We made an appointment to look at a 2024 Toyota Tacoma at Toyota of Selma. We were greeted with a smile and offered to take the vehicle for a test drive. There was never any pressure to purchase, financing, or to purchase insurance. Jimmy Mendoza was very nice and knowledgeable. Explained everything great. Definitely recommend him!Edit: I am a little disappointed on the cleanliness of the car once it was released to me. The car was washed, but there were dry water marks on each side of the mirror and on the back of the car. It seemed like they let the car to air dry and/or rushed to dry it. I noticed there were some dusty/dirty spots on the car when I test drove it and they were still there afterwards. Again, overall experience was great, but I would appreciated a little more effort on the cleaning and “detailing” of the car.

5 stars for Mert and Silvano! They were amazing. They made sure I got what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable with deal before agreeing.Only reason I gave 4 stars overall was my truck was not filled with gas. I turned in my trade with a full tank of gas and I got 1/4 tank of gas!! Also, truck wasn’t cleaned out properly inside. It may sound petty, but I’ve never had to clean my cars inside and fill them up with gas before.

Update: Be cautious when buying a car from this dealer. Ensure you ask them to explain all charges before signing any documents and request hard copies. I received charges for items I intentionally didnt need. Also, I was told that the extended warranty is only $15 a month, but it was cost way more than that. It took multiple attempts to resolve issues with the dealer since the finance department wouldnt take calls. Additionally, do not pay anything over the MSRP; you can find the same model at other dealerships without additional charges.Ask for Sergio and Martin Took it before the Black Friday special.

Went in looking for a Camry, was told I’d get a soft pull, confirmed 3 times with the salesman that it was a soft pull, they went ahead and did a hard pull. I knew my credit so didn’t want a hard pull, just wanted to see what “deals” they had. They come off as nice, but are willing to do anything to get a sale. They assume everyone is ignorant. Will be taking our business else where. We constantly need new trucks for our supervisors, could’ve brought them more business. Will no longer recommend them to anyone and will have people avoid this place. Thank you.

I dealt with the main manager of the sales department he was awesome it was almost like he read my mind on my offer for the vehicle I bought. I got to meet the lady that does the commercials for them and she is prettier in person than on TV. Overall everybody was overly courteous and respectful. Now the finance guy promised I would get an email its been day two and I still have not received it. Terrible buying experience. I called to ask about inventory on a RAV4 their website showed they had in stock and was ready to buy that week. Emailed Sandra and never heard back so called their sales line. Spoke to Jimmy initially who was nice and friendly and took a video of the car for me. Then he passed me onto Rick who asked me the same questions. I asked for pricing and availability if I could come in on Saturday(today was Tuesday). Rick passed me off then to Victor who called me once asked me what I wanted then said hed get back to me and then blew me off. Never received any pricing or any further contact. I was ready to buy but ended up going to Toyota Clovis where I wasnt passed around to 3 different people. Seems like Selma doesnt even want you to buy from them.

I had one of the worst experiences ever going into a dealership. The customer service was horrible, they did nothing to negotiate on a used truck I was interested in nor ( aside from dropping the price $1,000). Unfortunately, I found out the hard way after making the purchase and looking up the price later with the VIN number.* KARR Alarm system : this is an optional add-on yet the dealership will try to tell you that it is part of the included price as if it is required, which means you could simply refuse to pay for it. Check your contract after they hand it to you with a USB stick and demand they print it out on paper, you will clearly see its an optional add-on.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE!They showed me a fake carfax, the salesmen lied to my face, they wouldn’t let me test drive the vehicle above 35 mph. When I got the car they only gave me half a tank of gas as well! I got Manipulated by the general manager Jeff and lied to my face then gaslit. Good thing I Recorded every conversation with him because I didn’t trust him. There were multiple issues with the car that he told me we’re going to be fixed, which were not done then when brought to his attention he said I never said that. I asked if he wanted me to play the recording for him to which then he told me was illegal then quickly turned around and said you can record me all you want I don’t care. the list of items that was wrong with the car never changed, it was the same five items every time. The main item was the fact that the transmission was slipping, kept telling me they did 163 point inspection on the vehicle and that was OK. in no way would that car have gone out there with messed up rotors that needed to be shaved down, a battery that was not charging correctly, a key fob that did not work for the car, the coolant sensor immediately started going off, also the service light kept coming on. They kept telling me that they can do anything that the Mercedes-Benz dealer can do which was a lie I offered for him to cancel the deal until all of these items were fixed on the vehicle and then I would sign for it. Instead he locked me into the contract by paying for a 20 day insurance binder on the car therefore now I’m locked in and have no other choice. After that was when he told me the car is now my problem and I need to take it up with warranty. I went to the store almost every day for two weeks straight asking for the problems on the car to be fixed, as well as the contract for my vehicle that they kept refusing to give me . This car was supposed to be my graduation present I only drove it for six days, and then left it there at the dealership to get problems fixed that never got fixed. I ended up canceling the entire deal with them and getting my deposit back. I have never dealt with a business so unprofessional, as well as illegal acts being committed.Also when I asked to speak to the person above Jeff he refused to give me that phone number and said he will call him himself and have him call me. Which was not going to work with me considering how much this man has already manipulated and lied to me, so I said no I would like his phone number and I will call him myself. He refused to give me that phone number and I never got a call from the owner or manager. Overall this place should be sued for fraud, illegal acts, as well as false advertising. I went here because they were supposed to be a reputable car dealership, the more I talk about this car dealership to other people the more I’m hearing the same stories about how they manipulate and lie to people . Do not buy from this company and do not go to any Fahrney dealer.The ONLY reason there is a 1 star instead of zero, is because Chris and his boss in the service department were the most honest and communicative people in that entire establishment. If you need service done then you’re good to go deal with Chris, anything else I would say stay far away

They told me to bring in my truck anytime for service and then I get there and they tell me they’re not gonna work on it because it’s lunch time?! They didn’t even want to hold onto it. They just told me to leave and come back in an hour. Very unprofessional. They couldve at least taken my keys and worked on it later. I can’t believe not one person wanted to help me. What kind of place has everyone unavailable at the same time. I’m sure if I wanted to buy a car during lunch they would happily help me. But I guess service appointments don’t make them money so they couldn’t care less.

Interesting how on my bad review I got Victim blamed. Like I said Previously in my last horrible review I stated “ I have video and audio proof of how slimy and sketchy this place is.” Since the “owner” stated I “couldn’t be please with the work they’ve done”. Funny how when I have Solid evidence nobody wants to see it which I will HAPPILY provide. The service department manager even told me to my face that the work Required on this vehicle needed to go to Mercedes Benz and they refused. They can’t even reset the oil change light. 😅As for my previous review, the victim blaming definitely sums up that they can’t even accept responsibility for their filthy actions. I’ve spoken to multiple people who have all had the same issues.Also make sure to check all the 1 star ratings on Yelp. Google doesn’t show everything. ☺️

Careful financing a vehicle, they changed my car payment amount and lied about where I worked on my loan application. Did not find this out until bank contacted me and wanted to confirm where I worked and how much my payments were. My entire car buying process here was annoying and stressful stay away from Fahrney automotive. Would not buy from here again and would advise others to go elsewhere

Be careful if you go here and buy a used car. I got into a car accident and when I took my Tacoma in for the repair they couldnt work on it because it was wrecked already. I took it to another shop and I got it fixed. So just be aware of your purchases. Get the car fax report!
