The one thing I can count on while visiting any Tractor Supply Company store is the consistency of how the general public is treated. From being greeted when coming into the store; being asked if I need help; the suggestion that may be offered, to taking things to hold at the register.This company has displayed excellent customer service across the board. Product quality and variety in goods never cease to amaze me.

We went to Tractor Supply because - looking online - it was pretty clear that they had a wide selection of boots in my size. We got there, and the boot section was almost empty. There were only three boots in my size (not three types, three boots total), not an uncommon 9.5M. None were the type I needed. Like the size, it was not an uncommon style, an 8 or 9 inch work boot. I wasnt even that particular about whether it had a steel toe.While there, just to avoid leaving empty handed, we looked for wild bird seed. The selection wasnt bad if youre willing to pay a lot. The fertilizer selection was really weak. We ended up buying black oil sunflower seeds for the birds at about the same price we would have paid at our small local feed store in Colfax and a bag of 16-16-16 fertilizer (it might have been 15-15-15) for about 10% less than we would have paid at Home Depot.The lighting in the place was dreary, but thats okay with me because we need to curtail our use of electricity. Unfortunately, the employees seemed similarly dull, like they were working for a company (or maybe just a location) that was going out of business.We had high hopes given what we saw online but were sorely disappointed.

The people here are so nice, helped me to find exactly what I need and even helped me to get the most discount from their programs. Debbie at the store, and Wyatt doing the delivery gave exceptional service. I bought two dog kennels, found out it couldnt fit in my SUV and they scheduled the delivery right to my door. Fantastic! No hassle and I felt right at home. If Tractor Supply sells it, then thats where I am buying it from here on out. Thanks for a return to the way things used to be!

This is a big corporate Giant store that cant manage itself. Thats why they tell you to call customer solutions! Please support the local Mom and Pop stores in your area. Not a huge giant like this that has a catch phrase thank you for your input, will contact our team. LOL

The staff there was wonderful (much better than home depot) I was helped and gave great suggestions. I didnt feel intimidated like I do at home depot. They had everything (1st time in the store) animal food, clothing, boots, fencing supplies, little live cute chickens and more. I will shop there from now on rather than HD. Service was awesome!

Very helpful staff. Extremely knowledgeable and skilled at loading. Picking up fencing was a breeze. On my last visit, there was a manager micromanaging a newer employee. Slowed down the entire pickup. Wanted to make sure that all of the details of my order were relayed to the yard before i could go back there. The forklift drivers are required to read my order before loading. Ive only seen this manager once, but still excellent service otherwise.

Cheap/inexpensive products. You get what you pay for though. Their workers are definitely lower paid and it shows, they dont know much about their products, unless youre lucky enough to catch the manager around. Its not their fault the company wont invest in its workforce. If you know what youre looking for youll find the best prices on fencing and chicken feed in the area here though.

We love TS. We frequent both the Placerville and Auburn locations. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The Pville location is a kick. Sean is always super helpful and willing to help with anything we need. I love the variety of gifts, cards and even wrapping paper. Its always a fun time.(Almost half our Christmas gifts came from TS this year.) They truly have something for everyone. And I love their Ridgeline Flannels.

Tractor supply has a pretty good selection of stuff and the prices are not bad especially in comparison with a bigger chain like Home Depot. The employees at least a handful of them have not been helpful or are to busy and forget what I needed. This has happened multiple times and could just be a staffing issue. Go there when they have the baby ducks and chickens best time to be there.

Very nice young man helped us find the right sized tire for our golf cart. It turned out to be a tad more than other places so we decided to not get it after all and after all the work we put the poor guy through he was patient with us and I felt really bad we didnt get the tire for that reason. He understood though. I will definitely come to this store again based on customer service alone.

This review is not based on a staff member or particular product, but on the horribly unreliable website. I have tried ordering the same product 4 times for curbside pickup in the past month or so that the website SAYS in stock available for curbside pickup. Each time I receive an email about an hour later simply cancelling my order. No explanation, just cancelled. I called the store each time, with a friendly staff member telling me its out of stock. Today I was told its been backordered for weeks. Well, the website says in stock available for pickup. Extremely frustrating. Im new to the area, and actually LOVE shopping in the store, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. But dang, update the website!

County Line chainsaw bars/chains/bar oil/2cycle oil & Traveler motor oil/hydraulic fluid/power steering fluid etc. Both are TSC brands & much cheaper than the name brands. Employees are always happy to help you find anything your looking for or to help you get your merchandise into your vehicle.

