deserve to be fired I’m homeless at the time I’m making this review . Travelodge should be ashamed of their ridiculous employees

1.) This would be considered a Motel and not a Hotel.2.) Off the bat, I noticed right away that the noise was going to be an issue. From the people above me on the 2nd floor and the people next to me on my right. Every step from above sounded like the Giants were going to fall through the ceiling and I could here the people next to me like I was sitting in the room with them. Hell, I could here the sound of their kids video game through the walls like it was right next to me.3.) Lots of trucks. Air brakes.4.) Its just loud at this Motel folks. If youre a hard sleeper, maybe it could work for you but it felt like there was no walls and the noise came right in.

Its OK, a bit rundown, and really need updates badly. For the price, I do expect more, but the location is a great fit for what Im doing for work today. Ill be moving on tomorrow to hopefully a nicer place for a few days.

Horrible service left me and my fiance homeless we made reservations to stay here two days before and when we insist on getting a microwave the pregnant lady in the front cancelled our reservation and didnt even refund us. They have a poor old lady working so hard can barely keep up in the cleaning the owner very mean lady that takes the employees side even if they disrespect and harass the customers.

Ok, it a point of evaluating it like for like. As such, I am evaluating a travel lodge as a travel lodge, and not a four-star hotel.At first glance, I would’ve given that hotel a 5 star, it was clean, newly renovated, and everything appeared to be clean. When I wipe down the room with my sanitary napkin, the napkin was white.This is why I gave it a 3.1) we selected the hotel because it had a shuttle to the airport. We checked in at 4 PM and tried to reserve a 5 AM shuttle. We were told the shuttle is full and we would have to wait till six, which does not work for her schedule.2) there was three pillows on a king size bed. There was one small bar of hand soap to be used for the shower and the sink. There was one washcloth.3). But this is the big issue, I took a shower and by the time I walked from the bathroom to the far side of the bed, and the bottom of my feet were filthy! The clean looking floor was disgustingly dirty. I had to put socks on every time I got out of bed! Not acceptable!

I have spent over one hour reading your reviews from prior stays at you hotel. OMG, why hasnt this place been closed down? With all the complaints that I read and how profusely your staff apologizes... Yet nothing is being done to correct the problems. No WiFi, No Microwave, No refrigerators, No extra blankets. Sally was terrible at front desk. I reserved a room for 3 days cause I came from Idaho and Sally kicked me and my injured girl out because I was unhappy with her waking me up with calls and I wanted to talk to her boss about that. Sally should be fired and I recorded everything she said.

I was in that location. The truth is, the service is terrible. I dont know why they have to withdraw money twice when they have already withdrawn it and been in other places and I have never been past asking them and the truth is they give you very bad service as if they had given you the free room and you are paying for a good service and what they give you is a mediocre service, the truth is I dont think I will stay, there is no more 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Getting to the hotel requires a little better direction, but its not a bad place. If you are looking for a super quiet place, this isnt it, but for my one night I was comfortable and felt safe. The blankets were a little too thin for the cold rainy night, but I again, I was comfy.

The hotel is so close to Plaza Mexico, exactly where we wanted to go. We chose this hotel for its location. The room was ok but it really needs some maintenance! The service was terrible! I asked for a earlier check in, well, when I was finally able to check in it passed the normal check in time. At the front desk the ladies had a great conversation that forgot about us, one lady had the room keys waiving in her hand while talking and ignoring us.They announced swimming pool that is not availableThey offered wifi that never worked.When I went to the front desk to check out the lady just said to leave the keys there so indifferent. I asked for the check out receipt she answered sharply, the printer is not working without any intention to help. She could ask to email or mail the receipt but she just ignored me.

The first room we stayed in smelled like smoke, so we did let the lady at the front desk know so we dont get charge and she did move us to a different room. There is no microwave or fridge in both rooms we were in. Overall 2nd room was clean, decent smell. The thing that bothered us the most was every night we came back to our room late there was a homeless person sleeping in front of our door! We kept having to tell the same homeless person to move. Also the last night of our stay we were woken up at 3AM to someone trying to break in our room and kicking our door down. We immediately let the front desk know and they stated she was going to call security and report it. We stayed up late waiting for security and ended up falling asleep. We didnt feel comfortable going outside. The next morning we went to the front desk to get an update about the situation last night and at the end they NEVER reported it, we dont even know if security showed up . It was a scary experience and they did nothing about it. Yet we still had to pay full price for that experience.

