We stayed here because its close to the pediatric clinic my wife and I had to take my little one. The room initially was nice. But after looking around for a few minutes there were some issues.The pullout bed was absolutely terrible. My 6 year old couldnt sleep on it because the bars were hurting him.The actual bed was extremely uncomfortable. I sat on the bed and sunk in a few inches in some spots and deeper in others making it very awkward. The pillows were hard and rough making for a multi waking up hurting in your neck and back kind of night.The window, 1st floor room, that opened to do a dirt path behind the hotel didnt lock and could easily be pushed open from the outside making safety a concern.

I was skeptical of this hotel because of the bad reviews, but we had a great experience! Complimentary nuts and mimosas upon arrival, clean suite, delicious breakfast and AC working good. Can’t ask for anything more! Super quiet as we didn’t hear anyone near us.

Someone before me burnt popcorn in the microwave, room stinks.They have a sign on the front desk offering points for a 9 or 10 review.Had do not disturb sign on my door, they entered my room to remind me to review the hotel.Stay away.

Would rate in 0 stars if I could. Wanted to stay here because of how close the location was to family. I was trying to enjoy a great vacation and instead of a queen sized bed as we promised we got a full sized bed. When asked about the bed they insisted that the bed was queen sized even after we measured it. Then we found cockroaches and trash in the foldout bed. Calling costumer service did not help at all. No one was willing to help us and after paying over one grand this is disgusting. Super disappointing from Marriott never coming here again.

This property is bribing guests (in violation of Marriott brand rules) for a good review.Please dont stay here as Sunnyvale TownePlace would rather buy customer reviews than invest that effort into a better experience for guests.

The location of the hotel is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed at this property several times but the last visit over the weekend, the hotel has deteriorated a bit.No quarters available for laundry. Their water dispenser in the gym and outside did not work. Their workman could not replace i the dispenser and we were not able to get drinking water except the small bottles given at the front desk.Please try to have these things fixed.

Love the full kitchen in the suite, just right for a few days stay. Convenient location with bus-stop right out front, eateries & supermarket across the road.Breakfast fare could be better, but adequate. Styrofoam plates & bowls are not acceptable - disappointed in this.

This is definitely one of the WORST Marriott properties Ive stayed in and Ive been a traveling consultant for almost 20 years. The rooms are well past their prime. The bathroom now that theyve moved to huge tubs to have the shampoo and conditioner simply in the bathtub not even hung up. The kitchen area looks like a 1980s era kitchen. And the TV the one thing that should work doesnt. No streaming, my extra fast wifi for being a lifetime gold member never worked. The noise cancelling is atrocious. I would have thought this place to be a Drury motel if I didnt see the bill.The breakfast is open from 6-9 but closes at like 7 if youre lucky.

Im surprised at the quality at this Marriott chain hotel, but then again I got what I paid for. The room was ok, the curtains were torn, the front door lock wouldnt function properly, the microwave was really off (it took 5 minutes to make popcorn). The service was ok as well, but what bothered me the most was their breakfast service and the never-stocked items in the purchase area/ store. The breakfast always was packed up and put away 30-45 minutes earlier than what the front desk stated. I stayed for an entire week and learned it would be best to walk across the street to Safeway and get my breakfast fix from there or their in-store Starbucks. Not sure if Ill be going back to this location.I forgot to add that only 5 channels on both TVs worked, none of which were kid focused (Dis, nick, CN).

Amazing customer service. There was an issue with the billing aspect of my stay (I wont dive into specifics as they are not relevant) and the management went above and beyond to help me resolve the issue. I truly felt that they were genuinely hearing me out and acted with compassion and empathy. Its easy for individual locations of a large company such as Marriott to sweep these things under the rug, but this hotel was an example of amazing hospitality and service that goes beyond the general policy of their corporate overlords. I am always a fan of places that treat you as a person/guest and not a customer and having stayed hundreds of nights at Marriott hotels, I can confidently say I will be staying here again for personal or business travel.