I was shopping and found many items without prices. They were fully staff on the floor. 1 cashier. 3 of the floor people were mid age and a old guy. They were hiding from customers and talking. One even walked into a pole lol. When I asked for help out. Took a long time. She called several times. The old guy was grumpy who finally came out. And angry he had to go outside. When I was watching, looking for help, the cashier I told her my experience. She told me all 3 were managers.What a shame

THIS is the store to go for all things farm-related. I absolutely love this place and the wide variety of products they sell. It is practically a one-stop shop for anything you may need for your land, property, farm or animals.They also carry clothing, hats, and shoes/boots of all kinds; my husband loves their short-sleeved, button-down plaid shirts. ;)The staff is very friendly. I really like the tractor Supplys layout and what they have to offer.... however at this particular location I have waited in line more times for an extended period of time then I would like. And when are is only one or two people in line friendly staff is friendly with everybody but there is no Im just here to buy dog food real quick. Its not a place to run in and grab something I would say its a mission to go to this place theres nothing wrong with the service and everything just dont be in a hurry if you just need a part or something go to a parts store this is a shopping place at least at this location I havent tried the new store in Grass Valley maybe its better

Yesterday I went into your store to buy 100lbs of birdseed. I looked around for someone to help me load it on my cart. After looking and waiting I landoaded it myself. I get to the counter and paid and again asked for help out. The girl called for help twice and no one ever came. I loaded it again. I feel so sorry for the girls up front as they get no backing but have to face the customer.Next time I will go to Echo Valley Ranch where they automatically ask you what vehicle youre driving so they can load it for you!

Terrible customer service today! I was in four days ago and had great service from a young man out in loading. He explained how we might be able to load 2 16 ft X 5ft horse fence panels in our short bedded Toyota Tundra. When we went in today I walked up to a register to pay for our 2 panels ($180 + tax). The clerk had no other customers but was chatting with a customer in the self check out lane. The clerk ignored me for the longest time, used some choice swear words as she was chatting with the other customer, finally turned to help me with her mask below her nose and her face around the plexiglass barrier. I had to ask her to step back behind the barrier. Once we completed our transaction, she told me she had called to the back to let the loaders know we would be coming around. We parked next to the fence panels. No one came to help us. I walked to the back of the building to find 2 men loading 5 ft metal polls on a lift (a one person job) and was ignored. I finally said excuse me and explained that we were told that there would be help. The young man rather curtly told me they would get to me when they were done with the loading they were doing. I walked back to our truck. He did come to us quickly (the older guy probably told him to) and proceeded to ignore the loading explanation I tried to give him from the very helpful young man several days before. After numerous tries he finally suggested we try the way I had been saying all along. Pretty darn sure he ignored me because I was a woman!

Tractor Supply is it nice store if you have livestock or other Ranch and farm related needs. They also have clothes shoes and other heavy duty items that can be used on and around the ranch. Their prices are not bad but theyre not great I went wait for the add and buy items when theyre on sale they do not offer military or veteran discounts. I purchased a zero turn cub cadet lawn mower there a few years ago and its still running perfectly.

Quite a bit different than say, a true value or Ace hardware.I have had good luck here for things like welding supplies, trailer supplies like hitch adapters and plugs, sandblasting stuff, etc.Their oil selection was not great, but then again I would never go there soley to purchase that.Overall, feels more like a country living lawn & garden store than a home improvement or hardware store.Nothing specific I can think of that they would have, that I wouldnt have a better selection of at a more purpose specific store.

Restrooms were disgusting. Not very friendly staff. Selection was very small. Needs a better layout. The tools are very cramped in the middle when they should be more on the outside walls or have there own aisles so they can be displayed a little better. Very small to no work boot selection, everything is online. Work boots would be a way better seller then just regular cowboy boots. Cause guys that are in construction like myself always look at them when were at those types of stores. Looking for good deals and brands like timberland, carhartt, justin, wolverine etc. We also like to be able to try them since your gonna be stuck in them all day. If we have to go look online to see what you have without even trying them on, most likely were just gonna go somewhere else. Just my personal opinion.

The Sunday night manager should be ASHAMED of himself. We needed fencing for a baby goat whos pen was destroyed during evacuations from the River fire. The manager REFUSED to sell them to us claiming no one could load them because there was only 2 people working. We offered to load them ourselves as we noticed the panels were UNLOCKED and he argued stating it was locked and no one was going to let us buy them. Will never support this location again!!

This is a very disappointing tractor supply store. The nursery stock in the parking lot is dried out and mostly dead. They rarely have what I go in for. Its a shame because it is the closest store to my house. When I lived in Reno I used to drive all the way to Carson City just to go to Tractor Supply . Now I have to drive past them just to go to home depot to get what I need.
