Today is June 4, 2024. I went to this total wine place for the first time. The people that work there are very nice very kind very generous most definitely amazing customer service I called and talked to my guy Paul asking For some questions about items in his storage and he helped me out give me 110% of his time is understanding and welcoming. Me to the store to the store at any time and the other employees were really nice to me as well highly recommended.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I will be back guaranteed👍🏼

Not quite the wine selection I was expecting. The back half of the store looked liked a combination CVS/grocery store. Also becoming a member requires too much private information to be worth the discount.

Very nice store! So many varieties of wine. I came here to look around & used their restroom. The restroom has a sensor light and will cut off after a while. My first time using their toilets was terrifying lol I’m afraid of the dark. Anyway, I highly recommend.

I recently went to Total Wine & More and it was amazing! They had a huge selection of wines, beers, and spirits from all over the world. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making recommendations and answering all my questions. The prices were really good too, great for parties or special occasions. The store was clean and easy to navigate, so I found everything I needed without any trouble. I cant wait to go back again!

You will spend hours in here. You will find some of the hard to find items. I found great gift giving items. The associates in the store are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. There is also a small wine tasting area. Great items for mixing cocktails and items for storing wine, champagne and Prosecco. Most of the items were on sale due to Christmas holiday and New Year. There is someone who posted about Briannas customer service 11 days prior to what happened to me today on Yelp. However, I don’t seem to see replies on yelp so I needed to come here as well. She needs to be retrained on how to properly talk to customers without making them feel bad. My friends didnt bring their ID with them but I had mine. I understand we look younger but there is absolutely no reason for her to approach us the way she did. She did not have to confront us in front of a crowd of people and make us look stupid just because they didnt have an ID on them. Its absolutely humiliating and if you bring your family and friends, make sure they have their ids and dont bring your younger friends or family because Brianna will follow you and confront you. Im really upset on this interaction because it has never happened to me before. It should be no ones business who is with me. I understand this is stores polices and I now realize there are signs sin front of he store stating this rule which we did not see. However, there is no need for this type of service. I’m not complaing about the rules but of the service. Please management talk to Brianna. Thank you.

Honestly was one of my favorite stores to purchase new drinks, alcohol, etc. Until my experience today. The first time they asked the for everyone’s ID when I was the only one who wanted to purchase a bottle. My girl doesn’t take her bag everywhere so it was a hassle when the manager came up and took the bottle away from the conveyer acting like he was better cause he denied selling me it. Usually it wouldn’t have been an issue to send her out to get her ID but it was his manner of an individual which irritated me and made total wine losing my service from here on out. I wonder if that guy enjoys asking little kids with their parents for their IDs as well.

Amazing place with many options and usually has great staff working there, however the staff can be annoying, they constantly ask questions and you cant escape them when going to a different aisles. Today I was looking at some of the premium alcohol with no intention of buying and some alcohol degenerate came up and started lecturing me on the different kinds they had. When I asked him a question on a special bottle type he acted like he knew what I meant and said I know what youre talking about then started slowly inching away from me then whipped out his phone to google what I was just talking about then proceeded to chat with another employee on what I just asked him. He finally came back up to me around 5 minutes later when I thought he was done trying to help me saying they have never got that type of bottle style in stock. The whole situation was very weird and made me feel uncomfortable. I would suggest the grown 40 year old employees not to act like you know everything especially when you have to google a simple question on a bottle type while making the customer feel uncomfortable while doing so.

