Friendly staff and your usual awesome TJ’s selection. This location’s parking lot is tight as this location is an older TJ’s. I wouldn’t recommend bringing your SUV here if you can’t help it, especially during the busy afternoons. Best time to come are after dropping off your kids at school or before 9 am. I found wide open check out lanes with refreshed and friendly staff. It’s a bit harder to dig to get items with an older expiration date.

I love Trader Joe’s. It’s usually one of my go to favorite places. This is the first time I’ve stopped at this particular Trader Joe’s, and I had to check out lady named Sara who was extremely rude unhelpful, and did not have the spirit of Trader Joe’s whatsoever. Because of her and her alone, I don’t think I’ll ever be returning to this Trader Joe’s, and it’s tainted my view of Trader Joe’s forever. I suppose these days that level of social competency is to be expected from people still wearing a mask in 2024.

Among all the TJ I have been to this is one of the smallest ones. The set up and stock is pretty much the same as all of them. The staff is friendly. Parking is the only problem. Not enough and difficult to get in or out.

One of my favorite stores in the neighborhood. The food is always fresh and delicious. Recommended to try their cheese selections, and small appetizers for fast cooking. If you like wine, than I definitely recommend to check out this store as they have an extensive selection. The prices are very good compared other stores in the area and treat the customers like neighbors and family.

One of my favorite store. The food always fresh and delicious. Recommended to try theirs cheese and they have tasty pizza, small appetizers for fast cooking. If you like wine, I recommend to check this store. The price very good compared with another stores. I like their products for hair, specially hair mask and hair oil. If you like to have a nice tan from sun try Trader Joe’s oil for it! You will definitely love it!

Trader Joe’s is like a country market, but always with something new and off the beaten track. This one has extra friendly staff, but the parking is always a struggle. One worker unlocked my cart so I could take it across the street where I had parked. That kind of service rocks!

My neighborhood TJs - walkable. Always a fan, plus the staff are nice, and unlike pretty much every other grocery, they know how to pack the bags smart. Parking sucks. The parking lot is one-way: enter from Burbank, exit via the alley in the back: otherwise accidents happen.

Trader Joes is amazing. But like almost every other trader Joes, the parking is a nightmare. Some days the line for the parking extemds into the street and causes a backup. I recommend either going very early when they first open or finding street parking and walking.

If they could only fix the parking. Theres never any parking. Other than that, the store is cleaned and maintained exceptionally well. The food quality is great! Lots of good value here. The staff is knowledgeable and on point.One suggestion I will make is that if your local to the area, and just need a quick lunch, definitely go for the prepackaged wraps and salads. One of each will run you about five to six dollars a piece. So definitely better than spending upwards of 20 to $30 for lunch at a restaurant.

I have found that other Trader Joes locations often do not have the items I need or have run out of them, but this store always seems to have everything I need. They are willing to search the back for items that are not on the shelves, which is much appreciated. TRADER JOES (TJs) is small, but tightly packed with a supermarket sized selection of fresh, frozen, dried, and caned foods. Also available are gluten free, vegan and prepared meals. The prices on TJs branded foods, are significantly lower than you would expect to pay, for similar quality, at the neighborhood chain store.This grocery store, part of a 587 national chain, is so busy restocking shelves is a continuous process.The best time to shop is early in the morning. Ive found TJs staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and will walk you the item youre after.Checkout is fast and easy, even when the store is full of customers. If required, the bagger will help move your order to your car.The Managers office is on a platform at the entrance. They listen and react when brought a problem. They do react well to compliments, too.TJs often changes, drops, or adds items. Unfortunately, if you fall in love with a product, it may not be there tomorrow.Outside, at the front of the market, is a selection of cut flower at surprisingly low prices. Plastic bags, to cover the wet cut flower ends, hang on a pole in front of the display.The refrigerated vegetable section has been expand. Vegan and gluten free products can be found throughout the store.There is a selection of vitamins and minerals, priced remarkably low, at the rear of the store, near the double doors that lead to the bathroom.The parking lot, at the front and east side of the building, is small and tight. Parking is free and theres usually a helpful employee to direct traffic. Several wheelchair accessible spaces are directly in front of the entrance.Early morning is the best shopping time. Its a standard trader joes but the parking is way worse than normal trader joes parking. the street entrance parking area is super small and cramped. there is parking further back but less convenient obviously. and the only exit from the lot is to go all the way to the back and then down a long alley to the next street

I absolutely love this location. Everyone is always so nice to me. One cashier almost made me cry one day.....just because she was nice to me. I just appreciated the kindness so much. This store is usually always fully stocked and the staff is very helpful when I cant find something. The store is very clean and organized. The products are always fresh especially the produce. Although their parking lot is small, the staff does an excellent job at getting customers through the checkout process so quickly that the place never piles up too high. Very efficient location. If I ever move from this area, I will be quite sad about not being able to spend my money at THIS store.

