Trapped in Upland! We haven’t had that much fun in a long time!! Kayla was our host and explained everything so well. She gave us hints when needed but didn’t make it too easy for us! Will definitely return to try another room.

We completed down the rabbit hole as a four person team. It was so fun!!! We had a blast! Annabelle was our game master and she was so fun and stayed in character the whole time. Highly recommend! And very family friendly

The Merlin was outstanding. The kids and I had a great time. Unfortunately we were only able to complete 3 or the 4 puzzles. On the other hand, we also did the Puzzlemaster and we completed that with 25 minutes left. I wish that was harder or at least, had a continuation puzzle as I didn’t feel I got our monies worth.

It was our first time doing an escape room. I am so glad we came here for our first experience. We had so much fun! We were scared that we wouldn’t be able to get through the whole experience, but some guidance was given when needed. That made all the difference in making our first experience an enjoyable one.

We played the Trials of Merlin tonight and it was fantastic. One of the best escape rooms I’ve ever played. Syd was our game master and was very interactive and funny throughout our experience. Syd was excellent and enhanced our experience . I highly recommend Trapped, their escape rooms are excellent!

The Menagerie had unique, well thought out puzzles - some of my favorite Ive ever done! I didnt find them too difficult or too easy - we didnt ask for any hints, but we were given hints automatically. Which was fine, as the point is to get through the story, so being stuck on something silly like not knowing a certain box is there to be opened immediately without the need for a key would be wasted time. I liked that the game master(s) were involved in the experience and playing their part the whole way through. As a group of 5, we managed to complete the room fully, which made me feel satisfied. It could be done with 2-4 people in my opinion. Strange we didnt have a timer in the room. Im undecided if that bothered me or not. I guess it didnt in this case because we finished with time remaining. My only issue is that something in the room didnt execute properly, which was too bad as it broke immersion, but its not enough for me to give it any less than 5 stars. I highly recommend this room! Amazing job, Trapped!

We had a fantastic experience at Trapped! this weekend. We did Down the Rabbit Hole - I think my partner would have liked something with a little more suspense and drama, but I loved the whimsicality of this storybook-themed room. Fwiw, this specific escape room would probably be great for a family with kids. Our game master, Emerald, added a fun touch with her librarian character. Well definitely be back!

A lot of fun! Our group got stuck...and we had to be given clues. We received just the right amount of help from the owl when we were taking too long. All of the employees or characters were great! We had a group of 8. 6 would probably be ideal, but we all had a great time!

Just did Lair of Puzzlemaster and it was fun! Definitely a room you have to think A LOT. I’ve done Trials of Merlin and the FBI one, both are fun! Definitely like Trials of Merlin as my favorite! Thanks Syd for helping us and making it memorable! Will come back to redo Merlin in the future haha.

Weve gone twice now and had fun both times. Two of the people from our party were coming from over an hour away and unfortunately didnt time things correctly and missed the event and the lady who checked us in was kind enough to give us a a voucher for each of them to redeem to come back! Great customer service!The puzzles themselves were not overly difficult or overly easy. We did the menagrie room the second time and felt like the objective could have been a little bit clearer, but again, we had a good time.

We enjoyed our time trying to leave the Rabbit Hole. Unfortunately, we were unable to leave within the one hour limit, even with assistance from the help horn. We will do it again because it was fun. Took my son and friends to the Christmas-themed escape room, and it was a blast! The ladys thorough explanation set the stage well. The teens faced a challenging time, but with just 3 minutes left, they successfully escaped the toy shop, playing the roles of determined elves. My wife and I went here while we were in town and we did the Down the Rabbit Hole room and we had a blast! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was very family friendly, and the puzzles were excellent. This was our first experience doing an escape room therefore I am sure the visit we will remember the most, and I am happy to say it is a great memory!

What a fun first time experience! We did the “Merlin” room and enjoyed all the detailed set up and theme appropriate puzzles. My 8 and 10 yr old kids were equally involved in solving the mysteries! We recently played the Trials of Merlin and the Menagerie at the Trapped location in Upland. Both rooms are fantastic but Trials of Merlin is simply a must see for anyone who likes escape rooms.It has some of the best set design (stuff I would expect to see on Hollywood) of any escape room I have ever played. It really felt like being inside a movie and we were the stars. We all had an amazing time with this one, the puzzles are top notch and the special effects are... to die for.

