They have discount wine tastings for about any cash donation. One girl literally gave coins. But i at least did $5. The guy was very knowledgeable on the types ofWine available. Huge store. They have pretty much everything even canadian ice wine. Sign up to use their app for weekly coupons.

Online it shows they have a product available in store but when you show up it is a big fat lie. The manager was no help and gave excuses that they do receive shipments but of limited quantity. If you do not have the product do not advertise online that you do, update your website to reflect out of stock, its that simple.

This place was awesome as it was the first time going to this store as I was looking for a particular alcohol which they had! And all I can say was they had every type and size of alcohol you can imagine from beer to whiskey to vodka and wine. That also had the mixers and anything you could think of to make drinks and be your own bartender! I will definitely be back again as they sell a particular alcohol bottle that I like!

This store is huge and has an amazing selection! The staff are so nice and knowledgeable. I was putting together a gift basket and needed help picking vodka and a Bloody Mary mix for a friend that was self isolating (out of an abundance of caution). I picked Sobieski vodka, the rye gives a nice bite that holds up against the Bloody Mary mix. And Bloody Gerry because it’s local and it’s the staff’s favorite mix. I was in and out with pickled toppings and everything I needed for a great gift basket. And I appreciate that everyone was wearing masks and distancing.

Great selection of wines, beers and spirits. The store is set up with inviting, clean and well-organized displays. If you like to peruse various wine options, this is your place. Aisles are set up with different categories of wine, Cabernet, Pinot Noir, etc. They also have wine and beer tasting events. They also have an extensive selection of keg beers, bottled beers and spirits. The store is efficiently laid out and the staff is courteous and helpful.

While staying in Palm Desert we decided to attend a seminar at the Palm Desert Total Wine. We were so happy we did. Beautiful training room with huge screen TV used for multimedia Powerpoint presentation. Excellent catered platter of goodies. Knowledge instructors also. All in all we had a great time and for only $20.00. If youre a wine lover you should attend one of their seminars.

Great international wine selection! Much improved aisle service. Cigar humidor still not open, probably thanks to red tape after several months. If you dig, and use the App Vivino you can find some great deals. Organic, sustainable wine selection is poor. They do classes. Wish there were more, more frequent classes by Master Sommeliers. They have a wine tasting bar, but it always looks like its closed and you just stand there at an empty bar. Very mysterious as to how this works. Beer tasting bar has sign over it for precuse tasting times. Cashiers always friendly. When I go in there I get a sore throat, 3x. I think the hvac filters are dirty.

One of a few place worthy of me breaking my review drought (what you think I do this for, to push a beater Rav-4?). Here’s a short & sweet recap of this magical place.M A S S I V E selection, borderline decision paralysis. Everything and anything alcohol related you can think of; vodka, wine, beer, cognac, gin, whiskey, etc. Prices are fair, bathrooms were clean (are there even bathrooms in Idaho liquor stores?). Different sections of the store (wine, hard liquor, beer, and even those little stocking stuffer fun size sample bottles) were neatly and logically laid out. I even believe there is a dedicated cigar shop inside as well.Customer service was great IMO, a gentleman recommended me some local wine right in my massive budget of $12, and it was FANTASTIC (Ancient Roots Dark Red Blend or as I called it “Ancient Aliens”).Overall, this place is STRONG 5. I could’ve spent all day here. It was almost painful leaving after about an hour of just walking around and wanting so many things. I will miss this place, although my bank account and liver will not.Seriously, huge selection, great prices, no complaints. I’d consider this THE place in this area for anything alcohol related.

Wine and liquor prices are competitive but beer seemed a bit over priced. This could be a California tax or market thing and not their fault. As a Canadian I am used to paying less for beer in the US, so this struck me as odd. Still, a great place though and I was very happy to find a good brand of pisco at a reasonable price!

My favorite wine store in all the United States. The selection is very diverse, covering vintages from around the world. They also have remarkably competitive prices, better than almost everywhere. This place may seem daunting for the uninitiated, however the staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. You want vodka, whiskey or gin? They have ALL kinds of spirits, beers, and wines. Sometimes they will not have something from a particular winery because the winery is too small and cannot provide adequate volume of stock for the store. This store also has accessories (ice molds, stemless wine glasses, etc.) as well as non-alcoholic beverages and mixers. They do have snack food too. Kegs and refergerated beer are available as well as a very elegant-looking tasting room!

Racist/prejudice place drove 20 miles came in to buy a special whisky and the manager on duty denied the sale because my son didn’t have his ID with him gave me attitude saying “you didn’t see the sign at the door?”the doors were all open when I walked in, even though I told him it was for me. This is perhaps the best place to buy booze in the area. First of all the store is massive! It’s wonderfully organized, clean and the people that work their are friendly helpful and knowledgeable; which is great for me because I’m not well versed in the booze arts. This is the spot I go to to grab a bottle of Green Spot and maybe try something new! Aside from the store their app is great and curbside pick up is a breeze! If you’re looking for alcohol go here! A huge store with an amazing selection of wines and liquors.We were impressed, also, with the staff members who seemed very knowledgeable (especially the lady doing the wine tasting), and so willing to be of help!The prices here are also very competitive compared to other wine stores. Most wine or liquor prices will be lower than you would expect, and they also have a huge inventory. This place is amazing. There are so many choices and everything is displayed and organized well. The prices range from reasonable to very high, but overall I think you can get some pretty good deals, compared to alcohol at traditional grocery stores (with the exception of Trader Joes, where you can still get much better deals on a lot of the same items). Most items are sold at reduced prices when purchased by the case. It is the perfect place to find foreign spirits and unusual ingredients for cocktails. Will definitely go again!