Definitely one of the better Trader Joe’s in the valley. We came to this one on a whim on our way home and now this is the primary one we shop at. The store is well planned out in terms of layout which (it feels) allows them to carry more products. Every time we’ve been and ready to check out there has been a wait of less than a minute to no time at all. They are well staffed and it shows. The store is very clean and the staff is super helpful and friendly. We’re happy to have this gem nearby!

I love their products, but I have purchased many food items at different Trader Joes locations whose packaging had either been torn or was not really sealed. Since I only realized it once I was about to use it, taking a trip back to the store was an inconvenience, so I wish their quality assurance was better. Also, I wish they would clealy show the expiration date on all packaged food items clearly. Though many of their products do have an expiration date, many still dont or its displayed on a part of the package where its really difficult to read.

I love Trader Joe’s, hands down. However, this particular location as THE WORST parking structure. It is super compact and pretty much one way in and one way out. Perhaps going early in the morning may resolve this issue (but I won’t be surprised if it’s the same). As far as products go, they always have everything in stock. The people who work there are always super nice and helpful. Definitely a great way to cap off the completion of your shopping trip there. Aside from the parking, I always recommend Trader Joe’s Bec they have great prices (and if you’re a vegetarian, like myself, you can find many items in this category.. slightly the same for vegans also).

This Trader Joes is very challenging to get in and out of. Entering off the main road there is at least one and sometimes two people directing traffic in the lot. Even with that direction is hard to navigate. Also, the layout of the store seems to be that they made the store fit the building. As with every Trader Joes the staff is extraordinary and there is great for variety of unique items. I do not think I will return to the store due to the access problems.

The worst experience I like shopping here but it was my first time entering there bathroom and it was the worst smell I almost vomit it smelled like poop but like something dying but beyond it was filthy no seat covers extremely disgusting I was in there for 2 seconds and when I walked out you can smell it as I was walking out I was smelling like it I walked outside and can still smell it i went for a walk to get fresh air the smell didn’t go away until minutes later as I was walking and just decided to wait until I got home I don’t recommend this store Shame on this store

Like almost all TJs locations, the only bummer is the parking, but usually the security guys do a good job directing traffic. For some reason, people are afraid to park in front of the store, so check for open spots there as you drive in.Otherwise... Its a great store, well-organized, with friendly and helpful staff.

The staff there seems friendly. The parking is horrible. The prices in comparison to Whole Foods are a much better deal. And from where I live now this place offers themes that I cant normally get. I picked up some salmon jerky thats something I cant get from home. And some Buffalo jerky. I have tried the Buffalo jerky it was good and I also got some teas that I have yet to try. The banana chips I got were also pretty tasty. Overall a nice place to have too bad we dont have one near my home.

This place is good, but the products are sometimes bad. When we came here, we got a cauliflower and some other things. However, when we came back, it seems that the cauliflower was giving off a bad smell. Another problem is the parking lot. The place can be busy, but sometimes there are drivers who turn in the wrong direction. There were no people to help guide the drivers in the right way. If you want to come and get the things that you need, I would suggest to go somewhere else.

Well, its not horrible.Depending on what you buy will determine if this is the place for you.According to my math, the standard fresh products I try to buy average about 40-60% in-stock rate. Produce is lacking and protien (dairy, meats, cheese) are hit or miss, usually picked over.Im not going to complain about parking or long lines because those two pain points are the hallmarks of every Trader Joes.If you mostly buy processed or frozen foods, this place is definitely for you.

I really love this store cause its close and they have a lot of stuff but it is a very small building. At a busy time its definitely frustrating to try to get past people so if you can avoid the rush hours (kinda like driving in LA). Very difficult lot to get into and out of given its proximity to speeding cars on Balboa Boulevard. Not worth the visit. I now do Sprouts on zelzah and Chatsworth instead. Have everything I need plenty of parking, go between 8 and 10 in the morning and there is absolutely no traffic

I love the Trader Joes in Encino. Having a Trader Joes on White Oak Ave. & Burbank Blvd. is very convenient. It isnt the biggest Trader Joes location although it is by far the best location, carrying all the best products that all the other locations carry while not carrying the lower quality products. I prefer quality products over a large quantity of products any day of the year. The lines move fast youre in & out very quickly & finding your items is hassle free with the convenience of a smaller store so you dont have to look as much to find whatever it is you are looking for. They are well staffed & are all quick on their feet from my experience.