This is a very friendly store with some awesome people that worked there I think the first thing with my experience was when I was greeted I started the friendship process by the time I got to the end of the store I have made two or three friends. They do have everything there very organized floors are clean beverages are clean. Fully stocked with everything if you can’t find it all you Gotta to do is ask And they will bring it right to you or let you know when they’ll have it for you. What I like about it it’s not just beverage they have a combination of gifts and unique items for your home their prices of course are great stop in and take a look you might find something you like for yourself or for somebody else as a present. Thank you to the staff of total Wine and more you guys are awesome! I do a lot of cooking and marinating I will put a few photos up of some marinated food. The reason I mention this is because I get supplies from total wine‘s and more for cooking gifts and of course beverages. These are some of the foods my own recipes every single dish is marinated something for instance coconut rum and pineapple blueberry and onion hamburgers with a little bit of dark beer etc. and delicious.Thanks again

My go-to for all of my bar needs when Im bartending. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they ALWAYS have everything that I need. The staff offers great cocktail recipes and they always tell me about the new items in store. There is this one cashier that always makes me laugh. He is full of jokes. The best part is I never have to take anything to my car. They offer carryout and the staff will load your AR. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Purchased $50 gift card in March 2024. The cashier gave me a giftcard of 80 cents, which was purchased in 2022. Female manager inferred I was lying, as they dont do that. She completely ignored what I was saying, quoting the store policy that they stand by their products. This is bull. Customer service confirmed the fraud, yet they delay in a refund nor filing a formal complaint. Had to dispute and get my money back from my credit card company. Total wine has yet to offer me ANYTHING for their mistake, not even a refund. They want to send me another card! Waste of time!

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I been looking for the Jack Daniels Punch drinks and Nina directed to right to them. At the moment we where looking around the store and my wife was look for liquor bottle but she couldnt remember the name. Ron approached us and ask if we needed help. My wife started describing the bottle and the flavor. Without hesitation Ron took us right over to the bottle.Justin the cashier was super friend and invited us to become members since there are rewards and special discounts.which we did. I usually never catch a tasting lol but today was my lucky day. Walked in to grab some craft beers (their range has more options than most places in the south bay), but stumbled upon a tasting and ACTUALLY liked the wine. The cab is a good cab, semi dry, with full bodied notes of blackberries and a touch of black cherry. Not heavy or too bold. I was really captured by the Chard tho cuz usually their more on the sour dry side. But this one seemed lighter in texture, more citrusy and you can taste the fruit that gives it that light finish. Overall good buys and the staff is always super helpful here.

My GF and I spent like half an hour shopping all for nothing because for someone reason they required ID from someone that wasn’t making the purchase. I had left my wallet at home and didn’t have it on me but just because I was with her they required it. Also I’m 34. Such a waste of time and stupid policy.

I stopped by this evening to buy Christmas gifts. The staff at Total Wine said there was limit on the amount bottles I could purchase. They said there was a limit of 2 bottles of Don Julio per purchase regardless of size or flavor. They recommended if wanted to more than 2 bottle I have to purchase online. I dont see the point of purchasing online if I still have to pick up at the store. Since I was short on gifts I ended stopping by the local Vons market. They had a special if I bought 6 or more bottles regardless of which brand or make. I honestly dont see the point of having a limit if the goal is to sell out and make a profit. Sorry Total Wine you lost my business.

Unfortunately my visit at this location was not very pleasant. Christina was unprofessional when i asked for help getting a case of a specific liquor. She told me to order on line so i dont have to bother the workers to get the case for me. People like her shouldn’t be working in any customer service capacity.

Don’t ever go here if you are an African American this store is completely racist!! I was in the store with me and my 20 years old brother and they didn’t let me make my purchase of one wine bottle because he didn’t have his id and I had mines and I almost 25 years old they made a huge scene the manger as well I’ve been here multiple times and as recommended this store to many of my family members, this has never happened to me never go here I wish I could give them a zero don’t ever come here

Everytime I go here all the employees are eager to help and offer assistance in finding what you are looking for. They have some knowledgeable staff and they have a very large selection to choose from. They have wine, spirits, beer and cigars. They also have a great selection accessories and glassware. I really like the weekend tastings for a dime. Usually two whites and two reds. Ive found quite a few wines I like this way.

A store with employees that knows what theyre talking about.I wanted to bring something new to a party I was on my way to. My friend who was hosting it is a Honey Jack Daniels guy. So I ask one of the floor associates and they recommended me the Honey Black Eagle. At first I was skeptical since it was much cheaper than the JD but I bought it anyway. All I say is that the party loved it and so did the next 3 gatherings afterwards.