It was what I expected. Rooms were basic with no refrigerator or microwave but the room was clean. It is also right next to this plaza that has awesome food choices. You did not need to drive anywhere for food! The biggest issue was the wifi did not work the entire weekend and according to one worker is an ongoing issue. That is the one thing that will prevent me from re-booking

The location is a mixed bag. Loud atmosphere if youre not used to big-city-USA. Multiple sirens daily, trucks/lorrys park nearby and come and go at any time. On the other hand, close to a freeway (not hearable) and basically attached to a small shopping area (various fast food stores, food4less, nail salons) 5 mins walk away is the plaza Mexico, a Mexican mall with many tiny shops.Rooms are spacious enough for two persons and their luggage. Rooms and beds are clean. Bed is comfortable. Furniture looks a bit rustic/antiquated but serves its purpose. No cockroaches. AC works well, has an Auto mode and isnt too loud in my opinion.Drawbacks: all safes are out of order (staff quote), various cosmetic damage in the bathroom area, a fixed shower head only, soap provided is in absolutely tiny amounts.The WiFi provided is a disaster, its slow by default and the situation is only made worse by the fact that all the rooms share it. Its better in rooms closer to the reception. You constantly have to reconnect. All in all barely usable.Rooms lack a microwave, a WiFi repeater and a (mini) fridge.Other than that the cleaning staff does a fantastic job and doesnt steal (hence why the broken safe situation is less important). Enough free parking on site. Staff at the reception will help you but could be a bit friendlier. Seem a bit overworked.Rooms lack a microwave, a WiFi repeater and a (mini) fridge.

Theres a lot of businesses nearby and its close enough to other interesting locations if youre willing to drive ~30 minutes which isnt too bad.

Had a 3rd party reservation. Got a great rate. The room was clean. No fridge or microwave. We had reserved a single queen, bed was definitely not a queen. It was a full size bed, apart from the bed being small, it was very comfortable. TV did not work. Had a black line through the middle. Had to reset it several times as it kept freezing. Finally gave up. Shower had no water pressure whatsoever. The entrance to the hotel is through a back street or through the shopping center parking lot. Wyndham advertises breakfast or continental breakfast included. My guess is due to covid, no continental breakfast. They did have coffee though.

We stayed for a week for a boxing event for our son. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Its conveniently located within walking distance to many nearby stores and restaurants. Will definitely be back to stay when we are in the area.

The rooms themselves are great. Clean and very spacious. The channels on the television were few. Breakfast was alright for a quick bite, I wouldnt have it as a meal though. The location isnt great but it seemed safe. Plaza México is located right next door which is convenient. Lots of food options around. There is a lot of movement going on at night, people coming in and out of rooms. Staff was friendly and considerate. Would recommend for one night stay only. Rooms fill up quick so it might be a good idea to make a reservation.

Location is pretty ideal since it is close to the highway, but its pretty close to a crime-ridden city so there is no leaving the motel at night for a stroll. The rooms are recently renovated, but you could see peeling off wallpaper at some corners. Everything seemed clean. You dont get a fridge or a microwave if thats what youre looking for. The breakfast area is pretty small, and so is the breakfast, but it gets the job done. The staff wasnt that attentive to the breakfast after my first night, but next morning after was spectacular. The looks on the outside dont look that great but once you get in the room, youll realize you got a great deal!

So our company is paying for our employee to stay for 6 week reservation. They will not take company credit card without the company account ID refusing to check him in without the company ID . The employee has his ID company is paying and they refuse to check him in. Ridiculous how do you make business how can you make money the COMPANY is paying for all expenses including check in fee. The Lady working on 3/29 at 4pm is a joke! I go in the office and shes says outside! I was thinking she was joking? But noticed she was giving me an evil look so I asked why I have to go outside? She says there cleaning! I couldnt believe the way she was talking to me so then I go outside and ask for the rate and she says $125 plus $200 cash deposit and I said Ive never been asked for $200 deposit and Ive stayed there in the past several times so she says read the sign! I point out that it said or valid credit card and she says everyone pays cash! so I just turned around and left. This lady has something going on because that is not normal behavior.

Worst motel ever. My plane arrived here a little early so I try to go and check in and the clerk tells me that I would need to pay 120 dollars on top of what my reservation cost was mind you I was only 8 hours early for check in time. So I wait until around 11am. I was told that they don’t have any rooms but I’ve been in the parking lot watching people check out. Most hotels would accommodate to the customer and they understand things happen so if you arrive early they will give you a room. At little to no extra charge. They are not human beings here they don’t understand that things happen in life. They try to milk you for whatever they can. I will never ever book or stay here in my life. On top of that it’s in a bad area. 👎🏻