While some of the items are quite good and not overpriced there are two main flaws I encountered. 1. The parking lot is awful.. tight parking spaces and #2. Difficult and rude employees, one in particular is Eustolia. This location is the classic older style, small store with an even smaller parking lot. As far as the store and employees go I give this high marks as they do a lot with what they have and are always helpful. I am removing one star for its horrible parking. This is not really their fault per se, but it does indeed dampen the shopping experience. The lot is small and the ways to get into it our almost always congested. Great store with stressful parking potentially.

3 weeks ago I was harrased by an employee in the parking lot of this location. When I managed to get away to speak to his supervisors he followed me all the way into the store screaming profanities at me. He then resumed screaming profanities at me in front of a busy store full of people and management. Trader Joes has not reached out to me since the traumatic incident. Beware this disgruntled unstable employee is still employed at Trader Joes ENCINO. I guess it wasnt a big deal to them that their employee that they are responsible for harrased a long time customer. BEWARE when visiting this location! I will not be returning to this chain although it was my go to market. They do not have the customers best interest in mind and have not lifted a finger to fix the damages to my car caused by their unhinged employee or bring me peace of mind that this will not happen again.

Ok, so let me preface this review by declaring that Trader Joes is a 5-star establishment, through and through. The parking situation at this location, on the other hand? It stresses me the heck out! Considering how other businesses are handling Covid-19 restrictions. I have to say that I felt that Trader Joes was really on top of their game. I could see them clean and disinfect the carts. They had 6ft apart and state guidelines posted all over the place and they made sure to restrict the amount of people in the store. Didnt mind the wait as it moved pretty quickly. One of the oldest Trader Joes stores in the West Valley. It is also one of Trader Joes smallest locations with a minimal amount of parking located at one of the busiest intersections in the West Valley, White Oak and Burbank Blvd, adjacent to the White Oak on/off ramps to the Ventura Freeway (101 Frwy). These same location issues that make it a difficult location to enter, exit and find parking, are all also the same reasons that make this a very convenient location for Trader Joes shoppers. All, except for its size. As one of Trader Joes smallest locations, this store is always crowded, therefore not a good shopping experience if you wish to maintain 6 Covid-19 distancing. This locations size also means they carry fewer of the products frequent customers to Trader Joes larger locations are accustomed to finding. Despite these drawbacks, this locations small size rarely leads to longer waits to check out. My last visit to this location, I had no wait to check out. With all registers working and several baggers to assist cashiers, I was checked out, paid, receipt in hand and put the door faster than at any major grocery store and faster than many of the larger Trader Joes locations. The management staff here recognize the limitations of there small location and while they cant do anything about this for customers shopping, they make up for their lack in size and product limitations with very positive, fast and friendly checkout experience and personnel. This makes a 3 star shopping experience into a 4.

This is not the largest Trader Joes on the planet (you could fit three stores this size into TJs Woodland Hill), but it is an extraordinarily nice and friendly one. I am a regular customer at Trader Joes. I visited this location for the first time this morning. The store is very small, the parking lot does not fit enough cars and is super busy. At the cash register I was helped by a young hispanic girl, who seemed to be having a terrible hangover. She was extremely unprofessional and rude. The tone of her voice was sarcastic. She behaved as if she owned the store. After such terrible service I asked the manager for help and address the conflicting attitude of the store employee. Nothing happened. I believe that the management could do a better job in hiring the right people to work. Employees are the face of the Trader Joes. I will prefer to go to WHOLE FOODS and have a smily wonderful person helping me. I do not recommend anybody to go to this Trader Joes location. I will tell all my friends about this experience.

I was very hurt and upset by what an assistant manager said to me when I came to return 2 unopened boxes of frozen pizza. I am a regular shopper at this TJs (encino, CA), I go about 3-4 times per week!! And I rarely ever return. Helpful & friendly team members here. This is a smaller TJs so it can be a challenge to find what you need, if they have it. However, they usually have the basic necessities!Parking is the issue... Not sure what else to say. If you live in the area walk lol.

Decent vegan selections, reasonable pricing, helpful staff, good products and selection. NIGHTMARE PARKING!!! ALWAYS AN ISSUE! If you live close, walk if not you may want to choose another location.

Great help, been here at their busiest hours and they still do a great job getting customers through. Peak hours are a bit hectic as expected and parking can be a pain but overall a good location

No friendly at all. I observed some white ladies asking for stuff and this white guy showing them where the item was. I asked and he pointed to an aisle. 😥. On my way out, cars were honking at this car ( did not what was going on). Security guy ( black big built man) saying he did not want anybody to move the car. (Puzzled ?).There comes a white young woman done shopping, at low pace getting in this car that was parked right in the of the lane toward the exit. As soon as this car left, traffic in the parking lot started moving.Security guy said, he will not work more than what he is getting pay for. I have NOT BEEN THERE SEEN. I wish there could be a delivery service, since I love the products. I am AFRAID to go back.