I briefly stopped to buy a fairly rare specific Italian wine as a gift and was able to quickly find exactly what I was looking for with the assistance of the friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I love their wide variety of flavored alcohol! Im hooked on Sugarlands Appalachian Sippin Cream moonshine! Their prices are good & they have delivery, I usually use Instacart because I have a membership. They have an amazing amount of alcohols to choose from and lots of great deals, even coupons! I feel that the store has changed so much recently and not in a good way. Someone told me that one of the managers left a couple of months ago which is disappointing. The store is messy now, boxes on the floor everywhere and theyve been out of stock of all the stuff that I usually buy. I dont know if it was a manager that tried to help me today, but man, he really needs to familiarize himself with taking a shower. I couldnt even stand within 6 feet of him. Seriously unacceptable

By far one of the worst experience I’ve ever had. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this was by far a not so pleasant experience. I had called in for a keg to see if it was in stock and they did. One of their employees said that they were going to leave it under my name for pick up between the next two days.I arrived at the store, the assistant manager was helping me and she stated that somebody else had purchased the keg I called for and that there was no way that I was able to purchase the keg. Me being confused I asked why would one of your employees tell me you had one in the first place. She mention another guest had placed an order weeks prior which makes sense.What makes it disappointing was the lack of attention she had towards me in helping me find another keg at a different location. I asked if there was another keg close by and if there’s any way to have it transferred here since this location is close to me. She completely did not want to help me out and said that they don’t offer the service. At least it would have been thoughtful if she went out of her way to call the Long Beach location and have them put it aside for me. It was as if she just brushed me off and wanted me to leave the store.I called the Long Beach location and it was a better response from the employees and they were actually very helpful. If I wanted to be treated like this I rather have gone to the local liquor store. Definitely will be going to Long Beach more often. Appreciate the help Vincent from LB!

I came with my friend (22) who’s two years older than I am (20), who was planning a party and was looking to buy from here. The staff was so rude and refused to sell to him because I am not of age. I was not looking to buy anything nor was I paying for anything I simply just went for the ride and they did not let him buy anything despite having a valid ID. I have never ever heard of that being an issue and I 100% believe it was simply because of our ethnicity. The workers made us feel so embarrassed and acted tactlessly with 0 reasoning behind not selling to him.

This is definitely my go-to place for wine. They have a great selection and their prices are excellent. Im also a single malt scotch Drinker, and they have a very good selection. I do shop at Several of their stores, and I find the people at this store to be the least helpful. But since I know how to find what Im looking for, I do fine and I like my choices. The winery direct savings are good too. Lately, some of the prices of edged up slightly, but thats true everywhere. I recommend this store, although some of their other locations are better.

Honestly, wasnt a bad experience had great support picking out wines for a few date nights for the coming weeks. However, the associate that was helping us cash out seemed to not want to be there. She felt irritated and asking another associate if she could leave. We were next in line and i had advised her i wasnt taking a bottle. She went ahead and slammed the bottle on a shelf nearby with the basket we had prior. She then stated we couldnt keep the bottles in the car and demand to have us place the bottles on the table for her to scan them only for her to scan them and place them back in our cart without bags. She then told us that she needed to see both of our ids which sadly i had not carried mine but advised her that my wife would be buying them. She told me she needed to see both our ids and there was no exceptions. I was applaud at the attitude she had and the way she treated us that we walked out without buying anything. There is a certain level of respect that must be done here and that employee had none.