Stayed here on our weekend getaway to Los Angeles. This was the best place I could find in terms of distance and price near downtown LA. The neighborhood wasnt the best (near Compton), but it was conveniently located inside a plaza (Dominos among other food/market places) on the main road leading to the freeway. The parking lot tend to get full at night, but the adjacent lot has additional parking spots for guests.They have a 24 hours front desk staff, inside the small registration building up front, where they also offer complimentary continental breakfast (didnt have breakfast, so cant tell you about it). The rooms were motel style and located and accessed from the outside of the property. The exterior on the property had beautiful palm trees, giving it a very neat look. The interior of the room was basic, bed, night stands, small table, shower, TV, and an AC. They had an iron and a board that came in handy, but no microwave or fridge. We couldnt store anything perishable or drinks in the fridge, nor warm up leftovers in the microwave. I requested a microwave or fridge, as they dont have one in the front registration building, but they never brought us one. The room had a small safe in it. The room was clean, and room service would come every morning to tidy it up again. The bed was comfortable, it was difficult for me to get up in the mornings. I dislike how the sink and mirror is on the outside the bathroom. The bathroom floors werent super clean, and the shower head was rusty where the water would stream out from.Overall its a decent place to stay for the price and distance. Commute to the airport, downtown, or any activity (beach, sightseeing, museum, etc.) is a drive (especially with traffic), so factor that in. I personally dont think the commute is worth it, I would rather pay a little more to be closer to downtown, because of all the time you cant afford to lose on a short trip. Its a trade off, but you get what you pay for.

I posted a review because I like reading reviews before I go places. The room wasnt for me but I was there all the time the location is good its inside a shopping center so incase you need something you have it right there food,grocery store,rite aid not bad. Room is a descent size, a/c,heater, nice size tv, bed is comfortable and the restroom are nice and clean. A lil noisy at night but its nothing bad. The freeway is right next to the hotel so thats a plus for me.

I walk into the room and I lay on the bed to see how the bed is and Im basically falling into the middle of the bed the bed basically is sinking in the middle and doesnt feel comfortable I asked the front desk for full refund they said the cat provide me with a refund all they can do even though it was 10 minutes ago when we first got the room the lady came to check the room she claimed the bed is fine and offered me to another room but I have The front desk girl basically told me that she will exchange me to another room but I have to pay $30 more because all they had is a room with two beds when I only needed one I said why is it my fault that your bed does not feel comfortable and youre touching me more now she says that I either want it or you dont I going to your website did your actual website and they find out that I can book another queen bed non-smoking but she told me thereBut she claimed there was no more rooms available with one queen bed when I was able to secure another queen bed on the website. I arrived at this motel when I was very tired. The $80 price was definitely too much for this place. The pictures I am attaching include black mold on the bathroom walls - I actually found a lot more mold above the tub later that night. Black mold causes respiratory problems. The sticky, dirty carpet made it difficult to find a place to stand to brush my teeth - I felt like this was outdoors and I was supposed to keep my shoes on. When I ate breakfast - the bagel was very stale, but I was too hungry to skip it. Most of the fruits were spoiled. Three African American cleaners of this place were standing outside yelling at each other when I arrived, and then they were yelling again as I was trying to fall asleep. I heard somebody scratching against my door at night. A strange guy walked up to me and started harassing me as I was waiting for Lyft outside this place. Overall a pretty dangerous place to stay at. The outside is also decomposing and not like in the pictures. Somebody left boogers in the sheets - suggesting that they were not changed after whoever stayed there before me. There was also a hole in the sheets. If I hadnt stayed up for nearly 48 hours by that point, I wouldve asked for a different room or a refund, but I opted against this. One bright point was that for the first time in many motel stays, there were no loud harassing homeless people or other violent-looking shady characters in the dining room when I ate breakfast: maybe because I arrived first thing at 6:30am.

I was hung up on by the manager Sue (I am a paying cust. who has already PAID for their room in July). Who does that?? I booked through priceline name your own price. I understand I have to call to see if a 2 bed is available, it is, but she wants to charge me $35.00 to upgrade, which takes the cost of the room OVER the cost listed on their website of $92.00 (i have pictures for proof, same dates I was staying). I use pricline all the time and had NEVER been charged up upgrade to go to 2 beds. Reluctantly, I agreed to pay a difference to what rack rate is (so now I have saved NOTHING with priceline), but just refused to pay over the rack rate. I feel like I am being ripped off. I dont care if its 20.00 more or 1.00 more. How can I be charged MORE for the room per what your website lists. I dont care what site I used to book your place. Room smelled like smoke even though it was a non smoking room. TV was a newer Samsung flat screen but omitted a stange pitched whine while watching TNT. HBO which was advertised was not available on the TV. The mattress sank when you layed down, no box spring was present, slept horribly. I have stayed at comparable priced Motel 6s and had a better experience than this place. I will not be staying here again and I doubt I will ever stay at a Travelodge again. To top it all off our iPod is missing along with the charging cable. Was not worth the $80 a night which was their special AAA rate; Spend your money elsewhere.

Let me start on the VERY GOOOOD reason why it’s 1 star.1: WiFi wouldn’t work and isn’t working for most people here, I talked to the internet providers here and they can’t do anything about it.2: after realizing there wasn’t any internet I tried watching TV the cable (Dish) and it kept freezing and it would stay like that, so the only way to make It work again is disconnecting the cable manually.3: breakfast has like 4 items, cereal, cinnamon bun, toast and air4: the parking here is HORRRIBLE, I find better parking in a graveyard.5:no refund apparently, although there is a fee.