Racially profiled! I could not believe how the cashier older gentleman with white hair was really rude to me but the women in back of me he talked to them in a totally different tone of voice and even greeted them. I understand my skin complexion is not the Caucasian complex he prefers but treat people equally. Not only that issue but the store employees following my every move was really weird for me being a paying customer. I buy in Nevada, and in Palm Desert CA, where Rhonda is the manager. I placed an order on the Palm Desert website, and didnt do it correctly. Total wine and more has been my go to for quite some time now, while Bevmo and other liquor stores near by in Palm Springs are still good but really, really low in stock on premium wine and liquor. A couple of times had to drive to Palm Desert to get premium like the good old Dom P. this afternoon, not only was in stock (unlike other places) they did also recommend a couple other champagnes equally matching this particular bottle ( Ill be sure to try them next time ), they are efficient, stocked, knowledgeable and seem eager to help great place for your holiday weekend needs. Check the beers they have some pretty great stuff too specially if you are looking for craft.

I felt badly for interrupting Gabe, while he was stocking an isle but he was more than happy to assist me. I wanted a recommendation for some bedget Pinot Noir that was still great tasting and he not only gave me two that we all thoroughly enjoyed...he also provided me and an employee some cool history about wine and Pinot. The customer service provided by Gabe was second to none and everyone else was great too. A younger employee came over and listened in to Gabes historical insights for his knowledge and my checker was pleasant. I went back for a refill of my favorite of the two before I left town. Ill help you out by letting you know to leave your credit card in the machine a few moments after it says to remove your card or itll not work and you will have to do it again, something is off with that system but leaving it in for 3 additional seconds allows it to properly go through. 🧐😉In closing...thank you Gabe for the fine recommendations and I appreciate the conversation and insight in to wine history. Some of the people working at this place need to go back to some kind of class to teach them manners and brush up their customer service skills. Went in with my husband and friend to pick-up some bottles that we have been wanting to get for a while. I sometimes forget my wallet but I wasnt worried since I wasnt the one buying the liquor. The cashier asked for all of our IDs to buy the liquor which was a surprise to me because we have been there many times before and I have never been asked to provide my ID if I am not buying. I personally think it is silly and I understand if the store has a policy about selling liquor if not EVERYONE has ID on themselves but a couple of things were not necessary from the employees to do... If he would have politely explained why we were not allowed to buy liquor.. Thats fine, I would have understood and returned later. In the end, they belittled us, made us feel unwelcome and stupid. After I told the cashier I didnt have my ID she rudely kept asking me to somehow produce ID that clearly.. I did not have. She then proceeded to call a manager over to the check stand.. If you have no intention to sell to us.. Why call a manager over and make us feel even more stupid?! Manager was not helpful at all... Quickly looked away and said the sale is not happening. You swear like we are going to rip your precious store off. He could have been polite or even offered to hold the order until I could go get my ID. He chose to be rude and walk off instead of acting like a responsible, polite or even experienced manager. We took our business elsewhere. Unless these people learn to treat customers with dignity and respect.. We (and our friends) will not be returning. Theres always Bevmo or even online ordering... Anywhere is better than dealing with rude employees at this place.

Always hard to find what you are looking for at Total Wines. The Palm Desert location seemed to be dealing with getting ready for the seasonal population explosion of snow birds would come to Palm Springs for the winter. The store was staffed with newbies and they stock of spirits was separated allover the place. The manager was trying hard..I did like his approach to talking to each employee as he was leaving the store for the day....nice touch. Still the grocery stories had better pricing.

Worst experience at a liquor store Ive ever had. The selection is great, thats true, but the employees are terrible. And they have an INSANE rule that says that if Anyone in your party doesnt have their ID on then, then NO ONE can purchase alcohol. They do NOT tell you this when you walk in. They enforce it, but they do not explain it. I will go out of my way to never shop here again, and will be encouraging everyone I know to shop elsewhere. Im 32 years old, my husband (who forgot his wallet) is 31. He walked out to get the car while I tried to buy $250 of booze. No deal. They said because he had walked around the store with me he had to show ID too. I have no idea how they retain customers with this policy. Ill never come here again.

I came in looking for a bottle of Chambord. A young man, Saul, said that their stock was out, but he recommended another brand, Baron, which he highly recommended. It was less expensive, but he said he actually preferred it. I bought a bottle and tried it when I got home. I actually had a sample bottle of Chambord, and I actually enjoyed the Baron brand more. We went to total wine with one mission, we desired to take our family of wine snobs down a peg or two. You see, the Infantino family, like many others, is full of proud and defiant individuals, myself included. So when my father claimed that he could tell the price of a bottle of wine to within 10$ just by tasting it, I knew what I had to do. With the help of an extremely helpful total wine employee named Maurice, we gathered 3 reds and 3 whites, designed to confuse and distract. Suffice to say, that night was a hilarious night that will surely go down in the family history. Thanks Maurice!

Best wine/beer/liquor shop in the Coachella Valley. Plenty of stock and reasonable prices. Mini bottles are available if you want to try something before investing in an full bottle. The wine selection is premier and there are plenty of beers to choose from including craft beers and single bottles. A humidor is in-store with a modest but decent selection of cigars (Rocky Patels are always a good choice). There are also plenty of mixers, snacks, serving utensils available. Tastings are available throughout the week. The store is clean and the staff is helpful.