Update: they really went out of their way to make this right, not only did the set a case of wine aside for me, when one of the cases of champagne was out of stock their expert helped me find a suitable replacement! Very impressed by their dedication to service!----wanted to buy a case of one of my favorite wines for a wedding. Online it said it was a good price and in stock.Unfortunately they were out of stock... well not completely they had only five bottles. Thinking I could buy partially now and partially later I asked if I could order a case and know rough estimate when it would arrive, I got a one word answer :No...or at least I could get the bulk discount for the remaining bottles on the shelf, if I ordered more today?NoI can understand having business practices that are strict, But the rude attitude is not excusable.I hope Payton was just having a rough day! One of the worst experiences of my life made me feel like I’m a criminal for taking my kid inside which I couldn’t leave at home alone was going shopping for holiday drinks. There was a white dad with his kid didn’t get asked the same question as me and was able to buy his stuff no questions asked. I am hispanic and so is my kid and I felt that played a part into being questioned the way I was. Felt completely discriminated. One of the male managers named Jeff gave me such a hard time and made me feel uncomfortable asking me if I had proof that she was under my care, telling me I didn’t look over 30 I had no idea you had to be 30 and over in order to take care or have a child. Never going back there again completely unprofessional.

LOVE this place. Huge store with the biggest selection of wines that Ive seen so far outside of a winery. They do have a tasting room as well as an information room of sorts for folks that want / require details on wines I suppose. In any case its awesome browsing. This probably is the best wine store and other alcoholic items that we have been to. The staff is great and ready to help you decide on the right wine for you. Prices are good also. If you get their app and register, you also get special discounts sent to you. For example, we recently received a special that gave us 20% off of 12 bottles or more of wine. Before I began this review, I want to say first of all, this store over all is amazing! Their selection and pricing cant be beat. The reason Im writing this review is because of an incident with a very rude and unprofessional wine manger named Rosanne. My husband and I have been coming here for a few years and I know we have spend a couple of thousand of dollars at this store. We are always invited to various events and are greeted warmly by all the employees, except by the above mentioned individual.Last Saturday, while we were being assisted by Kris, Rosanne rudely told Kris to assist some other customers with a champagne purchase. He was forced to abruptly leave us at her urging. We were left standing there, trying to figure what just happened. We were furious and brought this rude behavior to Rosanne attention. She was a little snippy that we questioned her decision to have an employee who was advising us about the Vennstone brand of wine, to go elsewhere. She claim that she didnt know he was helping us!!!!!!! Really now!!!! She was standing all but six feet from us and clearly heard him informing us about the brand. She reluctantly apologized after we let her know how rude she was.My husband and went in line to make our purchased, and ran into the asst. manager Paul, who was sincerely sorry about the incident and said that he would report the incident to the manager. At that point.Rosanne came over and tried give us a gift card as courtesy for her rude behavior. We reluctantly accepted the gift card. And, it turned out she gave us a invalid card!!! Im sure this was done on purpose to embarrass us! However, the following week we spoke to Paul and he apologize sincerely and gave us another gift card immediately.Kudos to Paul, Eric, Ron, Jeffery, and Peyton, who always greet us with a smile and assist with all of our purchases.

Im 22 and I get my ID needs to be checked by the clerk because I look under 40. I went looking for 2 unusual and hard-to-find spirits - soju (a Korean distilled spirit) and port (a fortified wine). It is huge inside, much larger than a Bevmo. I found both beverages at this store. Ill talk about the beverages themselves, adding to the story about this store.I asked a staff member as I walked into the store about the soju. More soju is sold worldwide than vodka but soju is not well-known in the US. I tried it because I like Kdramas. I easily found the soju on a 3 wide shelf in a stack at the back of the store. The shelf was right at eye Level in a stack at least 4 shelves high. There was only one brand, Jinro. Jinro has perhaps 80% of the world market in soju. Several flavored varieties and the original flavor were all on the shelf.Walking around the end of the row,, I came across 2 employees. I asked about the port. The port wine was on the other side of the store - a long walk away. The employee led me there. I like to try port wine occasionally because of an outstanding Oporto example that I got at a very reasonable price from Trader Joes in the 80s. That example had been aged in barrels and was not too sweet and was sweet, slightly acidic, thick and tasty. The flavor lasted and lasted in my mouth. Even 5 minutes later I was smacking my tongue to pull out new bursts of the chewy port flavor. Every port I have tried since then has been a disappointment - thin and usually too sweet. Maybe I am not willing to spend enough for good port since then. I will be returning to Total Wine & More as I go up in price trying to find an equivalent port.