We did 2 rooms back to back. They was great puzzles and excellent game masters. Managed to escape both. These rooms was probably medium difficulty so its great rooms to being a family in as the puzzles could be solved relatively easily if everyone works as a team. Highly recommend this location for your escape room needs as the staff is very friendly.

Our group did the “Trials of Merlin” escape room tonight. There were 6 of us ranging from middle school teens to adults. The theme was fun, the details in the room were incredible and the puzzles were easy enough for the teens to participate yet still provided enough challenge for the adults to stay engaged. Trapped offers some of my favorite escape rooms and this one hit it out of the park.

Trinity and Roury were awesome in Down the rabbit hole. I cant remember the names of the staff that ran the other two rooms, but everyone was super personable and into their roles. Awesome experience and wonderful staff! The Menagerie room was very well done and immersive with the lighting and sound effects, and had many and varied puzzles to solve. All of the rooms we have done at Trapped! have been exceptional experiences. In addition, our handler for The Menagerie was fantastic! She played 2 different characters with different accents, helped us out without providing too much info, and took the time to explain puzzles/answer our questions at the end of the game. 10/10 would recommend to all of my friends

A wonderful experience! First off, the staff is extremely friendly and amazingly attentive. I have been there 8 times and each time Im blown away by the ingenious manner by which they tell the story and creative things you have to do to get out. My favorite is the.now gone Sector 13. For Upland, Trials of Merlin is a fantastic room. Im San Dimas, (San Dimas High School Football Rules! For the Bill and Ted fans) my favorite there is Grandmas Surprise. They all have strong elements of intrigue and puzzle solving. The only sad thing is that, like your favorite movie, its impossible to go back and experience it all for the very first time AGAIN! Great job Trapped, so far you are my favorite set of escape rooms.

Had a great time with 6 friends for the puzzle master. Place is clean and easy to find. Employees added to the great time and their clues for guidance were appreciated. They kept a helpful and watchful eye out if you’re struggling for too long and were enthusiastic with keeping the theme of the room. Processing and all the front desk stuff is quick. Would definitely recommend without hesitation and can’t wait to go back.

This is our 3rd time experiencing Trapped. This time we chose to do the Rabbit Hole. It was fun. You do need a group to help. We have done two of them in San Dimas, but this time we tried Upland. Took my parents for their first time as a fun family thing and we ended up going back the next week to try another room. Both hosts were very friendly and were fun to communicate with for hints. Definitely recommend the Upland location!If its your first time, you should try the Down the Rabbit Hole room, the puzzles are easier for first timers, but still tricky enough to feel rewarded after solving each part.The Menagerie was much harder puzzle-wise and I would have wanted another person at least in our group to help. We made it past the first two sections, but it was still tricky to solve in an hour, we could have used another hour honestly - super cool set deign though!! All of us want to go back again and I got my parents hooked :)

We got a Groupon for Christmas and booked with a group of friends for the puzzlemaster room. I loved how immersive the whole experience is. This was the second time experiencing an escape room. Had a blast both times but the authenticity and details of this place definitely stands out. Rory was out dungeon master... Game master and he did an outstanding job making us feel welcome right off the bat. He definitely added to the experience. Me and three others did the Menagerie and it was a great room. Very creative puzzles, and a wide range of puzzle types as well. There were four or five moments that were really captivating, left me admiring the skill of whoever put the room together! If youre not too bad at escape rooms you may be able to complete it with just two players but youll have a great time either way. If you play, I say go all in, let yourself get a little goofy immersing yourself into your character, made it even more fun!

Our Girl Scout troop visited with 16 attendees. We were able to secure 2 rooms. The girls had a great time and Michael was an amazing host. The game helpers were also terrific and in tune to the girls needs inside of the challenge. They offered enough assistance so that they were successful, but not so much that they werent challenged. Our group had a lot of fun. We did Down the Rabbit Hole and it was super detailed, immersive, with a great story, and very creative. The puzzles were very creative as well and not just key locks which added to the theme and experience. Every puzzle was very rewarding and we never felt lost or confused and we knew immediately once we completed a puzzle. We have played all the rooms at the Upland location including the newest room, the Menagerie. I have to say that the production design and room games are amazing and so much fun! They are like walking onto a movie set or into an art installation. And the staff is great! Always friendly and fun and good at giving hints but not giving away too much when you need it. Our game master Amanda was great! We had a wonderful time with her and being able to play in a private room with my group is fantastic. Now that we have given all the Upland rooms a try, we are ready to try our hand at the San Dimas location. Thanks Trapped! You’re a great way to spend an hour.

Booked Down the Rabbit hole after reading many good reviews online. It is a max of 6 people, but I didn’t realize until after my daughters invited friends that I had to be in the room too since they are minors. I explained the situation on a message and heard back from Rolland that he would let me be the 7th person in the room for no charge.When we showed up today, the rules were explained clearly. I was bummed that I couldn’t take in my phone so I could just listen to music while the girls worked on the puzzles. I understand the reason for no phones though. I ended up helping them a little. It was was great that they had to figure out how to open multiple doors. The clues were challenging, but doable. They almost solved it within the hour, so the guide was kind enough to let them finish with some direct advice from him. The girls were excited to see how it ended. The decor and setup of the room was awesome too. A good value for the price, I would love to go back.

I have done two escape rooms at this location now. Both times with a small group. The rooms themselves are always nice and the puzzles inside are creative and challenging enough to keep everything exciting. Down the rabbit hole has to be one of my favorites, and Sam the game master was super helpful and great at guiding us when needed. My wife and I did The Menagerie first, and were immediately hooked. Ayanna was our games master, and is easily one of the best weve ever seen. She made the entire experience immersive, engaging, and fun the whole way throughout.The room itself had an amazing set design, and was decorated top to bottom in theme. Even the emergency button was decorated in theme, which added to the experience. We ended up passing, but it was explained afterwards that if you had more time left, there were bonus puzzles in a sense, giving more to do that added to the story. Extra effects like seeing your GM on a camera in a van, or seeing video footage of somebody in the room you were just in, raised the stakes even higher.We were so impressed, we even ended up doing Down the Rabbit Hole next. Another beautiful, immersive room that had you wanting to reach your goal as quickly as possible.Overall, we had an amazing time. Both rooms were suitable for just two people, and we were able to get by with just a couple of hints in total. Would definitely recommend, and well be returning to complete their third room, as well as go to their other location!

My group had a little emergency so we ended up being about 15 minutes past our booked reservation time, which translated into about 5 minutes of lost puzzle room time. Fortunately they were understanding and promptly got us started when we arrived.We did the rabbit themed room and, as a first time escapist, I thought the puzzle difficulties were perfectly tuned. We did the Down the Rabbit Hole as an online experience and had a blast. The room set up and design worked really well with the premise. The puzzles were unconventional, and wonderful. The difficulty was moderate for our group of 5, we made it out in plenty of time. Several of the puzzles took a try or two to get through because of the nuance or the set up, which made us feel smart once we figured it out. Gray was our game master and did a great job guiding us through using the online platform. The best part of the online experience, besides being able to get together with friends anywhere, was that you control a character going through the actual room, it isnt cheesy pictures that you point and click. Would recommend checking it out if youre in the mood for a magical adventure and needing to scratch the escape room itch.