Solid selection and great prices, like most Total Wine locations. Parking lot is right-sized, but that also means its a bit crazy way too often... you rarely have to wait more than 3 minutes for a spot, but you also have to be careful not to get run over by all the traffic inside the lot!

This is by far the best wine shop I know in the area. The largest selection of vodkas I have ever seen, which spans an entire aisle sourced from pretty much all of the vodka distilling countries of the world. I personally like the Spanish wine selection which although not extensive has some very good options.

This place is great..they have such amazing stock ..they have almost every liqueur you can think of..plus at this place they have wine tasting..and also offer classes..spent about a good hour just looking around at the bottles they have..some are just like art..you have to appreciate their different designs. Their customer service was great too they can recommend good tasting wines..tequila etc..good place to come to if your thinking of having any get together..definitely will becoming here more often..

Love this place and Bevmo, but this location is more accessible than the Bevmo down the street. It has a great selection and decent prices. They also carry some select reserve beers and expensive spirits and wines. Everything to fit your needs. If youre lucky, you can ask to see if they have pliny in stock and they will grab a few bottles for you. Gotta love that Russian River. Still trying to catch some Pappy Van Winkle. Maybe Ill get lucky another time. Also, love the wine tastings they do. Really helps when you find something new and delicious!

I dont work there, but I can say theyre the lowest prices in the entire area, including Bevmo. *Make sure you bring your ID however, theyre pretty strict about enforcing the age limit, regardless of how old you look.

I went to total wine with my lady and she left her I’d and such at home, now mind you I have shopped at this location many time. At check out the cashier asked for both ids and explained that both people need to to show. Well first off been going there for at least 5 years and that’s the first I’m hearing of this. Then the cashier calls the manager over to see if she can make the transaction, the manager says you need to be 21 to even be in the store. Like I just watch 7 people walk in no one check their Id so why would you say something like that. I am all for rules and regulations as I am veteran (4 tours overseas) but you can pick and choose when you want to enforce your said rules and or regulations. I will be going to bev mo unless there is resolution

This is like the super store for wine, liquor, beer and everything needed to enjoy them. Where some beverage stores have a shelf or two of some drinks, Total Wine has an aisle or multiple aisles. For example it has a whole aisle of tequila and multiple aisles of Cabernet wines. If it is drink related and you cant find it, just ask a representative and they will show you where it is located.

The customer service is nice nasty. The clerk that helped me was a total idiot. I asked if they had 40 bottles if a particular brand and he said no and it would take a week to stock. I looked on the shelves and What do you think I found? 40 bottles. And I asked about the different brands he gave me a smart stupid answer. Not going there again.

Excellent choice of French and Italian wines (you can actually see what grapes are wines are made of). Good choice of liqueurs. For example I found a great selection of Creme de Cassis (even better than in Paris). One also get 10 percent of if buying more than 10 bottles of wine.

The best prices on alcohol, hands down. I find their craft beer selection to be better than BevMo as well. I dont drink wine or spirits much, but have always been able to find something if I need it there too.While their prices cant be beat, their treatment of their beer certainly can. Loads of IPAs sitting warm on the shelf along with pale ales which should always be kept cold. The beer is also organized by style, which makes it hard to find a specific beer. It would make more sense to me to organize it by brewery, but thats just me; it probably works for most people.Lastly, make sure you go into the cooler in the back; thats where all the good beer is (Pliny, etc.) kept. It looks like it would be an employees only area, but its not.

The great thing about Total Wine is its a one stop for all things alcohol. Nobody leaves TW without something in their hag or cart. This round I found the 19 Crimes/ Snoop Dog collaboration red blend wine. Actually a pretty fo-shizzie red wine. Also picked up bottles of wine from local wineries in Los Olivos. Fess Parker Frontier Red is a nice red blend for under $11.