This was so much fun!!! I booked The Menagerie room for my family and me, we were FBI AGENTS & wore the jackets and vest, that was so cool. We’ve been here before and did Down the Rabbit Hole and that was a lot fun for my kids and their friends. We were here yesterday at the upland location for my daughter’s 14th bday, The Menagerie was harder than we thought, we did get some of the clues, just ran out of time. I have done all of their existing escape rooms now, and I can say how great they are at the overall experience. You walk through the door and from beginning to end you feel welcome and part of a team with the game masters. They want you to win and want you to do well, but best of all, they strive for everyone to have a great time. Heres an in depth analysis for each room:Puzzlemaster: Obviously their hardest room and meant for those who have done a few rooms before in the past. Its a good challenge and its many surprises will leave you giddy even if you dont make it out.Through the Rabbit Hole: My groups favorite room and their newest one as well. Even if you dont like escape rooms, the atmosphere is so great I encourage people to spend the 30 dollars just to walk in and through. The design is one of the best Ive seen and its break away from locks keeps everyone immersed throughout the whole experience. The puzzles range from easy to challenging and is a perfect room for those who want to go with a group ranging in experience. Fun for the whole family.Sector 13: There is one part(I wont spoil) that Ive never been as afraid to do something in any escape rooms. And it was only the beginning. Throughout the room, the puzzles are some of the best. This room had the best beginning to any escape room Ive seen, and the atmosphere is well done. This room is definitely meant for those older puzzlers and I would not take the family through this adventure.

This is a great place to experience with a group of friends/family members. I was nervous at first when first starting the room but once you get into the groove of things, it becomes such a blast! 1st time at the Upland location. Wasnt sure how it would compare to San Dimas because that was a building. This is in a business complex. I wont spoil anything but it was great. In fact of the 3 rooms we have done we all felt this one had most detail. Very well done.My kids love it because there is no limit on the hints although we only use them when we are completely stuck.Will definitely go back for the other 2.

I’ve been to quite a few escape rooms like 10-ish. This one is definitely my favorite. The people there are so nice & answer your questions to the best of their abilities. I’ve done every room here, I think it’s safe to say it was money well spent! I even came here for their beta testing. You can tell when you’re going to through their rooms they put a lot of time & effort into these rooms. They’re done with passion & you can tell with each and every puzzle you solve. I would & have recommended this to all my friends. If you seek some type of mental stimulation, just need to sharpen your senses, or just want something fun to do on the weekend I would definitely recommend this!

I didnt think I would have liked doing an escape room online, but this experience proved me wrong! We just enjoyed playing Down the Rabbit Hole online. Our facilitator, Amanda, did an amazing job of leading us through the maze, giving us just enough hints to guide us to the next clue but still letting us solve the clues on our own. If you have to be quarantined, this is a great distraction and well worth your time. Thank you, Trapped! We had a blast!

Just went here to kill some time, but it ended up being a lot more fun than I expected. I think for the price, its a great value and the atmosphere of the room(s) and difficulty of the puzzles make it worth it. The rooms are some of the most professionally designed that Ive seen. In one I thought wow, this is Disneyland quality. I asked about it and sure enough, they had a Disney contractor build it! Try it, its fun!

Did the Escape room - down the rabbit hole, for my team at work. We had a blast!!!. We really liked the unlimited hints and clues (unless other escape rooms who had a limit). Although we did escape😔, but this was our first time, we’ll come back and know we will escape.

The manager is amazing - you can tell these rooms are made with love and they are in this business for the right reasons - they are passionate about escape rooms. We played two of their rooms - Down The Rabbit Hole and The Lair of the Puzzlemaster. Both rooms are very different and feature smart puzzles. They are both well themed. Down the Rabbit Hole is an Alice themed room and one of my favorites. This is a delightful room and one I would highly recommend. There is plenty of lot parking. They have a small lobby, friendly staff, but most importantly, terrific escape rooms!

Today my party of 4 completed “Menagerie” and our game master was Hugo. This was honestly one of the best (if not the best) escape rooms I’ve been to. Hugo was awesome and made the experience so much better. The actual escape room was challenging and interactive. I can’t wait to come back and attempt the other rooms!

We had a great time in The Menagerie. Its a good room for a larger group because you can break into smaller groups and work on multiple puzzles at the same time. No one in our group was left out. Everyone could find something to work on.

Down the Rabbit Hole is by far my favorite room. Great theming and puzzles. Trapped Escape Rooms has top notch service. I wish they had more rooms in Upland because I have done all of them. Came here yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday! She chose to do Down the Rabbit Hole. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our GM Jett was friendly, witty, and informative. Would definitely come here again.
